RPG Pokemon: The Legends Unite

(David arrives at New Island on Feraligatr. The island is mostly empty. The only structure is a broken-down, half collapsed building. He walks around the building like he's looking for something, then looks inside before walking over to two oter trainers)
David: Hello. I'm David.
Bremma: i'm Bremma.
Xion: I'm Xion. Do you know why we're here?
David: Because of the message, I believe. You both recieved it?
Xion: Yes.
David: Good. I sent it.
Bremma: So, what's the big deal?
David: There should be others. We need to wait for them.

[Bremma]

"Well, I hope they come soon... It looks like this hut will fall down the rest of the way any minute!" Bremma commented, stroking the feathers of her Fearow, Windplume.

"How many others do you think got this message?" Xion asked aloud, to no one in particular.

"I dont know... do you David?" Bremma said, turing her attention to him.

David: There are five others. We can probably work without them, but it would be best if they were here. But you're right about one thing. We can't wait too long. I'll explain the situation to you, and to any others when they get here.
Xion: So, what's the deal?
David: Team Rocket once used a fossilized remnant of Mew to create the pokemon Mewtwo, the stronges pokemon ever. However, Mewtwo refused to obey the Team Rocket leader, Giovanni, and escaped. After an attempt to reclaim him failed, Giovanni's memories of Mewtwo werre erased somehow. However, the records were never touched. I hacked into team rocket's computer network-I'm good with computers-and found them. I also learened that Giovanni re-learned the events, and deccided to create another one. However, he made a couple changes. First, the new Mewtwo was made even stronger, so it's around three times as strong as the first. He also infused obidiance, so the new Mewtwo is incapable of disobeying Giovanni. Needless to say, this is a problem.

[Bremma]

"Aye... that's a truth..." Bremma said. "I hope they do come, and soon. It sounds like any help is good help."

David nodded. "We'll give them a bit longer."

"Well, to keep us occupied, why dont we learn a bit about each other?" Bremma suggested. "Im from Kanto, Celadon to be precise. I Have had a few run ins withthe rockets... I just hope we don't run into any, especcaly ones that recognize me here..."

David: There's more. The first test of the new Mewtwo's abilities was to have it locate and destroy the first one. It succedded, so assistance from the first one is impossible. After a few other tests, mostly for obediance, it was placed in a special unit for further work. They're trying to make it even stronger. If it works, it will be around ten times as strong as the first one. I came up with two options.
Xion: What?
David: One option is to attack the rocket base where it is currently located and destroy it while it is out. The other is even more unlikly to succeed, but is safer by far, and is why we're here. Although this building is colapsing, the equipment inside it is quite functional. We could use it to try and do what they did.
Bremma: You mean, use the equipment here to make another Mewtwo?
David: Yes.
Bremma: That's ridiculous!
David: I know. If it fails, which it most likely will, we'll need to attack the base. The facilities here will be used to locate help for the attack. While I'm messing with the cloneing facility, you two search for signs of the Legendary Pokemon Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. I was hopeing for a legendary pokemon expert to arrive for assistance with that, but you two can start. I was also hoping for someone skilled with machines to help me with the cloning problem, but we'll just have to work around the lack untill they arrive, if they ever do.
Bremma: So, you want us to find Riakou, Entei, and Suicune so they can help us attack the base?
David: Not just them. I already have locations for the other legendary pokemon. My father, a communication researcher, developed devices for understanding pokemon. I have the prototypes. each one needs to be mached to a pokemon, and can only be used with that pokemon. Bremma, you won't need one, because you can already understand pokemon somehow. You can make sure the devices work correctly, and translate if they don't. Xion, you're here because of your victory at the Indigo Leauge. We'll need you if we have to attck the base. Okay, let's get to work. Everyone inside. (They enter the building)

OOC: i joined late. hope that won't be a problem.

as the three trainers worked hard to try and make there plan work. another trainer had been watching them from a distance. he stood 5'10" and had long blonde hair put in a pony tail. he had kahki cargo pants on, a white under shirt, and a plack over shirt. he watched in the shadows with his trusted pokemon Silver(Houndoom). he arived on the small place on his Dragonight acouple hours before the others. he decided now was the time to make his precense known. he stepped out of the shadows and let one of the three see him.

