Desbreko
This is a Zelda RPG, obviously, but it?s also a bit complicated. Make sure that you?ve read and understand the rules before signing up, and also only sign up if you intend to stick with it. I don?t want a bunch of people signing up and then never posting. You don't really need to know anything about the story of any of the Zelda games to play in this RPG, since I made up the story. You should, however, be a good role player. Like I said, this RPG is more complicated than some, so I'm going to select people to play in the RPG based on their applications. Oh, and remember, you can't be Link. Read the story below to find out why. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Story What if, instead of Link defeating Ganon in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Link is defeated by Agahnim at the top of Hyrule Castle Tower, after Princess Zelda was cast into the Dark World? With the Seal of the Seven Wise Men broken and Link out of the way, Ganon would then be free to return to the Light World (Hyrule), and rule both worlds as he had dreamed. And, he would have no trouble doing this, since Hyrule is already under the control of Agahnim. With the gate to the Dark World thrown open, all manner of beasts and monsters would be free to wander through the open and now abundant portals between the two worlds. Also, Ganon?s army would be free to enter the light world and conquer any resistance that might still be left. In quite a short time Hyrule would once again be under Ganon?s rule, but this time, there would be no hero to stop him? Or would there?? Enter the World of Ruin, the lands of both Hyrule and the Dark World, both evil and corrupted by Ganon?s evil wishes. Hyrule has now been under Ganon?s rule for about 4 years, and although it is not quite as corrupted as the Dark World, it is still quite dangerous to wander outside of the few towns and camps scattered around the world. Portals to and from the Dark World are becoming more and more common, the two worlds becoming more intertwined with each other every day. It is quite common to find portals to and from the Dark World out in the open, instead of just in a few secluded places. Ganon, quite pleased with the ease of being able to step from one world to the other so easily, has nevertheless overlooked one very important detail. Hyrule and the Dark World are not simply two different lands; they are on two different plains of existence. Not quite the same, yet not wholly different, the two worlds are linked together, causing events happening in Hyrule to also affect things in the Dark World and vice versa. So what, you ask, has Ganon overlooked? It is the fact that, if those two worlds were to ever be fully joined together, the two plains would meet and crash into each other, ultimately causing the destruction of both worlds. Normally, the Triforce keeps the balance of the plains in check, but now, with Ganon twisting its power for his own evil devices, the two worlds are becoming joined by more and more portals. If something is not done, the two plains will continue to grow closer to each other, until they clash, spelling doom for all who live in both Hyrule and the Dark World. But now, when all hope seems to be lost, Sahasrahla, a descendant of one of the Seven Wise Men, finds records of two ancient weapons that were used against Ganon in the Imprisoning War long ago, to weaken him enough to be sealed in the Dark World. He calls a young warrior, Drake Desbreko, whose ancestors were of the knights line, like Link?s ancestors. Telling him of the weapons, the legendary Master Sword and the sacred Silver Arrow, he bestows a quest upon his shoulders. He is the last of the knights line and the only one left that can defeat Ganon, and must therefore set out to obtain the Master Sword and Silver Arrow, and defeat Ganon once and for all. Map We?ll be using the map from Zelda: A Link to the Past, for both the Light World and the Dark World. The Light World, however, is becoming quite run down, plants are dying, water is getting to be polluted, there are more monsters about? Pretty much like the Dark World, only to a lesser extent? The Dark World being totally barren, with absolutely no plant life anywhere, except in the few fields around the even fewer towns, and in the Skull Woods, where the trees are old and mangled, and form maze-like passages through the forest. There are also much stronger monsters in even greater quantities in the Dark World. Light World Map 1. Lost Woods 2. Death Mountain 3. Races You can be a Hylian, Goron, Zora, Gerudo, or Kokiri. (You only get a Fairy guardian if you?re a Kokiri). Character Classes - Knight If you choose to be a Knight, you?ll get a primary weapon (such as a sword and shield), and a smaller secondary weapon (such as a bow and arrow, though that can be your primary weapon if you're an archer). You?ll also get five secondary items, such as a boomerang, or a bomb bag, to carry bombs in. Also, if you want, you can choose to give up one of those item slots so that you can have one magic spell. Keep in mind that it can only be a weak spell, since you?re playing as a Knight. (Like, you may choose to have a weak healing spell, or maybe a weak Fire Arrow spell if you have a bow and arrow). - Sage If you choose to play as a Sage, you?ll get a powerful spell instead of a primary weapon. You?ll still get a secondary weapon, and then you can also have three secondary spells, in addition to two secondary items. (Remember, if you want to have a Fire Arrow or Ice Arrow spell, you?ll need to have your secondary weapon as a bow and arrow). Picking Up/Dropping Items If you find a weapon or item in the RPG, but you already have the maximum amount of items that you can carry, you can choose to drop one of your other items, so that you can pick up the one that you?ve found. Or, you can give one of your other items to