Leighs mind raced even if she wasent awake... visons of her past flashed in front of her mind .. like horror stories... a marathon... her bast boyfriend mistake... her fears... her wishes and her un explainable hopes... but what flashed most of all... was ... her most impossible hopes dreams and wishes... .. like her mind was getting back at her for holding it all in... rubbing the truth into her face.. or mind telling her its never gonna happen they will never come true and she needed to get back into reality instead of always daydreaming and constintly hideing her thoughts .... it was like her mind was.... getting back at her for all the times she ignored what it said... that little voice in the back of her head...


the nigthmare continued to race

[Domon]

[i]Ryan saw Leigh on the floor passed out. He knew something was wrong cause he had called her once when she was asleep and she answered the phone right away, he knew something bad had happened, he saw the police reach for his shoulder radio and he called for an ambulance to come and get Leigh. As Leigh was being wheeled out on a gurney Ryan walked out onto her front porch and prayed that she would be alright, J.C. offered to give him and Jaimie a ride to the hospital and they accepted. While in the car Ryan called his mom and told her he would be late, he was going to the hospital. She said that was okay.[/i]

Jaimie: I wonder what happened.

Ryan: I don't know.

J.C.: I heard the cops say that her drink could have been spiked, but why that would happen they don't know why.

Ryan: Well all i know is that i hope she will be okay when we get to the hospital.

[Frankie]

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*Past Memory*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~


Leigh was in 4th grade it was christmas break and almost 8 months after her parents split p the first time. She dident understand what was going on but she decided to go with the flow. During christmas break she went to her dads to viset.... the day after christmas they got a phone call the home she had lived in for so long had burned down... arson or some sort. her mom then told her that she had to live with her dad from now on... for... her mom dident want her ... she was devestated.... then they moved.... but then her parents got together years later. Unfortunatly she had gone through 6 kidney stones and a cyst since then. She remembered her older brother who she cared for so much.... a week after the fire her brother told her he was leaveing and wasent comeing back she remembers turning around and seeing him get in his car and leaveing... not even turning around for one last look.... it fell apart. her life.... it haunted her...

Her body and mind...felt.... like it was being ripped apart.... dizzy and falling apart too...

suddenly she felt her self begin to actualy wake...was this nightmare over?

[Domon]

[i]Ryan had been sitting in Leigh's room in a chair, in another chair Jaimie had fallen asleep and Ryan had put a blanket over her just then Ryan saw Leigh starting to stir. Then it looked like she had fallen asleep. Ryan decided to go ahead and take a walk. After taking a walk he finds a hallway of doctors, ryan walks a ways down and sees a picture of his father. "Doctor Dean Brant. 1942-1991"[/i]

Ryan: I miss you dad.

Dean: As i miss you son.

[i]Ryan whirled around but he didn't see anything, he rubbed his head, he must be that tired. He took the elevator back up to the floor Leigh's room was on and he walked into Leigh's room and sat down in his chair and fell asleep.

[Frankie]

Suddenly leigh jolted upwards and paniced wakeing everyone....

Leigh: Derek......... fire....... insaity

she fell backwards closed her eyes and shook her head viciously..

she finaly stoped and then just kept her eyes shut and muttered her brothers name over and over again.... breathing heavily

she coughed violently a couple times and tasted blood....

[I] just...great[/I] she thought to herself as she muttered her brothers name to teh world

jsut then 2 nurses and a docter rushed in

[Barra Maral]

The next morning, Corey walked into Leighs hospital room. Jaimie saw him.

Jaimie: Corey, what are you doing here? How did you know I was here?

Corey: Im comming to see Leigh, and I knew you were here because your mom called me and told me to check on you. So how is she?

Jaimie: Well, shes sleeping but she seems to be alright.

Corey: Thats good. Well, I have to go. Please tell her I stopped by and say hi. Bye *he walks out the room and home*

[Domon]

[i]Ryan was heading down the hall back towards Leigh's room when he saw Corey walking out the door. Ryan stopped and talked to him.[/i]

Ryan: Hey Corey! How you doing?

Corey: I'm fine. And you?

Ryan: I'm good. Hey was Leigh awake when you were in there?

Corey: No. So why you still here?

Ryan: I took the day off and plus i'm having the doctor take a look at my leg.

Corey: Oh. Well see ya.

Ryan: Bye.

[Frankie]

A cop entered the room and started talkign with a nurse quietly

Cop: Well we have some evidence in the lab but im sure someone put some type or drug in there. Why i wouldent know... this case seems to be a dead end no telling how it got there or why.

