RPG The Matrix: There is no Spoon, There is no Escape

[B]Locke:[/B] I'll never tell you, so don't bother.

[I]Delta grinned, and signalled Epsilon and Gamma to move on.[/I]

[B]Delta:[/B] Find his friends. I'll take care of him.

[I]Gamma and Epsilon nodded, and left Delta alone with Locke. They walked past him, nearly brushing shoulders. The Agents were so confident you could almost feel it radiating off them. Epsilon sneered as he glanced sideways at Locke. Locke glared back with anger. Delta cleared his throat, getting Locke's attention once more.[/I]

[B]Delta:[/B] Now.. I believe you were going to make me get out of your way?

[B]Locke:[/B] Damn right.

[I]Locke brought his sword back up, ready to swing. The Agent snickered and let out a slight chuckle.[/I]

[B]Delta:[/B] One should never bring a Sword to a Gunfight, Mister Locke.

[I]In the blink of an eye, Delta drew his Magnums and unleashed hell on his opponent.

[B]Bullet Time.[/B]

Multiple bullets flew straight and true through the air, sending off ripples as they distorted the air around them. Locke turned his sword horizontal, deflecting bullets one by one. The dead slugs bounced of the blade, while empty shells fell at the same time from Delta's Magnums. 'Impressive Speed...', Delta thought to himself. Obviously the stand and shoot method wasn't going to work.

[B]End Bullet Time.[/B]

Delta put his guns away, and sprinted at Locke. The Human didn't have time to react. The Agent's speed was phenomenal, more than any training dummy he'd ever encountered in the Construct.

Locke could do nothing but stand defenseless as Delta thrusted his shoulder hard into his chest, bowling him over and winding him. Locke flew back a good twenty feet, slamming into a solid concrete wall. He slid to the ground, gritting his teeth. He struggled to his feet, and looked harsly at Agent Delta.

Delta picked up Locke's sword, examining it. He smiled, and with one hand, hurled it at the downed Human. The tip of the blade struck the wall next to Locke, cracking the cement and lodging itself a good six inches into the wall.[/I]

[B]Delta:[/B] Stand up, Mister Locke. You might have me thinking you're a weakling. Unless, of course, you are.

[Eternal]

[i]There is no spoon[/i]

Neo flew past an endless stream of bodies and buildings, knowing that none of it actually exists. He began seeing endless flowings of the same quantum miasmic green code.

"A disturbance...," Neo whispered to himself.
Suddenly, after a long distance of flying, Neo dropped himself back to the ground. However, the ground didn't respond as it should...It become jelly-like, and Neo just bounced right off of it as he hit the ground and landed.
As he walked past the people, none actually took notice of him. He was only about 4 blocks away from the building now, and he knew some agents would be fast on his tail.

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Locke cleared his mind as he leaped back onto his feet, kicking the sword from the wall to his fist and bringing the hilt into Delta's temple before the Agent could react.[/i]

[b]Locke:[/b]First off, get Eliot Ness quotes RIGHT! It's "just like a wop, bringin' a knife to a gunfight" ya moron!

[i]Delta stood, removing his now broken shades and looking extremely pissed.[/i]

[b]Locke:[/b]Second, quit the Johnny Cage ********! Your shades SUCK, so you oughta thank me for trashing them!

[i]Locke entered a flurry of attacks, extending and shortening the sword with his bending of "reality" as he wished, cutting into the Agent's "skin".[/color][/i]

[Corey]

The wrong location... Why did I always have the wrong location? I saw it... I shook my head and pressed a finger to my ear and smiled. Delta was wearing down one of the new ones. Funny. The newer models couldn't be hurt so easily. I phased out of my body and enetered a new one. I re-entered an old host and looked around. I could easily pick out people that would awaken. Their code was odd. The man on my right, he was a computer salesman. One day he would accidently hack the Matrix and wake himself up. Funny stuff. He would be delt with. I put a marker on his code and walked over to the Metacortex. Now I was sure of it. I jumped and perched myself on the roof, scanning the ground for agents.

[b]Dissphoria-[/b] "Gamma... The M.C. They are coming fast..."

[Raquel]

Siren sprinted across the buildings, easily leaping the fifty-foot gaps... She paused as she reached the Metacortex building...

Siren: ... Sh!t...

She backed up, scanning the windows of the building... Thirty-seven from the top... She moved right... Sixteen from the left corner... Empty room... She smirked and began to run... She launched herself from the edge of the building, sending her cannoning into and through the window... She rolled to her feet, then calmly walked out the door... Following the hallways she was told would be empty she moved into the elevator shaft... She hooked one arm and one leg around the cables then slid down, stopping every other floor to place an explosive... She finally ran out and found her feet planted firmly on the elevator... It jolted into motion...

