Ken: I have a bloody headache.

Ken reached up and wiped the blood-sweat mixture away, beginning to hold and massage his forehea, winceing one and awhile. He knew that Tarlain and Medra were in the middle of something important, so he stopped, and silently walked the opposite direction out of courtesy.

Finally, he stopped and sat down, his back against a large boulder. Letting out a sigh of discontent, he closed his eyes, feeling the slow trikle of blood flowing past his eyes.

Skye: Chimera's are like that.

Pratically scaring the living sh*t out of Ken, Skye was suddnely sitting on the boulder above him, with a casual smirk on her face. Ken silently smiled to himeslf, and tilted his head up to the sky.

Ken: You make one hell of a welcomeing commity.

Skye: Ah. I know. Arent I lovely?

Chuckleing to himself, he silently looked at the night sky, admiring the wink stars that stared back down at him. Skye was stareing off into the horizon, silently considering her thoughts within the confines of her own head..

Ken: Where is everyone?

Skye: Zelfoh is sleeping.. Tarlain and Medra in the midst of an important discussion.

Ken: You decided not to bother them either, eh?

Skye: I have manners, unlike you.

Ken lowered his gaze down to the ground and closed his eyes, regenerateing his mana siletly within his body, causing him to feel extremely sleepy suddenly.

Skye: I should get some sleep as well. Do you mind if I sleep down there, instead of on this boulder?

Ken: Come on down..

Celestine sat down, and sighed.

"So, what am I supposed to do?"

Innana stood up, and brushed the stone wall with her fingers.

"Come with me. I will show you." She replied, a red aura glowing from her fingers.

Celestine got up, and walked up to Innana.

"Watch carefully, and you will be ready for a few tasks I have yet to give you."

Her hands flickered, as the aura joined with another. Innana turned her wrists, and the stone began to move. She put her wrists together, and smiled as the rock formed a pathway. A corridor. Celestine's eyes narrowed, as she looked down at the flame-lit chamber below.

"We will begin the tasks in that Chamber. Come, follow me."

As they walked, Celestine could feel the mana emenating from Innana's body....it seemed to act independently of the sorceress herself...and twisted around the entire area... Then she saw it. A huge round room, made entirely of white marble. Or so it seemed. Innana stepped into the center, then knelt and placed both her hands on the ground. Immediatly, huge beasts rose from the ground and reared onto their hind legs.

Innana receeded into the shadows, leaving Celestine to fend for herself. She stepped back, afraid.....then she felt something pulsing at her neck. Her hand flew up to touch the Spirit stone from her instructor. Strength began to flood through her whole being, and she stepped forwards again.

Celestine: ...okay....

Skye leaned against the boulder, sitting next to her brother, leaning against his shoulder slightly. His eyes drifted from open to shut, awash in a sea of pain and fatigue.

Letting out a sigh, Skye was confused as to why she was so happy to see her brother alive, but knew that it was because of him she was ressurected in the first place.

Ken shifted his weight twards Skye, the air around them growing cold as the blood slowly began to dry on Ken's face..

Ken: Ever feel like the world was out to get you?

Skye: Mom always said it was out to get you.. and only you.

Ken: Heh heh... I guess so. But.. I did kill Chimera..

Skye: You should have taken me along.....

Ken: ... I will next time ...

And thusly, side by side, brother and sister slowly accepted each other all over again, as the night wore on, and each of them fell asleep..

Medra turned away slowly as if to not look Tarlain in the eye. It was happening again. A lump formed in his throat, as he turned back to the Dragouret. When he spoke, his voice wavered slightly.

Medra: "Well I... ...Mmm. ...I find that I increasingly find it hard to talk to you without thinking of you. However silly that may sound, I care not; it's true. I fear you may have done something to me while I slept."

Tarlain: "Fear not, I did nothing to you but merely let you rest."

Medra: "Very well. But I do not see how the likes of you can help me. Or rather, why you would want to help me."

Tarlain: "Helping you could very well help me. Not to mention help revive my race, and protect the Earth. Plus, you don't want to turn that shade of red everytime you look at me do you?"

Medra blushed even more furiously as he went to storm off. But for some reason, he didn't move. Instead, he bowed his head, trying to hide his face's color of cherry red.

Medra: "Why do you require my help? Why not let someone who is more comfortible with their...more touchy feelings..?"

