Domon
Anywas, this deck I made with some spare JP cards that I have lying around, anywho I've got translations for most of the cards which we haven't seen. 304-011 CYBER RAIDER Dark/Machine/4/1400/1000 When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, Reverse Summoned or Special Summoned, choose 1 of the following effects and activate it. - Choose 1 Equipment card that is Equipped on 1 Monster on the Field and destroy it. - Choose 1 Equipment card that is Equipped on a Monster and Equip it on this card. 304-013 LITTLE WINGUARD Air/Warrior/4/1400/1800 This Monster can change its mode once during your End Phase. G6-03 IGZARION UNIVERSE Type: Effect Monster Dark/Animal Warrior/4/1800/1900 Effect: This effect can only activated during your turn's Battle Step. If you reduce this Monster's attack strength by 400 when it attacks a Monster in defense mode with a lower defense strength, do damage to your opponent equal to the difference. This effect lasts until the end of the turn. G4-15 MAGIC ARM SHIELD Type: Trap Card Effect: Activate when your opponent attacks 1 of your Monsters. Gain control of another of your opponent's face-up Monsters, and that Monster becomes the target of the attack instead. At the end of the Battle Phase, control of the Monster returns to your opponent. CHAINED BOOMERANG Type: Trap Card Effect: You may change 1 of your opponent's attacking monsters to defense mode. Then, equip on 1 of your monsters, increasing its attack strength by 500. 304-027 FEMALE WARRIOR FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION ("Twlight Zone Female Warrior") Light/Warrior/4/1500/1600 When this card Battles an opponent's Monster, you can remove this your opponent's Monster and this card from the game. 304-032 DAGGER OF BUTTERFLIES - ERUMA Equipment Magic Increase the Equipped Monster's attack strength by 300. If this card is destroyed and goes to the Cemetery while Equipped on a Monster, you can return this card to its owner's hand. 304-040 SPRING OF THE FAERIES Normal Magic Return 1 Equipment card from your Cemetery to your hand. That Equipment card can't be activated this turn. 304-052 SUB-SPACE MATTER TRANSFER DEVICE Normal Trap Choose 1 of the face-up Monsters on your Field and remove it from the game until the End Phase of the activated turn. G5-02 BIG SHIELD GUARDER Type: Effect Monster Earth/Warrior/4/100/2600 Effect: If this Monster is face-down when a Magic card targets it, negate that Magic card. At that time, this Monster changes to face-up defense mode. At the end of a Damage Step in which this Monster was attacked, it changes to attack mode. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay and without further ado, here is the deck. Guest G-Unit
It just looks like you compiled a bunch of random cards together. Is there any point to it other than pure boredom? Also, Eruma is only used for the Gear Freed + Marionette/Royal Magic Library combo. With one copy of each and nothing to support it, I don't really see the point. Solo Tremaine
G-Unit, try and be more constructive. If you think something in a Deck doesn't work, give suggestions as to how it can be improved. As a general note to everyone, I'm watching this forum very carefully from now on to make sure no one steps out of line with their comments. I suggest everyone reads Shy's Sticky thread on Personal Attacks and think twice before making any derisive remarks again. Guest G-Unit
- Shift the total deck number to 40. - Adjust the ratio of monsters to magic/trap to about 15:25 or 16:24. - Lower the tribute monsters to 1-3. If you choose one, make sure that tribute monster is Jinzo. - Find a deck theme, the central monsters around that theme, and support it with staples, semi-staples, and support monsters. Here's an example of probably a better aggro deck that is better than any other deck posted previously in this topic: "Aegis Winds" v2.0 - Light/Air Aggro Monsters(16) 01. Lord of Thunder - Saborg 02. Android Psycho Shocker 03. Mage Knight Breaker 04. Dimensional Warrior Girl 05. Cyber Pod / Dimensional Warrior Girl(sb) 06. Exclusivity Virus 07. Newt 08. Newt 09. Spear Dragon 10. Sapphire Dragon 11. Blade Knight 12. Lady Ninja / Slypheed(sb) 13. Kuribou 14. Black Forest Witch 15. Critter 