Record of Lodoss War OVA theme... Record of Lodoss War Chronicles Of the Heroic Knight theme... WHICH IS BETTER!!?? They are so beautifull...gosh I guess It's just me but the first one is more....beautiful, but the second one is sorta..really gripping.....I like both... What bout you folks? My favorite openings are Duvet(Serial Experiments Lain), Velvet Underworld (Weiss Kreuz), and Scarlet. (Ayashi no Ceres...the second version anyways.) Solo Tremaine Posted December 2, 2002 Share Posted December 2, 2002 I'm split between 'Cruel Angel's Thesis' (Eva) and 'Wild Flowers', 'Chase' and 'Song for...' (all from the Japanese series of Zoids). They're my favourite themes. But I have a special nostalgia for 'Target' and 'Butter-fly'- Digimon Adventure 02 and 01 themes respectively. Basically, I like any ones with electric guitars and good orchestration, with as much or as little synth as necessary. Personally, I'm not too keen on the Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star themes because they're quite different to what I'm used to, and I just don't find them that good. Its great and it even drove me to get the extended version :P Next is Reincarnation from Tekkaman Blade. Cruel Angel's Thesis is cool too. I'm disappointed in you, Kevin. ;) My favorite song is probably the opening theme for Outlaw Star. It has a very cool tune that's fast pace and catches your, um...ears. As for See Saw the reason I like that song is for the fact it's a romance song. I'm a bigger sucker for that type of stuff and the singer is rather popular in Japan. :wigout: So ok people please discuss also why you like the theme songs you do. :p Happy Syk3? And I think the Chronicles opening is sea of miracles...but I can't quite remember... Anyway, I prefer the ova theme, because I think it's gorgeous. Lovely music, and when I finally watched the anime and saw the translation, I fell in love all over again. ;) It has really nice lyrics, and I thought they were really sweet. ^-^ As for the Chronicles opening, I really like the song, but I would never place it over adesso e fortuna. ^^ Actually, I like the ending theme for the chronicles, Hikari no suashi much better. Most of the stuff on adult swim. The original opening to the later dbz eps. I think something like "we've got power" But most of all, that opening to outlaw star rocks! Through the night is a great song. ^-^ I loved all the music from Outlaw Star so much I even bought both the OSTs... And YYH has a nice opening, too. Although the US version was butchered... The first ending was Hiro no Tsuki and the second was Tsuki no le, I loved 'em both. ^-^ Hiro no Tsuki is such a pretty song... Melfina's seiyuu has such a nice voice. ^^ That song made me sad when I heard it, too. I'm with you on the drawings the show at the end, I always loved them. Through the Night from Outlaw Star is good as well. Kenshin's opening sucked. I hate Judy & Mary, but their ending themes always rocked. The Yellow Monkey, TM Revolution, Bonnie Pink, Siam Shade, and L'Arc~en~Ciel did those endings. Very good stuff. And ofcourse Zankoku Na Tenshi No Teze from Evangelion. The yu yu one (i forget name, but the subbed one, the dubs slightly diffrent since they made it rhyme) 3. through the night (we all know from where) 4. Back to more songs...Let's see who I forgot... Well I kinda like tho opening to YU YU..But I gotta hear it again in its original form. The dubbed versions music is nice...But I can't remember how it was in Japanese... Also...where is it possible to find the songs from animes. I always wanna get some but never seem to find em.
