"Try me." James said calmly. Franz took aim. James readied himself. Franz bulled back the trigger. James moved to the side quickley. The bulled grazed his shoulder. He emptied the rest of the 5 shots in his revolver into franz's chin and then placed the gun back in it's holster. Franz jumped into the air and brought his fist down on James' head. James fell to the floor, hi head spun. Before he could recover, Franz kicked him in the chest. James caught his breath and then picked himself up. "Let me return the favor!" James snapped, punching Franz in the stomach 3 times. The vampire stumbled backwards and then raced forward at full force, ramming James in the chest.

Franz wrapped his arms around James, pinning his arms in place. James head butted Franz in the face, causing Franz to lose his grip, and now they began to circle each other....

As Ken and Tarlain sit by the fire there is a gust of wind and a man 6 feet tall with black and red hair appears. Above his shoulder, the first 2 feet of a greatsword are visible. The man speaks, his red eyes glinting.
"How touching, Ken. You probably don't remember a simple Daemon, though. I was a part of the rebellion. we were part of the same army. I have been wandering since the end of the Great War. Now I've found you......" The man smirks and looks to Tarlain. "allow me to introduce my self. I a Saraneth."

James flashed a quick smile and pulled a knife from his boot. He stuck it in Franz's chest and wacthed as franz fell to the floor, gasping. "That should keep you at bay for a while." James said as he climbed onto a mototrcycle hidden behind a fruit stand. He put on his red helmet and started ther motorcycle, leaving Franz in the dust. As James dissapeared into the horizen, Franz opened his eyes and pulled out the knife. "Good job, Harper. However, it would have worked better if you hadn't missed my heart." Franz whispered. He beagn to race down the street at a super human speed, chasing after James.

Franz continues running, he moves very fast, a blur to the human eye...as he slowly gains on Harper and the others....

[color=crimson][b]Ken[/b]: What the hell are you doing here Saraneth?

[b]Saraneth[/b]: Just.. Checking in.

[b]Ken[/b]: Leave here, immidiately. This is no place for you.

[b]Saraneth[/b]: Oh, but it is.

Ken slowly reached behind his back, unsheathing the Excaliber, and raising it, ready to strike at this foe.. Saraneth.. That name rang some sort of dark bell, but his memory simply wouldnt leave from where he had been in the story.

[b]Ken[/b]: Oh Goddamn it. Saraneth, I cant remember.. Who are you?[/color]

James and the others pulled up at the excavation site. "Here it is." James announced, taking his helmet off. Burke and Shen hoped out of the jeep. Stone, Gray, Senfor, and Nash followed. "Let's go." Nash said. "Alright, let's do this." Stone confidently said, loading his gun. Everyone pulled there guns out and loaded them. James lead the team down a hidden path to where Aiden and Alex were. He could see the two were standing over a tablet. James Held his gun out and announced his arrival. "Aiden, I believ you will now come with us." Aiden and Alex looked up to see James and the 6 other agents. "It's Harper!" Alex shouted. Aiden pulled out his rapier and jumped at James. "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Burke quickley jumped in front of James, only to have is armed sliced off. Burke fell to the ground, gasping in pain. "HOLY****! They got Burke!" Senfor shouted. Aiden finished off Burke and then moved on to Gray. She jumped over Aiden and then fired at him. 2 shots connected with his chest. Stone, Shen, Senfor, and Nash all opened fire. Aiden dodged some of the bullets and then ran his rapier through Senfor's chest. The agent collapsed into a bloody heap. James pulled out an electricaly charged steel coil and rapped it aroun Aiden. The elf strugled to to get free, but the charge was too much. "Now we got you." James said. A helicopter flew over head and dropped ropes down for each of the agents, who grabbed onto one. the ropes retracted, bringing them into the Helicopter, along with Aiden. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!" Alex shouted. He pulled out a gun and blew a hole through Gray's chest. The agent fell to the gorund, dead. The helicopter then flew off, towards town.

Saraneth bowed mockingly.
"I'm surprised, Ken. We fought side by side as the denizens of Heaven forced us beyond the Gate. You were by a fireball. You blacked out. I carried you out of that place and left you and your weapon on Earth. It seems that fireball affected your memory." Saraneth's voice has lost its mocking edge. it sounds more like an old friend who shows up and is spurned, hurt, almost.

[Domon]

Aiden: Let me go you, ACK!!

