Writing Sapphire Dragon

Another dargon poem. Dosen't measure up much to my other one, but..Tell me what you think.

Sapphire Dragon


-Noble dragon, sapphire blue.
Eyes so bright, heart so true.
Here thou dwell, beneath the wave,
Resting in thy coral cave.

-Rainbow whirls, scales of light,
Fins of gold for marine flight.
Infinite wisdom, noble mind,
Heart so fierce yet so very kind.

-Anger flares as violent wave,
Everyday, thy might, we brave.
Armadas fall under tempest storms.
All behold thy ever-changing form.

-With placid lakes and oceans calm,
Thy grace shines down as a healing balm.
Celestial soul, majestic power
Sovereign of life giving showers.

-From raging rivers to oceans dark,
Everywhere we see thy mark.
In this world, only thou rule,
Watching one and all from thy golden pool.

-Ice in thy eyes and a fiery soul,
Intent upon thy every goal.
As men set sail for a new empire,
Thy grace is what they most desire.

As it is writ upon books of lore,
In times and ages long before,
Men took land for their own keep,
Thou ruled over the distant deep.

Noble dragon, sapphire blue.
Eyes so bright, heart so true.
Sailors chant to changing waves,
All they pray for is thy grace.
