It first sounded like a little echo then you could hear it like it was right beside you. It came from the passage way on the left of the center one. You could see a young boy it his late teens run out of the passage. Yelling and screaming he ran around the temple three times then stopped and looked around. He looked puzzled for one thing. Then he started to run again.[/i] ???: Dragon! Passage! Running after me! Karina: Not you...you...you followed me! [i]The others in the temple looked at him in a funny way then turned and looked at the passage way he ran out of. He was right a dragon was running after him but it was only about two feet tall and looked like it was just born. The Dragon stumbled over his little feet and smiled in a weird twisted way. The boy ran over to the others taking deep breaths.[/i] ???: Dont just sit there run for your lifes! [i]He looked at the dragon and sighed [/i] ???: not that dragon [i]The others looked confused.[/i] ???: that dragon! [i]He pointed at the passage that he ran out of a 15 foot tall emerald fire breathing dragon ran out of the passage. Valen: from the looks of this, it sure is your fault! Karina: Ive got this one covered! ???: HOW?! Karina:... please dont let me get fried! [i]Karina ran towards the dragon powering up as she did, as soon as she came within attack rance she suddenly stopped and put her hands into the air, as she did ice started to crystalize around her hands. as soon as her hands were completely frozen over she started running forward again, the dragon opened her mouth and shot a fireball at her, Karina squeaked and dodged the fireball for the most part. the dragon kept trying to hit her but she kept on dodging, she got hit by some of the embers, but kept running despite the burns. She dove and slid on her stomach right up to the dragons leg snapped her hands foreward and slammed her hands down upon the dragons scaly hide. Ice immediatly started to spread like flames across the dragons skin wherever it went would freeze over. Withing moments the dragon was encased in a thick icy case. Karina was still on the ground underneath the dragon, her hands still on top of the ice, she didn't seem aware that her spell had worked. Suddenly steam started to emerge from teh ice covered beast. Valen:Get out of their!!!! karina lept up as the dragons chest began to expose, Venna only smiled. She held the knife as even more poison began to creep inside of it, The dragon's head slowly began to emerge, it's left eye suddenly peirced through the ice. Venna:Perfect. She whisped the knife through the air, it whisteled for less then a second untill it dove straight into the dragon's eye. The beast screamed as black lines began to creep along it's skin towards the creatures heart. The beast let out one final cry of desperation as it collapsed to the dragon. Venna walked back to karina who was still shaking. Venna:You ok? Karina:Yah just a bit shaken. Venna then looked at the kid, and with a swift motion landed her left fist into his face. What was going to happen to the baby dragon now that it's mother was dead because it was only trying to protect it's young. He walked with it over to Karina and Venna. He looked very concerned for the well-being of the baby dragon. They didn't know how to take care of one, it didn't know how to take care of itself, it's mother was dead. They did the only thing possible-- Go down the next corridor. They went down the corridor to find the exit. This was yet another wrong passageway. He toke a step back and bowed his head. Then he started to chant something over and over then he stopped the chanting and started to focus everything on the wall to the left of them. The wall was cracked and scrached up. Then there was a huge noise like a mini avalanche the group turned to see that kid grinning the group turned and faced the wall it was all distroyed and there was a passage way where the wall had fallen down. Karina: What did you do that for?! ???: A flock of dragons are coming this way. Quickly down here! I know fire magic I know they are coming. The tohers turned intothe tunnel as they saw even more portals, Venna looked at one it was dark, intune with her magic, it called to her and seemed peaceful. She looked inside it to see putrid plains, death all around, it seemed so nice to her. Venna: In here, know this plain. the others followed as she entered the portal an gasped at the sits in front of them. Venna: A word to teh wise, don't eat, drink, or touch anything that looks healthy, shiny, beautiful, or not demished, it will probably kill you. Ryan started to reach for a ripe blueberry or so it seemed on a vine. He nearly touched it but then a yelling voice made him stop and turn around. Venna: Don't!!! Ryan: Look I havent eaten for days and right know I see a whole wall of berrys in front of me and you think I will just ignore them and keep on walking? Karina: Do what she says or you will be killed. Ryan: Fine, and that was really stupit to yell because the dragons probably heard us and are about to come down this passageway. everyone: Then lets keep moving! Ryan sighed and did what everyone said and they started to run down the tunnel they made it to the end of the tunnel