[i]Before Aiden could finish James kicked him square in the stomach, he leaned forward in pain and could feel blood coursing out of his chest wounds. He couldn't believe this, why would these people kidnap him like this.[/i]

Aiden: *coughing* What...Do...You..Want with me?

James: Oh just to make you one of our super soldiers.

Aiden: I'll never work for you.

James: Oh but you won't have a choice.

[i]James produced a syringe and tried to inject Aiden, but he managed to kick his hand away and he grabbed James arm with his legs and began to wrench it until it broke, Aiden stood up and managed to open the door.[/i]

Aiden: Its been nice but Good-Bye.

James: Stop him!

[i]Aiden saw them reach for their guns but before they could do anything Aiden had already bailed and was landing in the sand dunes and rolling down one. The helicopter flew on past and Aiden stood up and walked up the dune and he saw the campsite in the distance, about 2 miles away, he began to walk on towards the excavation site and just as he was on the outskirts of the excavation site he collapsed. Luckily Alex noticed Aiden's outline on the hill and he ran over to him. Aiden had passed out from his wounds and all he saw before he passed out was Alex running towards him.[/i]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]One of Tarlain's ears twitched involuntarily....she was angry. But, she knew she did not have the power to back up her fury, and willed herself to calmness. Lethe gave a swift kick to her ribs, feeling the same sort of anger her mother had.

"Lie still child....it will be alright."[/i]

Kenneth: ......

Tarlain: What is this?[/COLOR]

Saraneth noticed Tarlain whispering to herself and chuckled. "Good job Ken." He had a wide grin on his face, suggesting he knew more than he let on.

Sudddenly Franz sprints past Aiedn, and quickly catches up to the 'copter. He leaps, catching hold of one of the struts. He pulls himself up, so he can look in. He sees James and the other agents nursing various hurts and talking to each other. Then they notice him. Franz reaches inside his coat and pulls out a grenade. He pulls the pin and tooses it inside.
"See you in hell!"
Franz leaps away and lands safely.

[color=crimson][b]Ken[/b]: Thats how I ended up here? My god. My apologies for jumping to conclusions, you know how it is. I do remember a fireball and such... The pain. But I only remember you from before that, now that my memory is slowly returning.

Ken silently shook his head and sheathed his sword, looking at Saraneth silently. He smiled, and chuckled to himself at his idiocy and jumpyness.

[b]Ken[/b]: What brings you here? Just stopping by, or do you have some business?[/color]

Saraneth sits down and pokes the fire with a stick. "Me? I'm just lonely. Wandering around killing stuff gets old." He he laughs. "I finally realised that I needed to have some friends on this planet...'

[color=crimson][b]Ken[/b]: So how did you end up here? This is like... Athenae. The most secret place on the whole planet. Heck, i've only been here like twice in all these years.

[b]Saraneth[/b]: Well. I just kinda felt your mana and followed it up here.

[b]Ken[/b]: Huh. Well. Saraneth, this is Tarlain, the beautiful. Tarlain, this is Saraneth.[/color]

saraneth smiles and bows in the way of a 18th cenury courtier. "Pleaed to make your aquaintince. A child on the way too, i can sense another life in you...."

Franz heads back to the dig site and finds Aiedn and Alex. Aiedn is uncouncious, and Alex is trying to tend to him.
"I think we need to take the tablet and get back to PAranormal INC HQ, Alex."

"JUMP!!!!!!!!!!" James shouted. The crew immediatley dove out, landing on the sand dunes. The copter exploded, sending debris everywhere. "****!" James cussed. His anger was too much. He pulled uot his gun and loaded it. "THAT"S IT! I"LL SEE TO IT THAT PARANORMAL INC IS DESTROYED!"

[COLOr=royalblue]Mm, please do the world a favor and make your posts longer DuoMax.....thanks. And one more thing. My character does not use an audible voice to communicate. She either uses kything [telepathy] or a variety of sounds produced by animals. End of story.

[COLOr=purple][i]Tarlain was slightly irked that this unknown had intruded upon her territory...nevertheless, she nodded slightly. Lethe's energy sparked inside of her. She patted her stomach comfortingly and sat down quietly.

Tarlain: Welcome to Atenae.....

