G/S/B Master Posted January 5, 2003 Share Posted January 5, 2003 [i] The day in Balamb Garden changed dramaticly after Cid's and Squall's announcement on the war with Galabadia Garden.SeeD mercenaries were nervous.As for the special SeeD soldiers,they have to immediatly go to the Headmaster's office after the Announcement for a meeting.[/i] John: We're starting another war with Galabadia Garden.....It's deja vu all over again.Good thing that the instructors the SeeDs about that war,or else the whole Garden will think that this is the first time that happened. Xion: Hey,wait for me.... [i] John looked behind him and saw his friend Xion.[/i] Xion: Slow down a bit.....you're going way too fast. John: Sorry.......*mumbles* GF-less person *mumble* Xion: HEY! Soon I'll get the legendary king of GFs,Bahumut. John: And I'll make sure you'll get it.....Besides you're a experienced SeeD mercenary. Xion: Because I'm a SeeD level higher than you? John: Grrrrr.... [i] The elevator door opened. Xion and John gets in the elevator leading to the Headmaster's office.The elevator door closed and the 2 waited.[/i] Xion: Just 6 more people to show up at the office. He had been in the training center and realized what time it was just as he had finished hacking up a few monsters. He ran down the corridoor to the elevator with his necklace thunking against his chest, it was a design of a dragon. As he entered the elevator he made sure his sword was still attached to his back. Once he had gone to the training center and forgotten he had left his sword in his room. Thankfully he had his GF Leviathin at that point in time. As the bell chimed that he had reached the floor where Headmaster Cid's office was Ryan was messing with his necklace, after stepping out he was greeted by Xu and the both of them walked into the office and Ryan saw several other members that were in the same squad as him.[/i] Ryan: Hey John, Xion. What's up? John: Oh, not much. You nervous about this? Ryan: Naw. I always wondered when something like this would happen. Anyways either of you seen Instructor Irvine?? Both: Nope. Ryan: Oh, okay. He sat there waiting for the other people.He was also wondering why they selected him to go see Cid and Squall in the office to discuss the galbadia war. He thought it was because of his high SeeD level and his experience but you never know. He stood there in silence thinking of his family whom he had sent a majority of his money over the past months and the letter they wrote him telling him that they were living the good life and they expecting another child. They talked for a couple of minutes more before he really had to go to Cid's office. They said their goodbyes and Valen headed for the elevator. On his way there, he met up with Selphie. JesterSpirit Posted January 5, 2003 Share Posted January 5, 2003 Jestyr had still been working on the com system when Cid and Squall made their announcement, and he almost got fried in the process. When Cid called him to the office Jestyr was certain he was going to get yelled at. Though he wasn't so certain anymore now that there were other people here. He still couldn't believe he was part of this special seed unit. His rank hadn't even reached double digits yet. Though I guess everyone needs a good engineer. Jestyr was just wearing a pair of red jeans and a grey sweater. He was so worried about being yelled at he had forgotten to get into uniform. Jestyr had welcome the new comers and was trying to just wait for the meeting to start, but the doors were opening a little sluggishly. He gazed at the door control panel and started sweating a bit. Mumbling to himself. "Don't look at it, nothing wrong. I'm here for a meeting and nothing else...........Ahhh I can fix it." He moved over to the control panel and pulled some tools off of his belt and began playing with the electrics while a few other people came in. Xion: That means I could get Bahumut! Squall: You people willl split in a team of 4,John,Xion,Valen,and Jessica, you will go to the Deep sea research Island. Ryan,Progressive,Jet,and Jestyr, you will go to Cactuar Island. I will pilot the Ragonarok and take you to your location.... After your mission,you will regroup and I will take you to the Centra Ruins to get Gilgamesh and the Tonberry King. Beware,these GFs aren't easy to get.....Gilgamesh is hardest to get because he can kill you so fast that you can't dodge his fast cutting slash from his deadly Zantetsuken. I will meet you guys at the Gate...get ready and prepared. Those little green things if I remember right....wait just a minute! Don't they shoot lots of needles at anything that comes near them! I don't wanna go there. "Squall I object!" Suddenly stopping and looking around. Apparently he had walked farther then he had thought and he was in a side tunnel far away from the meeting room and everyone else. Several students had stopped and were looking at him funny. "Ummmmmmm, I really like balamb hehe." Running away with a nervous he darted to his room to pick up some things. "Well if i'm going to a desert full of living cacti I have just the inventions I need." He threw a bunch of odd looking things in a duffle bag and threw it over his shoulder then charged out of the door heading for the main gate. He stopped about halfway there and suddenly turned around running back to his room. Slipping out of his clothes and into his seed uniform. "Ok now i'm ready." He junctioned 100 meltdowns to his vitalilty and 45 triples to his speed.He didn't junction his 100 Curaga spells. John gets his Gunblade and fits it through his belt he wore,and he ran out his room and goes to the gate.[/i] John: Hey Valen! Valen: Hey! [i] John stares behind Valen and didn't see Squall or the Ragonarok. [/i] John: I wonder where the headmaster is.....The ragonarok should be here..... [i] Valen looked up in the sky. [/i] Valen: Isn't that the Ragonarok? [i] Valen pointed at the little red figure in the north sky.John stared at it.The red figure became bigger and bigger.Soon the claws of the ragonarok became visible,as well as the cannons and the head.[/i] John: wow...... He walked out of his room with his sword attached to his back, his trenchcoat fluttering behind him as he ran for the gate. After running out the gate he saw the Ragonork. He ran up to Squall.[/i] Ryan: Uhhh, headmaster Squall, could i uhhh... Could i co-pilot the Ragonork. Squall: Sounds okay. Ryan: Wuhooooo!!! [i]Ryan ran up to the cockpit and strapped himself into the co-pilots chair. " Yay! this shouldn't be so bad. I have 100 Curaga spells, 60 Firaga spells, and 70 Thundaga spell. Well, i'm ready." The shadow like person starts slashing around him at some training drones and all of a sudden someone stood behind him, making him allmost cut off the guys head.[/I] "Aerow. Watch out with that thing, man! You have to report you to Seiffer!" said the man while doing a step back so he isnt so close to the sword anymore. "... ok." The shadowly man, called Aerow, turns around and walks through the door. He goes over to a door leading to a hall and thats leading to another door. He goes in it and there's Seiffer, looking through a window. "There you are." Seiffer said while still looking at the window. "yes. what was it about sir?" "We are going to prepare to launch our attack on our enemies." "What do you need me for then?" "You are one of our finest warriors. So we need you behind the enemy lines." "....ok."