but three Dragons were standing right in front of them. Valen Bowed his head and raised his swod, as Karina charged energy again. Venna focused the poison into two of her knives, She ran at oen of the dragons. It shot out a bolt of flame at her, but she flipped, landing on the beasts head, digging the first knife into the beasts eye. Venna: I hope this works.... Without warning, he charged at the dragon. He was almost instantly on the dragon's back digging his blade into the dragon's spinal cord. Yes, it was a very cruel way to kill a beautiful creature such as a Dragon, but the blade in the eye would hurt it even more. He figured it would be best to kill it quickly. He focused on the dragon's spirit as it left the body. The body went limp and collapsed as Valen removed the blade and jumped off. He was still focused on the dragon's spirit.[/i] [b]Venna[/b]: What is he doing?! He's going to get killed out there! [b]Karina[/b]: He's drawing the energy of the dragon's spirit. He'll be fine. [b]Venna[/b]: Drawing the energy of the dragon's spirit? How? Why? [b]Karina[/b]: How? He focuses in on it and draws it's energy using his magic, but don't bother trying it. He's been training to do it almost all his life. [b]Venna[/b]: How do you know?! [b]Ryan[/b]: She just does! Now can we just get going and stop chatting!? It squawked when Karina said the word "dragon" and whimpered for its mother.[/i] Karina: Looks like youve got yourself a new pet! He walked over to Ryan while holding the baby dragon. The baby dragon wasn't too thrilled about Ryan's hatred toward dragons and driving the others to kill the dragons. If it hadn't been for him, the baby dragon's mother would not have been killed for protecting its young. Ryan jumped back as Valen drew closer and closer and closer. The baby dragon was beginning to love that Ryan was afraid of it, for it could make some good fun...[/i] [b]Valen[/b]: Karina, would you like to lead? [b]Ryan[/b]: HEY! WHY HER!? [i]Ryan stood up and was preparing for an attack. He bowed his head and started to chant. He chanted faster and faster each second then his eyes turned red and one of his palms started to glow red and the other one blue. He put both his hands together and chanted faster the wall he was standing beside started to shake a little and two little orbs formed in his palms. Then Ryan yelled.[/i] Ryan: Burning ice!!! [i]He used most of his power in that attack as he throw the little orbs at the dragons. He fell to his knees and gasped for breath.[/i] Valen: Umm...that was a fire attack wasn't it? Ryan: No, only part fire the other is ice. [i]Ryan forced himself up with the help of Karina. They all looked back at the dragons the attach didn't have much affect but it just stunned them for a second. There were five dragons left including the baby.[/i] Venna: The dragon! [i]Every one looked at the dragons and there walking towards them was the baby dragon. The dragon was only a few yards from the other dragons when the other dragons noticed that it was comeing towards them.[/i] Karina: Should we get the dragon or run for our lives? [i]The biggest Dragon smirked and toke a deep breath and same with the other dragons and shot a stream of fire towards the group. Anything that got in its way was burnt by the powerful flame. Nothing could stand in its way and no one did because when the smoke cleared Karina, Valen, Venna and Ryan were gone. Ryan:No, but there right in front of us anyways... The group looked in fornt of them and saw the five dragons smirking a bit getting ready to launch another blaze. Venna:That's it, time for some real pain Venna's eyes suddenly turned black, quickly her body rippled with black veins, a dark aura suddenly came around her Ryan: What the.... Venna: Dont touch me. Valen: She's created a daeth aura within herself, anything that touches her will die almost instantly, but she might if she stays in it too long. Venna looked on he ground for a shadow, she saw Ryans, walking into it she shifed out of reality only to appear underneath one of the dragons. Shoving her hands up she laughed as her fingers tore through creatures flesh deteriating it to nothing almost instantly. She then flipped onto another dragon's head, it's skull began to show as it flopped to the ground in pain. A blaze shot out but venna flipped over it, grabbing at the next dragons heart, putting the last of her energy into the third dragon she practicaly ripped out it's heart. The two last dragons began to take notice and grimace a bit, but before venna could do anything else she screamed in agony and passed out. Valen:She stayed within the aura too long.... Carmen was left stunned over what revelations had been brought forward. Soon after covering her wound, which she left untreated for a day or so, she immersed herself in meditation and thoughts of revenge. Not only against the kid who cut her but also Mirage, whom she also had loyalty to. All she could think is if he's really out to destroy all the other demons, or is it just a ploy to lure in thoses kids as his warriors. Many a thoughts ran through her head but nothing seemed to add up. After waking from her meditaion Carmen was informed by one of her warriors that the