His back was pressed against the nearest building's wall..

Silence and sweat were the only external screams to the game of Chess he was playing with the Assassains. The blade on Apocalypse Darkness was dripping with his most recent out manuever of the shadowy warriors, but right now he was being hunted- And by more than one of them.

A yell piereced his dreamworld of thought, and Sennen stepped to the side as one of the Assassains lunged foreward with a short sword, dripping with one of the most potent poisons that was ever discovered by an unfortunate soul.

With a sift foreward motion, the assassain's arm was several yards away, still firmly holding to its would be savior of a weapon. Rotating the direction of the blade 180 degrees, Sennen slashed through the middle of the demon, its upper half sliding off in a gross display of the Anatomy of it's body.

Sennen silently walked through the streets, resting Apocalypse Darkness solemnly on his shoulder. Time was not on his side, not anymore..

Sennen: I should never have gotten involved in this blasted war in the first place...

Leaping onto a roof, Sennen slumped down into a sitting postion, closeing his eyes.

And he waited.

Medra: *grimace* The hell was that?

Tarlain: A silver kiss.

She pursed her lips at him and winked. He groaned and slapped one hand to his forehead......

Medra: I should've-

Tarlain: There is no way to counter it. Come with me, back to the waterfall.

She rose to her feet and quietly levitated....he looked at her like she was insane.....and she smiled.

Tarlain: You're afraid to change?

Medra struggled as his muscles seemed on fire, his body raising in a full push-up position. His right knee came up underneath him just as his arms gave out. He felt just as weak as when he was created. He remembered the headache that first plagued him, which was shortly followed by the spasms. He remembered quite well the feeling of being bare and exposed to the world with no means of protection.

At this point in time, he vowed never to be so foolish like the action he had displayed about a half an hour ago.

Finally summonding the sheer willpower to bear the pain of a thousand years of torture, Medra took to his feet. He was shocked to find that his wings would not open; he did not have the strength to open them. Plus, his left wing was sprained, or worse.

Medra stared dully and not fully awake at Tarlain. To his uttmost suprise, he found that he was staring primarily at her chest. He shook he head silently, breaking his locked gaze, but just as soon fell over again, loosing what little coordination that he had recovered.

A few minutes later, he limped along after Tarlain through the open plain that neighbored the forest. The waterfall was easily a mile away, and Medra was loosing more and more strength with each step.

They duo were around fifty metres from the lake when Medra completely collapsed and cursed heavily. Tarlain turned around with a sugary-sweet smile on her face.

Tarlain: "Oh come on. It's only about one hundred feet from here..."

Medra: "...F*ck...you..." :sleep:

Valen tried to get up and fly, but it was futile. The broken wing stopped Valen from being able to fly, and with his weapon gone, he had to rely on basic skills he was taught when he was about a thousand or so years younger. He wasn't too happy that he couldn't fly. He also just hoped he wasn't attacked, for the attacker's sake...

Seconds later, he stood back up, glared at where the portal had been, then glanced at the gate. This was not good. He did the only thing he could... He looked for a pile of rubble and went behind it. It looked as though he was hiding out from the battle, which he was... until he could think of something. He saw a few demons fly overhead at a remarkable speed. They were headed towards the temple. Sure they could hold off the ones already there, but Valen couldn't just give up... He did the first thing that came to his mind...

He gleamed at this opportunity to do something he hadn't done in over a thousand years... Valen focused all his remaining energy. His hands went out, facing the gate and demons. His hands glowed crimson as orbs with a golden veil began forming in front of his open palms. It was his Crimson Blast, with a bit of a Holy basis in the orbs. They shot from his hands like a gatling gun -- Rapid. They hurled towards the demons, giving off a happy whistle as they flew through the air. One blast shot through six demons and destroyed them on contact, then exploded, destroying eleven more demons. Hundreds of these orbs were flying at the demons faster than they could react.

