Guest Projekt[Navi]
... well thats what I've heard. I went to divx.com and saw something of a D7 Peacemaker trailer, and downloaded it. After seeing it, I got really interested in seeing more of it .. so I went to their web site to see more info on it. (Note : http://www.d7peacemaker.com) After reading some more of the american made anime I got really interested because many people had claimed this anime's production crew had tons of potential of creating future american made anime ... I know this doesn't count as an " anime " but its drawn as one .. :D
Guest Hikaru Ichijyo
:) Personally D7 looks like a great cartoon, I'm sorry but anything created here in america is not "anime" at least not in my opinion its like calling a cgi generated show an anime, it's an incorrect use of the word. Overall D7 will do good, personally it's great that many more people are trying to emulate the substance from an anime but few really know how to do it well, thats why I don't great this "american anime" oxy moron with open arms.
Opposites are what make oxymorons. "Static" and "anime" are opposites. "American" and "un-American" are opposites. "American" and "anime" are not opposites. In fact, they're two completely unrelated words. "American anime" is as much an oxymoron as "Mexican Pizza" or "French Fries." Plus, in my opinion, anything animated in typical anime style (no matter where it's made) is "anime." If I have to be Japanese to make an anime, then I guess I have to be Japanese to draw a "manga" (which I don't accept). Anyway, D7 Peacemaker seems like a pretty good movie. I'll have to wait for the website to release its trailer before I know if it looks any good.
Guest Projekt[Navi]
Endymion, if you want a trailer of it .. go to http://www.divx.com/ and you'll see the trailer out of the " Downloads " Section .. Anyway, Rick's opinion on anime made in america is correct, although I was only saying that it LOOKED like anime just as crap like Batman Beyond tries to be .. .___. I just hope it is good though.
