spike speigel
Antiflag is absolutely great. They're a political punk band and most likely the best I've heard. They aren't very well known, so I don't think many people will post here, but I gotta try. So, If you've heard them, what to you think?
Guest punkdot
...Antiflag is great, they are really good, my favorite CD of theirs is Underground Network... But Mobilize is also very good... I enjoy listening to Antiflag, they are underground though. So I don't know if many people know of them. It sucks for them though because Antiflag is great! wrist cutter
I know lots of people who know Anti-Flag... I, however, do not like them.
PiroMunkie
I enjoy Anti-Flag. Of the 'political punk' sub-genre, I would say that they are one of my favorites. I kind of have to be in the mood to listen to them, though. Even then, I do not listen to them for very long. Justin Sane's voice seems to get a bit whiney after a while. They are still a good band, though. I saw them at Warped Tour, and they put on a hell of a show.
Guest Musahi
Anti-Flag, I know I have heard them I just can't put my finger on it. I am not sure but do they sing "I am being watced by the CIA"? That is a pretty good song, and a great band. I have a also heard other songs, I just can't put my finger on it. I'll have to look through my music folder for them. I don't put tabs on the music I listen too. O_- Edit: Die for your government is the only song I have for them in my music folder. I like that as well, but I don't like the message it puts out. Everyone should have to serve their country. That is just my view though. Pressure
Everyone should serve their country?! ....communist I like Anti-Flag. I'm not going to say I love them, but close enough. I only have their CD 'Underground Connection', but it's pretty damn good. Ahh, political punk. So enjoyable. If you pay attention, you can learn quite a lot about the government that you never knew. God I hope PHiNE gets a record deal. They are my friend Matt's band. Local, so unless you live in Baltimore County, Maryland, you would not know of them. They are political hardcore punk. Misfits, meets the Casualties, meets the Sex Pistols. With a dash of anarchy thrown in there. I love all but, two of their songs. And the band members are all awesome. The only thing is, right now I'm emo-ish because of recent events.
Guest Matt
There are a few anti-flag songs I like, but I don't listen to most of them. Just not my style of music.
Kent
You have my attention now. Politics are sorta right up my alley, especially when its a punk band trying to rant about them. So what is their overall message or are they just another group of uneducated fools with a voice that carries way too far? I mean, its possible they are pulling a lil de la roche, but even that harvard grad isnt smart enough to see his hypocrocy. sooooo.... whats the deal with these guys, do they complain with no solutions or are they intelligent enough to offer an answer for the countries alleged problems? BTW, do they even gripe about legit stuff or is it all stuff about the CIA watching them? thanks for your patience on this on, I know that when it comes to anything slightly political I can be pretty nasty. spike speigel
Their not uneducated. Not uneducated at all. They're over-all message would probably be the government has become a web of lies and it's time to stop it(that's not exactly their message, but I can't put it in my own words, so that will have to do.) In most of their songs they don't just ramble on without soultion. They sometimes don't offer any solution, though. However, a few of their songs are about past things that have already happened. The stuff they rant about is all legit. There's none of that stupid 'The government is after me!' crap. Hope this answer's your questions.
