[i]I was in my classroom when I heard the news, but I couldn?t believe it. Tori, my assistant, came bursting through my door with waves tears flowing down her cheeks. Tori screamed as she stumbled towards my desk.[/i]

[b]Tori:[/b] Professor Hotori!!

[b]Horoti:[/b] What?s wrong?

[i]Tori knelt on the floor, causing her short blue skirt to spread across the floor like a puddle of water. She turned to me, and I noticed that her eye pupils had shrunk, almost as if they were trying to hide from something.[/i]

[b]Tori:[/b] It?s happened again.

[i]Immediately I knew what she was talking about, and a sharp chill ran through my spine. After a decade of reconstruction and prosperity, yhe world was about to end. Sachiel, the 3rd Angel had arrived.[/i]

[b]Davis:[/b] God, this thing.. it is unstoppable. Bullets and missiles don't seem to affect it at all. I'm requesting authorization to use N2 mines.

[b]???:[/b] Request denied. That would go against the battle outline. Does it match the information we briefed you on earlier today.

[b]Davis:[/b] Yes, exactly. Oh ****... it's getting closer. [i]To someone else[/i] Dispatch tanks immediately, box it in. Slow its progress 75 percent. That is the plan!

[b]Davis:[/b] Hello? Hello? Dammit! NERV was disconnected.

[b]Soldier:[/b] Captain Davis, its particle beam has destroyed our first three rows of troops. We need to pull back immediately.

TWO DAYS BEFORE SAICHEL ARRIVED



[i]Ryan was in geometry class studying for the upcoming finals when he noticed something seemed off about today. First he had gotten into a fight with his dad which never had happened. Second, he ran late getting to school and had to be counted as tardy. Thirdly some jerk thought that Ryan was calling him names and punched him square in the face giving him a sore cheek. Ryan rubbed the now tender spot on his cheek wondering what the hell was going on. He continually pondered this question untill the teacher Mrs. Seshita had to come over to see what was wrong with him.[/i]

Mrs. Seshita: Are you okay Ryan?? Do you feel sick?

Ryan: Huh? Oh yes ma'am I'm fine, just a little confused.

Mrs. Seshita: With what?

Ryan: Oh just what the heck is going on today, it feels like the entire world is out of wack.

Mrs. Seshita: Well just between you and me i agree, it feels like something bad is about to happen, you know like when you are walking down a street at night and you happen to turn around and then you see someone following you and then you quicken your pace but that person is still following you. That kind of feeling?

Ryan: Exactly. I mean its like..I don't know, maybe i should just get back to work.

Mrs.Seshita: Okay, I'll tell you now that the test will be hard.

Ryan: Okay i'll focus and get ready.

[i]Ryan continued to study and focus entirely on his studies until the bell rang for lunch. Ryan walked out the front doors pulling on his black leather jacket and walking over towards his car, this cool brisk October weather sure made Ryan think of when he and his parents lived in Oregon, before his dad got a major buisness job here, he remembered the house they lived in barely, just barely enough to remember that when it was winter they would always sit by the fire place and watch T.V., his father would be in the kitchen making dinner while his mother would be getting things for the month's holiday ready and he would be sitting in front of the T.V. watching Blue's Clues. "Anyways back to the present." He thought, he decided to head to the local hangout place where he and his friend Scott Valdes ate lunch. As Ryan neared his parents black Honda he noticed that the kid the tried to start a fight with him was following him. Ryan quickened his pace but realized that the guy was right on his tail, Ryan spun around and looked him in the face, his eyes narrowed down.[/i]

Ryan: What do you want?

Obnoxious kid: Oh i just came to apologize for being so rude.

Ryan: Thanks but no thanks. Now if you will excuse me i have to leave.

[i]The kid walks off with an arrogant air to his stride. Ryan hopped in his car and turned on the engine and drove off towards the cafe`. As he pulled up to the cafe` Ryan saw his friend Scott sitting at their usual window seat with Ryan's girlfriend Uri (Urikama but Uri for short.) "She must have caught a ride with him. He briskly walked in the doorway and waved and took his seat next to Tori and planted a big kiss right on her cheek, she blushed a bright pink and gave him a hug and they began to converse for a little while.[/i]

Uri: What took you so long?

Ryan: I got distracted, well i had to go to the photo shop so i could get some extra things for my camera.

Uri: How come you don't take a picture of me just for the heck of it?

Ryan: Never thought of it, i guess i will this weekend.