Tarlain: "Because you alone are special...like me. I've gone through you mind. I know that if you were ever to reproduce...your offspring would harbor your power, as well as your abilities.. Plus, you were also designed to never be duplicated and your offspring would be one-hundred percent of the female that you would mate with."

Medra: "Glad to see you're having fun running around in my mind. But still, I don't see why... Even though.. Ah, ****. I-...I don't know. You did something to me, I just know it."

The female Dragouret smiled broadly, showing feral white teeth. She tilted her head to one side, the very picture of innocence.

Tarlain: Whatever would I gain from that? Certainly not your trust.

He glared at her, then blushed and looked away.

Medra: Please don't do that.

Tarlain: Do what? This?

She smiled and ran the tip of her tounge along her teeth, feeling the sharp points of her fangs. Eyes half shut, she looked at him, tail whisking and twitching with her mood. Medra stared back, face completely serious.

Tarlain: I have done nothing to you. Besides look into your mind. I swear it on my name and bloodline.

Medra: And what is that worth?

Tarlain: .....It's a very big swear. It it is untrue, I will die.

Medra: Good enough.

With a smooth slide of her legs, she stood up and looked at the darkening sky. Almost immediatly after, it began to rain. No, it began to pour. Torrents, driven down by the rain and clouds. Tarlain smiled, and shook the water from her eyes. Her hair clung around her face, and her skin shimmered in the light.

IC: My wings looked even more black with the liquid armor on. Black tendrils of mana floated upward from them. I gripped my blade hard and the black liquid seeped over it. Slowly the blade began to change shape. It elongated, bacame wider at the hilt, the blade thickened, and it turned black. I swung from where I was standing, about ten feet away from Simikiel. A black blade seemed to slingshot off of my weapon. It nearly sliced Simikiel in half had not the Angelic been so limber. He quickly ducked and felt only the rush of wind the black wraith-blade had left in it's wake. The spirit returned to my sword and Simikiel stood up.

Simikiel- "If a fight is what you want, a fight is what you will get." He drew his weapon and advanced. I smiled and gripped my sword harder. I yelled with rage and pleasure and sliced a downward arc in the air, aimed at the angels head. He parried easily and sliced my over the back. I dropped to one knee and laughed. His weapon had barely touched me. The blunt of the attack had been absorbed by the liquidic armor. The liquic started to creep up my neck.

Ryan- "Now you shall see the true power of my master." It covered my head and seeped into my eyes. They glowed red as I felt even more power rush through me. I grinned maliciously and sliced again at Simikiel. He blocked with his weapon and was thrown back a little. I hurredly shot another attack his way ans caught him off balance. He fell to the floor. Scrambling to get up I kicked him in the ribs. Slowly, he got up and gazed at me with hatred. I pumped my wings and flew into the upper levels of the cathedral cieling. Simikiel did the same. The Angelic seemed more confident up here. We would see...

Celestine looked back at Innana, surprised at what she had just done. Innana smirked back, her eyes motionlessly staring back at her.

"Wh-" Celestine paused, to turn back. She faced Innana once again, and clenched her fists. "You're leaving me like this!?"

Innana waved, and blew at a small opening between her and herself. A thin sheet of ice seperated the two. A window... She was going to watch her fight Fourty demons all by herself?

Celestine gasped as she saw a monsterous shadow appear behind her. A horse-like figure neighed, kicking its crimson legs in the air above her. Celestine screamed, and rolled to her right, dust crackling at her sides. It was a centuar... The centuar's legs came crashingt o the ground next to her, grunting as its feet touched the ground. Celestine stumbled up, to hear a hissing sound. She looked down to see a verdi serpent snapping at her heels.

Celestine ran away towards a clearance, where some of the beasts had left. It was a large room. Large enough for a... Celestine grinned. She took a deep breath, and lift her hands in the air.

"mnun' odu' ada" She whispered, closing her eyes as an golden aura surrounded her.

She whispered again, only louder and harder.

A crystal-like beam formed in her palms above her, as the aura swept up around her. Her hair lifted as she whispered the spell, and the Celestial magic returned to her. She opened her eyes, and thrust her hands forward. She pulled her palms back, and shoved them forward once again, only this time, aiming for the centuar.

It struck the centuar, and the centuar shattered. Like a piece of glass...

Simikiel kneeled in midair, bowing his head, and resting his sword across his Knee. He was whispering something, chanting, praying. Ryan looked curiously at the Archangel.

Simikiel: ...Deus dare ego vis.. Ad dimicare Satanas legio... Ego adorare ac servire vos, Deus...