Valen had helped stop this wave of demons, but for how much longer, he could not say. He could tell the demons were coming yet again. He took this chance to glance around for his weapon. He didn't see it. He ducked behind the rubble once again, hoping to recharge himself...

Valen: Damn... will this chaos never end!? ... And where the hell did that damned demon throw my weapon!?

Tarlain: No thanks...I don't feel like it.

She looked at him, then hoisted him over her shoulders and carried him the rest of the way. Once they reached the waterfall, she bent down, then shot across the surface of the water and pushed through the grotto. The inside of the waterfall was warmer than usual, thanks to the Eternal Flame. She smiled and rolled him onto her bed.

Then she reached into her ever changing cupboard and drew out several different magicks. Stirring them with one hand, she turned the pages of her spell boook with the other.

Tarlain: Hmm, mind control, complete humiliation....hmmm....mmm....so many to choose from.

He stired and said something she couldn't make out.

Tarlain: Go to sleep. Jah knows you need it.

Medra's mind was whirling like a vortex of pure evil. Thoughts and memories floated inwardly in his dreams. Still in a light sleep, he almost could swear he heard Tarlain actually talking, but no, it was merely his imagination. But he also did hear several spell names rattled off. He couldn't tell whether it was insanity setting in, or just pure exaustion.

But he still didn't trust the Dragon girl. Something about the flirty attitude that surfaced underneath her saturine nature made the Demon God suspect trickery and deciet. He would think more about it after he had the strength to stand up once more however...

OOC: *Bows head* I accept my punishment with good grace and will never God Mod again. :)
And people... I'm not a demon, I'm a Fallen Angel.
-----------
IC: Damn that Angel... Damn it to Hell... How I would love to get him down there. Perhaps I would cast him into the Tourture Chamber. Perhaps I would imbue him into the machine... Perhaps I would just kill him. I stood up slowly, grasping the rapidly healing wound on my wrist. Dirty his coat. I would not waste such a precious thing on him. I had planned to take the blood. I felt the small surge of pain as the wound completely closed. I shook it to make sure the blood had stopped flowing.

Ryan- "The city is falling..." I had taken up talking to myself recently. I was the only person I could trust. Me and my Master. Soon He would be released. One Sigul in the city had fallen. Two left now... The newcomer and the one here.
Something was happening in my mind. A dark cloud had been fogging my thoughts. Perhaps I was becoming more demon-like. Maybe I would gain more powers. Maybe...

Ryan- "Maybe..." I opened a portal and walked in. Where was I going? I didn't seem to be in control of my action. What was happening?!

Karina tried a different route back using the rugged terrain to her advantage. It was hard to hit her, almost impossible. She suddenly skidded to a stop, something had caught her eye. It was a blade laying in the middle of the path. She recognised it immediately. For it was Valen's IK.

Karina: Oh Lord no! ...Please don't let this mean he's dead...

She aproached and picked up the Katana, she didnt know what else to do, and slid it into her sheath for safekeeping, until she couls turn it in or whatever. She paused there for a few moments before moving along again. She had to get back, Karina hurried as fast as she could back towards the battle, while dodging enemy fire at the same time. She didnt want to fight, fighting was stupid... She suddenly heard the battlecrys of airbourne demons comming from the skies behind her, she turned around to watch them come. She was a lone Archangel, and this was a large troop of demons, she couldn't take them all on and survive, she drew a deep breath and braced herself. Just before they cleared the remaining wall of Jerusalem, about a hundred crimson orbs started pelting the demons at an amazeing speed, the demons didn't stand a chance as they were hit and instantly killed on contact with these strange orbs of crimson light. Karina stood frozen to her spot as she watched as each and every flying demon in that perticular troop met it's demise. Karina was fazed for just a few moments after the last demon had been killed.

Karina: What... the heck was that?

She was going to investigate, despite the possible danger of being hit by those... things. Still she wasnt frightened. She spread her sandy coloured wings and was over the wall mere moments later. She quickly scanned the ground, she didn't see anything down there, so she landed lightly upon the bloodstained ground, she couldnt see anything, except piles of rubble, and dead creatures.