another player, so that you can pick up the new item. But remember, the other character must then drop one of his or her items, if they too already have as many items as they can carry. Always remember what items you have! Learning New Spells If you?re playing as a Sage, you can also learn new spells during the course of the RPG, much like you would pick up a new item. Say you found a scroll with a spell written on it, but you already have the maximum amount of spells that you can learn. You could then choose to replace one of your old spells with the new one. Unlike picking up a new item, however, you cannot transfer an old spell to another player to make room for the new spell. Sign-Up Form Name: Fairy Name: (If you?re a Kokiri). Age: Race: Character Class: Gender: Appearance: Background/Bio: Starting Location: Primary Weapon/Spell: Secondary Weapon: Items: Spells: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Right, here's my character, then. Name: Drake Desbreko Age: 17 Race: Hylian Character Class: Knight Gender: Male Appearance: Drake doesn't look too far off from Link, except that his hair is a little darker brown and a little longer, and he doesn't wear a pointy hat. His eyes are a deep, dark green, which shine with determination. Drake wears a dark, navy blue tunic similar to what Link wore, and underneath a dark grey shirt. He wears sturdy, rough leather pants, which are brown, and darker brown boots like Link used to wear. Over all of this, he sometimes wears a dark grey, hooded cloak, which can conceal the sword, shield, and bow and arrows he wears on his back. Background/Bio: Drake Desbreko has lived in Kakariko Village all his life. He's ventured out into the world a few times, but his knowledge of the outside world is still pretty small. And, after the fall of Link and Ganon's takeover of Hyrule, almost no one left the village. However, despite the chaos that the world is in, Ganon ruling the Dark World and Agahnim the Light World, he tries to maintain a fairly cheerful attitude. He has an ironic sense of humor, and the determination required for continued survival in the World of Ruin. Over the years, Drake has become a warrior of sorts, helping to protect the village from monsters and bands of roaming thieves. Though he doesn't know it, his help has made Kakariko the safest place to be in both the Light World and Dark World. So, when Sahasrahla summoned him and told him he was the last known remaining descendant of the old Knights of Hyrule, and that he must be the Legendary Hero, destined to defeat Ganon and restore peace to both worlds, he was shocked. He didn't consider himself as great a warrior as some of the others who protected the village. He was even more shocked when Sahasrahla told him that news had leaked out about the Master Sword, which was apparently being guarded deep in the dungeons of Agahnim's Castle. With this sword, Sahasrahla tells him, he would be able to defeat the evil wizard. And, to top it all off, he tells Drake about a Silver Arrow that could be used in conjunction with the Master Sword to defeat Ganon. However, Sahasrahla only knew of the Silver Arrow, and not where it was kept. So, having learned the mistake of sending one alone to face the evil of Ganon and Agahnim, Sahasrahla sends Drake to gather other warriors to accompany him on his quest. Only a group of the most valiant and courageous would be able to succeed in this mighty task. Starting Location: Drake's House, Kakariko Village, the Light World Primary Weapon: Fighter's Sword & Fighter's Shield (Pretty much like the ones you first get in Zelda: A Link to the Past). Secondary Weapon: Bow & Arrow Items: Ocarina, Hookshot, Bomb Bag (holds 20 Bombs), Magic Cape Spells: Fire Arrow

She has some of her hair pulled foward into a braid. She wears a dark leather vest, and a pair of matching shorts. Ami also wears alot of belts and buckles, just out of personal interest. She usually wears knee-high boots and fingerless black gloves. Background/Bio: Orphaned at birth, Ami has never known her parents, or even her real name--If she even has one. She was discovered by a small group of Hylians, one of whom was an Archer. Searching a place to leave the newborn in safety, they took her to the Sanctuary. The archer of the group, however, refused to part with the infant, and opted to stay with her. She named the infant 'Amidriena', her own middle name. When Amidriena was only five years old, she was taught to use a bow, and use a bow well. By the age of ten, Amidriena could fend for herself using her skill as an Archer--And so she did. Her foster mother/guardian left, and Ami was alone once again--Only this time, she was ready for it. She became a Hunter and a Wanderer, wandering the world of Hyrule, searching for somewhere to settle down. She hasn't found that place yet. Desbreko
I don't really care how many Hylians or characters of other races there are. It'd be nice to have some variety, but there's not a limit to how many of each there can be. One problem, though, Valen... Bombos, Ether, and Quake are more spells than items. They're kind of like Din's Fire and Nayru's Love and those from Ocarina of Time. So, if you want to keep them, you'll have to be a Sage, and give up your primary weapon in place of a strong spell. (Though really, Bombos and Ether are the sort of thing that a primary spell would be, since they take out everything in the surrounding area). I suppose I should define more what spells are, and what magic items are, for the things from the games. A spell would be something like I mentioned above. Something like Bombos, Ether, Quake, Din's Fire, Farore's Wind, Nayru's Love, and elemental arrows. Some other things that use magic power in the games but would be defined as items here would be things like the Fire and Ice Rods, the Magic Cape, Magic Powder, the Cane of Somaria and Cane of Byrna.
