[Yu Yu Hakusho!]

Here we go Deedlit! (And Valen, and everyone else!)

Another boring day at Sarayashiki Middle School.......0_o
Well....let's see what our main man is up to.
Getting up......

Yusuke: *Yawn*

He looks at his clock on his windowsill and yawns again, scratching his head.

Yusuke: 7:00.....looks like I'll be late.

Atsuko: Yusuke! Are you up yet?????

Yusuke: Yeah, Ma. I'm up.

Atsuko: Hurry your *** up or else you'll be late!

He frowned at his mother who was in the kitchen making some green tea. She was watching the local news too.

News: And on other news.....a local gang was spotted selling some toxic substances to children. No deaths have been reported. Our local mothers have started a mob looking for this gang and we just got word that they have found one of the boys in this gang. The substance they were selling has not yet been confirmed, but doctors suspect it may be a virus that they were trying to start.

Yusuke: Blah blah...is that all she listens to?

He got up out of bed and started putting on his green school uniform. It wasn't really the REAL school uniform, but he wore it because he knew it pissed the teachers off.

Yusuke: Ma, have you seen my shoe?

Atsuko: I think you dropped it in the sink last night.

Yusuke: The sink? What the hell is it doing in there?

Atsuko: I dunno.

He went to the bathroom and looked in the sink, and there it was. His black shoe was soaking wet in the sink.

Yusuke: Dammit Mom! Why the hell did you put it in there?

Atsuko: Oh shut up. Come and eat your breakfast before you leave.

He put his soggy shoe by the door and put the nice dry matching one next to it. He was in a terribly grouchy mood at the moment. He was fully dressed and had his backpack with him.

Yusuke: I'm not hungry.

Atsuko: Fine. Don't complain when you have nothing to eat later and you're hungry.

He frowned at her as she lit a cigarette.

Yusuke: Are you ever going to quit?

Atsuko: Go to school.

She was too interested in the news to listen to her son. He slammed the door behind him as he left. One of his feet was making a squishy sound as he walked down the stairs of his apartment building.

Yusuke: *Damn school...I don't know why I'm even bothering to go today. Or ever.*

As he walked on the sidewalk with his backpack slinged over his shoulder, he spotted the very person he wanted to talk to. Keiko Yukimura. Instead of greeting her like a norman person, he popped her bra strap to get her attention. Her reaction was quite normal and expected.

Keiko: YUSUKE!!

She slapped him HARD on the face without a second thought.

Kurama walked down the streets of the city. He casually walked past the crowds of people and towards Srayaski jr. High. He need someone to talk so he could get rid of his unusual boredom today. He knew Botan and Yusuke would be there. They were people to talk to. He continued toward the school, hands in his pockets, the wind blowing his red hair.

[Yu Yu Hakusho!]

He turned to look at her again with a huge red slap mark on his face.

Yusuke: Man, out of all the guys I've fought, you have the hardest hit.

Keiko: Well, you deserved it! Why can't you greet me like a normal peson?

Yusuke: Maybe I'm not a normal person.

Keiko was fuming with anger. He always said something smart-alecky to her, every morning.

Keiko: When will you ever grow up???

Yusuke: I dunno. Maybe later. Or when I feel like it.

She looked at him one more time and stormed off ahead of him.

Yusuke: Hey! Wait! Come back! I was just joking!!! ^_^;

He caught up with her and he tried to smile at her. All she did was turn her head away from him and totally ingored him.

Yusuke: Keiko, please. I said I was sorry!!

She walked off ahead of him again.

Yusuke: This is getting so old....

As he began to slow his pace and not worry about Keiko, a teenage boy with flaming red hair appeared in the crowd of black and brown haired teens.

Kurama: Yusuke, can I have a word?

[Valen]

[i]It was early morning when Hiei awoke to the annoying buzzer of his alarm clock. The sun was just peaking above the trees in his front yard. It was clear he was going to be late again, as always. Now the task of waking up his sister. That was a job and a half.

He made his way to her room while stumbling on a few things left in the hallway. He wasn't exactly in a good mood at the moment. He finally made it to Yukina's room. He banged on the door trying to get her up.[/i]

[b]Hiei[/b]: Yukina! Get up! It's 7:29! We're gonna be late!

[i]There was no response.[/i]

[b]Hiei[/b]: Don't make me come in there!

[i]There still was no response. Hiei was getting very tired of these games every morning. He opened the door and walked in. To his surprise, she was gone. She had actually gotten up before him and headed to school already.[/i]

[i]He hurried and got ready for school. His alarm clock glaring at him with every passing minute. He finally threw the alarm clock onto the floor and headed out the door.