Ryan: Pathetic! Look at the way you beg for that Lord of yours to save you. Well guess what, it's not going to--

Simikiel: Silence!

Simikiel's eyes glazed over, turning pure white. His normally black hair turned white also, and stood on end. He shone brightly, emiting energy in all directions. From the outside, the Cathedral could barely be seen through the light pouring out all of the stained glass windows. Ryan shielded his eyes from the intense holy light. Exposure would kill any normal demon--Only his armour protected him.

As Ryan regained his composure, attempting to bare the light, Simikiel attacked. A bolt of white lightning shot out from the engulfing orb of energy and light that was Simikiel. It pinned Ryan back, against a giant stone cross at the Altar of the Cathedral. He tried to move, but could not. The Light around Simikiel subsided, and the glowing Angel spoke with a booming voice, that seemed to have many dimensions to it. There was a voice of Anger, a voice of Hatred, a voice of Sadness, a whisper, a shout. Ryan thought without a doubt that this was the voice of God.

Simikiel: You dare to oppose Me?

Ryan: Is this... the voice of God?

Simikiel: Haha! Nay, child. This is but the beginning of my power!

Pinned against the cross, Ryan was being barraged with Holy energy. So much in fact, that his armour was beginning to flaw.

Simikiel: Are you afraid, Demon?

Ryan: ....No.

Simikiel: Do not lie to me, Demon!

From Simikiel, four crosses flew fowards, towards Ryan. The crosses were solid, comprised of pure Holy energy. All four of them pierced him. One in each hand, and one in each foot. The crosses easily penetrated his Dark armour. Drowning in pain, Ryan began to fade. But, before he could, Simikiel hurled Apragsin at him. The sword pierced Ryan's side, sending the Fallen Angel into a spiral of pain. Holy energy ruptured his evil body.

Ryan: No... It can't be!

Simikiel: That's right, child. Apragsin is forged of Longinus, the lance that pierced Christ's side as he, like you, was crucified, two millenia ago.

All the pain, all the hatred, all the agony in the world were poured into this most Holy artifact. Apragsin was the ultimate weapon of the Holy Legion. Ryan shook violently, slowly succumbing to the pain, trying to free himself.

Simikiel: Why do you fight, Demon? To gain control of the world? But you will never. For no matter how valiantly you battle, the might of God shall always overpower you.

Ryan: And what... If I killed him...

Simikiel: Fool! You cannot kill the Almighty, the Creator... For with him would go all existence! But yours ends here, Ryan.

Simikiel unleashed a massive bolt of lightning, one which easily crushed Ryan into oblivion. No more was left of the Fallen Angel. Simikiel grinned, and hovered slowly to the floor of the cathedral. His eyes and hair returned to normal, and he approached the stone cross, drawing Apragsin back out of it. He placed the holy blade back in it's satchel, over his back.

Simkiel: Tommorow, we storm the Gates of Hell.

In a dark, cold corner of the underworld, a feeble Ryan slammed into the rocky surface. He had been defeated, yes, but had returned to Hell to regain his strength. The Demon still had some Angelic qualities about him... Resurrection being one of them. Battered and weak, the Fallen Angel clambered to his feet, looking around. This was a corner of Hell he had never visited. One in which condemned souls lay, slowly becoming more and more corrupt by the evils of hell, developing a strong hatred for their oppressors. Ryan leant against a wall, limping towards the chamber of his Dark Lord.

Overhearing Simkiel, Valen nodded and charged at the assassin with his katana drawn. His katana once again glowed golden with electrictity covering it. He ran towards the assassin, hoping to get it to move into the light, but it was smart. It countered Valen's attack with his own weapon. It then knocked Valen to the ground and brought its weapon to his neck. Valen was trapped this time.

Valen: Alright, so you've got me now. Big deal. Let me ask you something... What do you plan to do if Ryan does take over the world and doesn't need you anymore?

Assassin: ... ... ...

Valen: Yes, that's what I thought. Now, what are you going to do in three seconds?

Assassin: ?

Valen: Heh... One...

Valen looked at Karina, she understood what he was trying to tell her. So she slowly started moving up behind the assassin trying not to make a sound.

Valen: ...two...

She prepared to attack still not noticed by the assassin, she shook her head and got into position

Valen: Hope you had a nice life! ...THREE!!

The assassin didnt even have a chance to react before Karina decapitated the demon, as Valen stabbed the assassin through the gut, his katana's blade coming out through it's back, dripping in black blood. They both pulled back, as the now dead assassin fell to the ground and turned to dust on impact.

