Mkay, so of all the genres of RPG's you've played in, you probably have found a particular genre of RPG that fits your style of RPG'ing. Of all the types of RPG's you've been in, which are you best at, and which do you feel fits your style of RPG the best, and why.

Note: You must explain why!! ^_- (just to prevent one-word posting)

o_o That's actually pretty amazing...
I get confused even if I'm in three rpg's at once. It makes sense that you're so talented in rpg'ing after being in like, thousands of RPG's ^^;;

104 RPGs that I can count. Yes, call me obsessive. After I read you asking, I found out.

I have no idea what my RPG style is. I'd probably say ask someone else who woud know my style, but I think it's probably fantasy style. I don't know anything about Digimon, very little about Pokemon, and don't much like stuff in the future. However, I also like the "other". ^.^"

Yup. Talking about you. As for the Romance novel RPG, I can see it now...

Flash: Oh (insert name), I don't want to lose you. I love you so much it kills me. And when I saw you with him, I almost burst with misery...

????: Oh, Flash, I would never betray you with him.

???? Sobs and throws herself into Flashes arms, crying hysterically for what they'd almost lost through misunderstandings...

Erm...yeah. Going to be quiet now.

I like to think that I can adapt, but my favourite type of RPG would always have to be the Surreal Medieval. (ie RoH)

I don't mind the odd Futuristic either, but I tednto stick to the past and present...

While you're at it Rae...see how many RPG's I've been in o.O

Well, everyone knows I haven't been RPing lately but I can fit into different types of stories. I tend to sway towards the futuristic style but I've done humor, medival, just different kinds of stories ever since I signed on. I kinda like all the flashy electronic gear and ideas people think up of.

But now I guess I suck at RPing and I don't have as much time to spend as I did about a year ago. *Kicks the ground...*

Hrmm... it is hard to say really. I have only been heavily involved in a handful of RPG's. Most of which have been DragonBall related. I seem to have a hard time finding worthwhile RPG's for me. I try to catch them when I can. I do not think I have any one specific genre I do. I just look for things that I am familiar with, so I at least have some foundation to build the story upon.

It has become more and more rare these days for me to find a decent RPG...

Well back on the topic... *stops laughing...*

I like Serious types, doesn?t matter what its about, I don?t really like ones set in the past.

Although I got sick of that one-day so I made bordom101 - The Funinlesingnessingly. (Or some thing like that.)

I haven't been in to many rpg's but I have been in some for extreme long term. (Eg 1 year 7 months and longer.)

I like forum based over IRC based rpg's but that's just because I'm used to them.

I usually find myself starting fantasy RPGs. I think most of mine have been fantasy/tech combined.

*sighs* This is one occasion where I miss the old days though. I haven't been in a really compelling, well-though-out RPG for quite some time.

Having said that, Maverick Hunters: Personification is great. I always like the MH RPGs because the characters already have these wonderful backgrounds...and there are always new possibilities to explore.

I wish my Zelda RPG hadn't died. <.<

I was thinking of starting a new one, but I don't know...the idea that it could die a slow and painful death makes me not want to start one in the first place.

I guess this is why I always urge people to just wait...and develop the RPG ideas as much as they can before they start it. I really want to see more Maverick Hunter/Meteo City type RPGs come along. I liked them...they always had good RPers, very adaptive stories and plenty of history.

Anyway, that's a bit beside the point...but I thought it was worth mentioning.

You and me both. :bawl: I really liked it too....

Anyways, I believe that I'm more accustomed to Fantasy RPGs more than anything else. I find that if you make or play as an existing character that you can relate to, it's really fun to RP. I haven't much lately, unless you count BB, but I'm planning on starting on RPG based on the manga I'm writing. It'll probably wither and die in two weeks, though. >_<
