Samgee Gamwise
The purpose of this little expiriment is to let everyone know more about everyone. So here's the low-down, somone is going to post (:excited:me first) the lyrics to a song. If anyone knows the artist/album (or both) then they reply with a quote to that post, and thier answer. If they are wrong then we can all have a good:laugh::laugh::laugh:. If that person is right though, then the two will know they have somthing in common. Please post either all of the verses, the chorus, or a single verse. If a hint is requeted you may provide more information consecutively, the last hint you provide before giving them the answer should be the album name. So here is the first set of lyrics: Fare thee well The words, the bag of leaves that fill my head I could taste the bitterness and call the waitress instead 'Cause she holds the answer, smiles and asks one teaspoon or two There it is, get guessing! Semjaza
I believe that's Dross, which is on Machina II (The Friends and Enemies of Modern Music) by the Smashing Pumpkins. I still remember when that was released online and a friend of mine had me download and burn the entire 2 CD line up... Took forever on 56k heh. This is one I'd assume no one here would know without using a search engine, as I've only met one other fan of the band in my life. Band and song title would be nice, bonus points for the album title :). I'll put the full song only because I think it's rather short. Singing sprightly living brightly God we do it oh so well Come and join the party with me Come and live in pleasant hell And how high they rise Where fools go I don't think so Sssssh And all was dull and dark that night I lost my wholesome appetite If only I could get it right And feel good this day of the night And how high they rise Where fools go I don't think so

"how's it gonna be?" i dont really like them, but i have a friend who was nuts about them. if get a second right, do i get to go again? if so, then here's another: all the pigs are all lined up. i give you all that you want. take the skin and peel it back. now doesnt that make you feel better? *name/album/band *bonus points for year
Semjaza
Heh. The song is March of the Pigs, which is on The Downward Spiral (Halo Eight) by Nine Inch Nails. It was released in 1994. The song I posted is Where Fools Go, by 12 Rounds. They are one of the few bands signed to Trent's nothing records. A rather underrated group in my opinion... I believe something new is coming out soon. Let's try this again... You give me the reason You give me control I gave you my purity My rurity you stole Did you think I wouldn't recognize This compromise Am I just too stupid to realize Stale incense, old sweat And lies, lies, lies Same deal as before. It's Polar Boy, the song is called "Babystar", I think. Wait let me check... Yup. that's the name of the song. Ok it's my turn: "If you can amputate my heart then I will learn to smile and then, You can replace me with yourself and I'll become the model citizen. And I will tell them all that I had this breakthrough surgery. They give you a pill then remove your heart and replace it with a battery." I'll be content with the band name but you can put the song and album if you want.

The Harlequin
I just know Jesus Chicken's is something by Tool. I heard Raquel's the other day, but I can't remember the name. As the colours fade away my love, As the darkness turns to day above, Celebrate the one you love. And she says she has a friend inside. Shows her everything she tries to hide Please stop the pain inside She don't know. Please stop her pain. I think she's coming down again, I hear the rain. She's coming down again, I hear the rain. And she's dancing with the hands of fate, While she's sleeping with the one she hates, And tonight they celebrate. She don't know. Please stop her pain, stop her pain. I think she's coming down again, I hear the rain. She's coming down again, I hear the rain. And the rain still falls. It's falling down on me. She don't know, Please stop her pain, stop her pain. I think she's coming down again, I hear the rain. She's coming down again, I hear the rain. Jesus Chicken will be able to tell you the band name off the top of his head...
Semjaza
Lost Prophet's is Barroom Hero by Dropkick Murphys. A girl I used to go out with liked them, but I'm not a big fan... So I don't know the CD. Jesus Chicken's song is by Pacifier, and the song is called Everything. I believe the CD is called Pacifier as well, but it's not out in the US til the 11th of this month. Triforce Rules - Particle Man, by They Might Be Giants. I have no idea if they originally did the song, or what CD it's off of honestly. Raquel - That's Empty Jar by Coal Chamber. The CD was Dark Days. Good song, although I kind of found the CD disappointing overall. (I'm also confused to whether or not you are spelling Mudvayne the wrong way on purpose heh). And as for your's, Harlequin, I knew that one right away. It's The Tea Party. The song is A Certain Slant of Light, off of Splendor Solis. No one has yet to answer mine from earlier... It should be ridiculously easy heh.