16. Magic Reflector - Reflect Bounder / Dol Dora(sb) Magic(18) 17. Jar of Greed 18. Angel's GIft 19. Raise Dead 20. Early Burial 21. Change of Heart 22. Theft 23. Enemy Controller 24. Thunderbolt 25. Black Hole 26. Scapegoat 27. Harpy's Feather Sweep 28. Cyclone 29. Cyclone 30. Cyclone 31. Tempest 32. Mischevious Twin Duo 33. Steadfast Guard 34. Confiscate / Power of Union(sb) Trap(6) 35. Sixth Sense / Magical Cylinder(sb) 36. Holy Barrier - Mirror Force 37. Apostles of Harmony 38. Imperial Decree 39. Cry of the Living Dead 40. Destructing Ring Summary: - While rushing, getting hand advantage via Sixth Sense/ discard trio. - Sideboard conversions include: Light solo Aggro, Air solo Aggro, Air Hand Control. - Consistent rusher flow, while maintaining high support level for monster removal and magic/trap removal. M/t Removal boosted with Lady Ninja's effect. Monster removal is enhanced with Saborg as well as the Scapegoat/Enemy Controller combination. - All in all, dominance and superiority. kofman2155
Basically besides revising my deck I would also like to create the ultimate goal, the ultimate dark paladin deck that I should aim for. This is what my deck looks like today: Fustion: 1 - Dark Paladin Tribute Monsters: 2 - Dark Magician 2 - Buster Plader non-Tribute Monsters: 2 - Luster Dargon 2 - Spear Dragon 2 - Skilled White Magician 2 - Skilled Black Magician 1 - Penguin Soldier 1 - Old Vandictive Magician 1 - Tribe-Infecting Virus 1 - Cyber Jar 1 - Magian of Faith Trap Cards: 2 - Spell Shield Type-8 2 - Pitch Black Power Stone 1 - Waboku Spell Cards: 1 - Mystical Space Typhoon 1 - Giant Trunade 1 - Heavy Storm 1 - Harpie's Feather Duster 1 - Graceful Charity 1 - Pot of Greed 1 - Dark Hole 1 - Raigeki 1 - Axe of Despair 1 - Scapegoat 1 - Swords of Revealing Light 1 - Change of Heart 1 - Monster Reborn 1 - Premature Burial 1 - Soul Exchange 1 - Tribute Doll 1 - Polymerization 1 - Poison of the Old Man Total Cards: 40 + 1 Fusion If your wondering on what happened to a few of my cards, well I traded them so I no longer have them in my posessesion. They were good trades, such as my second dark paladin for a first edition skilled dark magician. Anyway this is what I think the perfect dark paladin deck will look like: Fustion: 2 - Dark Paladin Tribute Monsters: 2 - Dark Magician 2 - Buster Plader 1 - Jinzo non-Tribute Monsters: 2 - Luster Dargon 2 - Spear Dragon 2 - Skilled White Magician 2 - Skilled Black Magician 1 - Breaker the Magical Warrior (trade him, I'm idiot) 1 - Sinister Serpent 1 - Yata 1 - Penguin Soldier 1 - Old Vandictive Magician 1 - Tribe-Infecting Virus 1 - Cyber Jar 1 - Magian of Faith Trap Cards: 2 - Spell Shield Type-8 2 - Pitch Black Power Stone 1 - Mirror Force Spell Cards: 1 - Giant Trunade 1 - Heavy Storm 1 - Harpie's Feather Duster 1 - Graceful Charity 1 - Pot of Greed 1 - Dark Hole 1 - Raigeki 1 - Axe of Despair 1 - Swords of Revealing Light 1 - Change of Heart 1 - Monster Reborn 1 - Premature Burial 2 - Polymerization Total Cards: 40 + 2 Fusion I took out: Scapegoat, Tribute Doll, Poison of the Old Man, Soul Exchange, Mystical Space Typhoon, and Wabaku I added: Second Polymerization, Mirror Force, Yata, Sinister Serpent, Breaker, Jinzo, and a second Dark Paladin. In my opinion this is as optimized as the deck can get. Now I'm not saying it's perfect, it just seems that way to me. Do you guys see any major flaws or weaknesses. A few people said that I carry way to many tributes. One of the major reasons is that if I get screwed and draw a Buster or Magician into my hand. It's very unlikly that I will be able to summon it. I rely on my skilled magicians to get my level 7 attackers out. Jinzo creates another extra weight on my back but his effect is sometimes worth it. I got rid of the MST and put in Breaker. A second poly, paladin, and serpent is nice. Because I can now use my paladin's magic nagation each turn, and a jinzo at the same time, helps me block magic and traps silmountanously. The dream of getting both out makes it as strong as a god card. Anyway, I'd like to discuss the D. Paladin deck it's pros and cons, as well as anyway of improving the deck. I'm currently looking for cards that I've written above. So I hope to posses a few more of em each week.