Siren: ... Mega ****...

She looked up and a stream of profanities poured from her mouth... She stopped once she started to repeat herself... The end of the shaft rushed down at her... She commed Neo...

Siren: I'm done... Possibly in two ways... Bombs secure in the elevator shaft... Later...

She flattened herself against the top of the elevator and prepared for impact and death... Suddenly she remembered the emergency hatch... It meant dropping in on whoever was inside, but it beat the hell outta dying...

Siren: Here goes nothing...

She ripped it open and dropped in just as the elevator reached the top floor... The doors dinged open... Siren turned around to face the person standing next to her...

Siren: Not?. Good?

She sprinted out the open doors and onto the roof? She ran to the edge and looked down? She turned around and watched the entrance to the elevator? If that was an Agent?. They wouldn?t long in coming after her?

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Delta recovered quickly, pounding Locke so hard in the chest, he flew eight blocks backwards back towards the Metacortex building. Locke stood, sheathing his sword and wiping the blood from his mouth.[/i]

[b]Locke:[/b]Those who fight and run away will live to fight another day!

[i]Locke turned on his heel and ran as fast as he could, using his bent-reality rules to move faster than the Agent wold be. Delta held back.[/i]

[b]Delta:[/b]Hmm, yes. We will fight again. And I will destroy you.

[i]Locke ran back into the Metacortex building, rushing into the elevator and heading to the roof. Someone else was inside with him, and he swore silently. Agent fodder. He leapt up, hit the emergency hatch, and rushed out, opening to doors to the floor two stories down from the roof. He thought he'd seen Siren at the top of the shaft, but he didn't have time to stick around. He'd seen Gamma and Epsilon behind him as he ran. He climbed the stairs, up to the roof, and sat on a ledge, drawing his sword and SigSauer at the elevator door only to see.....Siren.[/i]

[b]Locke:[/b]I thought I saw you in the shaft.

[b]Siren:[/b]What's making you so nervous?

[b]Locke:[/b]Two agents on me, maybe three. I have a way down, but you might not like it.

[b]Siren:[/b]Anyway but sticking around to die.

[b]Locke:[/b]Good. Well, you'll have to hold on tight, and try not to get sick.

[i]Siren did as she was told, looking at his face, noticing no lewd pleasure or anything. He drew up his sword, rushed over the edge of the building, and plunged his sword into the side, bending the rules again for his blade to drag through, all the way to the bottom. Four exhilirating minutes later, Locke set Siren on the ground and pulled his weapon from the building. Luckily, the side he'd chosen was the side leading to a dark alleyway. Nobody had seen them. He pulled out his cell phone and called Neo.[/i]

[b]Neo:[/b]Yes?

[b]Locke:[/b]Locke here. We have a new type of Agent, possibly three. NEw agent seems to lack the body change, but has increased strength and speed. My mouth is still bleeding from our encounter. I'm getting an exit for me and Siren from Cat now.

[b]Neo:[/b]Gotcha.

[i]He then phoned Caterpillar as Siren sat on top of a trash can.[/i]

[b]Cat:[/b]Way ahead of you, mano. The window next to Siren is open, right? Just inside is a phone. Tell Siren.

[b]Locke:[/b]Gotcha. Hey, Siren! Exit right next to you.

[i]The phone rang, Siren picked up, and disappeared. lcoke thought to himself why nobody was home as he set the phone back. It rang, he picked up, turning just in time to see Delta aiming a punch that hit brick wall. Locke was out.[/color][/i]

[Progressive]

[i] Agent Gamma came running up to Agent Delta's side just missing what had happened...[/i]

[b]Agent Gamma:[/b] Did you get him?

[i] She said looking at the wall and putting two and two together.[/i]

[b]Agent Gamma:[/b] Never mind, there is always next time...

[i]Agent Delta shot away and Agent Gamma transfered into a body near their base and meet with Dissphoria.[/i]

[b]Agent Gamma:[/b] I think you might come in handy for a plan that I have been pondering.

[b]Agent Dissphoria:[/b] Yes? What is it...

Trio fazed in to the matr|x. Neo was going on about some building and bombing it. Trio walked away leaving them to their thing. After the group split up trio started to glide along scaring the few people that payed any attention to others shoes.

