Yorko smiled back.

Yorko: So alike, yet so different

Rev: What do you mean by that?

Yorko: It's just a term I picked up. We've all probably had rough pasts, and tachnically we should all be in the same frame of mind. Yet..

Rev: We're not

They both laugh at that thought. They had walked beyond the rec room without relising it and were in front of a large window. Yorko looked out over the streach of Earth that was visible. She never been to a colonie in her life, she had lived in fear on this planet. According to her father, on one of the very rare occassions she had met him, she hadn't been born on Earth. But Yorko suspected that he had been lying to her.

Yorko: Wonder what the others would say if they heard us going on like this?

Rev: Eh?

Yorko: You definatly won't understand Rev. It's a girl term

Rev smiled and looked out towards the setting sun. Yorko looked towards it to, something was brewing on the horizon but what it was hard to tell. She looked at Rev and was struck by an unusal thought.

Yorko: Rev, want to do something a bit crazy?

ooc:okay, sorry about were I left off but I can't think of anything right now. So whoever wants to post, feel free.

[COLOR=blue][i]Vincent was sitting in the hangar, just thinking. "What if these Mobile Dolls attack the base? We'd have to flee back to space, but what if Dark Ring has MDs in space already?" Vincent's mind rolled over the possibilities, he just couldn't deal with these kind of worries. He went to the comm room and turned on the base's PA.[/i]

Vincent: Okay, i need to talk to everyone, will you please come to the briefing room??

[i]After about 10 minutes everyone was in the briefing room. Vincent walked in front of the others and started to talk about his plan.[/i]

Vincent: Okay, you know that Konru has told us of the Mobile Dolls, well I have some news, if this base comes under attack, we are not to try and protect it.

Rev: WHAT????

Vincent: If we did we would just be fiighting a downhill battle, have you forgotten how powerful the Mobile dolls were against the original five gundam pilots?? And they even had Wing Zero, and the Mobile Dolls back then were with those worthless clunky Virgo's. So if the Dark Ring has mass produced Serpent Mobile Dolls then we should just activate the base's self-destruct system and leave it. By the way, has anyone seen Jet??

[i]Just then an emergency transmission appeared on the main vid screen, it was jet, he was still in the tallgeese and was injured, also there was a squadron of Serpens approaching as well.[/i]

Vincent: Okay, you know the drill. Rev, you go get Jet, i'm gonna go introduce our little guests to Phoenix.

Yorko: Don't forget about me.

Konru: Or me.

Orien: I'll just stay here and keep you guys updated on any changes.

Marimea: I'll stay here, also these are the weak spots on the Serpents: The knee joints and the arm joints, if either of those are hit them poof! that entire side falls apart.

[i]The four gundam pilots ran for their gundams and started them up, Phoenix was the first out, its eyes glaring a brilliant green.[/i][/COLOR]

Yorko activated Okami within a few seconds and took off after Phoenix. This was the sort of thing she was more used to. But something was worrying her. How could they have found where they were here. True the place had pratically be destoryed and they would notice it but to actually guess or know that they were there, it was worrying to say the least.

She snapped out of it. That was one thing she could not afford to do. To lose concentration was not a good thing. She scanned the serpants and grinned this was going to be a good battle, she could already feel it.

Yorko: Guys, keep together on this one. These things are deadly and dangerous. We can't afford to lose anyone, not after what we've been through

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Vincent couldn't help but grin, he silently agreed and then fired a large shot into a group of Serpents, after the shot dissappated nothing of the group was left. A single Serpent then tried to attack him but Phoenix drove its shield into its head and then the MS went dead. Phoenix then turned around and Vincent was looking at a large group of Serpents.[/i]

Vincent: Play times over boys. Now die!!!

[i]Phoenix's eyes flared brilliant green and then cocked its rifle and a super charged shot lurched forward and completly destroyed the suits. Phoenix was now out of ammo, it unsheathed its saber and shot into a whole group and started to slice and dice. After that entire group exploded a single Serpent came at him fast and Vincent stood Phoenix up and jumped upwards and brought Phoenix's saber down and sliced the Serpent in half.[/i]

Vincent: Rev, how many have you hacked up?

Rev: Oh i don't know, too many to count, why?

Vincent: I've got 50 now. Wanna start keeping track?

Rev: Okay, that's 52!

Vincent: Cheater!

Rev: Really i've hacked up that many.

Vincent: Sure. Oooh, trying to sneak up on me eh?