David: hey, over there you guys. i think it's another trainer>

Bremma: yah, i think your right. lets go meet him.

the group ran over to meet there new commrad. the all stopped when they saw the Houndoom standing beside him.

????: fear not, Silver only attacks when i tell him to, and he likes most people. it's nice to meet all of you.

David: yes, well it's nice to meet you as well. please tell us your name and we will tell you ours.

????: oh, sorry how rude of me. my name is Wolf Maximas, and i'm a gym leader from a small island gym. i got this letter that asked me to come here, and from your speech now know why.

David: Wolf, got it. my name is David...
Wolf stooped and shook David's hand
...this is Xion...
Wolf did the same with Xion
...and this is Bremma.
Wolf grabed Bremma's hand and kissed it. she looked shocked from the act.

Wolf: don't take that od, i am a man of chivalry and always great a lady that way.

Bremma: a trainer with manners, now theres a rarity.

David and Xion fell back and glared at Wolf. He smiled and asked what he should do to help.

David: well, with your gym knowledge your going to be helpful in making Raikou and the others help us.

Wolf: well, i don't know how useful i'll be there, but i'll give it my best shot.

David: and if we have to attack you'll be useful there to.

Wolf: now there's something i can be helpful in. well, lets get to work guys. we shure have alot of it.

with that the group began to start there tasks. still hoping for more help.

[Bremma]

Bremma followed David into the building. "Well, we should start calibrating those translators and find out what Pokemon each trainer want to communicate with.." She said.

He nodded. "Yes. We should go and ask them later." he replied as he said at a computer and started typign away.

Bremma sat on a chair in the corner. 'I' in an unknown place with three people Ibarely know and more to come and were supposed to fight a very powerful Pokemon... I just hope I didnt get myself into anythingbad...' she thought, pulling the Poekballs off her wait and looking at them. 'At the least.. it will be an interesting journey.'

David: The required infomation is all here, but the connections to the cloning equipment are dissconected. I was hopeing that someone would be here who could help, but that person hasn't arrived. I can't make any sense of this wireing. I can't proceed further. However, there is something I can do. (He works some more) Good thing I checked.
Bremma: What?
David: Team Rocket sent a force here to retrive equipment they needed. The force is arriving ahead of scedule. They'll be here shortly.
Xion: What sould we do?
David: We fight. Xion, this is your type of thing. You're the best trainer currently here. If they know this, which they might by seeing you-they might have seen pictures when you won-they'll focus on you. Can you handle it?
Xion: Yes.
David: Good.
(A girl walks in)
Xion: Who are you?
Venna: I'm Venna.
David: Good (He introduces everyone, explains the situation, and tells her what the current state of events is) Venna, you're here because of your past.
Venna: What do you mean?
David: Two team rocket members that assisted in the operation to recapture the first Mewtwo left after the base was under construction. As a result, they remembered everything, The memory loss was apparently isolated in that area. They were placed in charge of security when the nem Mewtwo was hooked up to the equipment.They were re-assigned to the mission here, and will arrive ahead of sceadule. I believe you know them. They are Butch and Cassidy.
Venna: I know them.
David: A large part of all of this will be in battle agains them or trying to prevent them from doing something. You can help us predict what they will do, which will help us stop it.

[Wolf Maximas13]

Wolf walked up to Xion and pulled out a pokeball.

Wolf: don't worry man i got your back, but from what i hear you won't need much back up.

Xion: thanks man, the help is always good. so, what pokemon you got in there?