On his way to school, he couldn't stop thinking about why Yukina would have gotten up on time, and why she didn't wake him up. This was quite strange. But he waved it off and payed it no mind.

He finally reached the gates of his school and saw two of his friends walking together. He ran up to them and started to chat for a while.[/i]

*Laughs*
Hiei and Yukina live together in an apartment!!
Me like.....sounds like "New Style Demon Living" or something...about time Hiei and Kurama started living like normal people, unlike the way they used to. (remember?)
And Hiei and Yukina go to school!!!! LOL! I guess Yusuke made them start going.....

Yusuke looked at the worried expression on Kurama's face as he was about to talk to him. Yukina passed them with a quiet "Good Morning" as she passed by to get to her first class.

Kurama: Well Yusuke, I guess I should tell you now.
(Now, I'm not really going to say anything since Spike is doing Kurama. I am waiting for him to post on what Kurama is going to say. Or if he doesn't I will post it myself, ok?)

Yusuke: Ok.....

Just as he started, Hiei came rushing by and stopped. He was wearing his usual black cloak and pants, which would surely make the teachers mad today.

Hiei: Have any of you seen Yukina?

Yusuke: Yeah. She just passed by. She's proably off with Keiko talking about homework.....

Kurama: Yes. She was in sort of a hurry today.

Hiei thought for a moment and decided not to go running after her.

Yusuke: Anyway, what were you going to tell me Kurama?

Kurama: I'll tell you later. We don't have much time now.

Yusuke noticed that Kurama was wearing one of the dark blue school uniforms which they were supposed to wear and Hiei just totally refused to wear the uniform. Yusuke always wore his green one, so he said he'd stick with his black.

Hiei: Let's go then.

Yusuke: You know they're going to gripe at you again?

Hiei: Yes, I am aware of that. Is that a problem for you?

Yusuke: No.....I was just saying....

Hiei: Then don't worry about it.

Yusuke then shut up and tried to forget about it.

Kurama waited anxiously through the morning periods. It was easy for him, very easy. But still, he was becoming more and more bored by the second. By Lunch, however, his boredom turned to fear as began senseing a strange presence. It was like a pure, cold evil. He had to tell Yusuke.


He ran up the stairs and burst through the door to the roof. He saw Yusuke, Hiei, and Botan sitting aorund. "Hey, Kurama." Yusuke greeted him. "Do you feel it?" Kurama asked "Fell what?" Hiei asked. "A presence." he said. "It's like no presence I've ever sensed before." Yusuke began to concentrate. After a few minutes, his eyes snapped open. "I can feel it." he said, alarmed. "It's horrible." "I know." Kurama replied. "But what is it?"

[Yu Yu Hakusho!]

Ooh....how scary...the suspense is killing me!!! Is this what you wanted to tell Yusuke, Spike?? Just wanted to know....

Ok....I better hurry up and post because I won't be able to tommorow. School....0_o

Things will go pretty slow now since most of us have to go back to school and my dad doesn't like me to go on the computer on a school day.
ANYWAY...sorry for getting off topic.

Still on the Roof of Sarayashiki Middle School.....

Yusuke was beginning to get worried. The feeling he got when he concentrated on this evil power was freaking him out.

Botan: Yusuke?

Yusuke:..........

Botan: Yusuke!! Are you alright?

He jumped back to life and stared into Botan's big pink eyes.

Yusuke: Not really.

Botan: Well.....that makes a lot of sense.

Yusuke: Don't tell me you can't feel it!

Botan: Feel what?

Kurama: The presence.

Botan: Ok...you've lost me.....0_o

Hiei: I had a really strange dream today. It was right before I woke up. I felt the power right after that.

Botan: What power? What the heck are you guys talking about?

Yusuke: What the hell, Botan. Not heck.

Botan: Whatever.....

Hiei: Shut up you fools! There are more important things to talk about right now!

Kurama: Yes Hiei. The first thing we need to do is find out where it is coming from. Then we can confirm if it is evil or bad or what.

Yusuke: Ok, I'm still freaked about this "presence" and everything, but now all of a sudden, we have to go out and look for it? I mean, I sense freaky things every day!!

Kurama: Not like this you don't.

Just as Yusuke was about to talk back to Kurama, Kuwabara came bursting through the door short of breath. Yukina was with him.

Kuwabara: Urameshi.......

Yusuke: What the hell's wrong with you?

Kuwabara: Come quick! It's Keiko!

Everyone: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 0_0

ic: Yusuke: "What's wrong with Keiko? What happened?"

Yusuke: "Dammit, Kuwabara! Just tell me!!"

[i]Kuwabara kept ignoring him, even when Yusuke threatened to blast his arm off. Botan kept running when suddenly a beeping sound went off. Some turned their heads to see what that sound was, and why Botan had stopped running.[/i]

Botan: "All of you go on ahead. I'll catch up in a few seconds."