OOC: Oh Flash... You shouldn't have. I feel like Christmas came early. ;)
-----------
IC: Ryan- "Damn him... Damn him..." I sculked through the River Styx, knee deep in blood. I had never been this deep into Hell before. It was unnerving. Being surrounded by beings that were all in the same mindset as me seemed wrong. I tenderly touched my side where the Angels weapon had pierced my armour and cut into me. The wound wouldn't completely heal... Ever... It pulsed as the cmbating forces tried to heal and hurt at the same time. At least I couldn't completely die.

I stepped out of the blood rivier and looked forward. The door to the Throne Room stood only a few miles away. I began walking again, thinking of Simikiel. How fun it would be to hurt him... Rip him... Tear him... I shook my head to clear the violent thoughts. I stopped dead. What was I doing? I was trying to push away the thoughts that I had been recuited for. Satan had brought me into his army for my lust. He twisted that lust into hatred and death and violence. He made me a soldier and now I was attempting to push away my training. The Angel must have hurt me more than I thought.

I walked again and dropped into a trance. I was dreaming in a way. I walked through a lush green countryside. I was in bland clothing and was carrying a farming tool. Where was this? Ireland? Scotland? One of the two. I looked down at my feet. Potatoes... I was a potato farmer. That's what I had been when I was alive. I felt a rush of vertigo and was suddenly in my house with my family. From the looks of things we were just sitting down for dinner. Everyone put their hands up and began to pray. I felt a rush of shame and was quickly rushed away. Here I was tending my crops. I looked down and saw them turn black. It was a famine. I had hung myself in my barn.

Surprisingly I was admitted to Heaven. I got to the gates and walked in. Soon after I had started making constant trips down to be with my wife. She refused me. I was dead to her. I started hanging around old friends. One of them was a woman named Gloria. She was the vision of lovelyness. I lusted after her and layed with her many times. One day God called me into his presence. He banished me for lust. I fell and fell... and fell... and fell... Untill I hit the hard stone floor of the underworld. My wings tattered on the way down. I tried to move them but felt pain. Satan had taken me under his wing. He trained me. Prepaired me. 'Loved' me...

I snapped awake. I was here. I opened the door quickly, wanting to see my master. Slowly i stepped into his chamber. He looked at me the way a father might look at a son. I was relieved. I was afraid he was going to destroy me.

Satan- "Ryan, do not be afraid. I am not mad. Come forward." I walked quickly up to him and kneeled. He lifted me up, struggling against the binding chain on his neck. "Come closer." I did. I was a foot from his face when it changed. It turned from warm and loving to stone cold and furious. He seized me by the throat and breathed a black cloud of mana into my mouth. I swallowed and started to convulse. He threw me against the floor and screamed at me. "If I need something done correctly, I must do it myself! No one is as strong as I!" My vision clouded and I bgan to sink into my mind. Slowly another mind surfaced. It was his. I screamed but no sound came out. My body stood up and looked at Satan. He was lying limp against his chair. My eyes were jerked away and my body began to walk up the stairs.

Ryan(Satan)- "You are now me, my friend. We share the same body. Now I will destroy the Earth. Funny isn't it. You will get glory for being my unwilling host. Just let that angel attack the Gates. He will fail."

In the midst of his dreams, Sennen delved between near-reality and deep, dark fantastic dreams- Dreams of humor, drama, sadness, and fear. Suddenly, all the dreams faded into one, knocking his consiousness out in the dream..

His eyes opened, takeing in the scene around him. It was pitch black, but Sennen could oddly see his hands like it was broad daylight. Nothing else caught his eye, which wasnt odd for his dreams, but still odd for what had preceded all of this.

Stepping foreward, his foot hit the ground, his footsteps echoing over and over, causing him to gasp, startled. Glanceing around, he searched for something- anything at all.

A small black orb glared suddenly from an unkown light source, piercing the void-like room he was in. The orb began to hum, rotating counter clockwise as it did. It floated slowly, ominously, twards Sennen, stopping and hovering just within arms reach.

Hesitating at first, Sennen stared at it for a few seconds. Finally, he sighed and reached for it, grabbing it in mid air. Suprised at the lack of any response from the orb, Ken carefully examined it, rolling it around in his hands a few times.

Black Orb: ... Celestial.

Sennen: What.. What about Celestine?

