James had finished up inspecting the body and now he was at the mouth of a cave in the forest. From inside, he could here people. "I think Paranormal, inc. is in there." James said to Juan. "Stay here, I'll go check it out." With that, he walked into the cave. He drew his colt .45 and loaded it. Ahead, he could see light. In the light there were 4 people and what looked like a creature of some sort. Suddenly, the people all spun around and stared right at James. "Who are you?" one of them asked. "I can answer that for you, Alex." Racoon said. "He is James Harper." "So, you remember me, Racoon?" James said. "I'm kinda surprised. Anyway, I'm agent James Harper of the United States governmental task force against the paranormal." "Well then, let me introduce you to my crew. The boy is my assistant, Alex. The elf is Aiden, and the vampire is Franz." Racoon informed him. "How do you know him?" Aiden asked Racoon. James answered for racoon. "It's a long story. He can tell you later because right now, we have to kill this thing." As he said it, he pointed to the chubracabras. BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! James shot it 3 times. "That was unnessecary!" Alex shouted. "It's already injured!" "So?" James replied. "Now you can tell them the story, Racoon."

[color=crimson]Their auras continued to dance, becoming visable to the naked eye. Ken looked her in the eye lovingly, and smiled at her, silently. Words werent needed right now... they both knew what they felt...

The water began to ripple from their powers, and a slow wind blew through the cavern as the flow of mana began to increase with their auras. Finally, breaking the silence, Ken spoke..

[b]Ken[/b]: Your boss is quite charming. Hehe..[/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]"He is not my boss. He has no power over me."

Ken sat up and looked at her....she was serious. But an equal to Satan held no sway over a simple Dragouret girl? She looked at him and grinned playfully.[/i]

"Why not?"

[i]She rose to her feet and moved out of the cavern....he followed...still wondering why she didn't just tell him already. Then he blinked....starlight....reflecting off of the surface of the lake. Tarlain was putting several floating candles into the water....gently lighting them with the tips of her fingers. When they were all lit, she turned to face him, mouth slightly open, eyes tilted upwards at him.

"I don't know why he can not control me."[/i]

"You can't be as holy as you appear."

[i]"I am not, but he is chaos, and I am joy. That I know for sure. Whatever you can make of it, let me know."[/i][/COLOR]

[color=crimson][b]Ken[/b]: I heard once that Dragourets speak literally when they seem to be speaking a metaphor- Are you literally joy?

[b]Tarlain[/b]: [i]You could say that..[/i]

[b]Ken[/b]: Mmm. So without one of your bloodline, this dimension wouldnt exist. I see.

[b]Tarlain[/b]: [i]You arent as slow as you act.. sometimes.[/i]

She grinned at him, and he shook his head slowly at her..

[b]Ken[/b]: God once said that there were bloodlines he created especially to keep this whole dimension together. I guess you're one of them. Mmm. So how are you going to keep your bloodline going?[/color]

[Raiha]

[cOLOr=royalblue][i]"How do you think stupid?"

She smiled at him and leaned forward, kissing him softly. His eyes opened, then closed.

"That would work..."

"Are all Asura's so slow in the uptake?"

"Not exactly...."

"Then shut up and kiss me."[/i][/COLOR]

[Domon]

[i]Aiden clenched his jaw angrily, he couldn't believe the nature of this man, shooting the monster when all Paranormal Inc wanted was to keep the creature contained and study it, and now their only live adult specimen was dead. Aiden couldn't contain his anger anymore, he drew his rapier and pointed it directly at the man's throat.[/i]

Aiden: Just who the hell do you think you are? Mr. James Harper, i can't believe the nerve you have, we were going to study how this creature behaved and acted and now you've ruined it. If so we would've told the people around here what to do. I can't believe you!!!

Raccoon: Aiden put the sword down.

[i]Aiden reluctantly withdrew his rapier and just backed off still giving this James Harper a stone cold stare.[/i]

Aiden: (In Elven language.) You stupid son of a....

