Writing Poetry help

I have to have a poem for class in a few weeks, and I need help picking a good one. I want to impress the class, and get a good grade. So please tell me your favorite poems, and why.

Well does it have to be of a famouse writers or could it be of your own?

Personally I'd say try and pick something of your own if you have it.

Profesional Writer: Pick Mitch....well he may not be a proffesional but he's good. I love his writing....

So if it has to be of a real (Prublished) poem I'd say.....I'm not sure....almost anything by Cummings is great!
