Y'know why are you called what you are called, is there some kinda joke in your name? I do mean your screen name by the way. Hmm, I don't know about this; we've had a topic before about where our real names came from, but meh, I guess this is alright.

My name, which is S-Y-K-3 is pronounced syke. Like, "oh yeah, I saw that episode. ::cough:: Syke..." (give me a break here --;)

But for some reason, people continually call me Sky 3. o_O

My name is Dragonstar, you see, I came up with this character called Blue Tajiri, (more on her later) she has this sword, the sword is called Dragonstar, So, now ya know.... (you probably didn't wan't to but...) *Blows rasberry*

I'll try and put up a pic I have. I'm very proud of this particular artwork although the proportions are are all screwy, as is my spelling, once again. Ah I'm chatin on now so I'll just post this before I digress completely.:D

A few years back, my friend and I were figuring out how IRC and Microsoft Chat work. He picked the username Mathman; I picked Mathguy2. (We were two of the four 6th-graders in Algebra that year.) More recently, when I got a Yahoo! account, I picked a variation of my real name Geoffrey: Geoffreyerffoeg (the name+backwards). I have been using both names on various online services.
In fact, thinking about it, I was at a graphing calculator bulletin-board with the name MathGuy2 (math - calculators), and when I came to this message board I used that name.

[Darkmoon]

My screen name just popped into my head while thinking about what I should call myself on these boards. I like the way "Darkmoon" sounds and I couldn't remember were I got it. A while later I found out that it was the name of a knight's loyal horse... I wasn't very happy that it was a horse and not the knight itself. I wanted to change my nick but decided to keep it the way it was cause I had already passed 100 posts at that time and didn't want to lose all that and it just seemed like a wast of time to re-introduce myself.

Other than the disliked (to me)history of "Darkmoon" I like the way it sounds. I've alway's liked dark things... They alway's facinated me.

Endymion is the name of one of the most handsome men in Greek mythology. He ranks in 3rd place, just behind Narcisis and Adonis. He married the moon goddess known as Selene and the two of them had a few dozen chilren together.

Endymion, being mortal, decided to rest in an eternal sleep so that he could never grow any older or die. Selene promised to watch over his sleeping body for all eternity.

I though Endymion would be a good name and I don't mind being called Endy.

Well, I dont always use Kenji, sometimes I use spastic.

The story behind Kenji.

Well, I was looking through some bishonen (yes yes, loser old me) and found this really cool looking guy, so I did the little quiz thing, and it turned out to be snap from pokemon, they'd screwed up the names or something. SO ever since then I use Kenji in random places.

Sometimes I use Kenji Kamuro.
Kenji for the reason above, and kamuro is the last name of a really cool manga character.

Spastic just sounded cool at the time.

I also use [-Delayed.Reaction-] in some places, because my friend was sleeping at my house, and he hit me on the head, a few minutes later I said "ow" and he laughed and said something about delayed reaction, and I said, Hey that'd be a cool screen name, and my friend suggested the [- . -] part.

Heh, this will be the third time I've answered a topic like this. O.o;;

This name was originally just my screen name. When I first joined Otakuboards toward the end of version one, I had an entirely different moniker for the forums.

After the upgrade to version 3, my old name would no longer fit, it had too many characters. Initially, I couldn't decide what name to go under. Then it dawned on me to just use my screen name. The answer was right under my nose the entire time. If anything, the name describes me pretty well, and looks good while doing it. As opposed to my previous title, "Crazy White Boy" is sleek, streamlined, sexy and stylish.

Heh, even so, I was a pioneer of original names back when nearly everyone was an anime or video game character.

Well, I have had four names on these boards, but 2 of them were on V2 and were just DBZ characters. Anyway. . .

When I came back in V4 (or was it the end of 3??), I signed up under Chibi-Trunks (My V2 handle), but screwed up the account and signed up again under the name of Aries. Now, you may confuse this with Aerith from FF7, but don't be confused, I am a male.

Aries was just a name that I remembered, but I couldn't figure out where I remembered it from. Well, I thought it sounded sort of cool, so I used it as my handle. Later, I learned it was an astrological figure (you know, the horoscope thing you always see in the newspaper. . .if you read it. . .which I don't), and thought, ah well, it's still cool.

Later, everyone kept confusing it for Aerith (or Aeris, whichever you prefer), and assumed I was a girl [size=1](damn my sensitivity, although I don't show it often here)[/size], so when James announced the name changes, I jumped on the opportunity.

Now Kinetic is something I heard on the internet, and I named my website(s) after it (Kinetix), later, this year, I took Physics class and learned that Kinetic Energy is energy dealing with movement. The faster an object moves, the more Kinetic Energy it has. Well, it still sounds cool, so I used it.

Now, this has been a very long and useless post, and I should save it, in case any more of these topics come up :p
