hence "people in the occult can probably hear things too". What I mean is I don't know where I stand on some forms of "mediums".. I have my own reasons for that though, which I'm not gonna go into. But I'm well aware that any form of magic/mysticism such as psychics is considered using Satan's power. I just suspect that God might be able to get the odd word in here and there, in the very much less Satanic forms (again, this is more from experience than actual biblical backup)

Anyway, so yeah. I realise that the Bible doesn't look too well upon psychics and that kind of thing. I just haven't worked out my own personal opinion on it yet (I do that a lot- rather than take the Bible's word for it, which makes you lose a lot of arguments...)

it's funny. ppl rather listen when i dont mention what bible(Word of God) has to say. but when i start using bible, ppl starts to get offended..even for those who claims to be christians..-_-

Go ahead, laugh, but 90% of the dejevu instances I have had I have been able to honestly say that it is because I have dreamt the occurance. I'm not sure if that's what happens with other people, or if it happens with everyone and I'm the only one who can recall it. I don't know. Whether or not that's psychic I'm not sure either. But the mind is a very, very powerful thing - and people drastically underestimate it. To me, everyone has the capacity for things such as telekenisis, psychokenisis, telepathy, etc... but we are too narrow minded and ignorant to harness the power.

Hey, I wasn't offended, don't worry about that ;) I was just clarifying on my earlier post, in case there was some misinterpretation there.

I'm not quite sure where I've implied that I was offended.. so I'm sorry if I did infer that by mistake. If you're talking about my last comment, what I meant was that I tend to, whenever I read something in the bible, I justify it in my own mind. That way, I actually have a point if a discussion ever comes up, rather than just pointing to the bible. I wasn't (or rather, I wasn't intentionally) inferring that there was anything wrong with the way you do things ;).

So yeah.. I wasn't offended, and I'm sorry if I gave that impression off ;)

lol. no. i was agreeing with you about using your own methods of opinions rather than using bible..because it has chance to say what you had to say if it is your opinion..but when i start mentioning bible or Jesus, i'll get shut off from the beginning and wont get a chance to tell anything.

i was dealing with so called christian ppl at other board..who actually got offended what bible had to say. i was giving an example. sorry if i gave you wrong impression(which i think i did 0_o). lol. i've been sorta reading your replies lately and looks cool to see how you give a chance to mention God in your posts to other ppl.

WHOA!! big misunderstanding.. sorry.. I took that comment the wrong way entirely. I saw it as the kind of thing you'd say when lota of people were offended for no reason, and you kind of say to them "It's funny how people are always offended by what I have to say" Kind of thing. I've noticed that if I'm highly stressed, I have dreams that relate to what my stress is about. This is why psychiatrists often analyze dreams -- they often do contain messages/feelings that are based on a person's emotions.

So I believe in that, but I don't think I believe in palm reading or crystal balls. Most of those people are just out to make a quick buck.[/color]

You'd be surprised at how much they make around Halloween and the Winter Solstice... I've went hang out around one just for the heck of it, and it was so funny... she had a book on her lap that had all the things that EVERYONE goes through that they don't notice in their everyday lives... it was funny watching her blurt out random things... and the look on the people's faces were priceless...

Hey Jeff, maybe people don't get offended, just bored with your bible bashing. So the deamon thing, that was what? Explain to me, I'm interested. I believe in pyschics and all that stuff. I mean, there is so much brain matter in our subconscious. Has anyone heard of Carl Jung's theory about collective unconsciousness? It basically states that we have all been connected, everyone throughout history, memories and past, so that we can feel like we have known someone for their life that we may have only just met. Anyways, I still don't believe in psychics, but I had yet another dream "come true". See, I have a manager named Shannon--nice guy and all. Lately, we haven't been that great of friends--really cold, actually. Sunday night/Monday morning, I had this dream that we were really good friends again, though my brain was screaming, "This isn't logical!" When I woke up, I start praying desperately that I could be Shannon's friend again. (It's no fun to be on your GM's bad side, especially one as cool as him.)

Wonders of wonders, he and I "made up" during the lunch shift today--that is, if you call throwing sauteed onions and freaking out high-strung peeps (me) as making up, heh. It's good to be friends with him again. YAY! :haha:

I heard this thing once, if you stare at your cat and it turns to look at you then your cat is psychic. I dunno about that but I do kinda belive in that whole thing where you get nervous when you're being watched, even if you don't know you're being watched.

Many people belive that if you die in your dreams you actually, die. Obviously, noone cane confirm if this is true, Though it would explain why you don't actually hit the ground in falling dreams.

Anyone ever have one of those dreams where you fall and you actually feel like you've lammed into the bed, and you wake up like, WHOA!? I have them every couple of weeks.:D

No, the cat is not psychic, it's just paranoid that some wacko is staring at it. Cat's are fearful and paranoid same as people are. If someone six times your size, stood there, just looking at you, wouldnt you turn around and wonder what the feck was going on?

There are people out there who have, this so called six sense thingy, not seeing dead people or anything, but I do believe it exists.
