They parted when the bell went, each of them going off to their separate classes. After enetering maths, he soon found that one of the students in his class had been involved in a car accident, and was in a critical condition at hospitol. They didn't say who it was, but only one kid was absent in his class, Ryan. Her and Jack were going to the park then, she was taking him to her father's in New Orleans. After she got dressed, she leashed up Percy. She got a bag, droped a bottle of water, some snacks and some mone into the bag. Jack pulled up in his car which was now fixed. She put Percy in the back and got in. They drove to a place where no one really went. Percy quickly took off after a sq..(ugh can't spell....help!) when she let him loose, which left Jaimie and Jack alone. They held eachother close as they used to do in the past and watched the ripples in the pond. Percy would come back every now and then just to make sure they were still there.[/color] -------------------------------------------------- I'm not crazy! As they walked off the plane her dad was standing there with some flower. Jaimie: Daddy! Dad: Hey sweetie! These are for you. Jaimie: Thank you daddy. By the way, do you remember John? Dad: yeah. What about him? Jack: Hi. Jaimie: This is John but now his name's Jack. Dad: Alright. I'm glad I got the house. Or else we would have to put John Boy on the floor. Jaimie: Daddy! It's Jack! Dad: Alright. So are you ready to go see my new house? Jaimie: Can't wait! Do you still have Misty? Dad: Yeah. SHe's a good car. Why would I give her up? JAimie: I don't know. hehe. Let's go! They picked up their bags at the baggage pick-up and walked to the parking lot. Her dad's car stood out most. It was a dark purple and the only one they've ever seen before. They loaded the bags into the car and hoped in. Her dad found his old Eagles tape and played it. He knew it was her all time favorite band. Jaimie didn't even recognize her old house. He changed it so much. The only thing that looked familiar was her room. It didn't really change. She set her bags down in her closet. To her suprise, she found her favorite costume she used to wear. It was a ruffly shirt and a long black skirt. She smiled and looked around. The walls were covered with sained glass pictures,pictures of her, Micah(her older brother), the dogs and different other things. She plopped down on her water bed and smiled. He sighed as old memories swamped him, making him tear up and cry like nothing before ever had. He remembered his first kiss, his first scraped knee, his first fight (first fight he'd won, anyway), and many other things. He saw his old house, where he had experienced over half of his worst, most painful memories. The decrepit, destroyed edifice seemed to leer at him, smirking evilly. Jack grinned back, pulling a metal baseball bat from a hiding place underneath the trunk of his old pecan tree and going to work. It was marked down for destruction, and he wanted to be the one to strike the first blow. He tore his worst niughtmares apart with the bat, sighing and walking back to Jaimie's place when nothing but a pile of splinters. She smiled knowing that he would never leave her again. She watched his chest rise and fall with every breath he took. She wondered what he was dreaming about. She hoped all her friends were alright without her. The familiar room was a comfort. Se lived in that house when she was very young and that had always been her room. Her eyelids felt heavy She fell asleep. In the morning, when she awoke, she found a present from her dad. A tiny Husky puppy was sitting on her bed watching her. She got up ad went to find her dad. He was in the kitchen cooking breakfast which was unusual for him to do. Jaimie: Hi daddy! What's with the puppy? dad: She's for you. I hope you like her. Jack went with me this morning to pick her out. He told me how you always wanted a big dog and for it to be a husky. She needs a name. Jaimie: I know, Kira! Dad: I like it. Jack walked in, he kissed Jaimie on the cheek. She told him about the puppy. He was thrilled. Jack: what's planned today? Dad: I don't know. Do you just want to hang out here today? All the way home Ryan just kept thinking...Thinking of why he was the one who always was tormented or just plain made misreable. It had all started in Sixth grade. After a new kid arrived at his middle school a rumor started around that he and the kid were gay with each other, of course that was not true. Ryan had gone to the principal but nothing was done, just a slap on the wrist and that was it. Nothing at all was done. Not until he was in 7th grade did things actually get done. Ryan's mom had enough and told the principal if things didn't shape up the next person he would be talking to would be a lawyer, well things started to shape up, that was until a teacher's aid sexually harrassed him as well. Ryan's mom was furious when this happened. Of course the teacher's aid denied all of this. After a little bit Ryan drifted off into sleep. He didn't dream, he never dreamed. When he did dream it was always a nightmare, that always had death or some kind of evil in it. Ryan suddenly awoke from sleep only to realize it was 12:00 A.M., he stood up stretched and changed into his pajamas and flopped back into his bed. This time his dream was a nightmare, he dreamed that he was driving along and suddenly he came upon some train tracks, he started to cross but his car suddenly died in the middle of the track and then a train was heading for him, Ryan tries to undo his seatbelt but to no avail, the train is upon him and then...Nothing. Ryan woke up in a cold sweat. He looked to his left, his dog just lay on the floor asleep. Twitching every now and then. "Silly dog, always dreaming." One of his favourite bands were playing there. In four weeks, and the tickets had just gone on sale. Billy had just bought one for himself and Rebekkah, as a present. He didn't know what for yet, but he knew it would come in handy when he forgot something. Ten of his freinds had bought tickets already. What made it even beetter? It was the weekend! It had been her favorite food her dad made since she was really little. She tried to help him then she sat down at the kitchen table. Dad: How do you like Kira? Jaimie: She's wonderful! Dad: Well, I was thinking she could stay here with me but since she seems to look up to you as her momma, I guess she can go with you when you go back. I'm sorry for causeing you and your mom to move away. This neighborhood just isn't the same without you two. Her crystal blue eyes darted around as they were taken to a small place in City Park. When they finally got there, Kira ran off onto the island while Jaimie walked slowly. The place was changed very much. The place was cleaner and more taken care of. The water wich was once a dark brown, was now clear. She sat down next to her dad at the only picnic table on the tiny island. They caught up on what was happening in each others lives and such. They didn't realize the sun was setting and Kira was begging to go home. When they got home, Jack was already up. Jaimie kissed him and walked into her room. She quickly whiped away a tear when she heard him enter the room. [/i] [b]Jack:[/b]What's wrong? [b]Jaimie:[/b] Oh, it's nothing....I'm just going to really miss my house.