Black Orb: ... Black. Black Nightmare.

Sennen: Wh-..

Black Orb: He is ascending.

Sennen: ..

Black Orb: Sigul's chains.. No longer holding him.

Sennen: That's impossible. As long as Skye is alive, he should be held tightly, like he has been held for.. for.. forever, almost!

Black Orb: His Spirit.. In the Demonlord it is.

Sennen: Alright. Well... Can you tell me how to stop him? Wound him? Send him back? Something?

Black Orb: .. Everyone. Celestial.. You.. Tarlain.. Everyone.

Sennen: What do we do?

Black Orb: Your fear keeps you from being able to hurt him..

Sennen: Bu-

Black Orb: Take me to the Celestial.. Her weapon I can be.. Powerful... Wise... ... Old.

Sennen: Yes. Alright. I w-

Black Orb: ... ... AWAKEN!

Underneath the boulder, Ken's eyes snapped open as he gasped in shock and terror- Sweatdrops fell to his lap as he jolted up. Skye was next to him, sound asleep. Glanceing around, he grinned and rubbed some of the sweat off his forehead.

Sennen: I need to stop hanging out with demons.. its starting to effect my dreams..

Suddenly, something solid hit Sennen in the head, causing him to fall to the side, holding his head and curseing immensely. Getting up with one hand still rubbing his head, he picked up the Black Orb and stared at it breifly, before the realization of pain washed back over him.

Sennen: Stupid Orb. >_< Grrraghhh! My HEADDD!!!!

Black Orb: Remember... Celestial... Her weapon I can be... If not that... Her friend... helper... I can be...

Sennen: Yes. I get it. Thank you for helping her..

He spoke that through gritted teeth, as the pain slowly, but surely, began to fade away. Picking up the Orb with his free hand, he slipped into a bag that was at his waist, secureing it tightly- He would make no mistakes with this.

Getting up slowly, he glanced down at Skye. She was trembleing in the night, snoring lightly as she slept. Pulling the blanket up to her shoulder, he walked off twards the waterfall to freshen himself up.

Ok Flash, I'll do it for you... I was looking forward to your post though.

IC: My body stalked up the long stairway. The Archangel Simikiel planned to attack the Gates of Hell, the place where all souls entered this wasteland. I was beggining to hate Satan. As grateful as I was to him for all the things he had done for me, he was unwillingly using my body. I contiually screamed at him from the small section of my mind in which I had been locked up. He paid no attention. Finnaly the false red light of Hell reached my eyes. He sighed and smiled.

Ryan(Satan)- "There they are. The Gates still stand. There is no way the Angel cou-" A large blast of energy knocked the gates off of their unholy hinges. Thousands of angels poured in. I could feel the rage rising in my captor. His eyes began to pulse red, and black tendrils of mana rose from his shoulders. "No! I will not let them!" A flash of black fire erupted from his palms and enveloped my body. The fire dispersed and I was covered in the black armour of Satan. Runes written on the armour pulsed a deep red. He raised his hand and a sword phased into existance. It was black as well. It golwed black as he gripped it. "You will all DIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!" His last words echoed throughout the underworld and many Archangels stopped to look for the source of the voice.

Satan ran at the closest battalion of Archangels, sword raised. They saw him a moment too late. His sword sliced all ten in half. They slid down to the ground and screamed in pain. Another battalion was running at me/him. He screamed and jets of black energy rushed out of my mouth. They ripped the angels to shreds. Bloodstained feathers flew everywhere. A volley of ice arrows was launched at my amour covered body. Satan glared at the arrows from behind his helmut and held up a hand. They melted and evaporated in puffs of steam. Another wave of his hand and the Ice Angels that were shooting the arrows burst into flames. They fell like wounded birds as they attempted to put out the fire that was spreading over their flammable bodies. Their wings caught fire with large flashes of light.

WHAM! WHAM! WHAMWHAMWHAMWHAMWHAMWHAMWHAMWHAMWHAMWHAMWHAM! Their bones snapped when they hit the red dusty floor. A smile spread across my captors mouth.

Simikiel- "Ryan! You are no match for me! Surrender now, demon!" It was Simikiel. He was flying abnout ten feet from the ground. My body turned around and removed the helmut. White hair fluttered down my head. When did I ever have white hair? "Are you so weak that you are actually aging, demon? Did I do that much damage to your immortal soul?" He laughed. My body smiled back and Simikiel face slowly became emotionless. Satan used my voice to speak.