Alex: Shhhh. (Whispering) I know you don't like him but don't say anything right now.

Aiden: Sorry.

[color=crimson]Ken thought about it for a moment, then kissed her gently, carresing her cheek with his hand. He had fallen in love... something he had sworn to never do.. He reached down with his other hand and held her to him, silently enjoying the moment. The wind blew through the area, as if celebrating the two..

She placed her hands on his chest, and both of them seemed to glow for a moment, perhaps their auras- Ah. Their auras came into veiw, dancing between them, wisping around each other, and finally molding into one single large aura between the two of them..[/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]He held her in his arms, content. They had consumed one another, heart and soul.....she closed her eyes, once more a child. Under a low hanging moon, the two slept deeply. Tired, but satisfied.

Ken awoke several hours later to the feeling of her hands plucking delicately at his mind...like brushing the strings of a harp. His eyes opened completely and he looked at her. She smiled at him and leaned back, withdrawing from his psyche.[/i]

"What was that for?"

[i]She smiled innocently up at him.

"What was what for?"

He gave her the "look" and she grinned. Then she placed her hands on her stomach and looked back at him.

"Have you ever been a father? Because if you haven't, start practicing now."

Ken's jaw went into free fall.[/i][/COLOR]

[color=crimson][b]Ken[/b]: Whoa... That's a large load to put on a person who hates mornings.

Ken silently smiled at the thought of having a kid, and judged that it wouldnt be so bad. He looked at her, then at her stomach, and then to the ground, where he started to laugh.

[b]Ken[/b]: I guess your bloodline isnt in much danger anymore... Haha.

He was exuberent, happy, joyous. Like a child almost. He hoped up and stretched from side to side, and looked to the sky and silently thanked the God that had kicked him out of heaven only mellina earlier. He turned back to Tarlain...

[b]Ken[/b]: Tell me.. How do you know so soon?[/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She smiled faintly....then looked up to the moon.

"Give me 4 months to complete mitosis, then about 20 to pass on magicks, traits, and other nuances of being a Dragouret."[/i]

"That long?!?"

[i]"It's only two years. Don't panic. I'll be just fine."[/i]

"Is this the norm for Dragourets?"

[i]"No, usually it's about 3 or 4...depending on the family line, but since you're an Asura, things will speed up quite a bit." She smiled and placed his hands on her stomach. He felt something moving inside of her, a small pulse of mana, turning ever so softly. Ken smiled.[/i]

"She's happy."

[i]"Yes...she is strong. And we will name her Lethe."[/i][/COLOR]

[color=crimson]Ken placed his hand on her stomach, and felt something moving around. Lethe was indeed happy, and alive and well from all the movement.

[b]Ken[/b]: If I can help in any way... I will... you know that...

Ken let out a smile that only a new dad could shine out to the world, and he silently nodded to Tarlain. His Aura shined out in his happyness, blinding all creatures except for Tarlain with its brilliance..[/color]

[Galvatron]

" Well Senior Ricardo no more Chubcabras around here some one killed them all off ." Raccoon said very unhappy. The group head back too the the ranch and said ferwell to Senior.Ricardo. Hours later they found them self back at the airport and soon to board the plane back too Paranormal Inc HQ in New York. Beep Beep " Hey every one sleep in once we get back to HQ because we got a new mission in Egypt."

[Domon]

[i]"Egypt? Oh great more hot weather. Oh well comes with the job." Aiden sat down in his chair and took his pack and threw it down on the chair next to him and he proceeded to close his eyes. After about a five hour flight Aiden awoke to Alex's consistant shoving so as to wake him up. Aiden opened one eye and looked at Alex.[/i]

Aiden: Time to wake up?

Alex: Yep.

Aiden: Uggghhhhh. Sleepy, need something to wake me up.

Alex: Here try this cappichino.