Gunfire, Trio started to fly now, for some reason unable to see the code of the area where the gun fire was coming from. About a second later the air around him froze, and shattered.

Trio: HOLY SHHH!!!!TTTTT!!!!!

He screamed as he started to fall the few hundred meters to the ground. Landing with a massive smash on some trash cans in some old dark alleyway, feeling like he had broken all his bones he tried to stand up, finding that he had in fact broken all his bones.

Trio: Damn, Damn, Damn it...
Agent Delta: Yes, Damn it indeed.

Trio trying to edit any code he could find failed until he found his colour, he turned invisible.

Agent Delta: I'll [i]see[/i] you again, right now I have bigger fish to fry.
Delta left.

Trio got up and stumbled around until he found his cell phone, hit the redial.

Trio: Hello operator, get me the hell out of here!

Cat: Where the hell did you end up, you disappeared from the code?
Trio: I'm not sure, I can?t edit any thing.
Cat: K got you an exit.

Trio limped and bleed his way to the nearest hardline and got out. Muttering ?I?ve got to pay more attention to what you guys are doing?? then falling unconscious on the ships floor in a pool of his own blood.

[b]Dissphoria-[/b] "What do you want?" The new agents were far to arrogant for their own good. They had no respect for the experiance with the code that I had. They had no respect for my abilities. I sighed inwardly and looked Gamma in the eyes. "Well?"

[Eternal]

Neo had set the last bomb into place. The timer was to go off in about 40 seconds, disclosed locations for all.
Neo superhumanly runs towards the exit and makes sure everybody is there....

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Locke woke up in his chair, having fallen asleep upon arrival in the real world from extreme exhaustion. He struggled out of his chair after Cat pulled his plug from the unit, falling to his knees and hacking blood onto the floor. The fight with Delta had been worse than he'd thought.[/i]

[b]Locke:[/b]****. Sunuvabitch hurts worse than grandma's soup.

[b]Siren:[/b]You ok?

[i]Locke stood, shaking, and grabbed a tankard of Tank's famoud pep brew, good for degreasing engines and picking a person right up. Locke wiped the stream of blood from his mouth, drained the tankard, and coughed rapidly, hacking more blood to the floor. Cat jumped up, pushing Locke onto a chari and reclined him, gave him a flask of medicinal herbal tea, and sat back to heed Neo's call for an exit when it came as Siren put a wet rag onto Locke's forehead.[/i]

[b]Locke:[/b]Heh. Well, I guess my luck was kinda dry on this one.

[b]Siren:[/b]Why'd you have to be so damned brave and fight? Why couldn't you run away?

[b]Locke:[/b]Treasure hunter's pride. I couldn't bear to be a coward until I knew he was my match.

[b]Siren:[/b]You're a fool.

[b]Locke:[/b]And only fools fall in love. Ah, well, I guess there should be a first time for everything.

[b]Siren:[/b]What do you mean?

[b]Locke:[/b]First time anything's been stolen from me.

[i]Siren dabbed the rag across Locke's forehead as Neo and the others called for an exit.[/i]

[b]Siren:[/b]Your pride?

[b]Locke:[/b]No. My...never mind. It's not important. Like me. Completely unimportant...

[i]A single tear fell from his eye as he turned his head to face away from Siren. Locke reached up to his neck and gripped the only thing he owned alone, a necklace he'd made on his own a while back in the real world, from one of the last remaining sappphires in the world. It was a sapphire heart, etched with an "S"...[/i][/color]

Locke:...unimportant...

Trio came to, words echoing in his head and people moving in blurs around the area. Realising he was still in a pool of his own blood he got up and walked over to where Locke and Cat where standing hoping to borrow some type of cloth or some thing to clean himself up only to fall again unconscious on the floor right next to them.

(OOC: Hello... SOME ONE INCLUDE ME IN THE STORY...)

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Locke, against his own better judgment, jumped from his laying position and almost buckled to the floor. He set his knees as Siren's back was turned, lifted the unconscious and bleeding Trio from the ground, and carried him to his bunk, cleaning the blood from his wounds, face, and clothes.[/i]

[b]Locke:[/b]Come on, kiddo. People like us're gonna save the world. Can't die now.

[i]He turned and walked from the room, stopping to hack blood over a rail. He fell and knocked himself out on the self same rail. The last thing he saw was the upper deck falling up from him as he fell into the cargo bay, landing near the remodeled F-16. His side split open on a tool chest. Trio had managed to awaken, saw his fall and weakly rang a bell, alerting Siren and Cat of an emergency in the cargo bay before sliding into the blissful ignorance of a pain-induced concussionary sleep...[/color][/i]

[Raquel]

Siren sprinted into the cargo bay, sliding to a halt and droping to her knees beside Locke...