brat who cut her was now in a labyrinth deep below the earth. Carmen: Send as many dragons as possible to that location and get rid of them. Demon: Yes, and shall we inform Disu of this. Carmen: Do not! I'll tell him a a more profound time. He left Carmen alone for a few hours where he then informed her of the dragons inablitity to defeat these kids. Carmen: Sh--! The kids seem to be more powerful than we thought. Go to Sparda at once. We must find a way to get the kids befroe anymore damage can be done!!! Demon: I can't do that now, Sparda is no where to be found!! Karina sighed and started to help Valen out in the mean time Venna was lying on the ground passed out, slowly all the life was going out of her. Ryan drew his sword and swiped at the dragons feet, the dragon jumped and spit a little flame at Ryan. Ryan tried to jump out of the way but the fire hit him, in his leg. He hit the ground hard, still alive and awake but badly burnt. The dragon toke a deep breath it looked like the end for Ryan, he shut his eyes but not for long because you could hear a roar of pain from a dragon. Ryan opened his eyes and there stood a little dragon, the baby dragon. From the looks of it that little dragon just blow a little fire in the way of the other dragon. It looks now like it is on our side.[/i] [i]Valen was attacking with his sword and Karina was throwing sharp blades that looked looked like stars from farther a way. Valen jumped a few yards away from the dragon and Karina throw a magic attack at it. The dragon fell to the ground, dead. That means only one left now.[/i] [i]Ryan stood up slowly and held his leg[/i] Ryan: How about we corner it then attack? [i]All he needed was a nod from Karina and Valen and he know that, that?s what they are going to do. They each toke a few steps forward and drew their weapons. Ryan took another step towards it and pointed his sword at it to, he ways ready for anything at the moment...so he thought. When Ryan was catght of his gaurd the dragon multiplyed into five more dragons! Ryan: Of coarse! How could I have been so stupit?! When I came into this temple there was some writing on the wall saying "Try to fight them all but you will not live for the last" That must have meant the dragons! He set the baby dragon on the ground and let it go over by the other dragons.[/i] Ryan: ... Drakey? Karina: You named it already?! Valen: ... So? It's a cute one... Ryan: ... ANYWAY! What is he...she.....IT doing? Valen: Okay, Drakey is going to go distract the other dragons. Karina, Ryan... that's where we come into play. Karina: You're going to fight now? I thought you said you were going to back down this time... Valen: Well, if what Ryan says is true, I can't just let you two die alone... Karina: Very reassuring... Valen: Isn't it though? Ryan: Would you two stop yapping!? Here they come! Valen: Eh? ... Oh sh... [i]They all turned and ran toward the dragons. It was now or never...[/i] Ryan: Well, this is the end! Karina: Not yet! It's not over until we're dead! Valen: ... I'll meet you guys at the temple when we get done with these dragons... [i]They all stopped and turned to Valen/[/i] Karina: Why do you want to go back to the temple? Valen: ... Must get Venna back somewhere where she WON'T get eaten for dinner! Karina: ... Why? Ryan isn't much help in the first pla- All they could see was a blast of fire. When Valen and Karina turned around to see who did the attack Ryan was standing panting. The attack hit a dragon but since the dragons are of the element fire it did not hurt too much. The dragon twitched and a grin split across its face. Ryan: How much can these dragons take?!! Just seconds before he reached the dragon, he brought the katana down to release some energy into the earth and then he raised it once again, landing it just below the dragon's neck.[/i] Valen: Hello there! Karina: ... idiot... you're going to get killed... Valen: HEY! DRAGON! DOWN HERE, YOU IDIOT! Dragon: ... [i]The dragon looked down at the short child-like warrior person and opened it's mouth, revealing a golden orb forming in its mouth. Valen saw this and leapt onto the Dragon's head. The dragon shook its head, tossing Valen passed Karina. He then leapt back to his feet and charged at the dragon again.[/i] Valen: Didn't hurt! [i]She held her hands out and concentraited her icy energy into an attack as familliar ice spears appeared behind her. She swung her arms as the ice shot forward making a whistling sound because of its immense speed, they slammed into a dragon and, amazeingly broke through its armor-like scales in places, hitting its soft flesh beneath. The creature screeched in agony as it tried to shake the spears free. But to no avail. It only managed to shift the spikes in it causing more pain to it.Karina could see blood trickling down its side where it had pierced the flesh.[/i] Karina: oh... Yes! [i]She ran at this dragon and pulled out a few more of her throwing stars. The dragon Ryan was fighting opened his mouth and spit out a little flame at Ryan, he was forced to jump, right in front of a throwing star, A sceam of pain got everyones attention, As Valen and turned and Karina stared at Ryan holding his leg were the blade hit.
