"Locker #2-257," Ryan put his combination in and opened his locker and looked at the barren brown walls inside the metal closet. "Looks like i'll need to add my own little touch of life to this thing." Ryan didn't even put anything in it, he closed the door and headed to the library, he walked into the entryway to the huge library and walked over to the desk and saw one of his favorite librarians.[/i] Ryan: Hey Dona. Dona: Hey Ryan, how was your summer. Ryan: To short. And yours? Dona: Same here. Oh and you won't be able to get on the computers yet. Ryan: How come? Dona: The dumb-dumb computer people screwed up again. Ryan: Don't they always. [i]Just then a young girl walked over and bent over and singed herself in, her name was Jamie.[/i] Ryan: Hello, I'm Ryan. Jamie: [i]quietly.[/i] Hello. Ryan: You new here? Jamie: Yes. Ryan: Don't worry, you'll have fun here at Topeka Highschool. The only bad thing is the evil, EVIL part of the year when in your gym class teacher decides to have you guys take swimming. I went through it last year, i swear i'll never look at a swimming pool the same. *shudders.* Jamie: Hehehe. Thanks, i think i'll like it here. Ryan: So what you going to do here? Jamie: Use the computers. Dona: They're dead. Jamie: Oh, well i guess i'll just meander around. Ryan: Hey how about i take you on a tour. Do you have your schedule? Jamie: Yes. This was to be his final year at Topeka before heading out into the wide wide world. He was thinking about his campaign when he almost bumped into two students walking his way "Watch were you're going!" Ryan shouted at him, "sorry" was Max's reply. "vote for me" he muttered quickly as he headed into the library. He wanted to pull his campaign posters off the hard dirve, but the computers were down, Max had a feeling that the techies had not got the network operational yet. [i] every second counts! [/i] he though as he hurried off to make some hand - made campaign strategies. "This year is going to be different" he yelled loudly as he made a hasty exit. The two had accidentally ran into what Ryan guessed was a Senior. "Hmmm. Never seen a senior here this early, oh well, there's a time for anything here." The two continued down the hallway towards the main staircase when Jaimie stopped.[/i] Jaimie: Okay, my first hour says here that i have gym class on the first floor and band second hour. Ryan: You're in band?! I'm in band too! This is a coincidence. Oh well really you'll alternate mainly between band and gym because during the first nine weeks the band will be doing its marching things like at football games etc. Jaimie: Sounds fun! Ryan: It is, well once you get past some of the obnoxious kids. Jaimie: So where do we meet? Ryan: In the auditorium. Jaimie: Why there? Ryan: The band room is being remodled, and it probobaly won't be finished until, oh i think i heard around the middle of October early November. Jaimie: [i]Mouth drops in surprise[/i] That long?! Ryan: Yeah, well shall we continue? Jaimie: Okay. She headed straight for the counselor's office : it was never too late to start getting ready to apply for college! She picked up an SAT form and looked at the first date she could go take it. It was soon. She smiled as one of the counselor's, Mrs. Johnson, walked in. [b]Mrs. J:[/b] Hey Rebekkah! How was your summer? [b]Rebekkah:[/b] It was great! The Dance Line went to camp in July and it was so much fun. I can't believe I made captain this year. [b]Mrs. J:[/b] Are you ready for football season? [b]Rebekkah:[/b] Of course! I love marching with the band. And after band season it's competition! They began talking as they headed towards Nick's Homeroom... James: "Yo Nick, ready for another year?" Nick: "Always" Joe: "Mister Popular" Nick: "Watch it. They walked down the stairs and up to there locker, but it seemed there was a large crowd near it. Joe: "Whats goin on?" The pushed there way through the crowd to find two kids fighting each other... Joe: "Who is it?" Nick walked around the other side of the circular shape of the kids. Nick: "Holy **** its James!" Nick and Joe jump into the fight, joe immediatly grabs james and pulls him out as Nick grabs the kids shirt and begans punching his face... --- I thought there should be a fight, theres never a 1st day without a fight, so this could be a major thing in the school, most kids would hear about it or see it... Frankie Posted December 17, 2002 Share Posted December 17, 2002 Leigh headed to her sixth class... unfortunatly she was very late..... she noticed there were other kids all chatting in the corner... it seemed the teacher was late for the first day .. each person was in a group chatting away with friends... leigh just took a desk and sat down nad began doodleing on her notebook. Leigh glanced around...still no teacher.... yet everyone just chatted and catted each with their oun little group...some popular girls talking about their hair nad their nails and what the summer did to their complection ... .some guys off in a corner compareing cards.... seemed like a group of freshmen guys who played magic then off in another corner were even more guys with a few girls playing and tradeing yugioh cards... then there was herself..... sitting off in the desk by herself..... but what else would she do.. she had no friends.... sure she had assorted cards yugioh.... a few digimon.... but not anything to brag about...exept for her Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon but then again her looks and size excludes her from any groups... they all seemed to have rules... she jsut sighed and drew Blue Eyes Toon Dragon on her note book... Just across the road he saw Leigh, who was kind enogh this morning to help him up. He smiled as he remembered her kindness, Then he saw some skateboarding brats hassling her and trying to run her over "Hey you !" shouted max as he ran over to the aid of Leigh, who was visibly upset. The skateboarding brats went after Max, who then ran over the road, and, using some sort of newfound strenght, ripped the stop sign off the post and whacked one of the brats across the face "now get lost!" max yelled. He then ran over to leigh "hey, are you alright? Leigh: yeah, will be now, thanks Max: hey, it is the least i could do, i owe you one for this morning :) Leigh: now you don't we are square now. Max noticed the Yu Gi Oh cards in Leigh's bag Max: you into Yu Gi Oh? Leigh: yeah, digimon as well Max: you're kidding! I like Digimon too! She needed to put on the extra armor that mai used agenst yugi in the championships.... and then the whip and it would be done.. a kid walks up and swipes up her notebook.... stares at it shrugs and drops it on the ground continueing what he was doing.. leigh snarled at him in her mind outside she just sighed and reached down to get it... as she did it one of the popular girls put her foot on it. Girl: What a waste of ink....and time... you shouldent be doodleing..... you should be like..... looking for the nearest tred mill.. leigh ignores the girls remark and yanks her note book out of under the girls foot sending her out of balence backwards into another desk... she grins and sits in it Girl: I think... this will be my seat for the rest of the year leigh sighed and rolled her eyes.... shes put up with it before she can do it again... whats another.... 4 years.. They got into Math and she opened her book. The guy stole her drawing of a Pheonix and held it in the air... Guy: Hey look at this, prissy pants is drawing cutie pootie drawings.. Kayla: Hey give that back!!!! With that Leigh pushed him aside and got Kayla's drawing back.Kayla striaghtened up and thanked Leigh. Kayla: T-Thank-k Y-you..... Leigh: No problem... She went to band (her 2nd class) and met up with Corey and Ryan. They both seemed happy and nice to each other, so she decided to watch them from the other side of the room while they talked. She hoped they wouldn't really get too close because Corey knew a few too many stories about her and hoped he wouldn't tell Ryan. Jaimie sighed. When she finally realized what she was doing, she realized she also had a problem. Was she falling for a guy she doesn't even really know?