When Medra woke up, the first thing he saw was Tarlain's face, a few feet away from him. She was sitting down on the stone floor, legs crossed, hands pressed together. As soon as he noticed her, she rose to her feet and walked over to him. She placed a hand on his cheek.

Tarlain: Feeling alright?

Medra: .......what were you doing?

Tarlain: Making this for a friend...

She opened her hand and revealed a simple red garnet. It glittered coldly, suffusing the room with a crimson glow. Tarlain closed her hand and looked at him again.

Tarlain: If I was going to hurt you, I could've easily done so while you were out.

Medra: ....

He opened his mouth to protest, then closed it again.

OOC: Damn...now there goes the little character development I had planned. -_-;;;
-- -- -- -- --
Medra took to his feet forcefully, but his body did sway just a little. He was still be bit weak, but nowhere near what he was before. The cuts and scraps along his face had healed by now, but still, his wings refused to open, so Medra simply got rid of them.

With a sickening snap, his wings curled up and into each other. They molded together, as blood poured from them like water from a waterfall. Two slits, near the base of his wings, opened and also gushed a darkened crimson blood, as another series of snaps and cracks rang out, echoing the grotto. The huge, bat-like wings shrank away into nothing in the holes that had been etched in Medra's back.

After a few seconds, the gashes healed over, the flesh underneath Medra's skin seemingly thrown together from the sides, and skin slowly crawled over, and left two fresh scars, more wounds for Medra to tell tales about.

Finally done, Medra glanced over to Tarlain, who's head was cocked slightly to the left in a child-like amusement. But that all changed when Medra came less than two inches from her face, his mouth twisted about in a snarl. Tarlain snarled back, until she was thrown bodily into the wall of her makeshift home, Medra's right forearm pinning her against the stone across her neck.

Medra: "Listen closely, and listen well. I will say this once; I am a Demon God. You could do little to harm me, girl. Furthermore, I know you're trying to corrupt me,...or...or something. You're trying to get close. The last person that got close to me tried to poison me. I hope, for your and your home's sake, that you don't make that same mistake."

Letting the Dragouret down, Medra turned sharply towards the exit, and dashed out of the cave. Soaring over the pond, Medra came to a lurching halt at the bank. He then continued to walk in the direction he was heading when he had left the group before.

That one was for messing up my plans...--;;

She smiled to herself. Ochkik Haddah's laughter rang through the cavern, and he filled her with a sense of both calmness and reasurance. Tarlain rubbed her throat unconciously and turned around.

Haddah: Did you seriously wish to conend with him?

Tarlain: Of course not......why would I do that when you're helping him?

The Lord of Nightmares gave her a soul searing look, then smiled in spite of himself.

Haddah: Do you think I'm helping him?

Tarlain: Are we playing 20 questions?

Haddah: .....you can't expect any more from a Demon God like him.

Tarlain: I know. I'v ehad my share of nasty experiences with them. Or have you forgotten how you tested me with fire and water.?

Haddah: Now who's playing 20 questions?

The female Dragouret hissed through her teeth and spread both her wings.

"If he dies....somebody else will too."

Sennen appeared infront of Karina and silently began to walk twards the gate to Hell, AD tracing the ground as he walked solemnly.

Sennen: ... I feel his presence ..

Slashing his sword foreward, a shockwave knocked all the bodies out of Sennen's path, as he slowed to a stop. He sniffed the air a few times, the yellow aura around his sword expanding, flickering upwards in a dance of death..

Sennen: ... And his presence seems to be in Ryan ... I have to go down there...

Slashing a portal open, he glanced back at Karina and his eyes glowed dark blue for a moment, before he stepped in. The portal slid shut, a whisper of darkness eminating out before it finally did.

In Satan's main chamber, Sennen stepped out, glancing up at the large fiend who only had two chains left, the chains that were keeping him from destroying everything that ever had a creator, inanimate or animate.