Ken: What is it?[/i]

Saraneth unslung his sword and placed it next to him. Intricate runes could be seen on its blade. THe fire was reflected off of it. Saraneth sighed and lay back. "It s odd. Somehow, now that I've found you, Ken. I feel more content." He looked over at Tarlain. "i'm sorry if you feel that I'm intruding. Its just my way, to go places uninvited..." he flicked some small twigs into the fire

" Franz who cares about the UFO just get back to base with Aiden, I wont let another partner die on me just...just like...forget it just get back HQ.", Alex took off in the other direction to find James but he would run into Raven and soon the two past will be reveald.
" Raven killed Ki and James almost killed Aiden, no one gets a way this time."

James had commanded the other 3 agents to rturn to base, and proceeded on trough the sand. Ahead of him, he could see Alex running trough the desert, alone. 'Perfect.' he thought. One on his own. It was great. he could kidnapp the kid, and demand the elf a ransom. James aimed his gun and wrapped his finger around the trigger. "I don't think so, James." a familiar voice said from behind. James truned to see Raccoon standing there, a gun in his hand. "Stay out of this, Raccoon." James commanded. He truned back to his target and fired at the sand at alex's feet. Alex jumped up, startled."What the hell was that?!" he looked around andthen saw James and Raccoon. "What's going on?" "Nevermind that. Find Raven, now!" Raccoon shouted. "He's right, this is between me and him." James said. Alex ran past the two, on int the desert. James and Raccoon aimed their guns at eachother's chest. "It's been a long time, Raccon." James said. "It sure has." Raccon replied. "I'm kinda surprised you remmeber me." "How could I forget my own cousin?" James asked. Raccon flashed a smile. James stared on. Then, two shots rang out, and the sound of two bodies hitting the sand could be heard.

Alex ran and ran untill he could not any more. " OH COME ON, Im sick of the games.", Alex kicked the sand on the hill untill his eyes cought a little outpost or some kind of camp site. Alex went down metal gear style hiding behind crates and anything else. There Alex can see some Cult of Zion members on patrol , Alex draws out his handgun and rushes right into a gun fight with the two on patrol.

The sounds of the dead bodies hit as the bullet hit them square in the chest. Alex jumped behind a crate as three members of the cult fired upon Alex. Alex shot back at them but he missed, the three only hit the crate as wood splinters came of the crate. " 1,2,3 take this .", Alex fired nailing the three as they fell onto the sand, running and fighting like a mad man on a mission he busted his way into the main tent were Raven was. Alex rushed with a good amount of speed behind him and gave Raven a shoulder block only to see Raven knocked off his feet and into the ground. " Get up Raven, get up so I can knock you back down !", Raven laughed as he got up but Alex had the upperhand in this fight, Alex kicked Raven in the gut and continued to lay a foot into the evil Raven. " THATS IT KILL ME ALEX!!", Raven got a hold of Alex's foot and got him unbalanced then Raven landed a hard blow to Alex he falls to his knees. Raven draws out his sword to get in the final blow of death. With the blade going for the neck of Alex, Alex rolls out of the way to get back on his feet. " RAVEN! lets do this hand to hand!", Rvaen looked at Alex," Sure thing old friend dont cry if I hurt you .", " To much talk ugly.".

The two bitter and old enemies traded blows, the two were both bloody and beatin, Raven hit a nice knee into the chest of Alex only to see Alex fall flat onto the sand of Egypt. " Nice guys finish last Alex let me put the cold blade of the sword into your already hurt chest!", Alex grins and shakes his head and in quick swift fashion way he draws out the handgun, fires his bullet as it hits Raven in the forehead. Raven falls to the ground but as he falls a dark image is outlined around Raven then in a voice that comes out of Ravens mouth," You can't kill Raven while I live in his body for one day the dark kings will rule once more.", Ravens wounds healed and he just vanished with the rest of the cult.

Alex bruised and bloody, just layed there untill some one helped him or he had enough rest to get back up." Raven you dirty punk you have the paranormal to let you stay a live one day longer." Alex falls a sleep.

James stood back up. His knees weren weak and his shirt was satined with blood. He clutched the bullet hole in his chest with his hand. He put his gun away and then pulled out a combat knife. "Now you die, Raccoon." James raised the knife above his haed. He was about to stab Raccoon when a horrible pain overcame him. He dropped the knife and fell to his knees. In front of him, he could see Raccoon stand. James fought the pain and stood up. The two stared into each others eyes. "Let's do this." James said, picking up his gun. Raccoon pulled his gun up from the sand. "Fine, buddy." The two raced for cover behind crates at opposite ends of the desert area. Each of them loaded their guns, and they began to fire at eachother from behind the crates.