Charles
Name: Samantha Lightheart Fairy Name: June Age: 12 Race: Kokiri Character Class: Knight Gender: Female Appearance: Short, orange hair hangs to her shoulders, peaking out from beneath her oversized hat. Like others in her village, Samantha dons a loose-fitting emerald green tunic. It's a little too big for her. After all, it was her brother's, but she'll grow into it. Underneath, Sam wears a comfortable shirt. It's her favorite color--green. Her tiny finger tips are visible, poking out from underneath the sleeves. A green, belt, hangs lazily from her waist, tiny pockets useful for carrying small items attached. Similarly to other Kokiri, she wears little in the way of leg wear. But, her legs don't get cold--her light-brown boots extend to her knees, their buckles clinking when she walks. On her back, is a surprisingly large sword named Unferth. It's golden hilt is beautiful, but the weapon is still too large for her to wield. So, she often times relies on the small, brown boomerang that hangs at her side. Her eyes are large, a dreamer's eyes. They often sparkle like little blue stars when she laughs. She's modest about her pointy ears, but June tells her they look nice. June is barely visible, just a blue light that shine's brightly when she's excited, angry or anxious, and dim when she's sad or tired. Background/Bio: Sam spent her entire life in Kokiri. She always wondered what the rest of the world had to offer. Her brother Max, oftentimes left the village, speaking of marvelous new worlds, a magical kingdom known as Hyrule. Once the great Deku tree died, Max became determined to find a new tree for the village. Everyone told him it was impossible. Nonetheless, he embarked on a new adventure, seeking glory. Two years have passed, but he has yet to return. For a time, Sam would skip pebbles in Kokiri pond, hoping he had found what he was looking for. As time passed, she grew to become more adventurous, stubborn in her convictions. Despite her small frame, she aspires to be a famous knight and ignores constant teasing from other villagers. Fellow villagers quickly learned of her aspirations, noticed her progress. Some say that she has grown as skilled with a boomerang and wooden sword as her brother. But, she refuses to use such a sword any longer. Sam is determined to master Unferth. a gift from her brother. He told her that it came from the heavens, the moon and the stars. Although eager to write her name in stone, Sam remained reasonable for some time, listened to others' warnings about the treacherous world. For a time, she believed the harsh tales, decided to hold off her search for fame until she was satisfied with her progress as a warrior. When a wolf attacked Kokiri village and nearly killed Sam, her shame and anger pushed her forward. Sam decided that she had progressed as much as her surroundings would allow her to. If she wanted fame, she would need field experience. She deceived everyone in the village into thinking that she had lost her will to become a knight, only to sneak out one starry night. Starting Location: A forest outside of Kakiriko village, in the Light World. Primary Weapon: Unferth and a boomerang. Items: Bomb bag, Boomerang, and a red potion. Spells: None.