Sennen: ... Heh heh heh heh ...

Sennen sat down quietly and stared up to the creature, and snickered silently. Satan roared and tugged against the chains, his anger driving him to try to kill Sennen.

Sennen: ... You will never escape... that chain around your throat will never disappear...

OOC: Hehe...
------------------
Satan sat back in his throne, still bound. Slowly he regained his composure.

Satan- "Death Knight... My old friend. How long have I know you?"

Sennen- "A very long time."

Satan- "Indeed... Why did you turn away from your mission, Death Knight? You pledged you soul to me."

Sennen- "..."

Satan- "As silent as ever I see. Then tell me, Death Knight, do you really believe you can win?"

Sennen- "Sennen..." Satans eyes flashed red.

Satan- "Excuse me? The aeons of screams seem to finnaly be damaging my hearing."

Sennen- "My name is Sennen. The name you have given me no longer holds. I am a free spirit." A gale of laughter shook the hall.

Satan- "Really. If you are free then why not slay me? You can't. Even though I am bound you still have enough evil in you to render you attacks useless against me. Instead of attacking me, please, fight against my new soldiers." Satan snapped his fingers and three very large creatures walked into the room. Each looked like it was covered with human skin. And each looked like it had the power of twenty demons. They roared and charged at Sennen with claws ten inches long.

OOC: Bad Ryan! Lol. >_>

---

Sennen: ... Dont tempt fate ... Evil is only an opinon ...

Sennen lept upwards as all three of the demons collided with each other, ripping wounds open on each other, yelling in pain. Landing next to the group, Sennen slashed one of them in half, its seperated upper half flying onto Satan's lap. The other two quickly regained their composure, and a duel of powers began.

Using his wits, Sennen lept up onto the wall, slamming his sword into and hanging on, far above the demons reach. The demons quickly began to grow their wings from within them, but it would take them some time to finish the process. Sennen used this time to his advantage, hovering outfrom the wall briefly as a green aura surronded him.

Sennen: ... haste ...

His speed doubled instantly, and his sword disappeared with him, as a streak flew around the demons, Sennen slashing one of the upper demons' arms off, sending it spinning to the ground.

Sennen: ... Satan ... You ... will never... learn... nothing can hurt me... ever...

Slashing the mutaliated demon in half vertically, Sennen spun around and kicked the other demon across the room, roaring as he added mana to his kick. The demon shook its head, regaining its composure, before Apocalypse Darkness ripped through its neck, blood splattering all over Ken.

Sennen: ... ... Is that it?

Sennen lept into the air, regaining a steady hover 20 feet above the ground. He closed his eyes and waited patiently, expecting some half-*ssed remark from Satan, but all that erupted in the room was laughing.

Satan: These are my latest creations, Dea-.. 'Sennen'. They wont fall as easily as that..

The sound of gurggled roars made Sennen's eyes snap open, as he glanced down to see the three seperate demons forming into one super entity. Sennen hovered backwards, as the combined powers of the 3 seperate demons focused into one body, sending the hulking form into a convulsion of sorts, screams of pain eruptinf from its throat as its wounds healed.

Sennen: ... .... ... ... !!!! ... ... ... ...

Satan: Its quite a veristile soldier.. It can take any power from a dead body, and absorb it into itself.

Sennen: YOU CREATED A CHIMERA?!

Satan: Hmm. I did need a name for it..

Sennen: ... ... So you created a being... made up of other beings... ... ...

Satan: Demons. A few angels. Plenty of humans. You'll see that in its true form, its more than a match for you.

Sennen: You can not be serious.. ... ... You-... .. Damnit.

The hulking mass of flesh began to take on a shape, a huge beast with two arms that had 3 foot long claws on each of them. It reared up to its full height, at least 30 feet, blood oozeing from its mouth as it breathed heavily from the transformation.

Satan: Watch out..

The Chimera roared, and Sennen's eyes glanced at the beast, catching a glimpse as it slammed it's large head, it was at least the size of Sennen himself, into him, sending him hurtling across the room and into the wall, creating a massive crater in it.

