Bing
MiNoRiTy RePoRt with Tom Cruise  Hello My Fellow Otaku Boarders, Did any of you people get to see Minority Report, with Tom Cruise. It was the best film I have seen this year. I will be the first to buy it on DVD, and I hope it's how I remember it! What did those of you who saw it think of it? :box:
Pyrophobic
I thought it was fantastic. A sci-fi film with a plausible plot! Wonderful idea, lovely delivery and some nice special effects. It's also a good statement about human free will, I find, which gives it that extra dimension. I'm certainly buying it on video for Christmas! What were your favourite parts, people? I hold a particular liking of the 'rolling eyeballs' and spiders scenes - but I guess the beginning was the best part as it really plunged you into the action. Bing
I liked the part where he was jumping from car to car on the roofs. I thought that was great! Also, the 'airpack' scene, where his ex-collegues chased him with the airpacks. That was great. The plot was very exciting, and even though you knew what happened before it did, the plot unfolded and you were still shocked! Bloody great film, and on a 2 disc DVD, so hopefully LOTS of special features! yay! I might even get the games, ubt supposedly, it doesn't match up to the film! Mist
I liked the parts that went into Agatha's mind. (I think that was her name...) and I liked the part where the crime was solved. Very smart, in my mind.
Guest wgch
Oh yeah it's on DVD - i think i'll get it and ...hrmm and maybe scarface too. Yeah that'll be good
Bing
I just think the director is a genius. His combination of past, present and future had me transfixed to the screen for the whole two - three hours, however long it was, I can't really remember to be honest with you! Just though it was a great film, and everyone should see it if they get the chance
Guest Matt
I liked it. There were many times when I thought the movie would end, but it didn't. That makes a good movie in my opinion. :)
amibasuki
it was okay. parts of it I liked, but I haven't seen it in a good while, so I can't recall what they were.

Red
The eye scene was hilarious in my opinion, just seemed very comical.. let the good times roll as they say, lol. I think the whole concept is an excellent one, as it brings up a lot of issues that make you think hard. The fight scene in the car factory was excellent as well.
Devidramon
I loved that movie. Agatha?s performance was great (anybody get the name of whoever played her?) And the way he hid in the ice to avoid the infrared... smart. And that woman and her creepy plants were cool.

Schrat
boogeta, believe me, It aint that good. I found the special effects and everything cool. But I found the story so hard to follow...Maybe thats because me and my feinds were fooling around, hehe....I dont know, i might pick the movie up on dvd, just to see it in peace
Bing
Well if you were fooling around in the cinema, you wouldn't get the plot. It needs alot of attention, and this was probably the only time I didn't flip over the seats and lob sweets! It is worth a watch, maybe you could rent it, or burrow it off a mate! That would be my advice! Maybe, you shouldn't take it back....mwahahahaha! :)
Zidargh
All I can say is I was scared, lol. Well I was at some parts. To be honest, I didnt really enjoy this film as I found it quite disturbing. I dont have a clue why as I've seen things much worse than that, but either way, the tension was huge. I didnt really understand it at first but that doesnt matter. In my opinion it was an 'OKish' film.
BondFanatic
I enjoyed the film. It had good action, and a very interesting plot.
It was crazy how the Police Chief was the one who set him up, not the government agent.
Plus, my friend was an extra in the pool scene. BigCajones
I got the DVD and I saw it before I find it really cool! The extra features are good, haven't seen them all yet. I found it hilarious when Agatha told John to drop the money on the floor for the tramp and the police officers tripped over the tramp lol. Don't know why it jus was funny. Also the twist at the end was well good it sure had me fooled. I may get the game and hope that it is as good as the film!
Bing
The game is supposedly really bad! It got really bad reviews. I found that part that BigCajones mentioned really funny! The whole plot was really clever, especially how they managed to fit everything into the predictions. Does anybody know who directed it and who wrote the plot?
BigCajones
I know it was a Steven Spielberg film and he directed it so I'm guessing he did the plot but I'm not sure about that one. The predictions were really good and they kept playing the one about Agatha's mum getting killed by that police chief. If a red ball doesn't drop why should people be scared of a gun to your head lol?
Bing
If a red ball doesn't drop why should people be scared of a gun to your head lol?
Cajones, can you explain that. I liked the way the film was like, one huge muddled-up jigsaw, and in the end, it all fitted together, if you understand what I mean?
BigCajones
Yeah I know it was a joke. The governor dude said it though when John was trying to runaway from the police centre in the lift they met and John was accusing him of setting him up. He put a gun to his head and governor man says put the gun down I didn't hear a red ball drop which I thought was clever(red balls they say whos going to die). Yes i enjoyed the jigsaw effect too! Bing
Got it on DVD this morning! I can't wait to rip open the special features etc. I am going to watch it over and over again, like I did with Fight Club. I was thinking, does the machine predict suicides? That is a good point, I never realised that anyone said about that! You could be really lippy to people...lol, it would be pretty funny, until a red ball dropped ^_^