James
Name: Hikaru Fairy Name: Bell Age: 11 Race: Kokiri Character Class: Knight Gender: Male Appearance: See image below. Background Bio: Due to the fact that Kokiri children do not age, Hikaru has essentially reached his full physical maturity. Hikaru and his mother have been living in a small house inside Kakariko Village since he was born. And during that time, Hikaru has made many friends. One of his best friends is Drake Desbreko, whom he has always viewed as a kind of older brother. Drake taught Hikaru how to catch different types of fish and also how to catch various types of bugs (which has become one of Hikaru's favourite past times). Hikaru himself has ventured far from Kokiri Village on occasion, as his curious personality tends to lead him into troubling situations. Hikaru is a headstrong boy, but is also kind and forgiving. Though sometimes he's a little too trustworthy. The legendary hero Link is Hikaru's mentor and throughout his life, he wishes to defeat the forces of evil that are plaguing the Light World. Deedlit
Name: Laithrielsyan Similothlas (Elsyan for short) Age: 16 Race: Hylian Character Class: sage Gender: female Appearance: Somethin' like this, only without the sword. Background/Bio: When Elsyan was 6 years old, she and her brothers used to live in a small house near Lake Hylia. But one night, her eldest brother, Klortian, was murdered by a roaming pack of monsters. Before Klortian died, he told his little brother, Nakuro, who was 12 years old at that time, to run and take Elsyan with him. Elsyan and Nakuro did not want to go. Nakuro insisted that he could help Klortian fight them since he knew some spells, but Klortian refused. Klortian finally convinced Nakuro and made him promise that they would flee. Elsyan can still remember running all night long until she and her brother collasped. They traveled for days around Hyrule, until they finally arrived at the Lost Woods, tired, exausted, and overcome by grief at the loss of their brother. Elsyan now lives alone in a small house on the outskirts of the Lost Woods. Ever since she and her brother arrived here, Nakuro had taught Elsyan some spells so that she could protect herself should they be attacked again. Nakuro dissappeared three years ago. Elsyan had an idea that he must have gone into a portal leading to Dark World to investigate, but he hadn't come back. After several months of waiting in anguish and anxiety, she had lost the will to live now that she had lost everyone she held dear to her. She wanted to kill herself, but she found that she couldn't. Not while there was still a chance that her brother might be alive. She's resolved that she would try to find him, even if it means going to Dark World and dying in the process. Shy
Name: Jobb Age: 12 Race: Goron Gender: Male Character Class: Sage :p Appearance: Like all Gorons, Jobb has the same brown skin, spiked back, and round body that characterize his race. On his chest he has several small scars, which are a result of an attack by ravenous birds when he was an infant. He stands proudly at 3 feet tall, and weighs 150 pounds. This makes him slightly overweigh for Gorons of his height, but Gorons choose to celebrate each other?s difference rather than criticize them for it. Background Bio: Jobb was abandoned as an infant by unknown parents on the outskirts of the dark forest. For nearly a day he was left to fend for himself in the wild (which was nearly impossible since Jobb had not learned how to walk or roll yet). Wild birds began to attack Jobb, and he still has scars from the encounter. Fortunately, A party of wandering merchants rushed to his aid after hearing the child?s screams from afar. The merchants took Jobb to an old friend of theirs, a Hyrulian shaman named Casper, and using his magic he healed the baby?s wounds. Casper offered that the merchants stay with him for a while, and during this time he became fond of Jobb. When the merchants were ready to leave, Casper asked if he could raise Jobb and train him in the magical arts. The merchants happily agreed, and for the next 12 years Jobb lived in a small cottage with Casper as his mentor and surrogate father. When Goron reached his twelfth birthday, Casper decided that Jobb was ready to leave the dark forest and return to the Gorons, where he might one day find his real parents. PiroMunkie
Ahh, good ol' Zelda. Finally, a chance at a decent RPG. Superb idea with selecting who will actually be able to participate... even if it does cost me my chance to be in this, lol. ---------------------------------------------- Name: Voleur Age: 17 Race: Gerudo Character Class: Knight Gender: Female Appearance: [Do you not just LOVE my creativity?] Background/Bio: Voleur, ever since she was born, had been a trained Gerudo thief. She was born into a clan of Gerudo women who taught her everything there is to know about what it is to be a Gerudo. By the time she was nine, she had nearly mastered using the traditional Gerudo Scimitars, used by most guards. On she turned twelve, her clan rewareded her with twin, custom made Gerudo Scimitars. They were a little big for her at the time, but she knew that she would grow into them. In the meantime, it would work her arm strength. When she came to be thirteen, she was given a bow and quiver. This weapon was a bit new to her, but she carried it as a back up, and practiced it every so often. When she was fourteen her village was taken under assault. Her elders knew she was too young to fight the