Snodin
Okay, first of all, you called all your magic/spell and trap card magic cards. There's a difference in how magic/spell and trap cards are played. Second, way too many tribute monsters. And with just 30 cards to play with, your odds of getting any of them out are slim. You seriously need to build a theme here, cause almost none of those monsters go together. What that means is, they all need to compliment each other (type or attribute) so that you can strategize your magic or trap power-ups/backups for them. Sorry, but I'm giving this deck a very low score: 3 out of 10. It's not a bad start for a newbie, but you'd get trampled in a tournament.

Tom222666
I have a few comments. The first thing that comes to mind is, why do you have Magical Scientist? You have no fusions at all for his effect and he is too weak. Second is, where did you get Early Burial? It is not even in Dark Crisis. Third, I am gonna suggest you try to find Magical Cylinder, it will provide another measure of safety. And that is my little rant. I give you a 6/10 for using a non-released card but of course this is only my opinion.

They are to just sit there for defense if nessesary. Combo 1: Dark Hole and Masked Sorcerer. I use Dark Hole to clear the field and attack with Masked Sorcerer, forcing my apponent to discard a card. Combo 2: Trying to summon my two Thunder Dragons and fuse them. I should hold the two Thunder Dragons in my hand with polymerisation, and have 2 Magician Of Faith and swords of reveling light on the field. I play Cheerful Coffin, sending 2 TD to the graveyard with poly. I then play Monster reborn, bringing back one TD. I then flip Magician Of Faith, bringing back Monster Reborn to use on my second TD. The second Magician is flipped for poly. I then use poly for Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon. Can anyone think of an easier way to do this, coz when I think about it, it takes too many turns or too many spaces on the field. Somethings not right about it.
Solo Tremaine
I always got the impression you can fuse monsters if they're both in your hand, or if not that then if one's in your hand and the other's on the field. A better way to summon them quickly might be just to use Tribute to the Doomed or a card that allows you to discard while doing something to your opponent at the same time, then use Monster Reborn with Premature Burial or The Shallow Grave, something like that. That way you don't have the jiggery-pokery of trying to get MR and Poly back, plus you can cut down on your overall card numbers. There are plenty of monster-revival cards around. You could do with a Luminous Spark, too- that raises the ATK of all your LIGHT monsters by 500.
Domon
Any opinions on my deck guys?? Just curious is all. Anyways, I think your deck looks fine Marik_Duelist, it looks cool, though I have to go with Solo's suggestion, throw in a Luminous Spark just for more of a power bonous. Anywho that's my rant for now, I give your deck a 7/10, it's good but it can be better.
Solo Tremaine
Domon- the Deck looks good, but I'd suggest possibly cutting down on a Thunder Nyan Nyan. I's only lose one at the most, but bear in mind that with quite a mix of Dark and other element monsters, just one of those on the field could destroy all three of your Nyan Nyans at once. You could always add in a Soul of Purity and Light- its effect pretty much allows it to be summoned at any time if you have a Light monster in your Graveyard anyway, and that gives you 100 extra ATK to play around with. Just a suggestion, mind. It seems like a good Deck, though. Although you could probably do better with Sonic Bird rather than Senju to get your Ritual card out, because you can search for Paladin of White Dragon with Sangan anyway.

DeathBug
You're right; my mistake. after all, how could I imagine that someone who posted the Light/Wind deck Altron has in his siggy, in the exact same format that Altron posted his decks in, sed the Japanese names and exact gaming terminology Altron used, uses the ame style of grammer and diction that Altron used and had the same reaction to critism as Altron could possibly be Altron? Kakashi
This is my English tournament deck, although, being Gravekeepers, you wouldn't think it'd be very viable in a tournament. It did get me to the 2nd round (which is the top 8, due to the format Cardshows uses) at the last Glasgow tournament, so it can't be all bad. Unfortunately, I got a past winner who used Magical Scientist to great effect. Tribute Monsters 2x Gravekeeper's Chief 1x Jinzo Total: 3 Non-Tribute Monsters 3x Gravekeeper's Cannonholder 3x Gravekeeper's Curse 3x Gravekeeper's Assailant 3x Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier 2x Gravekeeper's Spy 1x Cyber Jar 1x Magican of Faith 1x Witch of the Black Forest Total: 17 Spells 3x Necrovalley 3x Mystical Space Typhoon 2x Terraforming 1x Pot of Greed 1x Harpie's Feather Duster 1x Monster Reborn 1x Change of Heart 1x Heavy Storm 1x Dark Hole 1x Raigeki 1x Graceful Charity 1x United We Stand Total: 17 Traps 3x Rite of Spirit 2x Waboku Total: 5 Half the fun of this deck is swarming. The other half is messing up recursion for the other player ^_^. Edit: Note that I do not spend that much money on English cards, which is why I'm missing a few staples like Mirror Force and Imperial Order. I'm aware I could do with them. Guest Red Inferno
Very nice deck. I'm not real experienced with Gravekeeper types from 301 but from what I can see you can use 1 Shallow Grave to recycle that Cyber Pod. Also for a sidedeck card, you might want to consider Messenger of Peace as GK cards tend to be on the weak side when looking at thurr attack. Add in two staples whether they be Japanese or English, Tribe Infector Virus(X-Virus) and Breaker.

Any JP YGO board does not use the same format, because I lurk at several, but that's besides the point. Only one poster on OB used that format. He got banned for attitude, came back named after his favorite monster, got banned again, came back named after a Gundam... And then you show up using his exact mannerisms, preferred English deck type, habits, and reacting the exact same way to the critsism of your deck that Altron did. Granted, I'm not a mod, so my opinion on the subject doesn't matter; if it is brought to my opinion that I am greatly in error, I will, of course, apologize.