Ryan(Satan)- "I am no longer afraid of you Simikiel. My lord has blessed me." He laughed again.

Simikiel- "Do you not remember what happened the last time you used the blood of your master to give you power? I still destroyed you."

Ryan- "The vials are powerfull indeed but nothing compared to what has occured to this body." He put my hands behind my back and started to form two large balls of satanic energy.

Simikiel- "I am not afraid of you, Ryan. Nor is any other Archangel in my fleet." The energy balls were getting larger. He was going to destroy the angel of vengance in one fell swoop. The grin on my face grew wider. "What are you smiling at?" Everything seemed to slow down. I felt my hands start to move, slowly. Simikiel powered the air to stay aloft, slowly. My eyes glowed with malice and hate as tendrils of black mana drifted off my shoulders, slowly. I made the decision, quickly. I summoned all the strength I had and let it loose in a mental shockwave.

Ryan- SIMIKIEL! LOOK OUT! Everything sped back up and I saw Simikiels eyes widen. He heard me. The balls were launched at him. Where they would have destroyed him on contact they barely grazed his left wing. A few feather tunred black and fell out. He mouthed my name. He gazed into my eyes and dissapeared. He reappeared in a flash of white light near the Gates and screamed orders.

Simikiel- "Fall back!! Fall back!!" The Archangels looked toward their commaner and went back through the Gates of Hell. When they were gone, the armour dissapeared.

Ryan(Satan)- "I don't know how you did that, but you will not do it again. I will destroy you." He walked toward the gates and smiled dispite the mood I had caused. Soon he would take over the earth. Why was it that I felt guilty? Oh yeah... I started this damn war...

Valen had noticed that Ryan, the same one that had made him lose his weapon and tore his wing, was now helping Simikiel. This surprised Valen. Though he could not fly by his wings to kick up the air, he had his magic. He charged a Four Winds towards the ground to fly back to Jerusalem to await Simikiel. He finally arrived in Jerusalem atop the temple. Now all he had to do was wait.

Once all the archangels that could retreat had done so, Simikiel finally returned. Valen gave him a short report. He then told Karina where his next destination was and headed to Tokyo. He had unfinished business there.

Valen: Good bye, Simikiel. Good luck! We will see eachother again.

Simikiel: Good bye, Archangel.

A wave ot static ran up Medra's spine as rain made contact with his body. The charge would stay put until the storm ended, or the power would be too strong to contain and most likely kill everything within a ten mile radius. Considering most of the people he needed for his plan to work were within that same ten mile radius, Medra needed to get out of the storm.

Tarlain was already reading his mind and slowly began to turn towards th cave again.

Tarlain: "Come now, Medra. We wouldn't want lightning to strike. According to your clever thought process, that would be a 'tad' bit of an overload."

Medra: "Very well. Just remember that you insisted."

Tarlain: "You act as if coming into my home is something wrong."

Medra rolled his eyes, his face one of annoyance. Tarlain simply smiled back at him, feral teeth showing clearly under a mock-innocent grin.

Mere moments later, the pair were inside the cave once more, the dull atmosphere seemingly to actually calm the Demon God of the Night Skies. Hell, he was even starting to relax.

Medra: "I swear, if I didn't know any better, I'd think this place is cozy."

Tarlain: "Why shouldn't it be? If I can call it home, you would most certainly feel relaxed."

Medra: "Are you calling me soft?" :demon:

Tarlain: "Maybe...maybe not."

Flashing that innocent grin once more, Medra seemed to melt with embarrasment.

Medra: "Normally I would punch your head off of your shoulders right about now, but I'm far too relaxed to bother to do such a thing... ...Say, do you have anything to drink around here? Tea perhaps? Maybe even coffee?"

It began to rain as Ken walked, several strands of wet hair falling into his eyes shortly after the downpour began. He felt Medra and Tarlain retreat from the rain into that cave- Which was a good idea, considering what happened last time Medra was out in the rain too long. Tracing their mana as it settled into the cave, he averted his attention to the waterfall as he approached it.

Ken: By the God's this is going to get complicated fast.

His mind's eye traced along the flows of mana and located the surge of dark energy that was pouring out of Ryan. Something was different, and by the Black Orb's words that 'different' was Satan. He began to mistrust the orb.. It had come to him in a dream, almost too conviently.

Ken: Mmm. My mana is surgeing high.. Its like something is pumping out as much as it can to defend the Earth. Almost like an immune system..