Aiden: [i]takes the cup and sips it.[/i] ACK!! That's awful! How do you humans drink such disgusting things??

Alex: Actually its not that bad. Its quite tasty.

Aiden: Thanks but i think once we get off of here and get back to HQ i'll get something to drink then.

Alex: Okay.

[i]The group stepped off the plane and headed to their cars. Aiden would be riding with Alex.[/i]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She sighed and curled up tighter, hoping the pains in her stomach would subside with time. She had given birth before, but that had been centuries ago....Ken looked at her slumbering form. It had been almost a month since they had come to Atenae, and her stomach was rounding out well.[/i]

"Are you alright?"

[i]"Mm, I'm okay. She's very active. Almost too active."[/i]

"Kicking already?"

[i]"Yeah...and she's a big girl. I suppose your demon side had something to do with that...."[/i]

"Sorry."

[i]"Naw, it's okay, I don't mind. She's a healthy one of course....and although I have the feeling that she'll turn out something like a Chimera, I'm not going to be upset about it."[/i][/COLOR]

[color=crimson][b]Ken[/b]: Well. We can only wait and see- But I think she'll be beautiful, just like her mother.

Ken closed his eyes and smiled. It was a wonderful night, the weather was behaving well- He was having the happiest times of his long life here in Atenae, with her. He honestly did wonder why she ever left this wonderful place. The slowly lulling sound of the waterfall made him quickly fall into a comfortable postion to get back to sleep...[/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She dreamed. Pain, rising and falling in her stomach, mingled with her subconcious...and she saw Him once more. This time, he was kind and caring, a far cry from what he appeared to all others as. She smiled and held out her arms for a hug and a gentle kiss. But he looked away.

"What is wrong Haddah? Have I done something bad?"

"No, you have not my sweet. I just don't like you getting married...and leaving me..."

"Oh come on Haddah, I'm not leaving you!"

"You don't understand. When you gave birth before, it was not yours. You never put your arms around him. But this time...you will. And that's not good. When your child is 5, her powers will manifest themselves. And then, either you or she, must cease to be."

"I know....I understand completely. I love Ken, I really do. But I want this world to be...almost as much as I want to be with you. When I am gone, will you love Lethe like you loved me?"

"Of course. She is eternal, like you, and like me. When you cease to be, you will merge with me. And you will be given the ethric for yourself."

"Are you sure?"

"I already talked it over with Lucifer. He's agreed. Of course you'll have Agnia to contend with, but you'll whip him head over heals."

"I love you....thank's for doing this for me."[/i][/COLOR]

[Galvatron]

Alex and Aiden got into to the car. " Okay let's get back to HQ and get some sleep, oh wait im hungry pizza sounds good what about you Aiden." Alexs waits for a reply. Meanwhile inside of Raccoons car he had another message on his cell phone. " Well it looks like it's the Cult of Zion that are in Egypt, Alex won't like this one."

[Domon]

Aiden: Pizza sounds good. I could use some food.

Alex: Okay, i know a great place on 29th street.

Aiden: Alright. Any ideas on why we're going to Egypt?

Alex: Nope.

[i]While the two are driving Alex's cell goes off and he quickly answers, Aiden looks over and he listens in, he hears Raccoon's voice and what is going on in egypt, some cult called The Cult Of Zion has become active. Aiden looks at Alex's face which has gone pale.[/i]

Aiden: Alex why does this Cult have you looking like this?

Alex: I'll explain once we get our pizza.

[color=crimson]Ken slowly woke up as Tarlain dreamed. It was still around 4 AM, and he yawned groggily, stretching. He glanced over at Tarlain, whos mouth was moving in her sleep. Shrugging, he got a bit closer to her, and listened to her breathing.

The wind slowly blew through the area, and Tarlain shivered silently. He propped up on his elbow, and pulled her blanket over her- It had somehow slid down during the night. He slid back down with his head on his pillow, and listened to everything..

