conpiracymonki
A young man washes his face in a river shining in the moonlit night. He steps into and disturbs the clear flowing waters, untying his hair. He glances at the moon, and lets himself, for a minute or two, to forget everything. The piercing silence of the forest convinces the man that he is safe for the moment, and he closes his eyes, and allows himself a content smile upon his face. Eyes, that open to the sound of a distressed howl, and a smile that is wiped away by the sound of shouts, gunshots, and the whirr of helicopters. 'That fast..' As he begins his sprint into the dark thick of the forest, his limbs seem to lose their firm shape, and he disappears... :)
Raiha
Lethe: ....leave me alone. The werewolf barked and snapped at her, then rage took her over. She rolled her body to one side and he completely missed. Lethe grinned, eyes sparkling with rage, and she grew the metal over her body one more. With a swift backwards leap, she glanced it across the face, then sliced with both elongated talons. The head of the loup garou hit the ground, bleeding like a gyser. Lethe stood up, body returning to her normal naked humanoid form. Lethe: ....idiot. Moving like a panther, she climbed the nearby tree and crawled out onto a thick limb. She stretched out like a cat, belly pressing down, and put her arms in front of her body. She rested her eyes between her palms, and purred.
Corey
The water was so comforting. It flowed, without a second thought, around anything and everything. How calming. I slowly layed down into the stream, feeling the brisk water run across my human body. Although calming, my other form was not equipped with the many sences humans posess. It has but scent, hearing, and sight. Humans have touch. The most calming of all the sences. The flowing of water is especially calming. So calming... Ryan- "So calming..." I began to change. Slowly my head extended into the water. My arms lengthened. My skin grew smooth and black. My thumb melted into my hand as I felt metalic bones assert themselfves into my fingers and toes. The skin of my toes melted away, leaving the metal talons. My mouth changed, growing larger. Millions of microscopic teeth grew from my bones. My tounge became think and rough. Finnaly, my eyes grew large and multi-pupiled. I did an inward sigh as the feeling of the cold water melted away. To be utterly calm was to bring on my Shift. I could not have both serenity and feeling. I stood from the water and sighed, once again, as my talons scratched across the smooth bottom of the stream. I was disturbing the current. I should allow it to be on it's way and not have worry about me. I stepped out and into the moonlight. It shone off my slick body and gave me a slight glow. I walked, nimbly, into the forest and scraped some bark off of a tree. There was one thing god about not having the sence of taste. It didn't matter what your food tasted like. The bark of this specific tree was actually quite nutritious. I wouldn't need to eat anything for quite a long time. Far away bright lights shone through the trees. I looked toward them and sighed. It was the humans once again trying to capture one of us. I growled low, and began sprinting towards the helicopters. Gunshots rang out and I quickened my pace. conpiracymonki
The wolf came to a halt, panting furiously. It looked back sharply, and not sensing any movements or noises, calmed down. It gave its head a quick and rough shake, and almost immediately dried its coarse silver coat. It cautiously walked on. And as it walked under a bald spot in the forest, the wolf eyed the fading silhouette of the helicopter against the bright light of the moon...
Raiha
She smelled the air around her and looked down over her left shoulder. A male wolf, with a magnificent form, was standing in the clearing, staring up at the helicopter. Lethe smiled. Humans didn't bother her, she was too normal looking for that. Not to mention her ability to charm males. But enough of that, she returned her attention to the hapless beast beneath her. He wasn't normal. She could tell right off. His scent was all wrong. He looked up, ears flicking. A half naked female was reclining beneath the thick branches, waving down at him. Lethe: Hello. He looked at her like she was insane, and tried to stop from staring.
tursi
Santina ran through the forest with some food in her mouth coming from a near by villiage. Villager: isn't someone going to stop her! She was being chased and jumped up into a tree gracefully, Which eluded her followers. she smiled in content. She walked among the tree branches, that led her back to her little hut.She stopped when she heard some voices. Female: hello! She shifted into her leapord form and continued silently. she saw a girl in a tree looking at a wolf. She smiled understanding the situation and started to continue when she fell, it was odd, she rarely fell. and as she fell she reverted to human form. Santina: now how did that happen? Santina stood up to see the wolf looking at her. She just smiled and dusted off her pants. Santina: i'm not one to be unfriendly with mr.....um...wolf...Just passing through. She transformed back into the black leapord, with out thinking, and started to head throught the clearing and to her hut.
Juu
Laitina appeared onto the ground with a loud 'thud' as a cloud of dust surrounded her. She grit her teeth in pain as she grasped her arm to ease the pain. "You will not get the star!" She exclaimed, edging back towards the stone wall. She gripped the smooth edge of the stone and pulled herself up against it. "Not as long as I draw breath." She pushed her wrists forward, sending a blue flash of light towards a larger figure. The figure swished its staff, sending the orb back outside the spring's range. He chuckled, hissing under every breath. "The star belongs to me." He hissed, his sharp tounge curving at his teeth. "The star belongs to the forest!" Laitina exclaimed, pulling against the stone. Asta' mnem' ata... asta' menm... She began to whisper a spell as her eyes pierced through his. Her eyes began to glow as an aura of light began to glow beneath her...
conpiracymonki
I'd rather not have my character staring >_< --------------------- The wolf had more important things to do than stare at a naked Shifter atop a tree, or one being chased for food. It trotted on, at a slow and relaxed pace to its hideout: a crack between two large rocks, that led to a candle-lit private safehouse. A place of thought and meditation. A place where he could surely be safe..
Raiha
She chuckled and grew partial clothing around her most important areas, then quietly twisted her way through the trees, following the wolf, digging into the bark for traction. He looked up at her. This time, she had a short skirt wrapped around her waist and another peice of cloth around her chest. She smiled down at him and waved once more. He woofed softly and continued through the forest. She grew her metal staff and quietly vaulted ahead of him until she was on the ground, running right ahead of him. He snarled and pushed ahead of her, and continued loping. She vaulted once more and they quickly cleared the forest floor and came into a small grove, covered with moss, a small pool in the center, fed by a low waterfall. She looked back at him, then melted away into the water with a single splash.
tursi
Santina arrived at her hut, she reverted to being human and walked inside. She placed the food on the table and walked over to the window. her hut overlooked a waterfall that came into the animals watering pond. she smiled at her success. Santina: those towns people will never be able to catch me, especially if they think of me as loki. She heard a knock on the door and walked over and opened it. SHe saw a mother and a kid. Santina: hello Sam. Did you come for more medicine for the little ones. Sam: yes santina. Santina: i already have it made. She went over to her shelf and pulled out a leaf shaped bottle. she handded it to the little girl. Santina: you can keep the bottle this time little one. (to sam) there will be no charge, bringing you children has given me great joy. Sam: but i must be able to repay you. Santina: well, if you really wanted to help me, can you bring me some bread or foodnext time. Sam: having troubles again? Santina: i guess you can look at it that way, or you can look at it in the way that i really like your cooking. Sam smiled and led the children back up on the cart they had taken here, and they left.