Several drenched strands shifted down, blocking his vision entirely. He whiped them to the side, and looked up to the sky, his eyelids twitching as the droplets of rain tried to land on the surface of his eye.

Ken: Ducal.. I have to go to Ducal and ressurect my army..

Reaching into his pocket slowly, he slid the Black orb back out and tossed it to the ground. His gaze fell down to the orb, which glistened at him, questioning what he was doing. Hunching down, he smiled at the orb and nodded.

Ken: I understand your concern. But there is something I have to do..

His gaze shifted over to where his daughter was sleeping underneath the great ancient tree, and pointed twards her, looking back to the orb.

Ken: Go to her. She is my only daughter, and one of the most prized things in my life. She will get you to Celestine. God Speed.

Black Orb: ... ... As you wish. I am saddened by your departure, but your daughter is as trustworthy as you, I suppose?

Ken: You could say that.

Black Orb: Reassuring is a word that fits your personality, obviously.

Ken: I do my best, Mystical Orb.

Black Orb: Dont we all. Fare thee well.

The orb faded from veiw, no doubt entering the dreams of Ken's daughter, a soft black hue resinating a few seconds after it departed. Standing up straight again, he silently reached back, grasping the handle of his sword firmly.

Slashing foreward, a breif tearing sound interupted the sound of rain breifly, as a portal opened up to an unknown location. Stepping into it solemnly, he glanced back at Zelfoh as the portal zipped closed again..

Reopening high in the sky, over Europe..

Tarlain: Which do you prefer? Jasmine or Cinamon?

The demon in question raised one eyebrow. What did she have down here? A full blown kitchen?

Medra: ....Jasmine.

Tarlain: Oh good, that's all I have anyways.

She winked at him and set the kettle out, waved her hand over it, sprinkled the tea leaves into the base, and poured two cups of tea. She handed one to him and calmly gulped the other down, steaming hot. Medra sipped his thoughtfully.

Tarlain: What do you think?

Medra: Which variety?

Tarlain: White.....the kind that induces fertility, sleep, and is generaly known as an aphrodisiac.

The female Dragouret smiled broadly. Then winked once more. Medra looked down at the tea leaves in his cup.

Medra: You're kidding.

Tarlain: Not really.

She shrugged and gave him a long look.

Medra: "I suppose I didn't actually specify, so I really can't blame you.." !!! "I really think this cave has some sort of magical bonding around it that prevents me from being me."

Tarlain: "It has some mana flow through it, but nothing what you're talking about."

Medra: "Let me guess... Something to do with protection and revealing one's true purpose? ... This tea is like alcohol, I swear. It's making me, not only tired, but it's also giving me that warm feeling in my stomach. Just spiffy."

Tarlain giggled silently as Medra stumbled backwards onto the ground. A forceful 'thud' was heard as he fell straight back on his ***. He, however, managed to keep his cup of tea from not spilling. He took a long sip, before tossing the now-empty cup over his shoulder and into what closely resembled a sink.

Medra's eyes drooped, as did his arms. His legs came up in front of him, knees bent, as he did anything he could to stay awake. There he sat, on the cool, damp cave floor with his arms drapped over his knees which where now even with his chest. He sat in this fetal-like position, trying to make sure that he WASN'T drunk or that if he was, what was real and what was not.

Tarlain: Before you start wondering, let me tell you right now......you are not drunk.

He looked up at her like she was some sort of new and exotic creature. She grinned back at him, tail swishing across her legs.

Medra: Oh really? Then explain the mushy feeling...

Tarlain: I think you're just embarassed by me.

She smiled and sat dowd next to him, hair falling around her face.... The female Dragouret was close enough to where Medra could see the thin light coat of baby fur on her body. And in the pale moonlight reflecting off the water, she glistened like a star.

His eyes opened then half shut again.

Medra: It's making me sleepy.

She noded and yawned to herself.

Tarlain: That's what it's supposed to do silly.

Celestine closed her eyes, and whispered as the demons crawled towards her, claws sharp as they hissed and snarled. Ast' ul' ne atta'...

A demon pounced at Celestine, its cat-like features distorted into a demonly, rotten figure. Celestine's palms opened, as a jolt of ice flew onto its stomach, then its throat, shocking it as it froze in mid-step. Another one leaped, and Celestine drew her sai, and slashed the sai at it, its blade roughly slitting its arm. She twirled her sai, and swung it once more at its side, and pulled the weapon away, bewildered at what she had done.

