Guest Altron Gundam
Well I've already compared the episode where Buu uses the Kamikaze ghosts to use the energy attacks separately with my subbed eps(already seen Z and GT subbed), and in my subs where the Ghosts in the canyon use the Masenko-ha, howcome in the dub they say Galit Gun...when Buu hadn't even absorbed Vejita...meaning he can't possibly know the Galit Gun attack much less use it. Transtic Nerve
That was a FUNi mistake, since obviously Buu hadn't absorbed Vegita yet. They never get their attack names right anyway....
Jinzouningen17
That is kinda geeky though. They use Masenko when its NOT supposed to be(ie. the majority of Piccolo's and Gohan's attacks) used and dont use it when it's supposed to be(ie. the ghost, and a few others.). Oh well. Guest QuickSilver
Vegeta tought some of his moves to Chibi Trunks and that was most probably one of them, i maybe wrong though

Remember, for the galit gun, you have to kneel down on 1 knee. Half of your body is twisted and it sorta looks like you're going for the Kamehameha, except he's down on one knee. Imperfect Cell(form 2) was the only one that was able to duplicate that move. Now what the Buu Ghosts did was the Masenko where you have both of your hands facing out on the middle of your forehead, and then you fire the blast(Gohan and Mirai No{Future}Trunks are the only ones that do this. Trunks only does it in Movie 8 though when he and Gohan try to do it to Brolli. Piccolo in actuallity has NEVER done the Masenko, but Funimation changed the moves around soo much that when you look at it, every move Gohan and Piccolo do they call the Masenko. ) Your Welcome. ;)

Remeber when Mirai Trunks saw Cell do the Galit Gun he knew what move it was, so Vegeta must have taught him the move. Though this has nothing to do with the Kamikaze ghosts because FUNi must have justed changed it that there was a lip sync or something. Yes the stance is wrong for the Galit Gun, but think about those ghosts dont have knees so they cant exactly do the stance!
shibatku
He could have just done what Cell did. Cell just needed to see the attack and he could use it. Like he used the Kamehameha several time and he didn't even learn it he just saw then use it on him and he learned it. So thats probaly why he was able to use it. Transtic Nerve
Cell had the cells of Gokou. Gokou was able to do the same thing. He saw Roshi do the Kame-Hame-Ha and did it himself right after.... Buu doesn't have Gokou's cells
Guest Altron Gundam
Yeah..and since when is using the Galit Gun holding two hands above your head? Plus in the OFFICIAL version(JP version), you clearly hear the words.. MASENKO - --- HA!!!
Manic Webb
I didn't even see that episode in Japanese and I knew that was supposed to be the Masenko. I find it strange that they screwed that up, since Gohan used it several times during the dub of the Garlic Jr. saga. btw, has Piccolo ever used the Masenko himself? Kaioshin
I think it has been established that FUNi purposely changed the Masenko to the Galit Gun, why? We will probably never know. I dont think Piccolo ever used the Masenko, but he's meant to know it.
JCBaggee
Geez, that makes no sense whatsoever. I mean, he said Galit Gun in the Saiyan Saga, so it's obviously not considered bad by FUNi...maybe the voice actor couldn't squeeze out the "Masenko-Ha!" right...
vegeta rocker
Who knows? Well i agree he can't simply imitate moves, he has to absorb them first.
Jinzouningen17
Originally posted by Endymion btw, has Piccolo ever used the Masenko himself?
In the original Japanese version, no. But to Funi, he "supposidly" done it a good bit of times(mainly against Cell. You'll hear him say it during the final Kamehameha battle between Cell and Gohan when Piccolo came to help in the Funi version. But in the Japanese version, it was just supposed to be a super blast and he was supposed to tell Cell to "Go to hell").
Transtic Nerve
The only other person who knows the Masenko attack is Mirai no Trunks. He was taught by Gohan, because Gohan was the only one who trained him. You'll see them both use it in either the first Brolli movie or the Bojack movie, I forgot... Other than that, to my knowledge, no one else uses that attack.

Movie #8(which is one of my favorites, and I personally think that it should be the first theatrical DBZ movie release here in the states since it is the length of a real full length movie.)