incredible forces that darkened the sky that day. So they gave her a few treasures: a longshot, Pegasus Boots, and a Magic Cape (all of which had surely been stolen elsewhere). Then they sent Voleur out into the Desert of Mystery... alone. Vicious sand storms blind her sight, so she passed through it aimlessly, hoping to find some means of shelter. She thought she saw something ahead of her, but the sandstorm made it unclear. She continued to walk to it, and then everything just went black. When she awoke, she found herself alone atop a giant pyramid. She figured she was far from any home she had ever known. It was not long until a frightening acquaintance told her that she had somehow fallen into the Dark World. She did not understand exactly what this Dark World was, but the visage of her acquaintance showed nothing but fear. She soon learned of the monsters of this world first hand. A few of them she could take on, others she had to run from. After being chased into Skull Woods, she became lost, and for two years bringing us to present day, she has not found her way out. She has made a permanent and hidden shelter buried in the depths of the woods, and knows the woods fairly well. She just has never been able to find her way out... His face looks tired and worn, despite his young age, which is a contrast to his short, dark red hair. He wears clothes similar to those of Ganondorf, but less heavy looking. He has some knee-high, light brown coloured boots, over the left one he wears a sharp dagger for quick attack. He wears a pair of sturdy leather shoulder pads, dark brown in colour, these are dotted with golden studs, but some are missing on the right shoulder. He also wears of a small chestplate, much like the material used on the shoulder pads, but slightly lighter. This chestplate has many scratches and wear marks on it, presumably from previous encounters with monsters. Under all of this he wears a brown tunic of sorts, which is short sleeved and only goes midway down his thighs. To cover these up, he wears a black coloured undergarment (like Adult Link's white thingy in OoT), this also goes down his arms as well. On his hands we wears a pair of big, sturdy (fingerless) gauntlets that run up his forearms to his elbows. These are brown, with a red and dark red pattern around the edges. Sometimes he may wear a long, straw-coloured cloak that goes down to his ankles, this is to protect him from sandstorms and rain too. On his back he keeps strapped a huge sheath, in this he carries a huge Gerudo Scmitar (like the ones the guards use when you fight them in OoT/MM). Background/Bio: Dareigen's parents are unknown, as he was found in a bundle of blankets during a sandstorm in the Desert of Mystery near an isolated Gerudo village. Here he was brought up by the women of the village, who almost worshipped him because he is a male Gerudo. He was mostly cared for by the leader, Naira, who wanted the honour of looking after him. As the years passed, Naira and Dareigen's bond grew stronger and closer. In early childhood, round from about the age of 6, he was taught how to use a bow along with other youngsters in the village. This, he wasn't so good at first, but managed to get the hang of it after a year, and by the time he was 10, he had mastered the bow and was a very good marksman. A year later, they gave him a shortsword and let one monster into the village, instantly he knew what to do and hacked at this monster over and over until it was dead. Naira and the other Gerudos were impressed with his effort, but needed to teach him a little more about technique and skill. Soon he had become quite athletic and could do an array of acrobatic evasive moves. After 6 years, they made him his very own Scmitar. Dareigen was very pleased and couldn't wait to use it. They pit him against some of the girls he had grown up with and had become vicious fighters, all of whom he could beat with this huge sword he had now. Overcome with joy, he now knew that he was a fighter and had no need to stay in the village, he wanted to go out and see a new place other than the dusty brown of the desert. After a saddening goodbye, Naira and the Gerudo parted with Dareigan and he left with only a sword, some water and plenty of courage. On his travels he traded and talked his way to Kakariko Village, where he stayed and enjoyed a busier, town life with some very friendly people. But a couple of months later, this happiness was shattered after the Fall of Link. This story rapidly shot through Hyrule and an evil being known as Ganon broke free from the Dark World, which Dareigen had heard of once before, and he had now taken control over Hyrule. Monsters were much more abundant than before, he became worried about his village back in the Desert of Mystery. It was already a hostile place full with monsters, so he thought that it must be a death trap now. Stocking up on more food and water, he left Kakariko Village a week after Ganon had seized power and slashed and fought his way mercilessly back to the desert. The desert was a complete death trap, as he suspected. Barely making it back to the village, he arrived to find it completely destroyed, his friends lay scattered about wounded or dead. Realising that this was indeed real, he ran quickly to Naira's house to find that it wasn't Naira there, it was her daughter, Rakille. She told Dareigen that Naira and some other fighters had gone out into the desert the following day and had not come back yet. He feared