Guest Starlaw
Well we all know that the Dragonball/Z/GT series have alot of plot holes. I have been wondering about this one for a while now. I am really not sure if it is indeed a plot hole or I am just missing something. :therock: In the Furiza saga (after Furiza's "death") the others want to bring Krillen and Goku (who they thought was dead) back to life. But King Kai explained they would just return to where they died. Which was Namek and since Namek no longer existed they would die. But if this were true, in the saiyan saga, when they wished Goku back to life he would have returned to where he died as well. But he didn't, his Halo just dissapeared and he had to run back along Snake Way. So I ask you, is this a plot hole, or am I missing something? Manic Webb
A definite plot hole. And an ugly plot hole to boot. Wait a minute... where did Krillin appear when they wished him back to life, anyway? I can only hope what you're talking about is a screw-up in the translation or something. Kent
Well if I was defending the story I would say that they didnt bring gokou back to earth upon the wish because the "authorities that be" knew he was training with king kai to prepare for the up coming battle. Also when they brought krillin back they first wished him to the _____ station in the spirit world and then back to earth. I would say its a plot hole, but to me a plot hole has to be obvious as hell to make the series go wrong. I know you dont think this "plot hole" ruins the series, but I dont even think this one is really worth the effort of the name simply because under my thought process it could be explained away, and there are several others that cant be explained away; those are plot holes. This is just a bump.
JCBaggee
Well, maybe it's because Goku got to keep his body? He was on a Kai's planet at the time, so they may have just restored his life, but left him up there to be returned at the Kai's discretion. --J.C.
Jinzouningen17
Well, this is what I was thinking. Maybe they dont bring them back to the exact place where they died, but bring them back to the planet in which they died at. Like for example, Krillin died on Namek, so he'd have to be brought back to Namek. But then, somethin came to my mind... When Goku was wished back to life, he had to run to make it back to earth instead of actually being wished back to earth. I guess you could consider this a plot hole OR, you could just say that this was Mr. Toriyama's way of making a suspenseful saga. ^_^ Same with Piccolo, after he died, he wasnt wished back to earth. But then again, after Gohan wished him back to life, they wished him to appear on Namek. Hmmm, hard to explain, so I guess you COULD consider it a plot hole, or you can consider it Mr. Toriyama's way to build suspense during the show. Who knows. ^_^
SS5 Gogeta
Alright i have to make a guess here. During db, all the people who were killed by Piccolo Daomoa still had there corpses and when Goku wished them back they just woke up again. For Goku, when he was dying after the fight with Raditz, he faded away so Kami could have him keep his body so technically, his body was at King Kai's planet and he got revived there. In Krillen's case, his body totally discinegrated so when Porunga brings him back, he puts the person who he revived in front of the person who is wishing so he know if the person is satisfied with the wish (He his made for wishing so he better do a job on it.) Added on to the fact that Porunga and Shenlong are different kinds of dragons.
