No I'm not angry i just foud out from gamespot THQ with help from new buddy developers Pacific Coast Power and Light has made a new wrestling game....but this ones a bit diffrent......how diffrent well here's the small info I found thanks to gamespot.

Car combat meets the World Wrestling Entertainment in this game.
Wrestlers get into cars and shoot each other.
It's called WWE Crush Hour!

It comes out this March for PS2 Xbox and Gamcube. 1 snapshot is all I got. If that dosen't work then you'll have to wait a bit and I'll try getting another one soon.

I think this is a really pointless game. THQ are just trying to get their money's worth of the WWE license, but hey why not I suppose.

It's all a bit of a novelty really - there is thirty superstars each with their own fantasy vehicle with their devastating arsenal of weaponary. Vehicles should be designed with each superstar's character development in mind like The Rock with a sports car, Hulk Hogan with a hot rod and RVD gets a tractor!

I've seen quite a few pictures already, but I still think it's a bit of a novelty, but I suppose enough to have a chuckle to, but if your expecting actual wrestling involved then your wrong. It's like Smackdown meets Twisted Metal Black. Maybe it's your thing, but I don't know how many options of play there is, all I know is Deathmatch and Ladder Match to find out who is the meanest driver of them all.

THQ have done the right thing. With a license like WWE under your belt, you might aswell milk it for all it's worth. This will appeal to all big wrestling fans, and it looks like it could be quite fun. It's a very basic idea, but putting WWE before it will make it more popular. You could have WWE Gardening, and people would buy it. When I was into WWE (WWF back in the day) I would buy anything to do with it.

Yeah I suppose I would use to buy anything to do with WWE hmmm may think twice about WWE gardening, but now I'm more maturer I tend to actually read the reviews and see the opinions. I still like the Smackdown series though! It does look alrite, but I would forget about it after a few days and I agree with THQ's tactics. They are very clever people brainwashing little kiddies minds.

*Off Subject* Yes I did steal a quote from there but I thought it was a true statement, but is there a law against that lol if it sounds right I do, especially when it has factual information. Most people on here probably do or they get information from sites. I hear you and Tommy Vercetti both get information from XOM so :P

yeah, I would've bought anything WWF back then, but now I don't like it anymore. Plus, have you noticed, that about 4 to 3 years ago was when it was really popular. I mean, toys were selling like crazy, the games were sold out, but now, it's not nearly as popular. I'm not saying it's not popular, but you have to admit, if THQ really wanted to make a game like this, they should've done it when WWE was at it's peak of popularity.

You're kind of missing the point. It's NOT a wrestling game. It's a racing game, using the WWE license name. Well, we will never see a Smackdown, or a Raw on the GCN. Ever since WWF Attitude, there hasn't been a multi-format WWF/WWE game. Raw belongs with X Box. Smackdown with the PS2. And the GCN pulled the short straw with Wrestlemania X-8. Ah well, Legends of Wrestling II is on the shelves, and there is probably another WWE game in the making!

Yes alexus is right when saying don't get too excited is not actually wrestling! I think Wrestlemania is just as good if not better than RAW though and there should be another Wrestlemania game coming out. I must say out of the three Smackdown is definetely the best simply because it has alot more options of things to do! If THQ was to be bought by either Sony, Ninty or Microsoft then some of those games could be on other consoles as well (very doubtful though).

Oh and by the way Legends Of Wrestling 1 and 2 is a WWE licensed game and its on all the consoles! ;)

I heard about this a long time ago--in the press release announcing SmackDown 4 and Raw 2. I hadn't heard any new information about the game for quite a while, so I thought it was canceled.

The name of this topic deceived me a little because it sounded like it was celebrating something good. As it stands, this will probably be one of the worst games ever made. It's just a cheap cash-in on the WWE brand.

No one in their right minds could take a product like this seriously....

The MSRP is only $20... So if it sucks, at least you didn't waste too much money.
You know what I could do with $20??

Man, I could buy lunch, then watch a movie and still fill up my tank of gas. That's worth more than buying a game like that.:p

I mean, I see really no point in making a game like that. That's why we have Twisted Metal for. lol.

That wasn't very necessary have you read anything on this thread, it's not even a wrestling game it just has wrestling superstars in. It's like a destruction derby type, but yes not very good! $20 is quite cheap, but in England it will be £40 which is an outrageous price to pay for this game!

Capcom Vs. Marvel 2 hmmm irrelevant. Wrestling does actually have technique in it and a few martial arts moves by the way. Lets just say I think THQ should keep to making pure wrestling games ... maybe add extra things you can win like destruction derby mode, but as for a game no thanks! :p

I can't stand wrestling, but anyone that thinks Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 takes more technique is crazy. That's a button masher if I ever saw one.
It may seem that way but Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is a lot more complex then you may think. The basic fighting isn't hard, but if you go to a few message boards, or play a few people you will realize there are many advanced moves that are hard to use.

Suki-Cancels are a good examples, it took me a good 3 weeks to learn to execute them.

But I don't like Car Combat much anyway, so I don't think I'll even gice this one a look.