that they were dead and there was no point looking, he talked to everyone to see if they were okay and then got some sleep. The following day, Naira was brought back by a companian, dead. Dareigen was absolutely devastated. This was basically his mother. The one who had taken him in and cared for him as her own son. He swore from that point on he would protect the village, no matter what. The remaining Gerudos rebuilt some of the houses and tended to the sick and wounded. This was a day that he would never forget.. Four years later, present time, Dareigen had heard of rumours of a Master Sword that lay deep in Agahnim's Castle. A deep desire to fetch that sword was sweeping through him. He eventually told the rest of his friends in the village. They understood that he should leave and find the Master Sword. With another sorrowful goodbye, Dareigen left the village for the last time.. Starting Location: Just outside an isolated Gerudo village in the south east of the Desert of Mystery. GinnyLyn
Ginny says we need a Zora--TA DA! Name: Sefai Aquamentus, Fai (pronounced "Fay") for short Age: Indeterminable, but considered young Race: Zora Character Class: Sage Gender: Female Appearance: A female Zora with a sapphire pendant (like the Zora's Sapphire) about her neck. A golden shackle bearing the Triforce symbol is worn around her upper right arm. In order to remain unhindered while swimming, she tries to wear as little as possible. Background/Bio: Recently discovered to be one of the decendants of the Seven Sages (can I do that, Des? if not, I can change it), she had broken out of her prison at the Ice Lake. Her past is a dim memory, as if it never existed at all. Although she does not know how she was freed from her crystal enchantment (remember, the Seven Decendants were trapped in crystals in Link to the Past), she does know that Ganon or one of his many cohorts will soon be looking for her. As such, she attempts juggling her distrust of anyone else with her need to learn who she is and what power she holds, if any. Fai is not to be taken as an amnesia weakling; she makes up for a lost past by taking a firm grip of her future. Locked in the Dark World, she is dismayed to find that much of the water is stagnant at best, and deathly polluted at worst. She fervently hopes to find some way to fix the world, if only her small part. And in the midst of it all, she desires to go home again. Starting Location: Ice Lake, Dark World Primary Weapon/Spell: Freeze Secondary Weapon: Bow and Arrows Items: Bombs, a bottle with a fish in it (?); Ice Arrows, DemiTsunami Spells: Aqua Touch (small heal)
Mitch
Name: Mithioth Age: 16 Race: Hylian Character Class: Knight Gender: Male Appearance: He's about 5'3" tall, he has brown, messy hair. Green eyes, a light-hearted face. His eyes are always lively and seem to sparkle with an off-guard intuition of something more. Background/Bio: He was born in Kakiriko, but his Mom abandoned him, not wanting her son. It is said it is because he was a boy instead of a girl. He then grew up in the Lost Woods, admiring the fauna and absolute beauty of the serene forest that pelted about his weary and starving eyes. He taught himself to survive. He then began to hunt, gather food, and, eventually, he even built himself a small hut within the deep confines of the forest. After doing that, he lived out his life as normal as would allow, becoming friends with many of the animals within the forest. But then, as the years aged forth, the forest seemingly began to die, and he was sad of heart. He tried to save the forest all he could, but his attempts were futile, and most of the forest died out. Anger then surged into him, and a want of adventure. So he set out to Kakiriko Villiage, hoping for answers to appear to him. Starting Location: Lost Forest Primary Weapon/Spell: A wooden dagger and shield carved from the bark of his favorite tree. Secondary Weapon: A bow, along with wooden arrows all carved from the same tree as above Items: Bomb Tag, Bottle (Red Potion), Slingshot, Deku Stick. Spells: Solar arrows. Desbreko
Well, I'm very happy with most of the sign-ups so far. I've written the opening post for the RPG, so I can start it any time. I think I'll give people another day or so to sign up before starting it, though, and if they have a good sign-up after it's started, I'll still let them in. And I'll be starting it on Sunday, the 15th, just so people know. I'll also post the list of people who've made it in at the same time as the opening post. Okay, decided to move the start date up to tomorrow, the 14th. I wasn't thinking straight this morning when I posted that it would start the 15th, since that was actually two days from when I posted. :cross:

Desbreko
*reads latest sign-ups* ...*gets to the last one*  :wow: :cross: :faint: Heh, okay, but seriously, now... You're over the item limit. As a Sage you get three secondary spells and thee items. (Yeah, three, read the paragraph below this one). Now, you could count the Magic Powder and Magic Cape as spells, if you want. They're kinda of magical items, so they can go either way, for being an item or a spell. You'd still be a few over the limit, though, but only by a couple. I've been thinking about it, and I think it'd be better to have Sages be able to carry three items, and have three secondary spells. Two items isn't very many, considering how many from the Zelda games there are. So, anyone that's playing a Sage, go ahead and add another item if you want.