[i]Botan fumbled through her bookbag muttering things like "now where did I put that thing?" Finally she pulled out a small circular object. Botan pushed a button and the beeping stopped, then a screen appeared with a very disturbed Koenma in the middle.[/i]

Botan: "What is it, Koenma?"

Koenma: "WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'WHAT IS IT'?! DON'T YOU FEEL THAT AWFUL PRESENCE?!"

Botan: "Can't say that I can. I mean, it does seem like the air is filled with alot of tension, but that's about it."

Koenma: "I'm sorry to say it's alot worse than that. Where's Yusuke, anyhow? WE NEED HIM TO INVESTIGATE THIS!!"

Botan: "Something happened with Keiko. We were on our way to see what's wrong when you called."

Koenma: "Great. Even [i]more[/i] trouble! Go see what's wrong, then call back to inform me. Meanwhile, I gotta fill out all this paperwork..."

[i]Botan turned off the communicator and ran to catch up with the rest of them. Luckily she could still see them, so she wasn't too far behind. She caught up with them just as they stopped running.[/i]

Yusuke: "Well? Where's Keiko?"[/color]

[Yu Yu Hakusho!]

She CAN, it's just that at the moment I wanted to make her a little "left out." Sorry, I'll let you deal with her from now on!!! ^_^;
Oh yeah, and good post. Your part fit in perfectly. ;)

Yusuke: Where's Keiko?

Kuwabara still didn't answer.

Yusuke: Dammit Kuwabara! You dragged us ALL the way over here to play another one of your DAMN jokes on us.

Kuwabara looked at Yusuke with sad eyes.

Yusuke: Ok, NOW I know something's up. What is it?

Kuwabara: I can't tell you.

Hiei: You fool! This could have something to do with the presence that we felt earlier! Tell us!!!!!

Kuwabara's face turned a ghostly white.

Kurama: Kuwabara! Listen! You MUST tell us what's going on!!

He still didn't answer. He just looked at the ground, his face still pale. Yukina went up to him and placed her arm on his shoulder.

Yukina: Please tell us Kazuma. We need to know.

He looked into her big, beautiful pink eyes and sighed. He knew he had to tell them. He did go run up there and freak them out, after all.

Kuwabara: Alright. I'm warning you, this may be too much for you to handle.

Yusuke: Ok...so just get on with it!!

Kuwabara: Well, Takenaka-Sensei came bursting into the class after lunch when you guys were on the roof.

Yusuke: And why weren't you here with us?

Kuwabara: I was studying.

Yusuke:....0_o

Kuwabara: Anyway, like I said, the old man came running in and called Keiko to go with him. They were just outside the hall and we could hear them. As it turned out, Keiko's mom is in a coma in the hospital now. I don't know why, but that's what he said. She's in a coma. And Keiko ran off screaming and crying out of school, just about 10 minutes ago. I think she's in the hospital with her parents now.

Yusuke: Oh no!! Ma*! (*this is who he refers to as Keiko's mom. They are very close.)

Hiei: Is that it? Nothing more?

Kuwabara: I know YOU don't care, but isn't that strange that all of a sudden her mom just collapsed and is now in a coma?

Hiei: So you freaked us all out with this little act of yours and all this is is someone sick in a hospital?!?!?!?!?!?!? 0_o

(Everyone sweat drops, Anime style! ;) )

Kurama: Let's go check it out anyway.

Yusuke was really worried. Yukimura-San was a very old friend of his. She felt like a mom to him, so they're pretty close.

They all somehow escaped school just as Takenaka-Sensei came running out telling them to come back. They all headed to the local hospital where they were sure to find Keiko and her mother, along with Keiko's dad.

[Valen]

[i]As they walked on, Hiei started to sense something behind them but didn't say anything. He thought it was just him finally sensing what the others had sensed long ago.

Moments later, he sensed it once again. He turned around to see what it was, but nothing was there. Hiei was not in a good mood as it was.[/i]

Hiei: Dammit!

Yusuke: What?

Hiei: What...?

Yusuke: Why did you say 'dammit'?

Hiei: Nevermind...

Yusuke: ...

[i]They continued to walk for a while before they finally got to the hospital. They all walked in, except for Hiei. He stood outside for a moment as if debating on whether or not he should go in or stay out. If there really was something following them, it could attack in an enclosed space, making it harder for him to fight it.[/i]

The group stood around the hospital bed, all of them straing at Keiko's mom. Keiko sat, crying. Yuskue sat at her side staring unbelievingly at Keiko's mother, laying on the bed. Kurama bent over to whisper in Botan's ear. He didn't wan't to talk about the presence with evryone at a time like this. "It's stronger in here, for some reason." he said quitely. Botan leaned over to reply. "I'm starting to feel a faint presence in here, too." Kurama stared out the window. 'I hope it doesn't get worse." he thought to himself.

