G/S/B Master
Gouf, what's the effect of Obliesk?
Alexander
If counter cards aren't stronger than Exodia, than what's the purpose of this conversation? Glorifying Exodia? BTW, Ouija Board is much harder than Exodia, IMHO. It's obvious what your plan is once you activate Ouija Board (D), and even though it works by itself, each Ouija peice uses up your precious M/T slots, so as time passes, it gets much harder to protect yourelf and the board. One De-Spell in the right place will kill a Ouija Board strategy for good.
gouf
Oblisk effect is Attack: 4000. Defense: 4000. The player shall sacrifice two bodies to God of Obelisk. The opponent shall be damaged, and the monsters on the field shall be destroyed. what that means if when he is played if you have 2 monsters left over, you can sacrifice those two monsters and activate the special effect, which will instantly destroy all monsters, and opponent will instantly take 4000 damage no matter what. spike speigel
so, hold on....if you summon Exodia, you automatically win? Is that how it works? if it, it would explain why it's the unstoppable exodia, because its attack power isn't that great. and as for obeliesk's power all I can say is.........wow. Hyper
To win, you don't need to summon Exodia, just have the pieces in your hand. Infact if you have all the pieces on the field, you won't win. Only if it is in your hand.

Raiha
*covers face with hands* Okay, this officially borders on complete stupidity. *cough* gouf. Why ask? Solo Tremaine
I'm inclined to agree with Raiha here. It's easy enough to find out by running a simple search on Google. It doesn't take much. And any other questions about cards should really go in the Yu-Gi-Oh CARD Advice Thread In answer to your question: The God of Obelisk Level: 10 Attack: 4000 Defense: 4000 This requires two monster sacrifices to summon, and I think it means that you can destroy all of the opponent's monsters on the field and then do 4000 damage to them. Which is pretty strong. Saint Dragon - God of Osiris Level: 10 Attack: X000 Defense: X000 X stands for the number of the cards in the player's. Whenever your opponent plays a summon or a special summon monster then if its attack is above 2000, they get reduced by 2000, and if not they are destroyed. Also, This Monster's attack and defense strengths are each equal to 1000 times the number of cards in its controller's hand. Which is also pretty strong. The Sun of God Dragon Level: 10 Attack: ???? Defense: ???? This Monster's attack and defense strengths are equal to the total respective attack and defense strengths of the Monsters sacrificed to summon it. Lots of effects for this one: 1.Ra can attack during the same turn that it is Special Summoned. 2.Pay all but 1 of your Life Points. Increase Ra's attack and defense strengths each by the number of Life Points you paid in this way. 3. Pay 1000 Life Points. Destroy 1 of your opponent's Monsters on the Field. Which is again pretty strong. You can make up your own mind as to which is the strongest.
Hyper
Ra has a lot of powerful effects. Easy to win the game with. He's probably the power houuse of the God cards. It is going to be pretty strong with its tribute effect. The second effect (That Solo numbered) is easily the move for automatic victory. Hence the comic book name, the 1 Turn Kill. Osiris can be very handy. Just get rid of the opponents strong monster with Lightning Impact (The move with -2000/-2000) and your opponent can't play anything while Osiris blows through. Obelisk is probably the easiest to use. But it needs five monsters to tribute for its great effect. Although with a 4000/4000 monster on the field, getting two more monsters shouldn't be that hard to get. (Each God card requires three sacrifices)
Kinetic
Imagine if you used Ra's effect, where you go down to one life point. Now, your life points would definately be lower than your opponent's, so strap on a megamore and there you go, like 16,000 attack. Hyper
Yeah but only for one turn. The rulings of the God cards states that Magic and Trap cards are only effective for one turn on the God Card. So if someone countered used Spellbinding Circle, it would noly last one turn. Although it is pretty unclear, with the information given to me, that would also apply to cards like Raigeki. You can destroy a God card with Raigeki, but then after that turn it should be brought back to the field. Although that is just an educated guess on those ever-vague God Card rulings. gouf
that is correct if you kill a god card by the effects of a monster or magic or trap the die for one turn and then are brought back
DeathBug
Originally posted by Rei If Exodia's attack is infinite then how can these new cards beat it because their infinite?
On the show, they said that for dramatic effect. Because the monsters on the show physically appear, Exodia had to show up on the field like normal monsters. Again, it's for dramatic effect that he bothers to fight; he'll win every fight he's in, because those are the rules. Isis and Kaiba said the God Cards are stronger than Exodia, but that's also dramatic exageration. It has no relevance to the actual card game, and I doubt there will be an episode where Obilisk stomps Exodia, particularly because Yugi no longer has Exodia. In the card game, you can have all three God cards on the field, but if your opponent has the Exodia pieces in their hand, they still win. So to answer your question, the new cards shouldn't be able to beat Exodia, and if they do the show is innacurate. But like I said, I doubt it will come to a clash between them. (Yugi also said that the Gate Guardian is in the class of Exdia, and he was half right; they're both in the class of "pain in the butt monsters to use!") G/S/B Master
The combined Exodia promo Hypershadow said, could it be any chance named "Ultimate Exodia"? The god cards are virtually impossible to destroy. The only way to get them to be destroyed are:.... If your opponent has for example Ra and Obelisk.Use CHange of Heart on Obelisk, make Obelisk attack Ra.....If 3 BEWD was sacrificed to make Ra,then Ra's attack points would be 9000.It'll take away 5000 Life Points to do this stunt. But at least 1 God card is not coming back alive after my turn.Or just use the other way around....but Ra will destroy your monster card anyways. I have a Question to ask,if you use reborn the monster on Obelisk,do you ahve to sacrifice 3 monsters to summon it and 2 more monster to use it's destructive effect?Or just sacrifice 2 monsters?
