Anime Best Villian in an Anime Goes to....

I want to start this off by saying to all Moderators, Super-Mods, Admins etc.. That if this thread has been created in the near past then please let me know. I will delete it as soon as I get something saying that it has. I went through some pages and didn't see anything like it so...

This thread is for you to tell who you think the best villian in an anime is. I don't want this to be spammy so please tell Who, Why you think they are the best villian, what anime they are on and maybe a little information about them so people can read a little bit about them incase they haven't seen the series or movie etc.. If this does start to get spamy with just sentences like ," I think Vegeta is." or anything like it I will delete it because this goes against the rules. I hope everyone has fun and if this goes well I might make another thread only with a different topic but similar to this. Confusing? Nevermind then. Thanks!


Now, to get onto who I think is the best villian:

[b]Villian:[/b] Vegeta
[b]Anime they are on:[/b] Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT.
[b]Info about them:[/b] Vegeta grew up as a Prince of the Sayians. He wasn't born mean and rude, that is just how he was brought up. That is how everyone was around him so that is why he became the person his is today. He traveled to the planet Earth to destroy it but Son Gokou stopped him from doing that. Vegeta always wanted to be the most powerful person in the universe, but he can't achieve that with Son Gokou in his way. Later on in the series he admits to Son Gokou that Gokou is better than him and he becomes a little bit nicer. He becomes part of the Z Gang but still acts as stubborn as he was when he first came to Earth.
[b]Why:[/b] Vegeta is a very interesting character. He tries to act tough in danger then ends up getting himself killed (Frieza Saga). But sometimes he shows a different side to him by accident and you just know that Vegeta is a nice guy inside. He isn ot your typical villian which makes him interesting to me, that is why I picked him as the best villian, even though he isn't a villian for long.[/size]

Villian: Dilandau
Anime they are on:Escaflowne
Info about them: Dilandau is the evil guy in Escaflowne that actually use to be Allen's sister! Apparently she was taken as a little girl and zibok (sp?) somehow made her into a guy.
Why: Dilandau is the best villian because he is crazy and that's what makes him really funny.

[b]Villain:[/b] Vicious

[b]Anime they are on:[/b] Cowboy Bebop

[b]Info about them:[/b] The main bad guy in the series, Vicious was previously an ally to Spike as they fought side-by-side in the old syndicate. Unfortunately, he turns on Spike and continues to try and kill him, being the head fighter for the Red-Dragon Syndicate. He fights Spike only twice during the series, and [spoiler]is finally killed the second time, in the last episode[/spoiler]. Vicious uses a sword to fight, and fights swift and strong, taking no mercy. Near the end, [spoiler]he ends up killing the people in charge of the Red-Dragon and becomes head of it. Vicious then goes to face his fate and die at the hands of Spike[/spoiler].

[b]Why:[/b] Vicious is my favorite bad guy because of the feel that the producers put around him. He is portrayed as a bad ***, and the sword just makes him appear even cooler. His ego isn't that big either, which I feel is overated for bad guys. He has a quiet, freaky voice, and is introduced into the series with death following in his path, and makes you feel as such everytime you meet him in the series, which isn't really that often. He has a very cool appearance as well, and never shows fear.

[size=1]Villian: Xellos

Anime they are on: Slayers Next

Info about them: The most powerful mazoku (demon) in his ranks. He feeds off the pain and emotions of other's (all mazoku are like this) and considering what he does on the whole quest you can tell he's got a big apitiet. Seems to disapear when help is needed most. His past is as mysterious as his age (acually I remember hearing somewere that he was about 3000 years old) and intention. Seem's to play both side's as he slowly steer's people into doing what he wants them to do. He specialize's in black magic and is surpriseingly a general aswell. Apparently he has been sent on a quest to guide Lina to Hell master Febrizo (sp? [Can't remember why at the moment -.-;]). So he pretends to be on Lina's side.

Why: He's one of my favorite villian's simply because he act's like a fool, allow's people beat him up (I think he acually enjoy's it... o.O; ) and annoy's them like heck. Pop's up out of nowere and disapear's when there is a fight (or when he's wanted/needed). Causes trouble and ends up getting what he want's in the end. On the rare ocations when he acually DOES something useful, you can see a glimer of his true power.[/size]

This is a good question. But I gotta say, although I love dbz to no end, I dont think I would put any dbz villians up, mainly because the best villian in dbz was vegeta or majin buu. Buu doesnt deserve this title and by the time vegeta showed all the traits that made him truely awesome, he wasnt the "villian" he once was.

Any way, best villian in my book can't go to just one guy.

I wanna say that there are many worth the title and so... I woulnt give the title unless it was an annual contest or something.

So just to name a few of my favs.

Vicious: the bastard is heartless.

The Politicians in Akira: they represent a greater problem in society in general)

Shin "master of southern cross": how can you get worse than trying to kill your friend and then stealing his fiance.

1. Legato (Trigun)- evil dude with psychic powers. there's something really creepy about him, knowing he could kill an entire city of people if he wanted to (not gonna say more than that).