Sennen: ... ...

Sennen crawled out of the crater, grabbing his sword, charging foreward twards the fiend..

Karina watched the portal close behind the man, she shook her head slightly as if in disbelief, she had recognized the armour that the knight had been wearing, unless she was mistaken it was the same one that DeathKnight had been wearing...

Karina: Well thats something you don't see everyday.

She turned and started to head to the temple. She heard something, she whipped around and looked all around her, and yet she sensed nothing. Shaking her head she started walking again. A few moments later, she heard it yet again, this time she stopped for a moment, and as soon as she heard it a third time she whipped around as soon as she heard it. She sensed nothing behind her, but still she could have sworn she had seen something duck behind a pile of rocks. Karina couldnt do anything, so she kept moving as fast as she could go without breaking into a run.

Karina: I must be getting paranoid!

Karina stopped for a moment to try to find which direction she was going to head in now, unfortunately for her, she didn't sense the beast that now was looming up behind her, poising for the kill...

Just as that was going on, Valen had decided to go look for his weapon, since there were no more demons coming through the gate. He walked around, picking up and moving stones and bricks. He walked around the temple, and who did he see about to get killed? None other than Karina. He ducked behind another pile of rubble.

Valen: Man, It's another one of those assassin things... Hmmm my crimson blast won't effect it, but I have to do something!

Valen aimed a crimson blast at the assassin's head. He fired it. It exploded on the assassin's head as planned, then Karina jumped forward and turned around to see who had done that. She saw it was Valen and that there was an assassin right behind her. He fired another one, banking it off of a peice of glass that was coincidentally sitting there. The blast hit the assassin in the back of the head, leaving just enough time for Karina to throw Valen his weapon.

Karina: Valen! Catch!

She threw his Isis Katana to him as she started running towards him. He gripped the Isis Katana's hilt and walked toward the assassin... He turned back to Karina.

Valen: Thanks...

Karina: No problem... Valen?! What happened to your wing!?

Valen: I'll explain later.

Karina nodded in slight surprise and shock. She drew her own blade, and followed Valen's lead. Karina examined the thing while she still could, it didnt look like much but this thing had speed and agility on its side, both of them knew that. If someone was to land a damaging blow, the thing had to be still. Only a distraction could cause it to stand still, even for a brief period of time.

Karina: Need a distraction? I can provide one easily.

Karina grabbed her whip and uncoiled it. She cracked it at the assassin just to test it out. Naturally, the assassin growled.

Whipping his sword downwards, Sennen's sword ripped through the tough flesh of the fiend, crimson spurts flying out onto his already-bloodstained armor. The Chimera reared back, throwing him up into the air, sword and all.

Sennen: Bullsh-

He slammed into the ceiling of the large throne cavern, another small crater forming there. Debries fell down onto the floor 80 or so feet below, as Sennen charged downwards at the fiend again. He stopped just short, raising his hand in the face of the Chimera..

Sennen: Diablos Maximos..!

The beam shot from his outstretched hand directly into the face of it, ripping it's head clear off as the beam cascaded into the nearest wall, exploding on impact, large rocks flying across the Throne Room.

Sennen: I will kill anything that comes in my path, you stupid fool.

The Chimera's body seemed to fall back in slow motion, arms outstretched, blood oozeing from it's small unhealed wounds. With a resounding thud, it finally hit the ground, dust flying up in every direction..

OOC: One more post Death Knight? I enjoy your battle scenes so much. ;)
--------------
In Hell

Death Knight- "Your Chimera has been defeated. Now I think it's quite time for you to die." Satan pointed a scarred hand toward the Chimeras body. It was twitching. Death Knight followed the dirction in which Satan was pointing and grunted in disgust. "What have you done..." The Chimeras body stood up slowly, still without a head. Once it got erect a jet of flame stopped the bleeding where it's head used to be. An eye slowly opened in the center of it's chest. Then another. And another. And another. After ten eyes had appeared in a circled star pattern, a gaping mouth chewed it's way through the Chimeras stomach. It roared and started drooling blood. Satan laughed.