Wolf: this? this one is my Tyranatar. i save him for speacial accasions. he does well as a partner with my Dragonight.

Xion: yeah, i'd say they would make a pretty good team. and i think we will to.

Wolf: hope so, well shale we begin heading that way?

Xion: if David thinks we should.

David: That would be fine. The rest of us will get ready here. They'll have a hard time getting in. Venna, what do you think they'll do first?
Venna: Cassedy was always very aggressive. Butch was less so, but still not very passive. They'll likely come head-on.
David: Perfect.
Bremma: What's the plan?
David: we'll set up a trap here. Hopefully, they'll walk right into it.

Xion and Wolf walk out f the building to find many members of Team Rocket.

Xion:You ready for this!!

Wolf:You know it!

With that there pokeballs flew

David: Looks like the party's started.
Bremma: What do we do?
David: Bremma, you get to the left of the entrance. Venna, you get to the right.
Venna: What about you?
David: I'm the bait. (Bremma walks to the left of the entrance, and Venna to the right. David positions himself at a computer terminal that can be clearly seen from outside, and pretends to work) Let's see here. I'll need to disconnect these, and reconnect them here... I think. If not, it's likely that all this stuff will be useless.
Venna: (Whispers) Are they really that stupid?
Bremma: (Whispers back) Most of them. The leaders aren't. The grunts will likely come running in, with or without orders to.

[Bremma]

She picks up a ball and holds it, knowing it was Sandslash. "I'll handle the frist set."
She watched and heard grunt running for the entrance. "Sandshash, go." she whisper, dropping the POkeball. Sandslash came out and looks around. "Sandslash, aim a rockslide at the Rockets."

"Sa-and" it said with a nod and digs its claws in the ground, heaving out several large rocks and chucked them at the Rockets, knocking out a few and blocking the rest. "Becareful there David!"

[Sheikahmon]