Guest Zeh
Name: Tasis Luinal Age: 15 Race: Hylian Character Class: Knight Gender: Male Appearance: The only immediate features that single out Tasis is his spikey silver hair and piercing blue eyes . Besides that he has black fingerless gloves with a white rim. The muscle shirt he wear's is yellow and black, below it he has a black leather belt with a small buckle, holding up his dark pants. He strikes a heroic figure wielding his key-like sword. Background/Bio: Growing up in the Dark world, forced into slavery by Gannon, he doesn't remember much of what his life used to be. Tasis remember's one night, it's seems an eternity ago, he lived in a happy place, surrounded by people laughing, carrying on and having fun. How he longed to be back there. One day he siezed a chance to escape from this slavery, a warrior wielding an odd key-shaped sword stumbled into the camp, wounded in a dozen places, unknowing to him, it was a camp of enslavement. Three guards immediately set upon him. He hardly had a chance to fight back. Tasis ran over and siezed the fallen sword and took it up aginst the three guards. Before death the Warrior had managed to wound one, Tasis went directly after that one, running him through with his newly-found sword. Pulling the sword free from the corpse he fled the sceen leaving behind two bewildered guards. Hoping one day to free the rest of his friends, he learned the ways of the Warrior, learning to expertly wield his Keyblade, and a few other weapons aswell. One day while training he slipped, falling off of a ledge into a portal. In this forign land, he found he had ended up near a forest. Monsters swarmed out after him. Barely being able to fend them off and keep his life he staggered towards some lights he saw in the distance. Then Darkness overwhelmed him. Tasis may seem clam and collected for his age, but he is known for sudden outbursts. Very reliable and resourceful, he makes an excellent warrior, although sometimes too quick to react, most companions help him out there. The Vampire: Ed
Well, I've played just about all of Legend of Zelda games, but I've never really followed the plot too much. So for my bio, I had to do a lot or reading up. So I hope it's all good, and works along with the basic plot of the Legend of Zelda series. Name: Sairo(Sai-row) Bijan Age: ???? Height: 6' 7" Race: Hylian Character Class: Knight Gender: Male Appearance: Sairo is tall, muscular, has long white hair, and, strangely, his eyes are black like coal. Sairo wears black armor as dark as the night, a long black and red cape, black baggy pants tucked into a pair of tall boots matching his armor, a fingerless black glove on his right hand, and a golden gauntlet (Titan's Mitt if allowed, if not it's a simple gauntlet) on his left which doubles as a sheild, as well a weapon. Background/Bio: Sairo was raised in Kakariko Village, the son of a Knight of Hyrule known as Idris Bijan. Being young, and having his mother die at a young age, 8, Sairo only had his father to look up too. But being a knight kept Idris away much of the time, and Sairo was left alone. Even then Sairo wanted to be a knight like his father, he wanted to be strong and follow in his foot steps so that he could make him proud, and be as widely known as his father. His father spent all the time he could with Sairo teaching him how to use a sword, and defend himself. Teaching him to become a knight as Sairo wished to be. Years went by, and Sairo grew to be a noble young man well liked by all he interact with. He learned to use a sword, and duel like a true knight. He even grew to excel further then his father in the arts, and could not be over looked. He, like his father, was recruited to be a Knight of Hyrule. He served under his father with pride, they fought together many of times and never lost a single battle. They were quickly becoming legends. Sairo's happiness was even greater when he meant his future wife to be, Sarah Aydin. The were married, and Sairo's life seemed to get better by each day. He was living his dream, and then some. All of this happiness would soon come crashing down around him.... The king of thieves Ganondorf Dragmire, also known by his alias, Mandrag Ganon, would be the cause of this. One day, quite by accident, a gate to the Golden Land of the Triforce was opened by a gang of thieves skilled in the black arts. This land was like no other. In the gathering twilight, the Triforce shone from its resting place high above the world. Learning of this Idris Bijan set out with a handful of the Knights of Hyrule to prevent Ganondorf from obtaining the Triforce. In a long running battle, Ganondorf fought his way past the Knights of Hyrule, and his own followers in a lust for the Golden Power. Nearing the Triforce Ganondorf raised his hands to grasp it, however the courageous Idris Bijan was there to cut him off. The two battled for what seemed like an eternity, but in the end Ganondorf had slain Idris. Idris lay there, helpless and dying, watching as the king of thieves stood triumphant over the Triforce and grasped it with his blood stained hands. Before his vision failed, and his heart stopped beating Idris witnessed Ganondorf making his wish. As he faded off this mortal corral he heard sinister laughter of Ganondorf echoing through the now silent land. Upon returning from a honeymoon spent at Lake Hylia, Sairo was informed of his loss. His father's prized sword, the Bronislaw, meaning Weapon of Glory, was handed down to him after retrieving it from the battle field along his father's