Nurse: I see... even our oun labs and blood tests.. they arent picking anything up.... so if you guys get anything it would be extramly helpful... last night she was violently woken up and... she muttered some name and then started coughing up blood... it would be much needed if we knew what was in that drink...

Cop: We will find out... hopefully.... we have a few guys checking out her house ... but another thing troubles me... Why was she home alone.... shes only 15... she needs someone there...

Nurse: Troubleing huh

Cop: No kidding..... i had reports of soemone seeing someone inside... but this is such a confuseing one... we havent had soemthing happen like this in years..

[Jesus Chicken]

[I]Billy sat around that Sunday (is it sunday?) thinking about Bek. He knew what was going on now. It was the first time he actually did know where a relationshp he was having was going. It was a good feeling. Billy had heard the news about Leigh being in a hospital, and he decided to go and see how she was doing, while he was there he could check up on his mum aswell...
The taxi rolled into the hospital and Billy stepped out after paying the fare. He entered the hospital, asked for some directions and found Leigh's room. He walked in, as Leigh lay there, reading.[/I]

Billy: Hey.

Leigh: Oh!, Hi Billy, didn't expect to see you here.

Billy: Well I jst heard you were in hospital, so I came to see what's going on, how are you feeling?

Leigh: Fine, fine, much better. I'll be back tomorrow.

Billy: Cool, sorry I have to keep moving, someone else to visit. Good to hear you well. See you tomorrow.

Leigh: Bye!

[I]Billy was glad she knew who he was, he didn't know many people, so everyone he knew was precious. Billy walked down the hall and into a lift, he hit the button subconsciously. Waited for th lift to carry him up, stepped out and walked into a room he knew the layout of all too well. He walked in, but the person who should have been in the bed wasn't. Billy had feared this moment for way too long, and he jumped to conclousions(sp?). He found the nearest nurse to find ot what had become of his mother, although he knew the asnwer before the nurse could say she was sorry... He walked home from the hospital that afternoon. It took him 5 hours, but he didn't feel like having to talk to anyone. By the time he made it home, it was dark. The night seemed perfect for his current mood. Billy walked inside and started to play the song he was going to play at his mother's funeral... not too long away now. He wondered if he should call and talk to anyone, but he wasn't unstable, just miserable. The only person who had any idea what might have happenned, Rebekkah, wouldn't know 'till tomorrow.
That night, he didn't sleep, he would still go to school tomorrow. No one needed to know anything was wrong. No one needed to know his mother was gone...[/I]

[Domon]

[i]Ryan had just come back from his appointment with the doc who had told him that they would take his cast off later today and put on a lighter one, like a splint today. Ryan then walked into Leigh's room and was surprised to see her sitting up reading a magazine, except something wasn't right, Jaimie wasn't there.[/i]

Ryan: Leigh where's Jaimie?

Leigh: She said she was going on home to get changed.

Ryan: Did J.C. take her home?

Leigh: Yeah.

Ryan: Phew, okay. I was just wondering. What happened anyways???

Leigh: Welllllllll..........

Ryan: Come on Leigh out with it, plus who was that guys name you hollered out loud last night?

[i]Leigh got a depressed look on her face and then she started to talk.[/i]

[Frankie]

Leigh sighed and rolled her eyes and layed her head back

Leigh: Now what.... soon dads gonna like not come home ... and why do these things happen to you

Derek: Dont Worry [I]worry[/I] You Will Get out Someday [I] Someday[/I]

Leigh looked around and saw no one.... but her brothers voice echoed through her mind.... she was confused now... and she half way lied to billy.... she wasent doing so good.... she started coughing again.... she touched her tongue with the tip of her figner and looked at it...

Leigh: Just great.... now why am i coughing up blood.... wait... i was doing that last night too..... *sigh* I seem to get all the bad luck

Leigh: Derek... hes my brother..

[Domon]

Ryan: So you're brother, Derek. What happened to him?

Leigh: He left when i was young.

Ryan: Oh. I'm sorry. I know how it feels to lose someone.

Dean: I haven't left you yet son.

[i]Ryan snapped his head up but he didn't see anyone.[/i]

Ryan: Gah!

Leigh: What's wrong?

Ryan: I swear i'm losing my mind. It feels like i keep hearing my dad speaking to me. It feels so weird.

Leigh: Oh.

Ryan: I'm probably freaking you out.

Leigh: Nah.

Ryan: Well i'm going to go down to the cafeteria to get some food.

