I hate this time of year. Not that I'm a Scrooge, but the other thing going on now...exams. I just finished my webmastering exam (hence the computer) and it totally blew. I got an A on it, thats all I know. My Economics exam sucked, and I have to deal with Government tomorrow. I need help BADLY.

I should be in classes right now... But thanks to some complications on the school's part as well as family problems, I was allowed to drop all my classes and retake them next quarter. Thankfully I don't have to pay extra for this quarter... Would be $4,000 that I can't spare right now heh.

So the good news is, no finals ^^... Bad news is that I get my associates next quarter instead of this one. Oh well.

I just had my mock GCSEs, which actually do count for something. They determine what level test my school gives me (higher, intermediate or foundation usually) and if I was unable to make the final exam they would taken into consideration as my final grade, since they are real GCSE past papers.

Heres a breakdown of my schedule...and what I've recently learned in the past couple of hours:

Today:
Economics (Passed! 69 on Exam, 71 for Semester)
Webmastering(85 on exam, 70-something for semester)

Tomorrow:
ROTC (c'mon, is it really possible to fail?!)
US Government (Its all good....Article I, Section 7)

Friday:
Multimedia (Make a presentation..duh.)
English (good enough average to screw up and still pass)

Plus, I have to concentrate on 2 of 6 classes next semester, English and Math. I'm taking Psychology, Honors Sociology, Multimedia and ROTC next semester, but I dont need any of those to Graduate.

Life is Good!

*Falls over laughing* Hah, not to be evil or anything...but I can't help it.

At my school, if you're not absent a certain number of days, then you get finals excemption. Mwhahah...and me, being the perfect model student (pffft, right  ) I haven't had but one day's absence.

So, when we roll around to take our tests...what...about the first week of January I believe, Monday thru Wednesday, school gets out at 1:30 for those excempt, and then I get Thursday and Friday off. Needless to say, that's a damn nice deal ;)

Oh we have that. It just doesnt occur until Second Semester. The criteria is be a senior, passing w/ and 85 for the semester, 85 for 6th six weeks and no unexcused absences. I'm trying to do that, but probably won't happen. I skip way too much to be eligible. But its a good deal, I like it. The district does that since most of the Seniors are already accepted, and attendance problems(?). I dunno. It'll happen when it does.

Thats why I like my school....The teachers post the grades by ID number so we can see how we did. Basically a "if-you-screwed-up-we-give-you-time-to-register-for-night-school" type thing. I like it, since I can start planning my break for after I get off restriction. But I musn't speak too soon, since I have 2 more "important" exams left.

This is my first time taking Mid-terms/Finals so i'm not sure what to expect. But I do know that my Science teacher is evil, she likes to tell us how hard it is and then tell us horror stories of how people went into the exam with an A and after the Exam had a C. Then there's my health teacher who makes Health way harder then it should be. Losers...

ugh, my health teacher for next semester is HORRIBLE. he's one of those type coaches/teachers that always ogles all the girls in (and out of) gym class. plus he grades things way out of proportion. you do one little thing wrong, he might as well take off an entire 20 points. and I have him for 2 periods each day aaaall next semester.....:faint:

I have finished my journalism, art of writing and drawing finals, and I will finish out the semester with world masterpieces exam on Friday.

The journalism final seemed fairly intimidating at first. It was very thick. Considering that I had neglected to study as hard as I should have, I was a little nervous. But, I attended all of the classes, save one, so I had no problem answering almost every question and writing leads and such.

Drawing was a pain. I went over my portfolio with my professor today and he thought that the female portrait that I did on Monday was my male senior citizen assignment! It wasn't a good start, lol. >_<;;

Also, my drawing of facial planes was fairly poor, because I was never interested in doing it. Perhaps some of you have had similar situations where you just didn't have the desire to do something, so it turned out terribly.

Oh well, I'm looking forward to my last exam. It should be relatively easy compared to the others. It's only five questions.

I hope your professor is short sighted, lol.

I got my lovely great big fat results the other day. I got a surprise C in maths, compared to my previous score of 0 and an E.
I've had a tutor for about 2 months and already I've gone up 2 grades, which means I'm on course for a B (maximum grade in my tier level). I recommend tutoring to anyone who has doubts about it as it works really well.

I passed ROTC, as if it were really that hard. 100 questions, fill in the blank. I hate tests like that. I feel pretty good about my Gov't exam. had an essay about the powers granted in the constitution with a 75 question exam. 4 down, English and Multimedia to go tomorrow. English sucks, but oh well. My teacher is pretty cool, he makes it interesting, or as much as it can be.
