Oh and I think that Frodo is cute...if any of you really care to know...

What do mean 10,000 man battle, is that an actual stat. (drops jaw hoping it is)

I am super crazy now waiting for the two towers. It looks amazing and it doesnt help that I managed to get my hands on the tt game. (which is amazing)

I'm gonna see tt the first chance I get.

Although I have got to drag my brother along and he is such a little punk about these lord of the rings movies. (hes got a problem with how there was no real end in the first one, it just kinda stopped)

But what ever the case, the two towers looks like its gonna be the ****.

^_^ Lord of the Rings. Or, as my dad calls it "Bored of the Rings", is quite a good trilogy. However, through the wonderful use of BBCAmerica, I was able to watch the spoof of LotR: TFotR, and, as British humour goes, it was quite amusing. Got a kick out of it, I did.

I might go see TT, but I'm not sure. At least I'm not going with dad . . . he's got this weird thought that I'm in love with Legolas . . . O_o;; Far enough from the truth to be scary. And plus, there's too many Leggy lovers already.

It depends.

Oh I wish I could see it on the first day but my mom and dad don't want to see it right away because they say that the line up is going to be way to long:( Oh well I know I'm going to see it though!:D

oooo I just saw it on vhs an hour ago. ^_^
*checks clock* Umm... make that 1:23...

Anyway, I thought it was awesome. My dad told me it was really boring, and he was very disappointed with it, but I was pretty surprised. All the stabbing kinda threw me off though. o_o'

Anyway, I'm soooo glad I got to see it, and surprisingly enough, it made my top three list already. The other ones on my list I've seen about four-five times at the movie theaters.

I just love alot of the movies that have to do with that time period. The graphics were awesome, and the movie had me frozen the whole time. Since the tv with the vcr's in front of the bed, I was in a pretty uncomfortable position... but I couldn't move anyway. o_o'

Also, I think I'm in love with Legolas along with Lauren and Asuka... @_@' I just noticed how good Orlando Bloom looked in the movie comapred to what I saw of him at the 2001 mtv movie awards.

*Goes back into room and watches it a second time*

i doubt its actually 10,000 men, mostly will be computerized.
Of coarse it's computerized. They had to invent new technology in order to make the big battle scene the way they wanted it. And they had to push the technology they invented to the edge too. It's gonna be great. :D

Matt's right, a whole new graphics engine had to invented for the Two Towers. They also boasted that no two soldiers would have the same movements at any given time, which sounds pretty cool to me.

I will have to see that for myself though :)

And Sere what is this spoof you are talking about? I don't recall it being put on British TV! Unless i missed it o_O;;
French and Saunders-Lord of the Rings. It was on . . . er. Thursday. Sometime. Seven (central time), I think. I just remember that it was before CSI . . . And it was BBCAmerica (British Broadcasting Company-America), so wasn't really British TV. ^_^ The Brits have got much better shows then boring America. I think I'm addicted to British TV . . .

*groans* Another Legolas lover. Does that mean I have to give you a plushie too, Juu? (O__o;; That rhymed.)

In my opinion, Elijah Wood looks much better than Orlando Bloom. But hey! Since when has my opinion counted?

Snider? Don't you mean Strider? lol.

And as for everyone who didn't see it in theatres--Don't worry about it. Go rent/buy the extended version on DVD/VHS. It may not be in theatres, but it's got heaps more in it (200 minutes long... o_o), which more than makes up for it.

Gah! *edits post*

Renting it on vhs was hella hard for me. It's not as easy as just walking into Blockbust and finding it either. We were really lucky to find one last one put back up on the shelf. Before that, we went about four times to find it, and it was always out.

I guess it's the same deal as the Star Wars movies... I can't imagine how hard it's going to be to get some tickets for the Two Towers, considering how the first one's even always out at Blockbuster...

I saw the whole book set at Sam's the other day for like 80 dollars. I begged my dad to buy it for me, but no, he's not going to buy anything before Christmas unless it's for Christmas. And he doesn't like to shop with me around. Like that makes any difference. I'll peek when we get home anyway...

I know what you mean. I'm going to have to tell my dad to pre-order the tickets....living out here in Houston doesn't help much either. There's too many people!
Houston!! ^_^
I used to live on Galveston Island... It's about an hour away from Houston. You can get tickets there easily, I might see it a second time in Galvez...

Anyway, Preordering isn't as easy as it seems. At the metreon, the tickets are all sold out up to Wednesday... I hope we can get some for Thurday, even if it's still ten days away... = /