[i]Ryan walked out of Leigh's room and he headed down to the elevator.[/i]

[Frankie]

Leigh noticed he was looking a little.... concerned and his mind was on other things.... she sighed and finaly remembered waht happned last night.... but.... no one was in the room to tell..... she sighed and layed her head back yet again and her memorys seemed to make... an eye lid slideshow

Leigh: derek...................... Fawn................... fire....

she sighed again and opened her eyes and looked around... she hated hospitals.... even jsut going to viset someone she hated them.. she hated even worse to be in one

[Domon]

[i]After getting off the elevator and heading for the cafeteria and sitting down with a tray of food Ryan began to ponder why he kept hearing his father's voice. He couldn't believe it, he thought he was becoming crazy. After he ate Ryan started up towards the ER, before he knew it he was in the ER. Ryan just stood there looking around and then Ryan saw his father standing there looking over a nurses shoulder at a patients stat sheet and then he proceeded to walk over to the patient. Ryan followed the ghostly apparation with his eyes and then a nurse passed by him and then turned around and walked back and looked him in the face.[/i]

Nurse: Is there something i can help you with?

Ryan: No. I uhh. No, sorry i was just reminicing, you see my dad worked here before he.

Nurse: Oh my god! Is that you Ryan?! Well i'll be! I haven't seen you since you were four.

Ryan: Yeah, i was just here and i swear to god i saw my dad looking over your shoulder and then he went into the truama room one. Isn't weird?

Nurse: Well i think sometimes he is here watching over all of us.

Ryan: Well i gotta go. Bye.

[i]Ryan walked out of the ER and headed for the elevator when suddenly he heard his father.[/i]

Dean: RYAN! DON'T GO ON THE ELEVATOR! TAKE THE STAIRS!

[i]Ryan was so scared he took the stairs. Once he got up the stairs he found out that the elevator was out of order because one of the cables had snapped. Ryan was comepletely puzzled by this. He walked back into Leigh's room and sat down with a perplexed look, Leigh looked at him and started to talk.[/i]

[Frankie]

Leigh: You know.... seeing ghosts or spirits is sometimes an unusual thing yet... sometimes its helpfull

Ryan:W H A T T H E !!!!

Leigh: You have that look on your face aside from the perplexed one..... I dont knwo waht your going through in your head...but remember your not going crazy... i see my fawn all the time... i hear her too...

Ryan: Talk

Leigh: Oh not about fawn.. or derek i must tell you what happned last night.... i was walking home and i felt someone was following me... a few guys from... school... i recognise them but i did not know them... anyways they started bothering me... till they ripped my bandana off and such they pushed me around and i sat my drink down and threw in a few side blows and shouldered them many times... but there were 2 of them i am thinking when i threw one to the ground.... the other must have done soemthign to my drink before picking up his friend and running off

Ryan: AH

[Domon]

[i]Ryan got a look on his face that said. "Why didn't you stay with us?" Leigh read this look like a book.[/i]

Leigh: Because i didn't want to disturb you and Jaimie.

Ryan: Well after you passed out i had a friend of mine drive by your house and he said he saw someone in the house.

Leigh: Oh really?

Ryan: Yeah. I guess he might have seen you before you collapsed but i would have thought you would have heard the phone ring.

Leigh: This is so strange.

Ryan: Damn straight there!

[i]The two continued to talk until Jaimie showed up again and then the three got into various conversations until Ryan and Leigh brought up the subject of Ryan seeing his father's ghost.[/i]

[Jesus Chicken]

[I]Billy awoke after getting about ten minutes of sleep. His alarm went off and he rose from his bed. He absently walked over towards the shower, took off his boxers and clambered in. There he remained for about twenty-five minutes. Billy got out, dried himself off, threw on some clothes and headed off for school carrying his guitar.
he was hoping to catch Rebekkah before school started, tell her what had happenned. He must have looked like crap, as he was called a druggo more times then ever as he walked into the school grounds. Billy didn't care, like any of them would have any effect on his life ever.
He found her as she walked away from her locker. As soon as she spotted him, she knew something was up. He ran over to her, dropping his bag and guitar. Tears ran down his face as he ran to her. She was all he had left, as ridiculous as it felt. People turned and stared to see what was going on. All Billy wanted was someone to hold, someone to be there for him. The only one who had done that, had gone sometime last night.[/I]
"My mother" Billy choked.
"She's gone"
[I]Billy collapsed at her feet, passing out.[/I]

[Frankie]

Leigh kinda went silent after a bit of chatter and she got an odd look on her face jsut before she started to cough up a storm

Ryan: Oh boy

Leigh:" No *cough* im fine... take... your girl *smile/cough* and go talk... to her... *cought cough* No need to waste good personal time on me

leigh looked more pale then usual

[color=blue]Jaimie was soon asleep and dreaming before she knew it.