2. Vicious (Cowboy Bebop)- pretty much the same as what everyone else said.

3. Nakago (Fushigi Yuugi)- I actually can't stand him for the life of me. I basically put him on here cuz I love hating him. he was basically one of those mental and emotional manipulators that got inside people's heads to get them to do what he wanted. there were countless times while watching the series that I wished Tamahome or Hotohori would just put their freaking swords through his stomach.[/FONT]

Well Sailor Moon usually has interesting villians and i am not ashamed to admit it!
lol but i have other favorites.....i don't remember who they are though.
They are either boyfriend and girlfriend or brother and sister. The girl dresses in red and the guy i think in blue. They are in these body suits and they live off of a huge tree. When they call villians they use cards. I haven't seen them in ages swo i forgot them and it drives me nuts.

Fushigi Yugi

I think that Nakago is one of the best villains ever! He has this really depressing past, that makes me sad jus thinking about it... POOR NAKKIEPOO!!! j/k Anyway. He's gorgous, with the blonde hair and blue eyes. *drool* But I really hate how all of the Seiryu 7 were so dang confused... They all thought that Suzaku was going to destroy the world! Yea and Seiryu wouldn't?? That was the only reason he was even against the Suzaku 7. I think that Nakago should have gona against the ugly Kutou Empoerer for what he did to him as a child. But no Nakago needed to have this life-long strategy to get back at him... Oh well it kinda worked in the end. maybe if Nakago didnt strategize so much his plans might have owkred ou ta little better most of the time. I mean how many of his plans fell through? How many Actually worked? Not that many... Well the whole Kudoku thing kinda worked... but then didn't
But hey he wasnt a *****... He was an ******* when he wanted to be. But at times you could see that he had a heart... like with Soi.. ok not getting into that.
yea so what none of his plans worked.. Uh,, isnt that the point of good overcoming evil? that evil always loses? yea... but Nakago wasn't really bad, if Watase had made Yui the main character and had everything from the Seiryu side, then Nakago wouldnt be so bad to anyone..and everyone owuld end up hating Tamahome...

Anime: Trigun
Info: Vash is considered a villian because he kills most people in his path. The person who catches him is rewarded with 60,000,000,000 dollars. Vash can be good, and bad, sorta like Vegeta.
Why: I like Vash because he is such a hilaurius charcter. He also is an acegunman. Probaly the best outlaw out there. I can't think of any better.

Lol, I'd hardly consider Vash a bad guy. :) He's a good character, and would kill himself before he'd kill anyone else. He can be serious, but I doubt one can go so far to call him a [i]villain[/i]. The time that he got the bounty on his head, that was an accident, and he didn't even cause any casualties.

[b]Info:[/b] Orochi is a god from hell, who was hidden behind the secret quarters of the King of Fighters Tornament. He was to destroy the champions of the match, so no one would be able to stop him when he wiped out the earth and turned it to an identical hell.
[b]Why:[/b] He's satan's main man, and he carries out his orders to destroy Kyo Kusangi when he reaches the top. Sooo... he's reincarnated several times into his normal body, but each time his powers get stronger. Also... He was supposed to bring a guy to the top, then knock him down afterwards. o_O
Not to mention he actually [i]looks[/i] like an evil god from the underworld sent to kill the main char, but then gets killed again, and-... erm... ^^;;;[/color] [/size]

He kills people who bother him while he's eating, kills people if they talk to him, hates humans and he's one himself!, death is interesting to him, has them crazy eyes, talks crazy, hurts people to mess with other people's heads, has no weapons but has a power that lets him kill people, and he's suicidal! This guy Large Grade A evil!

[b]Information:[/b] Without getting into too much detail, the Angels are basically aliens that take on different forms. So, they could be something like a computer virus, a human being or a giant robot.

[b]Why:[/b] Simple, really. Their unpredictability. You never know where they will strike. And as time goes on, they almost seem to learn your defense patterns and find ways around them. Their continually changing nature makes them a very difficult challenge, I think.[/color]

Info: The Impire wants to own the galaxy space. They will do anything just get it. But the Rebeal's won't let the good people down so quickly.
Why: I like the Impire beacause of the sweat gundams they have, and there leader.

My favorite villains would be the Rocket-Dan (Team Rocket) from Pokemon. They try to be good villains, but they're too unintelligent to realize that they aren't very good at it at all. This includes the various Dan-in, Yamato and Seibusaro (sp?) (Cassidy and Butch), Musashi and Kojiro (Jessie and James), Domino, Mondo, Sakaki (Giovanni), and Onna-Boss (Madame Boss).

I definitely agree with anyone who said Legato Bluesummers from Trigun. He was the freakiest bad guy to ever grace a television, or at least the one's i've seen.

[b]Information:[/b] Psychotic evil guy, hell bent on killing everyone in his way...

[b]Why:[/b] While this show turned into a straight brawler really quick, I think that Rando was still the strongest, and hardest to beat villian in any anime I have yet to see. The battle with him was very long and he almost killed Kuwabara. However he reminded me alot of Furiza from the DBZ series, he still has a strong role. :p[/size]

Villain: Zechs Marquis (AKA Milliardo Peacecraft/Lightning Count)

Anime: Gundam Wing

Information: Former member of the dreaded Oz and crafty leader of the White Fang.

Why: Zechs has got to be one of the most intelligent villains that I've seen in any anime. He had everything planned out just right. If it wasnt for Heero, he more than likely would've destroyed the earth just like he had planned(to bad he under estimated Heero and Wing Zero). But Zechs is my favorite because with him, you combine 2 of the most dangerous attributes together(brutality and intelligence)and you have yourself the deadliest villian of all time. :D