[i]Phoenix turned around and slashed a Serpent in half diagonally.[/i][/COLOR]

[DuoMax]

Janak eyes were bloodshot as he shot of some cloud cover, wielding his tident. "DIE YOU SON OF *****!!!" He shouted as his weapon slashed straight for the chest of phoenix "DIE FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY MEN!!!" he screamed wordlessly as he felt his blade connect with something.

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Vincent had just hacked another Serpent in half when his sensors picked up an all too familiar MS, it was Janak, and just as Phoenix turned to meet him there was its trident aiming straight for the cockpit, Vincent thought fast and brough the right arm up and the trident struck the thick gundianium alloy shield and ricocheted off Vincent brought Phoenix's saber up in an offensive position.[/i]

Vincent:[i]to himself[/i] You just won't give up Janak will you???

[i]The two pilots squared off in their mobile suits and got ready for a long fight.[/i][/COLOR]

[DuoMax]

"DIE!!" Janak ripped his trident straight throught thew arm of Phoenix. "DIEDIEDIE!!!" Anger filled janak. Why wouldn't these MS pilots die? Ezpecially Vincent! "You will die!!!!!!!!!"

[Walnut]

Yorko finished off another group of Serpents and spun around to face off another group. Suddenly she spotted Vin in a another battle with Deamon (ooc:sorry duomax if I spelt it wrong).

Yorko: Bloody hell, what on earth is he thinking of doing? Hey Rev, Konru our old friend is back

Rev: What? How did he survive?

Yorko: Don't ask me!

Another group came at Okami, this lot in a tightly packed formation. Yorko sighed and shook her head. Okami let lose another spinning disc and soon they were abilterated.

Yorko: Havn't they already tried that? Never learn do they

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Vincent couldn't believe that Janak was so determined to kill him, he could at least give up, but he didn't, and Vincent liked that. But of course Daemon charged at Phoenix but Phoenix sidstepped and avoided what would have been a blow to the chest area again. Vincent brought down Phoenix's saber and struck Daemon in the shoulder, the shoulder cover sliced off but that was all. Daemon stood up and its eyes flared brilliant red and Janak laughed maniaclly.[/i]

Janak: HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! YOU FOOL! DAEMON IS INVINCIBLE!!!

Vincent: We'll see about that.....

[i]Phoenix's eyes flared bright green and both Mobile suits charged forward and their weapons clashed, they fell back and thats when Vincent went on the offensive, he started to swipe at Daemon untill Daemon grabbed the arm and wrenched it off, now Phoenix was down to its left arm, Vincent shot for the beam saber and grabbed it, Daemon charged again and Vincent sidestepped again and this time dealt a blow, he sliced off the right arm of Daemon, they were matched again. Vincent opened a channel to the base and got ahold of Marimea.[/i]

Vincent: If things get any worse I want you guys to head for the HLV unit in hanger #1 and prep the others for recieveing the gundams, i'll then take off in Phoenix and detonate the base, that is if things go downhill any further.

Marimea: I already anticipated this would happen, i've set the base's main core to self-destruct with this numeric code, but we'll wait if worse comes to worse then we'll go with your plan.

Vincent: Okay, tell the others that i'm giving that order okay?

Marimea: Okay.

[Zerosaber]

Jet woke up after hearing a large explosion. He felt a little better but his side was killing him.

Jet: Is anyone out there I need help. This is Pilot125934 of the tallgeese IV can anyone see or hear me. Tallgeese is very damaged and is unable to move.

???: What is your position over

Jet: who is this

[Walnut]

Jet: who is this

Yorko: Yorko, gundam Okami. What's your position?

Jet: I'm not sure

Yorko sighed irritably and placed a homing lock on his transmisson, not before sending another round off at a single serpent that was heading in Rev's direction.

Yorko: stay where you are, and [i]don't[/i] try anything funny.

[Sui Generis]

Rev: Nothing funny? No fun...

[i]He smirked and nodded towards Yorko. His sensors flashed red. His cockpit began to shake violently. Lalaith fell to the ground from the impact of the hit.[/i]

Rev: Crap! What was that?! That couldn't have been one shot!

[i]Rev looked in the direction of where the blast had come from. He saw four scorpios holding a gun. His eyes grew huge. It was a new cannon. He cursed and got off the ground immediatly. He had to take those Mobile Dolls out and quick! He quickly thrusted towards his new enemies. He zig-zagged towards them. The cannon began glowing bright red. Suddenly a huge beam went flying by Rev. He sighed. It missed him barely. He grinned as he was in striking distance. He drew his scythe and swung cutting straight through the first doll.[/i]

Rev: "Hey guess what....53...."