body. Sairo slowly fell into depression, and closed himself off to the world. Only his wife, Sarah Aydin, would see him as he would permit no one else in their home. He eventually stopped aiding the Knights of Hyrule all together and was thought a coward by most. In time evil power began to flow from the Golden Land and greedy men were drawn there to become members of Ganondorf's army. Black clouds permanently darkened the sky, and many disasters beset Hyrule. The lord of Hyrule sent for the Seven Wise Men and the Knights Of Hyrule, and ordered them to seal the entrance to the Golden Land. Sairo learned of this, and for the first time in several long months he set foot out of his home with his father's sword in hand. He set out towards the Golden Land to run Ganondorf through and end his miserable life. Many lives were lost in the battle, however, their lives were not lost in vain, for they bought precious time for the Seven Wise Men to magically seal Ganondorf in the Golden land. But Sairo was there as well, behind Ganondorf ready to get revenge for the murder of his father. But Ganondorf knew of his presence and turned quickly as Sairo charged him. Ganondorf clashed with Sairo, their sword's blades sparking against each other, Ganondorf over power Sairo pushing him back and attacking simultaneously. Sairo's left hand was severed from the attack, his blood stained the ground beneath them. Before Ganondorf could strike the death blow, himself and Sairo were sucked into the Golden Land and sealed there. All of Hyrule rejoiced at the victory that upheld peace and order over Ganondorf's evil and chaos. This war, which had claimed many lives, became known as the Imprisoning War in stories told in later centuries. The Golden Land had come to be known as the Dark World, and Sairo was lost in these stories as he was there unknown to all. Many centuries have passed since the Imprisoning War. The land of Hyrule healed its wounds and the people lived in peace for a long time. Memories of the vicious Imprisoning War faded over the generations... *Skipping to Desbreko's new ending for A Link to the Past* Link is defeated by Agahnim at the top of Hyrule Castle Tower, after Princess Zelda was cast into the Dark World. With the Seal of the Seven Wise Men broken and Link out of the way, Ganon would then be free to return to the Light World (Hyrule), and rule both worlds as he had dreamed. But now that the Dark World was open would Sairo emerge from it as well, or has his time past? Had he died over time, or from the many dangers of the Dark World? Soon it will be known. Starting Location: Death Mountain (Dark World) Primary Weapon/Spell: Bronislaw (sword) Secondary Weapon: Dagger Items: Titan's Mitt, Magic Hammer, Bomb Bag(Holds 30), Bottle(Fairy), Hook Shot
Yu Yu Hakusho!
I'd love to sign up although I don't know a THING about Zelda...
Desbreko
Sure, you can have the Titan's Mitt, but it'll have to count as one of your five secondary items. If you don't want to replace one of those with it, you could just make it a normal gauntlet, though. You could replace the Moon Pearl, since I'm not including the people-transforming-into-monsters-in-the-Dark-World bit, since it would be a bit too complicated, I think. Unless you have some other use for it in mind, it'd be kind of useless. And like I said, "You don't really need to know anything about the story of any of the Zelda games to play in this RPG, since I made up the story." You pretty much only need to know the story that I posted, since you can make up your own weapons, spells, and items. And if you want help with anything, you can PM or IM me, and I'll be glad to help.
Boba Fett
Name: Abob Ttef Age: 39 Race: Hylian Character Class: Knight Gender: Male Appearance: Abob is short and has a wiry build, but makes up for his physical disadvantage with his bow and long hunting knife, which he wears at all times. He has grey eyes, from his mother, which betray little emotion. His hair is black and speckled with gray, showing his age. His bow and quiver of arrows are slung over his left shoulder, while his long hunting knife is stored in a sheath attached to his belt. He walks moves slowly and in an unhurried fashion, projecting an air of confidence to mask his insecurity, Background/Bio: Abob was born in Hyrule, and grew up there under the care of his parents. He was quiet, and studied to become a knight. He left home at seventeen, and set off into the wilderness. He wandered through both the dark and light worlds for several years, like a leaf blown by the wind. He never stopped, slowed down or stayed anywhere for long. He kept moving, learning how to survive in the wild, to hunt and to protect himself from the evil that lurked in the Dark world. He wandered for three years, until he finally fell in love with a Hylian woman who lived in the lost woods. They married and had several children. Things were going right for Abob, but suddenly a disaster struck. While he was off hunting a band of roving thieves stumbled upon his house and demanded everything they owned. His wife refused, and the thieves killed her and all of the children in a fit of rage. Abob returned hours later to find his family dead in his burning house. He was devastated, and has never recovered from his grief. He has lived in self imposed exile in the swamp ruins of the Dark World for many years, grieving. Lately things had begun to change. The evil creatures which served Ganon were getting more common and more powerful. It was no longer safe for Abob to live in the dark world.