Siren: You really screwed yourself up this time... A knack for getting into trouble...

She checked the wound and directed the nervous Cat to clear the table then find some clean rags... Siren bent and lifted Locke gently to the now clear surface of the table... She removed the tattered remains of his shirt and held it aginst the wound to staunch the blood... It quickly soaks through and Siren curses...

Siren: [I]At the rate this is going... Locke will die... I can't prevent it without proper equipment... I hope Cat comes soon[/I]

She brushed a strand of hair from his pale face and wiped a speck of blood from his cheek... She checked the wound and was supprised to see the blood beggining to clot... Cat entered the room, clean rags clentched in his fist... She swapped the bloody one for a clean one and spoke to cat as she aplied pressure...

Siren: What is Locke's blood type?

Cat: B I belive...

Siren nodded absently

Siren: On my bed there should be a bag... Will you get it for me?

Cat turned and raced back upstairs

[Eternal]

Neo walked up to the injured one.

"Agent...Why didn't you call me Locke?"
Neo knew it was time to tell him.
"I guess you realize that was just a warmup for my [i]special recruits[/i]. I'm going to be honest with you; everybody in this ship has hte potential to become like me. What you've demonstrated today is that you aren't ready for that yet. You haven't actually mastered your true capacity. When you get fixed up, come with me into the contstruct"

Neo walks away into his quarters. He eats another grueling bowl of slop and begins to meditate in silence.

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Locke awakened, Siren injecting her own blood into him. Too weak to move, he silently tried to refuse her, but she took no notice. When his blood was restored nearly to normal level, he felt his strength restore to enough to stand and walk. The wounds on his body, bandaged and treated, refused to bleed anymore. Siren removed the needle and sat down on the table nearby as Locke stood, nodding a brief thank you to her. He bent, on a whim, and kissed her cheek. He then strode off and sat in one of the chairs that connected to the cyberworld. He was attached and brought into the Construct.[/i][/color]

[Eternal]

"You're here. I want to see what you are capable of"

Suddenly the white room became a classic dojo. Their clothing had changed into Gi's and a sparring match was about to go on.

"Let's do this."

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Locke moved, feeling a bit of deja vu (NOT connected to a change in the system), though he knew not way. He and Neo traded punches and kicks for ten seconds before Neo backed away slightly, smiling.[/i]

[b]Neo:[/b]Come on, stop trying to hit me and hit me!

[i]Suddenly, locke remembered as he felt his body surge with strength and power. He rushed forward in an attack, though Neo slammed him back and jumped in the air, about to bring his knee down onto Locke's body. Locke rolled over and ran to the wall, climbing it and spinning landing behind Neo, who had turned around during the flight. Locke, however, was ready for what was going to come next. As Neo brought his foot up to kick him as Morpheus had done, Locke dodged and grabbed Neo's leg, swinging him around and slamming him into a wall.[/i][/color]

[spoiler][color=#00ff00]Trio looked up, he didn't know how long he'd been asleep but he felt like sh¡t so he rolled over to try to get back to sleep, bad idea. He yelped out in pain.

Cat: Any you interested in watching a fight, main deck now.
[[i]Cats voice came over the pa[/i]]

Trio got up and limped to the main deck and walked up to the screens, thinking that he should go over the matrix logs and see why he lost control and got hurt so bad.

Trio: Mind if I go in and watch, wont have the pain there...
Cat: Yeah. *[i]Loads some seating in the construct.[/i]*

Trio faded in to the construct only to see Neo bounce off a wall and come flying straight for him...[/color][/spoiler]

[Eternal]

"Not too shabby. I see you've learned from my mistakes...," Neo said, grinning.

"You're beginning to surpass your limits. But that doesn't mean you're special just yet," said Neo.

Neo recovered, looking back at the crumbled wall. He turned back to Locke, and got back into a Jeet Kune Do stance.

"Again!"

Neo came at Locke with a barrage of lighting fast kicks. Two of them were blocked on both sides of Locke's body, but the last landed in his gut, sending back a few feet. He stood there, holding his front.
Locke jumped forward, moving towards Neo in the air, while sending 3 kicks, one after another. Neo jumped backwards, in the same direction, blocking each with the stroke of his hands. As Neo landed on the ground, a split second before Locke, he tampered with his new super speed and appeared behind Locke, in stance, with a fist right to his head.