[i]He swung again cutting the doll's partner straight through.[/i]

Rev: "54...55...56...And I've got a new toy...."

[i]Lalaith bent down and picked up the new cannon. It struggled under the weight of the cannon. It had to way atleast 5 times a normal mobile suit. He grimaced and aimed it at Janek. He wasn't going to let his friend be in danger. The cannon began to slowly glow red and Rev took aim.[/i]

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Vincent felt like he was fighting an uphill battle with Janak, but Vincent wouldn't give up, just then his sensors picked up a large energy source. Vincent turned and saw Lalith Gundam holding a huge beam cannon, just then, in that moment that Vincent let his guard down did Janak hack off his other arm and then grabbed Phoenix and held in front of him as a sheild.[/i]

Janak: You fire you kill your friend.

Rev: ......

[i]Vincent opened a channel to Rev and nodded at him. In a split second three things happened: First Vincent opened the cockpit hatch and bailed, then Rev fired the cannon, and lastly Janak realized what was happening and got out of the way, but with the cost of Daemon losing all of its right armor plating. Vincent had gotten far enough that he wasn't hit with the heat or the explosion, but he was thrown quite a distance and a peice of shrapnel did lodge itself into his leg. Rev saw Vincent laying there with his face in the ground, he had Lalith pick up Vincent and Rev opened the cockpit and Vincent climbed in.[/i]

Vincent: Open a channel to the base.

[i]Marimea's face appeared on the screen.[/i]

Vincent: Begin the countdown. We're leaving. Rev, get us to the HLV 2 launch pad. These units were made by Dark Ring and I know that these puppies are heavily armored. Oh Marimea, does everyone else know?

Marimea: Yes. Orien and i are in HLV unit 1. Untis 2, 3, and 4 are on standby. Okay. As soon as the last HLV takes off activate the self-destruct sequence and a 30 second timer will be set.

Vincent: Okay. We'll meet you on the L1 colony, Heero is waiting for us there.

[i]Lalith got into the HLV launch pad and loaded up. Soon the others bailed and were in their HLV's But Yorko had managed to fight her way to Jet and hauled his MS aboard too. Now as the HLV's launched Marimea pressed in the code and set the timer for the destruct sequence. Now, as the HLV's were a good distance up Vincent looked out the window and saw a huge plume of fire and smoke appear from where the base was. Back on the ground Daemon stood atop a cliff that overlooked the crater that was a few seconds ago California base.[/i]

Vincent: Okay guys. We'll see you on the L1 colony.

[i]The HLVs took off for the colony.[/i]

ooc: I'll just let you lot know now, Yorko hasn't been to pace for a long time, so you'll have to forgive her reactions.

Yorko looked out of the window and watched as the Earth Sphere gradually became more compact in the window. She couldn't really recall ever seeing the Earth like that before. But it had been a while since she had been in space, let alone to the L1 cluster. Actually she had never been there in her life, this could prove more than interesting.

She thought about the dolls and tried to recall a memory but nothing came. She snapped out of it, she was starting to think a little too quickly and not foucing on where she was. But something had started to bug her and she didn't know what.

Rev: Hey, earth to Yorko. Are you alive? *prods her*

Yorko: Wha? Oww, Rev!

Rev: Welcome back to reality, I was asking if you were okay?

Yorko: *none to convicenly* Yeah, I'm...fine

[i]Rev looked at her frowning. It was obviouse that something was wrong. The problem was he didn't want to pry. She might get mad. He couldn't have that happen. He hated when people where mad at him, ecspecially her. He sighed and looked out the window. He thought it'd be best if he left her to her own thoughts. He watched the stars. They were everywhere. He smiled. Earth and Space. Completely oppostie, but equally beautiful.[/i]

Rev: Its beatiful isn't it?

Yorko: What? Oh space. Yeah I guess...

[i]Rev looked over at Yorko again and smiled. He turned back to the window and continued to look out at the stars. He decided he'd leave her alone untill they reached the colony. That'd give her enough time.[/i]

[Walnut]

Yorko smiled at Rev's enquires but could not get the feeling to leave her. This was getting stupid, there was nothing going on. Nothing. Maybe that's what was worrying her, nothing out of the ordinary had happened, bar the destrustion of the base, but the Dark Ring were far to quiet for her liking.