On Earth

Ryan- "Where am I!" I screamed into the darkness in vain. I had begun to feel aprehensive. This strange place didn't sit well with me. "Whoever is here, show yourselfes in the name of Satan!" A blinding light filled the void. I screamed and shielded my eyes. I collapsed to the 'floor' and coiled into a ball. "Who are you!" I screamed in a high-pitched, panicky voice. The light stopped shining and I opened my eyes. I was in a void of whiteness now.

??- "I am all, and nothing. I am the stong, yet the unbelieveably weak. I am the savior, and the condemer. I am God." I blinked as I looked around for the source of the voice. This could not be God.

Ryan- "What do you mean 'God'?"

God- "I am God. The source of holiness and passive lord of Earth." I looked around again and scouled.

Ryan- "You are no lord of Earth. Soon Satan will be the lord of the Earth. And you, being the passive self you are, are helpless to stop it. You will fall." Silence. What was he doing? Attempting to get me on the side of the Angelics? I would not go. I had been rejected once. Never again.

God- "I still know you Ryan. I never turn my back on a soul, even if it has been completely corrupted. Souls are always good. They are made to rise, not fall."

Ryan- "I will never rise again. You rejected me. I will not go through that again. Now return me to my battlefield." A cut opened in the vast white area and revealed the exact spot I had stepped into. I looked back a moment and stepped through.

Sennen: ...

Satan: ... I cannot wait till you lose... You will become my next finest creation... even if you somehow beat my beautiful creature, someday I will make you the finest weapon ever.

Sennen: What are you talking about?

The Chimera slammed its whole body into Sennen as he was distracted, putting all of it's body weight into it. It knocked all the wind out of Sennen as he flew, once again, down into the ground, skidding along the floor with his sword.

Dazed, Sennen went into a flashback trying to remember how the Chimera's of old had been killed. Images of his father, his teachers, his tutors, Satan himself, all the information he had gathered over the years...

~~~
x ??? x: ... Seve-...
~~~

Pain washed over his body as the Chimera began pounding his limp body over and over, the flashback shattering like glass hit by a bullet. Rolling along the ground to avoid becoming a pancake, Sennen picked up his sword and wiped the blood from his mouth. Closing his eyes to try to go back to the flashback..

~~~
x ??? x ... ... ha ha ha ... ... ki... ... spi ... ... hard ... ... metal ... ...
~~~

Sennen: GODDAMN IT! WHAT DID YOU SAY ON HOW TO KILL IT?

~~~
x Ra?? x: ... ... Hahaha ... ... To kil ... ... Sever.. .. spin.. ... but i... ... hard as metal ... ...
~~~

Opening his eyes to catch a glimpse of a large clawed fist flying at him, Sennen raised both his hands as a blue shield flashed over him, just before the claws punched 3 large holes in him.

The shield flashed out, hitting Chimera with the force of a strong shockwave. The beast flew backwards dozens of feet, as Sennen grabbed his sword from the ground. His aura flashed into exsistance, as his eyes flashed over black.

Sennen: What the f*ck did Raven say? Come on, Come on.

~~~
Raven: .. .. .. To kill a Chimera ... ... .. Sever the spin .. .. but..
~~~

Sennen: Sever the spin? Sever the spin. That isnt right.. Sever the spin.. spinitical... spinner... spinnisita...

~~~
Raven: ... Sever the spi.. ..
~~~

The Chimera rose up silently, drool dripping in large globs onto the floor as its hunger rose. It rose slowly, extending it's claws to it's full length, glancing at it's target- Sennen, Lost in Thought. Lumbering foreward, it snarled a curse in it's beast tongue to itself.

Sennen's gaze slowly raised to the oncoming beast, raising his sword upward, pointing it at the beast, accepting the challenge for another round. Disappearing breifly, he reappeared 10 feet away, chargeing at full speed, sword extended outwards, ready to strike...

