wrist cutter
The wait is over. Janne Da Arc, the band whose members have been caught at their silliest in my sig for the past few weeks, has finally released their new single entitled "MARIA no tsumeato", which means "Maria's Traces". None of you probably know Janne Da Arc but do you have to? There's two small clips provided in my sig if you want to hear this awesome song, created by an equally awesome band. On the official site, also linked in my sig, there's plenty more media files in case you're interested in them. And you should be! They're great. Sui Generis
Wow thats cool! I think I've found a new band! They are awesome! For some reason it reminds me of an anime opening theme song...which one though? Oh well... I love em! *continues listening* Just a quick queston where do I go to get the clips? I can't read Japanese..:drunk:
amibasuki
well, I took a listen. they're pretty cool ^_^. some of my favorites are the one in your sig, Seed, and this one song with a name in katakana (can't read it :bluesweat), but the pic beside the link has some weird dummy that looks like a stoned Pinnochio; kind of a disturbing picture, actually :drunk:.

The discography link will take you to a page with all of their singles, and each will have real media and windows media player samples.
Originally posted by amibasuki this one song with a name in kana
The kana are SHIRUBIA... that's what I call the song, but if you English-ify it, the intent was SYLVIA. So... neither way looks all that great in my opinion, but I just go with the straight kana conversion. I must put up a full version of MARIA no tsumeato though. That clip doesn't do the song justice at all, there's so much more...
Sui Generis
Hey quick qeustion do they do the Cowboy Bebop theme.
wrist cutter
Nope, that isn't them. Oh, and if anyone is interested, the single ranked #4 on the Oricon singles chart (which is like the Japanese Billboard)... I think their previous single "Shining ray" got #6, making "MARIA no tsumeato" their highest ranking ever, tied with "feel the wind" and "Lunatic Gate". Yay :D