Her mind drifted to the battle with Janak and the dolls. They had almost been too easy, and it was strange for the enemy to play such tactics. She shook her head and decied to try and focus on summat else.

Yorko: Rev, what are the colonies like?

Rev: huh?

Yorko: *embarrased* I haven't really been to one in a while. I was practically brought up on earth. Not in a colonie. Any help would be handy

[color=red][i]Janak was furious. He had lost to the Gundam Pilots again. AGAIN! They would pay. He just needed to find out a way to get at them...hurt them. Wait..that was it. Earth base...yes...that was how he would get at them. Janak began to chuckle to himself as he began to form the plan in his head[/i] [/color]

[i]Rev looked out the window again smiling then turned towards Yorko. He sat there thinking for a moment then nodded.[/i]

Rev: The colonies are great. Its amazing they stay up. They're a great copy of Earth. Its alittle rough around the edges and you better watch yourself, but once you've established yourself its a pretty cool place. I love the colonies. I grew up on them so I guess you really can't expect anything else. I think you'll like it, you seem tough enough to handle yourself.

[i]Suddenly a light buzzing sound ran through the ship.[/i]

[b]Attention. We will be landing on the L1 Colony in approximatly 15 minutes.[/b]

[i]Rev looked outside and smiled as he saw the colony. It looked like a hunk of metal from the outside, but it hid some beautiful things. Rev nodded towards Yorko. He pointed to the colony, and smiled.[/i]

Rev: Thats it! I know it doesn't look like much now, but wait untill we land. Life is much more fast paced her, but don't worry. Just stay relaxed and you'll be able to watch everyone fly by.

[i]He smiled and went to the back of the ship to check on his Gundam.[/i]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Vincent had been sitting on a med bay, his leg had been bandaged courtesy of Marimea, the peice of metal that had hit Vincent in the leg was a reminant of Phoenix. After sitting in the bay for about an hour, after sitting there a buzzing sound went off announcing that the HLV was arriving at the Colony. A hangar that Heero had specifically for his use only no questions asked was the destination. The docking took about 10 minutes. After the ship docked Vincent walked off and saw Heero standing there. His eyes had a somewhat pissed expression.[/i]

Heero: You blew it up?

Vincent: Yeah, had to.

Heero: Okay, I've got a new toy for you.

Vincent: You do?

Heero: Yes, everyone follow me.

[i]The group followed Heero into a huge MS hangar where the remaing gundams were being hauled into.[/i]

Heero: I was going to save this for later but since Phoenix is dead it shall be revived with this.

[i]They had come to a halt in front of a darkened outline of a gundam, heero threw the switch and there before them stood Wing Zero, or what looked like Wing Zero.[/i]

Vincent: I thought....

Heero: It was but i rebuilt it and it still has the Zero System, except i've taken it down somewhat for your level.

Vincent: Thanks.

Heero: Also, to the rest of you, your mentors are here with upgrades for your gundams, they will be next to your gundams. Okay?

The rest: Okay.

[i]Everyone dispersed and headed towards their gundams. Vincent stood there looking at Wing Zero, its huge angelic wings hanging down at its sides and a face that looked determined and yet depressed. Vincent took the lift up to the high level catwalk and jumped onto the shoulder of Wing Zero and sat there, he couldn't believe Wing Zero was his, this was a great honor. "Heh, once i'm feeling better i'm take this out for a test run, I can't wait!" Vincent slid off the shoulder and into the cockpit, he decided to check out the setup of Zero's cockpit controls.[/i][/COLOR]

Yorko headed towards Okami with a feeling of joy. She would enjoy herself here, and to have an upgrade that was definatly something better. True she wouldn't give up Okami for the world but in space the battles would be alot harder.

The hanger was pratically identical to those on earth and she found her way reasonably well, considering that she didn't really know anyone there at all. Okami stood looking tall and proud, a little battered maybe but that was to be expected. The next Zero system would be interesting but she was not prepared to go messing on with things she did not fully understand or know about. That was one of her vices in life, not to trust something until she was sure about it in herself.

She looked around the various tech's and personel that were scattered around, but there was no sign of Wufei at all. She frowned slightly, she probably missed him in this crowd, but as she looked more closly she relised that he was not actually there.

Yorko: Typical, never find him at the best of times

She walked towards Okami and leaned on the rail. She felt a complete fool for thinking that he would be here, but that was one thing she had come to learn. Heero walked towards her and unfamiliar grin on his face.