... All the while trying to remember that priceless advice ...

In Hell

The white chain surrounding Satans leg shattered.

On Earth

I had just been informed that second Sigul had been killed. How I love the assassins. I strode into the still ensuing conflict. We were going to win this. The Angelics were faultering. We outnumbered them three to one. I clasped my sword and stabbed a weakened Archangel in the neck. He fell to the ground bleeding. I sliced an arm off another, still heading toward the heart of the city. The demons jumped on the wounded Angelic and mauled it to death. I could see it now. There was a temple there exactly in the middle.
I got to the steps and walked in. A demon sentry jumped on me. I threw it down and held a sword to it's throat.

Ryan- "Are you aware you just attacked me?" The demon rambled and cried. "Get out of here, tell all the others to get out as well." The demon took to the air screaming the warning. I would give my troops ten minutes to get back into the fissure. Then I would level this place. I grabbed two vials and uncorked them. The first I drank. Immediately I felt power rush through my body it invaded every cell. It electrified every hair. It strengthened every muscle. I screamed with delight and crushed the other vial in my hand. It covered my skin, and wings, with a black armor of sorts. The armor pulsed and rippled across my skin. It would strengthen me in battles and in the destruction I was about to do.

Two minutes now...

One...

Times up. I smiled. Now, the real fireworks would begin. I plunged my sword into the ground of the temple. It began to glow black. I heard a rush of wings. Slowly I turned my head up. My eyes brightened. The blood contained in the vials made me ready for a good fight.

Ryan- "Simikiel! How lovely it is for you to join me. Are you hear as an observer or as a disruptor? I'm assuming the latter." I smiled again and the black armor rippled across my skin.

Simikiel- "Why do you do such things Ryan? You cannot possibly like it."

Ryan- "Oh, but I do. I enjoy killing the souls that your master holds so dear. Now if you have come to stop me then please try. I am ready for a battle." I pulled my blade from the ground and unfolded my wings.

Half blind with rage and fury, Tarlain grew both her claws and ripped a series of lines into the cave wall. The screeching sound filled her ears, giving her a dark and hidious pleasure....when she stopped, her talons had not only been sharpened, they had grown longer than before......she retracted them with a soft "snick," then padded back into the moonlight. With a twisted and a spring, she dove into the waterfall's lake, testing the warmth of the water....and the vibrations from the earth.

Medra was far away, but still within the boundries of Atenae. She could feel his life, pulsing through the air. Mana flowing, twisting in small tendrils around the ground. She reached out mentally, and called him.

"Return."

At first, he chose to ignore her. But there was a sound in her voice that he didn't recognize. Why did he not come? She called out once more, and his response was nothing. Hecate herself answered.

Hecate: Why do you call this one?

Tarlain: I wish to see him again. Tell him for me please.

A voice swirled around in his mind, grasping his attention for a second. It wasn't the one of the normal voice he often heard in his head, but rather, one that he could not tell if it was even in existance. It said one word; Return.

Medra's thoughts turned to what Tarlain had called out to him before. He couldn't stop thinking about her and what she had done to him. But whenever he was reminded with "a silver kiss", he was not filled with rage or anger. Instead, he felt something else. Something he had never felt before. It was a churning in his stomach, but there was no obvious reason for it. Not disease could affect him, and it would seem odd [at least to him] that his stomach would choose a specific moment to evaporate.

What was he feeling? It wasn't physically churning, his stomach, but he did feel a rush of blood go to his face as well. His throat clentched, and his hands began to sweat. And it happened again. Just thinking about thinking about that attack made that feeling slam into him like a rocket.

His pondering was once again intruded by that unearhtly voice. It called to him again, so he decided to satisfy his curiousity.

His body ate away, breaking apart into tiny cubes which shrank into nothingness the further away they got. The cubes never got past a foot from their original position.