Sunny glides down, and Rei closes her Modern Encyclopedia of PokeMythology, using the mysterious note she recieved as a bookmark.
Glitter sparkles on Sunny's tail, and a stray Murkrow who checks out the sparkling gets a faceful of Powder Snow. Glitter heaves a little Smoochum sigh as the frustrated Murkrow flies off.
Psyche, dangling with her own tail wrapped around Sunny's, sends Rei a little thought of relief at having arrived at New Island.
Rei's eyes are no sharper than those of the young Espeon, but she has a higher viewpoint and can see a number of dark shapes moving around on the Island. Trainers? Others? Either way, she can tell that she and her friends are in for a fight. She checks out the Pokemon she has out, making sure they're ready for battle.
Glitter, using her own meager psy powers to read Rei's mind, taps on the NeverMelting Ice her trainer so kindly had mounted in a shiny little necklace. Psyche picks up the idea and tosses her head, making the Twisted Spoon tied around her neck flash in the sun.
Rei strokes Twilight and positions the Umbreon's favorite Dark Glasses on his face. Inside of :ball:s, Whirlpool has his hated Polka-Dot Bow, and Picky has his bag of Soft Sand. That leaves Sunny, whose Leftovers are in a bag slung across her narrow chest. Good.
Rei checks her supply of medicines next. Mostly Super Potions, with a few Antidotes and various Berries. Good. She doesn't want any of her Pokemon to get seriously hurt in a battle.
Rei: Sunny, find a landing spot as far from those trainers in black as you can manage. I don't want to have to fight.
Sunny's landing is rather clumsy-- she never could manage a good one--and soon a number of the people in black clothes show up. At this distance, Rei can see the letter R printed in bright crimson on their chests.
Rei: Team Rocket?? I thought you people disbanded a long time ago!
Rocket Grunt M(male) 1: You thought we disbanded? Hah!:laugh: Guess who's back? Back again? Rocket's back. Tell a friend! And who are you, insolent female?
Rei: (sarcastically) I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees...:rolleyes: Now, if you excuse me... *steps as if to go around the Rockets*
Rocket Grunt M 2: Us? Excuse you? *laughs* Oh, yes, and I'll go introduce myself to Officer Jenny! *gets serious and throws a :ball:* Golbat, use your Bite Attack!
Rei: *throws a :ball:* Whirlpool, I choose you! Show that Golbat your Strength! *Whirlpool growls at Rei, gets Bitten by the Golbat, and promptly takes out the Golbat using Strength*
Rocket Grunt M 1: A Gyarados, huh? Well, let me show you something! I choose my Ampharos! Ha!:devil: Ampharos, use Thunder Punch! *lightning appears around Ampharos's forepaw as it lunges and hits Whirlpool--hard. Whirlpool reels back from the blow, seriously hurt*
Rei: Whirlpool, return! Picky, go, with Magnitude! *Picky appears and uses a powerful Magnitude attack, KOing the Ampharos*
Both Rockets look at their fallen Pokemon, look at Rei, and then back at the Pokemon. Rei strikes a dangerous pose as if to usher another Pokemon into battle.
Rocket Grunt M 2: How many Pokemon you got, anyway?
Rei: Enough. *her eyes narrow menacingly*
Rocket Grunts: (nervously) Um... bye! *they both recall their Pokemon and bolt*
Rei waits until they are both gone, then calls Whirlpool out of his Pokeball again.
Rei: (in tears) Oh, Whirlpool, I'm so sorry! *takes out a Super Potion* That Ampharos... it happened so fast! There, anything else? *Whirlpool struggles to get into a proper position, but it's obvious that he can't move very easily* Whirlpool, you're paralyzed? Oh, here, have one of these. *pops a PrzcureBerry into his open mouth and waits for it to take effect* Poor Whirlpool. You were great against that mean, vicious, evil Golbat, though, weren't you? Oh, and Picky, you really know how to take on an Ampharos! *She continues to praise her Pokemon and pets, grooms, and cuddles each one, except Whirlpool and Sunny, who are both a bit too big to cuddle* I think that's enough :butthead: whipping for now, huh?
Rocket Grunt F(female) 1: That's what you think, kiddo! *jumps out of hiding place nearby* I can see all of your party, and calculate their weaknesses. You don't have a good Fire-type, and your Gyarados looks stupid with that bow on his horn(you know that little three-horned crest on a Gyarados' forehead? Guess where Rei put the Polka-dotted Bow?)! I choose you, Yanma! Ha-ha! Attack that Umbreon! Your Pokemon are wimps! And you're just a bluffing little pacifist who loves her Pokemon too much!
Rei: Twilight!
Her cry, however, does nothing to stop Yanma's attack of Twilight, and soon he lies mangled on the ground. Psyche rises to avenge her little brother...

David: My turn.
Rocket 1: Go, Arbok!

(Both pokemon emerge and prepare to attack)
David: Easy. Go, Espeon! (Espeon emerges, and faces Arbok and Venomoth) And I have the advantage.

(Outside of the building, Cassedy contacts Giovanni, and informs him of the current situation)
Giovanni: We can't let them go. They must have a reason for being there. Capture them, and bring them here. If you can't hold them, kill them.

[Vilearchangemon]

"They seem to be getting mor aggresive" Xion said to him self watching his Houndoom fight off the Rockets.

Flames shot everywhere.Houndoom was wining,and if he was beaten he has his Arcanine.

Cassidy:We can't hold out for much longer.

Grunds:Plan B ma'am

Cassidy: Yes :devil: :devil:

Xion looked at in the distance and saw fighter planes.

Xion: There tring to kill us with bombs.....

Startled he yelled back to warn the others.