[i] In the dream,she was walking on a path deep in the woods. The birds chirped loudly as if telling everyone she was there. She looked down and say she was wearing a light blue dress much like a midevil dress. The trees looked as if they were bowing before her and dancing for joy that she was there.The path turned andleaded her to a cottage. In the doorway was a man. He was a well built man with long silver hair and matching eyes. She did not know him but somehow the word "Pheonix" was on the tip of her tounge.She said it, he only smiled and nodded.

Man: Welcome,Angel.I've been waiting for you for sometime now.
JAimie: What is this place?Who are you?
Man: This is the place in your dreams.The place where deep in your heart you wish to live. I am Pheonix,the person you wish to be with in your dreams.
Jaimie: Why can't I remember ever having these dreams about you and this place?
Pheonix: Because you don't wish to remember them. The ones you want to remember are the ones of that boy Ryan and that other guy who has hurt you.
Jaimie: I remember a little bit now. You are the one who I've seen when I look behind me sometimes or when I see a bit of silver,I am seeing your hair. I always feel your eyes fixed on me and sometimes locked in my own.I love this place....I really do,but I cannot stay here. My mom and friends will miss me and I just cannot leave them.

Pheonix just sighed and said "If you ever want to come back here,all you have to do is dream about me." [/i]

Jaimie's eyes opened and she sat up. She noticed a strange picture of a bird hanging on her wall. It's eyes were silver unlike many birds.
She heard a knock on the door but didn't answer...she was too into the picture. Corey let himself in and found her.

Corey: Hey...you better get ready before you're late for school.

Jaimie got up and went to the bathroom.

Corey: Hey, neat pic!
Jaimie:*from the bathroom* Yeah...i's odd how it got there too...I'll tell you about it later though.

When she was finished getting ready,they headed off to school.[/color]

[I]Billy awoke, with tool in his ears. He didn't remember putting in on, but he wasn't going to complain. Third eye was a damn good song. Billy looked up, and realised he was at home. He didn't remember going home either. Nor did he remember cooking anything.
There was only one person who could, or would have done anything like this for him, and she sat in his lounge room.
Everyone else must have been at school, and she was here, in her senior year, just for him. She lay there, her beautiful hair, falling down over her. He melted right there.
Billy was being torn apart inside. His mother just passed away, and this beautiful woman, coming into his life.[/I]

The cop entered leighs room and looked at leigh

Cop: What exactly happned last night

so leigh told him about the coffee the boys and going home

Cop: Why dident you just yell for help?

Leigh: Why would a cop ask that anyways... i would rather defend myself then ask for help... i have always been a loner.... ALWAYS ALONE... NEVER NEEDING HELP I NEVER ASK FOR IT CAUSE I DONT NEED IT

Leigh suddenly flipped her lid a bit yelling at the cop who steped back a bit as a nurse enters and interupts

Nurse: WHATS GOING ON IN HERE

Leigh: Oh.... heh... oops.... i got a little carried away.... sorry about the comotion.....

the nurse leaves

Cop: Anyways... i get your point now why were you home alone... shouldent there be someone at your house

Leigh: Oh my mom left and wont be back..ever..... and dad got a job is on a buisness trip ... no telling when he will be back.... never was around for me anyways... always to stuck on his booze.... so it doesent matter i can take care of myself... i always have... i dont need ANYBODY

Leigh: Not me.... my past experiences with a guy has proven... i was ment... to be alone

Leigh: Riight... not to mention the fact that i swear theres no guy out there that can look past my looks. My size.... my looks... i have figured theres no guy out there that will ever be kind enough and pure enough to see past all that

Boy: Your wrong...... hopefully one day you will understand... hopefully one day... you will actualy see your words being proven wrong.

just then... the boy known as joey.. her oldest brother.... walked off never to be seen again [/I]

the cop was stunned for a second as she burst into tears... the nurse re entered slamed her foot down and pointed to cop out

Nurse: GET OUT YOU ARE UPSETTING HER CANT YOU SEE..... LEAVE HER ALONE She has a lot on her mind now please sir.... leave at once

the cop was even more stunned by the nurses outburst and lowers his head sighs and leaves with out a single word..... the nurse sat a glass of water next to her on a table and exited

Leigh looked up and finaly regained her oun mind back.. it was lsot in her stupid meorys..