Heero: Ah Yorko, Wufei's...

Yorko: Not here. I kinda guessed. He's never anywhere when you need him

Heero: Actually he's got a reason for not being here. He had some bussiness back on earth...and before you ask I don't have a clue what it was. He was intending to stay here and check on how you were but you know what he's like

Yorko: Yeah, I suspose

Heero: He did say to send his greetings and he talked quite highly of you. So he must have made a good choice in his choice of pilot. But do me one thing Yorko, cheer up a bit will you?

Yorko: Yes sir *thinks to herself* Wow, Wufei spoke highly of me? That's unusal but hey I can always annoy him with it next time I see him....if there's a next time

ooc: I needed Wufei back on earth for a reason which you'll all learn about in a couple of posts time. Soz if it causes any probs.

[Sui Generis]

[i]Rev ran up to Duo. His face showed a huge as he saw his old friend. He stuck his hand out and the two shook hands firmly. Rev smiled again.[/i]

Duo: "Long time no see. Heard alot about whats been going on. Nice job by the way."

Rev: "Thanks. These guys are good. Fancy the way I met Vince over there."

Duo: "Yeah, luck..."

[i]Rev shrugged. He looked turned his head to look at Yorko for a minute. She looked depressed. Wufei wasn't there. Heero walked up to her. He could here the dicussion. Rev paused for a moment more than looked back at Duo, who by now was smiling.[/i]

Rev: "WHAT?"

[i]Duo looked at him again and shook his head. He laughed. Rev eyed him, then turned to his Gundam.[/i]

Rev: "Hm...I don't see much that could be done..."

Duo: "Well I took the liberty of modifying it a bit. I took off a little armor, to increase the speed. Also I added another mounted machine gun on both your shoulders. So technically you're gonna be slowed down abit, but I think you can handel it. The reaction time has lowered, so reactions are quicker, speed slowed. I think it'll be a well balanced piece of equipment."

Rev: "You did a great job....Thanks again."

[i]Rev stuck out his hand again and shook Duo's hand. He looked over at Yorko again.[/i]

Duo: "Go ahead..."

[i]Duo laughed. Rev scowled then walked towards Yorko.[/i]

Rev: "Heard the old stubborn goat is proud of you, congrats."

[i]He smiled as Yorko's head snapped so she faced his direction.[/i]

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Vincent headed over to Rev, a huge grin on his face.[/i]

Vincent: Hey Rev! I wanna spar with you. In our gundams of course.

Rev: Okay! Let's go!

[i]The two slipped into their norm suits and climbed into their cockpits and Wing Zero shot off into the neutral area of the colony, Lalith followed as well. Vincent flared out Wing Zero's wings and unsheathed its beam saber and got into a fighting stance. Lalith drew its scythe and got in a fighting stance as well. Vincent activated the thrusters, he obviously didn't realize how fast the verniers were. He shot right past Lalith, he wheeled Zero around and this time went somewhat slower and the two started sparring, their weapons set at their lowest setting. Vincent popped up on Rev's HUD.[/i]

Vincent: Come on! I know you can do better.

Rev: Okay, this time i'm not holding back.

[i]Rev kicked it into high gear and started to perform really well, Vincent was having a hard time with matching his movements, then he remembered, the Zero System, he pressed the red button and the helmet slid down over his face and then it seemed like he became a machine. Rev noticed this when Zero started to fight back with a much stronger ferocity.[/i]

Rev: Vincent? You okay over there?

Vincent:.....Commence destruction.

[i]Zero's eyes flared and then the saber went back to its strongest setting and Zero hacked off both of Lalith's arms. The Zero had taken controll. Back in the controll room Heero saw what was happening, he tried to overide the system but it wouldn't. Back outside the colony, Zero had left Lalith alone without its arms. It had now come to a halt and just seemed to shut down. In Zero's cockpit Vincent had passed out. The system had knocked him out. Heero took a standard Leo out and towed in both suits.[/i]

Heero: I guess the system is still to strong, i'll have to lock it out of Zero until i can take it down another level.

Rev: Hey Heero, is Vincent gonna be okay?

Heero: I think so. I dont' think anything is wrong with him.[/COLOR]

[color=red][i]Meanwhile, back on earth, Janak was supervising the repairs on the Daemon Gundam. He paced back and forth on the catwalk looking at his beloved machine of death[/i]