Xion: (Runs over to the building) They've called in air support. We can't fight that. We need to go.
David: I'm a little busy here. Espeon, use Confusion! (Espeon's attack affects Arbok and Venomoth, sending them into the wall)
Rocket 1: What?
David: Poison types are weak against psychic types. Your pokemon don't stand a chance. Besides, I've got more if you do beat Espeon. I'd recommend running.
Rocket 2: Let's scram! (The rockets exit the building)
Xion: David, we need to go!
David: Standard procedure. Frighten the opponent. It's a trick. They don't want war. They use the air support trick to frighten the enemy. And it worked on you. get back out there.

(Cassedy radios Giovanni)
Giovanni: What is it?
Cassedy: These kids are tougher than we thought. We couldn't scare them or beat them in battle.
Giovanni: What will work?
Cassedy: backup plan Omega One appears to be the only option.
Giovanni: Omega One is reserved for emergency situations.
Cassedy: Then we will probably not be able to complete the mission.
Giovanni: Very well. This mission is extremly important. Omega One will be activated.

Thanks, I realize all you other characters are busy kicking some Rocket :butthead:, and I'm going to postpone your arrivals on my scene until I've swatted that lady Rocket's Yanma

Rei stands, feeling Psyche's rage through telepathy. That stupid Rocket female with her bug Pokemon--! An idea!
Rei nods to the Rocket.
Rei: You got me, and you got Twilight, too. I don't want any of my other Pokemon hurt by that Yanma. *as she says this, she moves closer to said insect* So TRY OUT MY PERSONAL BUGZAPPER, YOU ROCKET PUNK:butthead:!
With this war cry, Rei swings her Modern Encyclopedia of PokeMythology at the Yanma like a flyswatter, managing to knock the clear-winged Pokemon out of the air onto the ground. Now that the Yanma is in his Element, Picky is easily able to put the hurt on it.
Rei: You show some talent, but you know what a Professor would probably say was wrong with your style? You don't give a :flaming: if your Yanma gets hurt or not, that's what's wrong! *with that, the Rocket decides she's had enough, recalls her Yanma, and runs* Oh, Twilight! :bawl: I forgot to pack some Reviving Medicine! Poor thing! Oh, poor, poor Twilight...
Psyche was thinking some very major threats at those Rockets. Rei was crying over Twilight's prone form...

(After terminating communications, Giovanni turns to Professor Nanba, who is working at a computer terminal)
Giovanni: How long will it take to safely halt the procedures?
Nanba: 2 hours for re-stabilization, 45 minutes to disengage unit, and 15 minutes for extraction and orientation.
Giovanni: Begin the procedures.

(After turminating communications, Cassedy turns to the rockets in the area)
Cassedy: Withdraw into the transports and form a parimiter around the island! Nobody is allowed to arrive or depart!

Xion: Try to scare me! Ha! You'll pay!Go Tyranitar!

The large bulky pokemon appeared in a flash.

Tyranitar: Ty-ran!

Xion: Now,Hyper Beam!

Rockets: (all in area) :nervous: :nervous:

A faint white glow grew into a bright one in Tyranitar's mouth.As h roared,the beam was shot.a massive eruption of pure energy destroyed most of the surounding area and flung the Rockets into the water.

Xion: (Holding up his thumb like he was aming) Tyran,your aim was off by four centimeters,you o.k.

Tyran nodded.

Xion: Okay. Nice shot.I see you can hold more energy.Let's train for necluer force next.

xion smiled to Tyran as he nodded.

Butch: Sir,we have a problem. These trainer's seem to have increbable connections with their pokemon.

Giovanni: So,deal with it.You have some of my strogest pokemon. Use them!

Butch: Right sir!

Butch: You,kid. I challage you to a battle.

Xion: Huh? O.K. Your pokemons funeral.Go Tyran!!

Butch: Go pokeball!!

A armored,horned, standing rhino let out a roar.

Butch: Meet, Giovanni's Rydon!

OOC: They aren't fighting anymore. They are boarding their transports and suroundint the island. and if they are going to speak with Giovanni, they need to contact him.