Leigh: Oh for peats sake.. *laughs* what on earth am i looking back at those memorys for.. .they wont help me any way now..

it snaped in her mind though

Leigh: ...................................... if i am wrong..... what joey wishes.... still has not come true.... .... *she slams her fist down onto the bed* but ill do my hardest to prove my oun self wrong.....

leigh thought to herself about how wierd that sounded..

she laughed and the nurse peeked in

Nursse to herself: Wow.. she got over that quick...... wonder what is actualy bothering her.... ahh teen years..... horror worst tiem of years in life

she walks off to tend to a couple new patiants before getting buzzed back to leighs room

Leigh: Nurse I would like to go home today if possible

The nurse was stunned

Nurse: Your crazy right you still keep coughing up blood... and we still dont know what they put in your drink... not to mention we found a few new problems that we...... havent told you... seems... your enemic (sp)... you need to up your iron intake.... ALOT... you have very small red blood cells and low blood coutn at that

Leigh: Figures... sure ill pick up some iron pills on my way home.... if i ever go

the nurse thinks and exits the room.

Leigh: Took her long enough to leave.... hmm.. i wonder why i snapped... thatsx not like me.... i bet i scared that cop... by the look on his face i really did

she laughed hard coughed once and then watched a little..... Yu Gi Oh!...

Leigh: It still confuses me... what made me snap.... thats so unlike me.... arghhhh......so confuseing... ah i still think im right though....... i dont need anyone... well so far havent.... ill just go on that for now....... i guess

she then drifted off to sleep.... again

[color=blue] Jaimie walked to her locker at the end of the hall. She put in the combination and opened it. Inside was a small blue rose. She looked at it puzzled and thought [i] Who could have known I love oses and my favorite color is blue?[/i] It was obvious Corey didn't send it because he would have sent a note with it. She grabbed it up along with her music books and headed off to her gym class.

The day creeped on by. She wonderend what Pheonix had ment by "If you ever want to come back here,all you have to do is dream about me." and how the rose was blue. She walked around from class to class in a dazed state until it was time to go to lunch and even then she didn't do anything but think about Pheonix. [/color]

leigh got permission to go home and was home rather quickly and with a bad look on her face for the police sent one of their officers to stay with her... at all times exept at school... till her father came home

Cop: I dotn like this either but... orders are orders

Leigh: OH GO CLIMB UP A TREE

leigh sat at her computer while the cop sat in the liveing room..... patroleing around.... leigh rolled her eyes at hearing him scuffle around the hosue like it was his oun home...

she picked up the phone and diled the chief of police

Chief: What is wrong leigh

Leigh: I AM NOT MUCH COMFORTABLE WITH A GUY COP MAKEING HIMSELF HOME IN MY HOUSE

Chief: So your saying you want a female cop

Leigh: Seeing how i cant jksut be alone YES

Chife: shes on her way

[i]Ryan hitched a taxi from the hospital to his house so that he could take a shower and get some sleep, he had been excused from school by his mom. As he got out of the cab and paid the driver Ryan fumbled around in his pockets and pulled out his keys and got to the front door and opened it and clambered into the first floor bathroom and peeled off his clothes and hopped into his shower. As the warm water hit against him Ryan just sat on the little seat that was in the shower and relaxed. He couldn't believe he was seeing things. He smacked his head. Of course, he hadn't had any sleep so thats why he was seeing things. After he climbed out of the shower he locked the doors and collapsed on his couch and flipped on the tv. After watching the noontime news he fell asleep. After a few hours of sleeping Ryan was awoken by the ringing of his doorbell, he walked to the door and was surprised to see Jaimie there, she asked if she could come in. Of course Ryan let her in and they sat down in the living room and just started chatting.[/i]

[Frankie]

As soon as the female cop got there the male left..

Leigh: thanks alot.. i really wasent comfortable about that

FCop: Ah its alrighty... and cal me barb alright

Leigh: Alright Barb.. oh umm..... make yourself at home..... tv fridge.... books shower anything... ill be in my room till tomamrow..... maybe i might go for a walk later....

Barb: Ok... just be carfull if you do alright?

Leigh: I will...... wait wouldent you follow me around?

Barb: not if you dont want me too... as a matter of fact ill jsut give you this radio..i have the other one... so if you want to talk.... then.... i will come if you want help... but other then that ill stay and guard the house... you know its wierd... the chief... has never ben this baffled.... but he doesent want it to happen again normaly the case would be over the second you came home but for soem reson he wants someone here.... no telling why
