On Thursday nights, the people at my school (Northern Illinois University) like to party. This was a particularly big weekend, because it signified the end of Finals Week. Yeah, I'm hungover, but that's not what this is about. For those of you who drink, have you ever done something while you were intoxicated that you regret? Lord knows I have (I'll tell you later).

Since most of the people here are kids, or who just don't drink like myself, I doubt you'll get many responces. And even if it were so, they probably forgot what happened anyway.... you'd be better off with your topic being "Have you done anything you regret while not intoxicated" Which I'm sure alot of people have alot of stories.

At this point in time I don't regret much anything in my sober life :)

As for my intoxicated time, I do indeed regret something I did a few nights ago. I couldn't help it, however, because I had no idea what was going on and I'm sure the people who did the same thing didn't know either.

All I know is that people were really touchy-feely drunks that night and wanted to kiss me a lot...I indulged some of them with a few pecks, nothing more. But I did feel bad and told my boyfriend right after it happened [while we were both still drunk], and I think he was that type of mad-but-not-really-mad.

 Ah well, at least I know to look out for kissy drunk people from now on.

lol...I've stopped drinking over the past few months of my life, and, to tell the truth, I never got DEAD drunk enough to do anything I regret. So, no, I don't have any lamentations of times-intoxicated.

However, TN has it right. If you were to make a topic discussing regretful times while you were sober, you'd have many more stories.

Yea, Ive done alot of stupid stuff, but at the same time, I gotta say, I may have been out of control and mis-judging everything, but I still knew what was going on.

I guess it is all a thing of the situation. Sometimes we dont realize what we are doing, most of the time we just dont care.

Either way, I wanna give one big piece of advice to everyone here, but mostly for the kids.

DONT DRINK. and if you do DONT DRINK AND DRIVE.

Then what was the point of writing 'DONT DRINK'?

Anyways, I have never committed a single inappropriate act in my entire life. I'm perfect in every way. I would never do anything that my parents would not approve of.

I don't drink and never plan to, but most of my family and friends do (among other far worse things). However, I've rarely known any of them to do something that they would never do if they were sober outside of some insults they don't really mean, all of which are kind of jokes as it is. I guess rarely is subjective though, because a few times out of the hundreds of times they drink a year is kind of rare I'd say heh.

We have pretty big parties at my house every few weeks, and I'm usually around for them.... And I really cannot think of anything bad that's ever happened by comparison. I had to throw out at least 200 empty beer bottles this weekend (and there was only like 15 people here for that party, it was just a small b-day thing).

I'm sure that people around our age are far more likely to do something they shouldn't (or at least normally would stop themsevles from doing), mostly because they tend to over do things in general. Every friend I've had that had gotten so wasted that they couldn't really control themselves or remember what happened has basically cut back enough so they don't get that drunk heh.

I don't drink.....hey, I'm still young....my dad has a whole bar full or liquor and I refuse to even take a SIP of anything there. And I know I won't become some crazy alcoholic....I'm proud of not having to worry about getting caught or any of that other stuff. I have more important things to worry about than that. Dude, you just need to STOP drinking. I sure hope you aren't under the age of 21...I already know enough high school drop outs and they aren't too happy. Taco Bell's salary isn't very high for her to buy her beer and cigarettes.
You'll regret it espically if you're a girl....I know someone that got drunk and wound up in her best friend's boyfriend's bedroom. Then she got pregnant. See what drinking can do to you? You make a fool out of yourself and when you find out what you did, you totally regret it.

What scares me about teenagers, people my age, is that they often do not know that alcohol comes with a delay. There is a pretty stretch of time between when the alcohol goes down your throat, to when you start to feel it. So, teenagers get angry that they can't feel it, or they think it's not working, so to be cool, they just keep chugging it and drinking more and more and more, and when it finally does catch up with them, they get deathly ill. My mom almost lost one of her clients at work, a 13 year old girl, because she kept drinking so much that she had to be intubated. My mom is not an idiot, she knows that I drink occasionally. However, coming from a long long line of alcoholics, she also knows that I am responsible enough not to get drunk. My mom knows the effects of peer pressure, how awful it is, so she is honest with me. If I ask her if she has ever done anything dangerous or anything she regrets while under the influence, she will tell me. She wants me to learn from her mistakes, and I do. I trust myself when it comes to alcohol.

Currently I'm not old enough to drink, so I don't really have much choice. Beer is not very accessible to me.

But sometimes I scare myself. You always grow up thinking "I'll never drink, I'll never smoke, I'll never swear..." and then one by one you start doing all those things. Thoughts are starting to enter my head that make it seem as though alchohol has some plus sides...

Bullseye. That happens so much to people I know when they go to parties and stuff. They end up completely hammered after drinking contests where they think that the alcohol is barely having any effect.

I've rarely done things that I regret whilst I was drunk, but then again I rarely get drunk in the first place. I have a reasonable tolerance for alcohol and I drink in moderation, trying to make sure I don't get drunk.

The only bad thing that I ever did was.. *prepares to be laughed at* fall off a balcony at a party -_-;;

I punched a wall when i was high, and tried to kiss a tree o_O;; I have only been drunk about 3 times, hey i'm only 13! but it was not DRUNK! as in having to get my stomach pumped. I have only did two things when intoxicated, the first time i was high, i tried to kiss and tree and punched a wall. I only drink at New Year, Parties and special occasions. Not alot ;).

PS: I don't take HASH, i only have took it twice, but just a small bit to get the giggles, but the second time i was stoned :p.

I'm far~ from being allowed to drink, but I've had a few sips of champane/red wine/white wine before. Even some sake. Even one sip can make me drowsy-ish, so I don't think I'll ever be able to drink much at all. >.>

Whenever you go to a party, you should make sure you control yourself while you're there. I know it's fun being at a party and all, but you have to know your limits.

I've always said i'd never drink, but I do drink and I have gotten drunk. I think the worse state I've ever been in is when I threw up. I'd always said it's not attractive for girls throwing up from drinking too much. I was so disgusted with myself and swore i'd never do it again. However, in all those times I have always remembered what had happened.

Now I just don't have a taste for it, so I only drink occasionally, and I make sure I don't go past my limit.