Celestine's eyes narrowed. She pulled her right hand up, so her palm faced the celing. A few bolders fell from the top of the cave, collapsing on the beasts that lay below. She pulled a few more down, just as a demon pounced once more, scraping her shoulder and arm.

"Tarlain... When I get out of here-"

Another demon pounced, catching Celestine's eye in mid-jump. Celestine turned immediately, and thrust her sai into the stomach of the creature. She drew her weapon back, only to see there was no blood on the blade...

A bigger creature's massive claws swung at her head, as she dodged and went down to the floor, swinging her legs across the floor. The monster kicked at Celestine's body, kicking her to another side of the cave, causing her to drop both of her sai.

The sky was a piercing light blue, not a cloud blemished the perfection of it. A light breeze blew through the air, Ken's hair shifting to the side uneasily, his gaze focused on the rolling plains below him- The quaintness of it all was makeing him pratically sick.

He was ready to get to his work- The ressurection of the greatest military power that there ever had been, and ever will be. The one force that, joined with the Angels, would at least stand as a defense for whatever was left to fight for on this God forsaken planet.

His miserable past started within the Ducal Army, stretching forth into the oblivion it now was. Most recruits of the army had been trained from a young age, and it was no different with Ken. His alligance had faultered after his mission to slay the Undead Dragon had caused this all to happen, but he knew he was the last General that was still living.

Ken: These will be the humans that help their descendents- I think. I hope. Goddamnit, I have no other option.

He descended slowly, landing lightly on the ground with a 'clank' from the shifting armor. He glanced around briefly, searching for the best place to start this whole thing. Finally, he decided he was in the best wide-open space in the whole area, and he nodded to himself- it was time.

Standing compltely straight, he placed his hands together as if to pray, and began to chant, while staring upwards to the sky. His words were too soft to hear, yet they echoed around the immiediate area, causing an eerie calmness to fall on the area as he spoke, the reverberation of his words intenseifying.

On the horizon, black storm clouds began to form with a furious speed, quickly overtaking the once placid, picturesque heavens. Thunder rolled across the storm, as a steady stream of rain began pelting Ken, as his chant continued progressively, several already drenched strands of his hair falling back down into his face.

A soft rumbleing began to come forth from the ground, as a fissure formed- Small at first, but quickly growing in size with the prepetual spellcasting. An orange hue began to emit from within it, as lightning tore downwards from the now-violent atmosphere, causing the whole scene to look like a horror scene- Which it was quickly turning into.

The fissure kept on splitting open, slowly makeing its way away from Ken, the orange hue quickly following. The hands grabbed onto the edges of the fissure, and began to pull themselves up, as the sudden outpouring of mana caused vents of steam to break the surface around the fissure.

The first few soldiers crawled out, naked, and stumbled foreward breifly, as the rain washed off some kind of slime that was all over their body. Each of them was quivering, a few going into breif convlusions, as the rain drenched them as well. Where they had just ascended, more hands shot up, as suits of dark blue knights armor appeared on them, their eyes snapping open as their purpose became clear- To serve the General.

The thunderstorm began to rotate around them, turning into something near a hurricane as it did, the rain somehow intenseifying to a level where it stung as it hit your skin. Ken concentrated, as more and more soldiers crawled out of the depths of Death, the already risen ones lineing up besides the fissure, standing to attention in near perfection.

Behind Ken, another fissure ripped open with the same ferociousity as the first, suprising Ken and causing him to turn around. A priest, dressed in the traditional Dark Blue of the Ducal nation, was chanting the same spell as he was, nodding to Ken breifly while he did.

Nodding back to him, he turned back around and reintiated the spell, as the steam vents exploded outwards, some distant ones growing to be 10-12 feet in diameter. For any who wanted to check it, a clear signature of what was going on was being emitted to every corner of the Earth.. Not that anyone could stop Ken now.

Tarlain's eyes snapped and sparkled in the night and she tilted her head to one side.....her ears rotated until the sounds from the Flame's chamber were coming directly towards her eardrum. They echoed quietly through her mind, and she smiled slightly.

Celestine: Oh damnit!

Tarlain: .....Let go! Use the spirit I have strengthened for you....

The female in question felt the stone around her neck once more, then she concentrated on her feelings once more.

Immediatly the stone around her neck flared white, reflecting the lights in her eyes... Her rage went wild and her energy level surged to her highest point yet.

Tarlain smiled where she was and closed her eyes once more.
