Syk3
I just saw it and I must say, I'm surely impressed. I wasn't expecting that much out of it, actually. I thought Goldeneye was an awsome movie, but the two that followed have gotten worse. I was pretty sure that this one was just ging to be another crappy story with the title of James Bond. I was wrong. :) The movie was actually very well made. The acting was great, the cars were spectacular, and the story was good as well. The sound and picture didn't bring down the movie at all, and the action scenes were very realistic. I'd have to say that my favorite part was the car chase in the ice hotel -- lots of action and whatnot. In fact, I thought the movie was so good, I'm hoping to see it again. ^_^ Well, it wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, but it was great nonetheless. SaiyanPrincessX
I saw it last night and I'd have to say I was pretty impressed too. This was by far better than the last Bond movie. Lots of action, which did look pretty realistic.
Guest Matt
I saw it yesteray. It was pretty good. Not the best Bond, but not the worst. The "laser" made it too Austin Powers like. lol
Solo Tremaine
I don't know. I saw it earlier today, and I don't think the Bond films mean as much to me as they did. It was good, and seeing it in the cinema was amazing, but they're a bit boring, really. Once you've seen one then you don't really need to see the others unless you want to see how they change the near-death scene or whatever. That said, I did enjoy a lot of the one-liners and the sword-fighting. I do a lot of that myself and seeing it in a film, let alone a Bond film, is great. When I first heard of the 'invisible car' concept, I thought it sounded pretty rubbih. Sort of along the lines of 'I've got rocket shoes!', or something like that. But it actually worked fairly well in the film. Of course, everything should be taken with a pinch of salt. If you don't take it too seriously it's good fun. The end was good. Possibly the best Bond ending, in my opinion.
Spikey
This is the only James Bond movie I haven't saw. From what I have heard from people, I would say it'll be quite good. I am going to see it here soon...
Gavin
Warning spoilers Well I saw it yesterday evening 23/11/02 and I have to saw I agree with Matt, not the best Bond film but not the worst either. I though that the fact that the evil guy in it Col. Moon had been genetically altered was kinda crumby but the cars and the ladies in it were well cast (the ladies) and great looking (the cars). The plotline at the start was excellent but got a bit worse as it went on apart from the fact that Agent Frost was evil, which made the film alot more realistic. The fact that General Moon tried to stop hsis son from starting a war was also good, as was James being made a POW. Overall the plotline is the best of the last three (tomorrow never dies, the world is not enough and Die another Day) but lacks the plot that made Goldeneye as big a hit The Action in it was well directed especially the sword fight between bond and Moon, this was really good as was the ice car chase by Zao after bond, overall the action surpassed all his previous films by a mile . Overall I'd rate it a seven because someparts of the storyline and the plot left you wondering, ok how the hell did that happen
Nimrod
I'm an incredibly big 007 fan and it pains me to say that I haven't seen this movie yet. Actually, I would have seen it but I got sick this past week (damn asthma).

Juu
As a korean... I'd like to note a few errors they had about the language, and stats they sorta... mistook. 1) The 38th paraell doesn't divide the two countries anymore!!! It hasn't for 50 years!! *grumble* 2) No scorpions in Korea, at all. 3) The north koreans aren't all so... brutal/evil. We have reletives stuck up there, ya know! ><; 4) The mis-pronounced a few korean words... which was pretty entertaining. (I couldn't even understand what they were saying) ------ Except for a few bloopers... the movie was awesome. It had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. And, of course, the car scene was sooo kewl!!!

Juu
lol. It was still very exciting. Those few mistakes didn't effect anything at all about the movie's quality to me. ^^ My dad kept teasing me after the movie, I kept jumping each time they shot something. ^^;;;
Charles
I begrudgingly saw the movie with a group of friends. Like Syk3, I thought that Goldeneye was a good Bond flick, but found the follow-ups intolerable. Die Another Day is plagued by predictability, cheesy special effects (like the surfing scene, for instance), and a collection of weak one-liners. But despite the aforementioned shortcomings, I not only managed to remain awake during the movie, but enjoyed myself as well. The opening music video and theme were excellent. Madonna's theme was surprisingly memorable, although her role as a fencer was not. I mean, she was in the movie for a paltry minute. Her line about cock fighting was nice, but other than that, get out of my movie, Madonna. Wasn't it funny how similar Bond has become to his spoofs? If you think about it, Die Another Day, has much in common with the Austin Powers movies. It just demonstrates the silliness plaguing the series now. While I prefer the upstart XXX series by far over the aged Bond franchise, I've got to admit that it still has some life remaining in its old bones. Having Bond get captured and tortured for fourteen months was a healthy dose of originality and a step in the right direction; it's really daring, and I would like to see more steps like this in future films. Overall, I'd say that Die Another Day might just barely nudge out Goldeneye.

She had a brief converstation with James Bond, and was not used throughout the remainder of the movie.
Solo Tremaine
I've been a fencer for seven years, and I can honestly say that was nowhere near Olympic standard, what they were doing. Not that you'd expect it from actors with a few weeks training. And those broadswords were too light. They woulnd't have been able to move them that quickly if they were real. If it was a replica, it'd break. But meh, it was fun. I never thought I'd see swords in Bond. It has the worst theme I've ever heard, though. David Arnold didn't like it. She isn't meant for Bond themes.
Shinobi
THIS FILM KICKED ÁSS! I loved the ice car chase seen, that was so cool, people were saying it was slow to get into action...NO IT WASNT!