(Team Rocket's forces withdraw into the transports, and surround the island, forming a blokade around it. David sees this, and calls everyone back inside)
Xion: What's happening?
David: I don't know. (Pause) Do you hear that?
Bremma: Yes.
David: Stay here. I'll go check it out. (He exits the building and walks around until he sees Rei crying. He walks over to her) What's wrong? (He sees Twilight) Oh. (He rummages through his backpack) I know I packed some... here we are. (He pulls out a Revive and hands it to Rei, who uses it on Twilight)
Rei: Thank you. I'm Rei.
David: I'm David. Glad you're here.
Rei: What do you mean?
David: I sent the message. (He explaines the situation and the plan) We need your help. Come on. (They enter the building. David introduces everyone)
Rei: Why did the rockets leave?
David: Let me see. (He sits down at a computer terminal. He works there for a moment) That's odd.
Bremma: What?
David: They're canceling the operation on Mewtwo. But why? (He works a little more) A password-protected file in the middle of the research files? Odd. (He clicks on it) Now for the password.
Xion: what is the password?
David: Rage. (He types it in) Ha! Nobody keeps me out! (He reads the file) Uh-oh.
Bremma: What?
David: we have three hours to get off this island. if we're still here in three hours, we're dead. We should be able to finish in two, but we leave in two and a half if we're still here, no matter what.
Xion: Why?
David: They've determined that this force can't get through us. They're trying to keep us here. In three hours, Mewtwo will be ready for an assignment, and will be sent here. We need to be gone before that, but we need a way out.

OOC: Nobody else start a plan to leave. I have more important information, and the way we will leave is important to the story's development.

[Bremma]

"Well, what do we do now?" Bremma asked, holding her Sandslash in her arms, waiting for a reply.

David: The rockets have set up an effective blockade. We won't be able to get past it.
Xion: Then how do we get out of here?
David: Their attention will be focused on the island. If an attack comes from somewhere else, they won't know until it's too late.
Xion: So, how does that help us? We can't get out.
David: We're not done here yet. We still need locations for Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. I already have locations for Lugia, Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, and Ho-oh. We'll call all of them here as planned. They'll break the barrier for us. Rei, that's your job. You've been studying legendary pokemon. Where do you think they would be?

[Sheikahmon]

Rei: *sighs* When I was little, I used to refer to those three as the "Mad Sprinters", and it was for a reason, too. Once you find one, it's gone. It would take an extremely fast Pokemon to keep track of even one. And they have incredible stamina, too. If Psyche or Glitter could actually Teleport, I'd try, but as it is, I'd need much faster Pokemon. Sunny might be able, but...

Wolf: A Scyther? How about my Scizor, Rei?
Venna: My Jolteon's fast, and judging by your Espeon and Umbreon, you're pretty good with Eevolutions.
Wolf: I have a fast Jolteon, too.
Rei: Umm...:blush:...

Rei: Watch out, he's as much a fussy eater as his name implies, and he's a severe coffee addict.
She gives Psyche and Twilight to Wolf.
Rei: Since you're loaning me two Pokemon, I guess I have to give you the siblings.
She gives Glitter to Venna.
Rei: Watch out, she likes to--! *Glitter kisses Venna*
Venna: Hey!
Rei: Um... yeah... I was going to say... She does that sometimes...:blush: Well, here we go, I guess. *takes offered Pokemon and flies off quickly on Sunny to look for the "Mad Sprinters"

Bremma looked at the Sandshrew as it bounced inher arms. "S-ShrewS-ShrewS-Shrew!" it called in quick sucession, Bremma hearing it was asking for coffee.

She patted it on the head. "I think youve got enough energy for now, little buddy."

It pouted, then grabbed its thermos and started drinking, Bremma sniffed as it was drinking. "What the- This things eqipped with espresso!" she put her hand on her head. "I hope this thing will sleep.." she looked at him. "You might want to save that. I dont have any coffee for you."