"Now what?"

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Locke fell forward slightly, bringing his feet up into Neo's jaw and flipping into a standing position.[/i]

[b]Neo:[/b]Excellent. You've managed not to fall. Still nothing special. Cat, load the jump program!

[i]Cat responded, loading the infamous program that nobody ever made on their first try.[/i]

[b]Neo:[/b]Free your mind, and you will be able to reach unconquerable limits. Free your mind.

[i]Neo ran and jumped across the expanse between the two buildings. Locke stood nervously, calming himself and setting his mind free. He exhaled and ran to the end of the building. He jumped........and made it.[/i]

[b]Cat, Neo, and Trio:[/b]Holy ****....

[b]Neo:[/b]Nobody's ever made it on the first try....

[b]Cat:[/b]I think we have a winner...

[b]Trio:[/b]I think I lost my popcorn....

[i]Trio turned back to see that Locke had jumped, forgetting her lost bag of popcorn. The jaws of the people who had been watching dropped to match the expanse between the buildings....[/i][/color]

Hmm what the heck Trio thought to [i][b]himself[/b][/i] and jumped, he changed the code to let him coast along nicely.
Smack! Right in to an invisible wall. Thinking fast Trio pulled up and pushed off the wall flying straight for the building. Changing the buildings height by a few centimetres slammed down hard on the concrete, just making it.

Trio: Cat what the HELL was that!
*[i]He got up to see Neo and Locke looking at him.[/i]
Trio: Did I make it?
Locke: You cheated...
Trio: I couldn't there was a wall, I really did jump it, besides there?s no rule saying you cant do it the only rule is you have to do it any way you can. I can change the code so neh-neh...

Siren laughed from where she was standing behind Cat... He turned and raised an eyebrow...

Cat: You know somthing we don't?

Sirens laughter faded and she shook her head...

Siren: No...

Cat: Your lying to me... But I won't press you...

Siren shook her head again and took a close look at the screen...

Siren: Will you load me?

Cat: Sure...

Siren entered the program and stood on the far building... Neo nodded and she cracked her neck and sprinted towards the edge... She battled insucurity and fear, before throwing herself from the edge... Just as it looked like she would make it, the gap yawned wider, and she fell... The pavement rushed closer and closer... When it was a hands length from her face everthing stopped... Almost as if "reality" was on pause... She was so supprised, fear rushed into her mind and she hit the pavement...

Siren: ****... There is nothing to fear but fear itself... Stupid girl...

She pushed herself up and rocked on her heels...

Siren: Cat... Will you move me to the other side?

She dissolved and found herself standing beside Trio and Locke...

Siren: Don't say a thing...

[Eternal]

"Cheating is something we need. Cheating is always an advantage."
Neo looked over at the recruits.
"Hope you're all ok."

Neo signaled Cat to load another program.
"Have I told you why I have brought you here?"
Neo began to float in front of the crew, in a meditating position.
"Have you any reason to fear the Matrix?"
Neo picked up his pace and began to zoom straight up.
A voice echoied eerily, "Your limits can be surpassed..."
The white walls began to change into green code.
Then in a blink, each of them was locked in their own trap.

"You can move beyond this. Now do it!"
One had multipled agents, another closing stone walls.
Neo hovered above, a stern look on his face.

He thought to himself,
[i]If only they realized how important this is...They have the potential.[/i]

[spoiler][color=#00ff00]The white walls started to change into familiar green code, slowly at first. Trio could read from the code what was about to happen. Then he blinked, he was in a stone room. A small one. Some thing was wrong, it was closing in slowly.
Then the echoed call...
Neo: You can move beyond this. Now do it!
Trio looked oddly at the stonewalls. He could see the code just under them streaming past. It was just moving to fast to read or edit. That was impossible. Trio sat down and started to think, "How could the code be moving that fast, it's so fast it'd even crash the matr|x fort a short time..."
He felt a small bump from behind him, it was the back wall. The walls where speeding up in their closing.
"The code isn't real!" Trio shouting, no one hearing of course.
He stared to look for any thing, the code he was seeing was only fake, a picture that was being held in front of him.
The walls where moving a lot faster now.
The bottom, nothing. The sides, nothing. The roof, yes!
There was a small square of normal speed code, Trio changed its value so it was thin enough for him to break through.
He jumped with excessive power, the kind of jump you see when some one jumps between building. As he jumped out of the room the solid stonewalls crashed together under him.
He fell back on to the invisible white wall of the construct. Looking up he could see neo staring back at him.