At the same time back at the clearing next to the lake, Medra reformed, the opposite of how he disappeared. He saw Tarlain instantly, only her eyes and above visible from the surface of the water.

With a face of a mix between questioning and anger, he approached the shoreline and knelt down, as Tarlain swam motionlessly closer. Placing his right index fingertip on the water, a gentle flow of electricity gave Tarlain a warm, fuzzy feeling which sent her nerves into a deep relaxation; a sort of an electromagnetic massage.

Tarlain: "I didn't think you'd come back."

Tarlain stopped coming closer some ten feet from the bank.

Medra: "..."

Tarlain: "...?"

Medra: "...What do you want?"

Sennen stopped breifly, crossing his hands over his chest. The whole room fell silent as a crossbress eeriely blew through, Ken's hair shifting in the wind. His skin slowly began to melt away, dripping onto the floor slowly.

In one sudden disgusting mess, all of his flesh fell off of his body, leaving him back in his skeletal Death Knight form. Raising both his hands slowly, a shockwave eminated from him, lightning ripping through the air around his now visible black aura. The ground stripped away below him, as his animosity finally formed into a pyschial being.

His aura tripled in size, blowing the Chimera back several steps, as a large black orb rippled into life above Sennen, dwarfing Chimera himself in size. Roaring in rage, Death Knight's sword rose infront of him, beginning to spin counterclockwise,

Lowering his hands, the orb shot out, forming into a wide beam that blasted across the floor, ripping a deep trench into the stone floor. It slammed into Chimera, seering into his flesh, intill finally it cut right through him, the upper half being insenerated instantly, the lower half falling to 'safety'.

Diablos Maximos flew without further interuption into Satan, the Lord of Terror's eyes closing as it hit him, the beam exploding in a massive outward burst, sending Death Knight backwards into the wall. Shockwave after shockwave pounded the Fallen Knight, imbeding him, amusingly, into the wall.

All the energy having nowhere left to go, suddenly shot upwards, tearing through the roof, shredding layers of rock to pieces as it ascended in violent force.

Finally, it ripped a tear on the upper layer of Earth's crust, all the mana exploding once more, destroying whatever had been around it- An ominous black mushroom cloud rising in it's wake.

Satan: ... Temper, Temper.

Death Knight: ... to Kill a Chimera... You severe its Spine ...

His flesh reformed on him, messy hair falling into his eyes as he lifted himself out of the indent in the stone wall. Grabbing Apocalypse Darkness, he slowly began to walk twards Satan.

He stopped, and looked up to Satan, silently sizeing him up. Finally, useing the weight of his sword, he slashed a portal to Athenae, stareing into Satan's eyes..

Sennen: ... We will meet again ...

Satan: Sooner than you think, Death Knight.

Stepping into the portal slowly, it sealed tightly shut..

And reopened in Athenae..

Sennen walked out, blood and sweat mixing on his forehead, slideing down his skin slowly. He had several wounds from the fight, drops of blood falling onto the beautiful green grass below.

Sennen: I need a vacation...

Sennen's aura slowly decreased from its powered up state, falling slowly intill it was transparent to the eye. Sheathing his sword, he glanced around to look to where he was.

Ganing his sense of direction, he began to walk to the waterfall, hopeing to see his daughter and sister- He missed them already. Even Medra and Tarlain..

Sennen: With my flesh, i've regained my humanity... Is this good.. or bad?...

She smiled at him then rose out of the water to stand on the surface. He followed her movement.....there was a magic aura around her that went beyond her natural flow of mana. Perhaps it was the water. Tarlain shook her hair dry like an animal then leapt down to land in the grass next to him. Once more, she looked at him, her eyes half closed, her body relaxed.

Tarlain: I want you to understand what you feel.

Medra: .....why should I?

Tarlain: The begining of understanding will lead to power.

Medra: .....who was that voice calling me?

Tarlain: Hecate. The bright Moon. She wants to see me succeed almost as much as I want to help you.

Medra: Save it for your apprentice.

Tarlain: She already understands.