Uri: Okay.

Scott: Can we go ahead and order some food?

Ryan: Okay. How about some sushi?

Uri: Sounds good. So are you ready for the upcoming test?

Ryan: Sort of.

[i]The three continued their conversation until the food came.[/i]

Look, I'm really confused right now. Shy's post has Sachiel arriving, yet your posts shows no sign of him, Domon (And why all the American names? I thought this was Japan).

I really can't be bothered anymore. Domon, it's like you haven't even read Shy's post. I'm just going off of his.

(I'll take it this is just before Sachiel appears in the series--Everyone was already in the Shelters by the time the 3rd angel appeared on screen :whoops:.)

[I]The city was abandoned. Cars and other vehicles lay strewn across the road, trains had ceased service and loudspeakers across Tokyo-3 were repeating the same message over and over again..

No-one was around to hear it. And the few that were still on the streets didn't intend to listen to it. Most people hidden down in the shelters had no idea why they were there. Embedded within the hills surrounding Tokyo-3, hundreds of bunkers formed a complex network, designed to house more people than Tokyo-3 ever had, population wise. Such precautions were standard.

But to Hiro Takahashi, nothing was standard. 'I've only been here a few days,' he thought to himself, 'and already, they've called a State of Emergency. What's the problem?'. He'd only been living in the latest incarnation of Japan's former capital for a week or so, at the most.

What annoyed him most was the total secrecy. 'Evactuating a whole city means something big is up. And they don't even tell us what it's about? This bites...'

Hiro was lost so deep in thought that he barely noticed a light tap on his shoulder. He muttered, and looked up behind him, met by the familiar face of classmate, Kensuke Aida.[/I]

[B]Hiro:[/B] Oh, Kensuke. Hi.

[B]Kensuke:[/B] Hey Takahashi, have you seen Touji around?

[B]Hiro:[/B] I can't say that I have... Is he even in the shelter?

[B]Kensuke:[/B] I don't think so. I bet he snuck out to see what's happening out there!

[B]Hiro:[/B] Maybe. Ask him when you see him next.

[B]Kensuke:[/B] [I]If[/I] I see him again.

[B]Hiro:[/B] Heh. Such a pessimist.

[I]Kensuke walks away, and Hiro gets back to drifting away. He wasn't beginning to like Tokyo-3.[/I]

Okay first off Final flash i mean no disrespect when i'm speaking. First off in Shy's signup he said you could be a normal person with a normal life and not even know if the EVA's or Angels, Secondly Queen Asuka signed up and why aren't you getting mad at her? She's a normal person. Thirdly i use some american names because i couldn't think of any Japanese names at the moment, and if you look my char's girlfriend and teacher are both japanese. So please don't chew me out like this. I'll say this again, i mean no disrespect its just that i signed up with my own character an i personally think that i signed up accordingly. Sorry if i'v cause you any inconvince.

[size=1]OOC: You can name their character whatever you want. And I doubt that everyone made it to the shelters on time, although I doubt that they are in geometry class.

Just do what you want Domon, FF was only trying to make a helpful suggestion.

[i]After grabbing my briefcase, Tori and I hurried from my classroom towards the hallway. There were dozens of solid wooden doors, but only one led to the emergency exit. In case of a dangerous situation we had been instructed to use the underground paths that had been installed over the past decade.

Walking in the streets was too dangerous, but I doubted that many knew that. These people had grown up thinking that these paths were built to protect everyone from fires and earthquakes, but that wasn't the truth at all. NERV knew how to keep a secret, but that was going to end today.

For years we had been practicing our evacuation drills, and it looked like they would finally pay off today. I tried to force the door open, but it wouldn't budge. Someone had sealed it.[/i]

[b]Tori:[/b] What's wrong Professor?

[b]Hotori:[/b] The door won't move, it was locked from inside of the tunnels.

[b]Tori:[/b] What are we going to do?

[b]Horoti:[/b] We will have to go outside; maybe we can enter the shelters through one of the other tunnels in the area.

[i]A shot rang throughout the halls, and Tori began to scream in agony. She fell to the floor, and a second shot grazed my ear and punctured the wall behind me. I glanced down the corridor, and saw a man in a dark trench coat pointing his silver pistol in my direction. He was tall, with dark hair and a pair of tinted glasses covering his blue eyes.

I straightened my glasses, and saw the NERV ID badge pinned to his coat.[/i]
