Well it looks like we've got a new addition to the adult swim line up.

0080. yup, it looks ok, but this one should hopefully be based around the story rather than the amazing art.

What do you guys know about it?

I mean, its obviously during the war. So that part is the same old stuff. But what about the rest? And what are your thoughts on it?

0080 War in the pocket is made in 1989 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Gundam. It is the story about a small group of Zeon soldiers who have to destroy the newly built Gundam RX78-4 Alex in a colony inside Side 6. It takes place in the last month of OYW. The story is excellent and characters are convincing. It shows the effect of war towards both soldiers and civilians. It is well worth the 6 episodes. In my opinion, this story defines the meaning of Gundam in the most easy to understand way.

btw, I figured it was about the story rather than the art. But the art didnt exactly look bad, so I guess it will or was, a great gundam series.

0080 is only 6 episodes long. The characters are designed by Haruhiko Mikimoto, the desiger of Macross. It is kind of different from MSG, Zeta, ZZ and CCA which are done by Yoshikazu Yashuiko and Hiroyuki Kitazume.