[Vilearchangemon]

As Yusuke and the group where standing talking about this pressence.They heard footsteps and grew worried.As the steps reach the door they froze.Shiro walk towards the door.

Shiro: You were right Hiei.This isn't normal.She was attacked by a demon.

The group gasped.

Shiro: Not just any demon,a powerful one.

[spike speigel]

"A demon?" Yusuke Asked, surprised. "Isn't that what he just said?" Hiei asked. "Is it the presence we felt?" Kurama asked the newcomer. "Could be." the man answered. "Wait a minute....who the hell are you?" Yusuke asked, snapping out of his daze. "Shiro's the name." the man replied. "Now let me check something...." SHiro trailed off and began to concentrate on something.

[Vilearchangemon]

Shiro: A demon is close. Not the one were looking for but a strong one none the less.

He began to walk away when Yusuke stoped him.

Yusuke: Where do you think your going.You have a lot of explaining to do.

Shiro: later,when the demon is dead. You can stay or can,your choice.

[spike speigel]

"How strong is this demon, Shiro?" Kurama asked. "Pretty strong, but you guys could probably handle him." Shiro answered. Kurama looked at the Keiko's mother, laying silently on the hospital bed. He shifted his gaze to Yusuke. He was staring at Keiko's mother. "Maybe you should find the deomn Shiro is talking about." Botan advised. "I can't leave Keiko here." Yusuke said. "Yeah." Kuwabara agreed. "You've got to decide soon. I'm leaving in a few minutes." Shiro informed then, walking out the door. Kurama looked out the window above the bed. "What should we do?"

[Valen]

[i]Hiei was sitting in a corner by that time trying to sense where the energy was coming from. It was coming from just outside the window. It felt as if it was right inside the room, but it wasn't. The machines and scanners would have picked it up by now.[/i]

Hiei: ... It's here.

Yusuke: It can't be.

Hiei: It's here. Trust me on this one.

[i]Hiei pointed out the window.[/i]

Hiei: That way.

Karama Lokked over at Hiei. "We must go." he said. Hiei nodded. Yusuke looked back at the two. "Fine. We'll go. But we better not take to long." he said. Kurama smiled. "Let's go, then." Kurama, Yusuke, Hiei, Kuwabara, and Botan all began to leave the room. "I won't be long, Keiko." Yusuke said.

The group left the hospital and continued down the streets. "The demon is north of here." Kurama said. "I can sense something coming the direction of the empty lot near Srayaski Jr. High." Hiei stated. "Then let's go that way!" Yusuke shouted.

Yusuke: Whoever it is of WHATEVER....it sure has a strong energy reading......(looks at watch and messes with it)

Botan: Yusuke, I don't think that thing is going to help us now.

Yusuke: Whatever.

Kuwabara: But what if it really ISN'T a demon? Could it be a ghost???

Hiei: Idiot. Ghosts don't release spirit energy PERIOD. They're dead. Try using your head before you speak.....oh wait. I forgot. You don't have a brain.

Kuwabara: Shut up shrimp before I beat you to a bloody pulp!

Everyone: 0_o..................*laughs at his stupid remark*

Kuwabara: *whines*

Yusuke (trying not to laugh): Ok....let's just shut up and find whatever this thing is......*still laughing*

Kuwabara: It's not funny Urameshi! You'll be next!!

Hiei: Yusuke, the score is 157 losses to 0 wins?

Yusuke: Nope. Now it's gonna be 158 losses to 0 wins.

Kurama: Stop it you two. Can't you sense it getting closer?

Botan: I don't have a very good feeling about this....

The group finally reached Sarayaski Jr. High. However, there was no demon in sight. "I know it's here." Yusuke said. "I can fel it."
"Yes, I can feel a stronger force here. The demon must be here." Kurama said. "Then I suggest we find him." Hiei said. "Alright. Let's go." Yusuke commanded. The group began a search through Sarayaski Jr. High.

[Valen]

[i]Hiei looked around and suddenly stopped.[/i]

Yusuke: What?

Hiei: Shut up...

Yusuke: Don't tell me to --

Hiei: I said, shut up!

[i]Yusuke shut up as he sensed something strong move quickly behind him, almost touching him. He froze as Hiei turned around to see what actually got Yusuke to shut up.[/i]

Hiei: Sense it?

Yusuke: Y..Y...ES!

Hiei: Yusuke? You're quite jumpy right now...

[i]He pointed behind him as everyone turned to see what was going on. They all finally began to sense it circling them.[/i]
