Anime Pharoh?

I've missed a lot of episodes of Yugioh and now people are talking about that Yami Yugi was some kind of Pharaoh that banished the game or something because it was too powerful. Can someone please give me a better understanding of this "pharaoh" thing?

They all played the Shadow Games (Although not all in the Shadow Realm as Ishizu proves to us). But the games were too powerful. They corrupeted the minds of those who played the game and twistered their hearts. (A lot of this you should already know by the official storyline). So Yami sealed the games away.

But Kaiba found away to unlock the power. The games were brought back and had enough power to conquer and destroy the world.
Yami had to do something quick. He and his six priests sealed themselves along with the Shadow Power in the seven Millenium Items. Yami was in the Millenium Puzzle,