Tarlain was breathing at an accelerated rate, as if she was having a nightmare or a dream of some sort. The waterfall's sound never changed, its constant flow of water calmed your soul and spirit.. The wind rustled the plants nearby..

And slowly, his sleep returned to him..[/color]

[Galvatron]

The two wallked into the pizza resturant and Alex was ready to eat. " Hey Alex you want the same thing." said the Charlie the pizza boy.
" Yeah thats pepperoni, olives extra chesse and some red peppers."
Alex and Aiden sat at a table to wait for the pizza, Alex began to explain the Cult. " Okay it started about a year ago , I was wallking to my car when I ran into two Zion cult members who tried to recruit me into the cult. I said no then bang out of the shadows the rest of the cult appeared right infront of my eyes. Soon I found myself rescued by Raccoon and you know Paranormal Inc is formed and other stuff. Well in the early months of just me and Raccoon we had a long mini battle with the Cult of Zion. I busted some high leaders along with the so called possessed Zion leader AKA Raven. It was scary stuff with the cult they did some of the most uninmagenable things you could ever see a human do and I don't feel like tallking about that."

Alex looked pale untill the pizza came. " Pizza about time, pizza can take my mind off of things."

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She sighed and He hugged her gingerly, full of love for both her and the little life she held within her. With gentle movements, he quietly let her down and and brought her back to the land of the waking. She smiled and opened her eyes, Ken was watching her quietly.[/i]

"What did you see?

[i]"When I give birth, it's either Lethe or me. I choose Lethe."[/i]

"Wait. Do you mean, you will die?"

[i]"I will be transfigured, and have another form, on the ethric plane. Separated from mortals, but not sundered. Don't be sad."[/i]

"I....okay. I'll do my best."

[i]"We still have 7 years together, at least we're ready to cherish them. Together."

He smiled, consoled for her fate, and his. The two rose to their feet, Tarlain with some difficulty. This gigantic stomach of hers was getting in the way.[/i][/COLOR]

[color=crimson]Ken hugged her as they walked, headed twards the waterfall. Silently, he leaned down and washed his face, waking up completely in an instant. He shook his head a few times, getting it dry again, and hopped up again, stretching.

The sun slowly came over the horizon, lighting up the land around them, and he silently stared at the orange hue the sky took within seconds. It was a beautiful sight to see, and Ken wished that it would never end..[/color]

[Domon]

[i]"Hmm. Possessed people, sound familiar, i remember back in the day when my parents told me of witchs that lived in Oregon and just spirits that all of a sudden possessed people because those people were in fact agents of the dark lord. Hmm."[/i]

Aiden: Hey Alex i was just thinking but i think those people in that cult are actually agents of the dark lord or something like that. Maybe they tapped into a powerful source of dark energy.

Alex: You maybe right. Right now lets just eat.

Aiden: Okay. Toss me a slice.

[Raiha]

[cOLOr=royalblue]"It's so beautiful up here."

[i]"Yes....I am glad Ochkik Haddah has prepared a place for me. It is better that way."[/i]

"But is it the best way?"

[i]"It is the only way. I would never destroy my own flesh and blood."[/i]

"But you have had children before?"

[i]"I never put my arms around them, or the men that fathered....if you could even use that word...." She closed her eyes and rubbed her face, trying to get rid of bad memories. Ken put his arms around her comfortingly, and she smiled. Ghost thoughts vanishing in the morning light.[/i][/cOLOR]

[color=crimson][b]Ken[/b]: But... I dont want you do be gone forever....

Ken silently frowned at that thought, and held her as close as he could to himself. He knew that she would have to die for her daughter to keep her bloodline going, and that most likely her mother had to do the same.

He nodded silently, and smiled at her a bit. Somehow, he knew that she wouldnt be gone from him forever, but he was still somewhat sad at that fact still. But he guessed it had to be done..

Silently, he closed his eyes... [/color]
