Kerndurnc open one sleepy eye to see Shoryu sweaty and, seemingly scared.

He whispered down to him.

Kerndurnc: Ah, what is wrong?

Shoryu:It...it's none of your business!

Kerdurnc: Why the hell do you keep to youself so much? Why?

Shoryu: It is not any of your business what is and has happend to me! That is why, rather.

Kerdurnc: Is it? Or is it just too much pain?!

Shoryu: Friend, I have lived with pain my entire life! You know nothing of my matters...

Kerdurnc: And that is all you have given me. That is all--

Shoryu: Exactly, it is none of your business! None of it! Why should you care? I'm sure you have your own story, your own pains. Why care about me?!

Kerdurnc: Because, this is me. Take it or leave it. I do care, even if you may put my forth as an enemy.

She said nothing.....her mind had gone blank. With the loss of her bloodcraze, her former judgement had returned. Tornait sighed and lifted both his wings. Dark energy surrounded the both of them and he carried her down to the main entrance....still unconcious. Once there, he perched beside her and shrank down to his normal size. As soon as she woke, he could see her reaction...his shape would have nothing to do with it.

Inside a memory, Sabirsing raced through the long streets and pathways of Punhar. She didn't belong. Punhar wasn't for people like her. She wasn't supposed to be born there. She wasn't supposed to not have a mother. It wasn't fair.

Cinoris yelled something after her, but she ignored it and continued running. Finally, she hit a stone wall and curled up in the corner. He caught up and landed next to her.

"Do you really want to go?"

"I wasn't made to live in heaven. My life is too heavy."

"That isn't your fault."

"Even if it isn't...I do not want to stay. If you make me stay here, I'll leave by other means."

"You can't kill yourself.... and you can't make the quantum leap."

"Do you want to watch me try and fail? I'll do that right now."

He held up a wing, and she paused in her movement.

"No. Mechery told me that you should go. And I agree. Are you ready?"

She nodded. He dipped his wings to her in a farewell salute, and eveyrthing went black.

In the present, Sabirsing jerked upright, eyes wide open. She looked at Tornait next to her, then collapsed back down again.

Tornait: ....what did you see?

Sabir: I had a Sight dream.

She tried to speak more, but the only thing that came from her mouth was blood. Her hand immediatly flew to her mouth, and she curled up.

Valygar had immediately become intrigued by the fighting driods. After seeing the small Cactaur fair so well against them, Valygar wished to see what sort of fight he could put up against them. He approached the door to the room, and it opened with a gentle hiss. Slowly he walked inside, his deep ruby eyes already scanning the room.

The droids were lined up next to the circular wall. All had their heads bowed, and their eyes were dead black, an obvious signal that they were turned off. Valygar approached the nearest one, and pressed a button on it's chest, opening a small compartment where the control panel was hidden. It's power rating was set at level 1. Valygar decided it would be best to leave it that way, it would be no good setting it at a high level, not even knowing what it's first level capabilities were.

He pressed the burron labelled "power" lightly with his index finger. In the lens of the droids eyes, a small red dot appeared, and it's head raised. Valygar leapt back into the centre of the room, falling into a crouched position.

Droid: Single opponent; Dunmer... Power level set at level 1. Training session begin.

The droid rose off the ground into a burst of forward momentum, heading like a freight train towards Valygar. In only an instant there would be impact, so Valygar instinctively leapt upwards in an ark, shifting balance to his left side, so he was pushed into a corkscrew, landing behind the droid, but facing him.

Shin's eyes snapped open to the sound of a door slamming. Heavy footsteps rumbled the floor as someone passed by the dorm room door. Shin jumped to his feet....He Was Late...AGAIN! He ran to the door and opened it, he looked to his right and saw Kerndurnc (If he remebers correctly) storm away. Shin leapt back inside, he runs to the shower and in 5 minutes flat he has his boots and katana polished, washed and ready to go, as soon as he ties his bandana at the back of his head, another person passes the door. He is frowning and mumbling to himself, clearly angry.

??: Who does he think he is?.....*murmer*....asking about my....*murmer*....MINE! Shoryu's! No business of his he is.....

Shin cocks his head to one side and wonders.

Shin: Hmm, must be Shoryu...

He then walks out the door at a half jog pase. He stands in the lobby, nobody to be seen. He jurns to see double doors open, leading to an elegant hallway. He runs down at a fair pase, looking at his sides and obove. He skids himself to a stop looking from side to side listening for signs of life. He hears some from a near by door, he turns to his right and runs to it, rumfiling up the carpet as he goes. As he bursts open the door, everyones head sharply turn to his presence. Shin prances forward and looks through a window leading down, he see's Tornberry and another, who looks of his kind, well same size and colour anyway. He turns around and everyone is back to whatever they were at. He finaly spies Laird in the corner. Shin approches him.

Shin: Hey man, are you...are you.....torturing yourself?!

Laird: Hell No! This is trainging my friend, Giga style!

As the large ammount of weight slams into him he releases a plesurable grunt. Shin scouts the area for something that would appeal, he sees what he is after.

Shin: Well, I'm goin' over here, to pump some iron.

Laird only nods and watches him as he walks away and starts to bench press massive weights.

Sweat dripped periodically to the floor as Piro continued his training. At this time, he was at a pull-up bar, but had his legs hooked over the bar at the back of the knee as he proceeded with vertical sit-ups. His shirt was now off and laying with his cloak beneath him and off to the side. The gloves remained on. His finely toned torso glimmered with tiny beads of perspiration which would roll down to his face with every descent of his body. The sweat already on his face moved to his hair. The sweat in the hair, once it built up enough, was dropped to the ground below him. He strained a bit as he came to his final ups. When he was done, he kicked his legs off of the bar and flipped them back under him landing in a half-crouched position. He picked up a complimentary towel he had begun carrying around with him the more he trained. He whiped his moist face clean of sweat, and then ran the towel along his body. He then flung it over his left shoulder as he ran his fingers back through his hair, which was dry for the most part; damp in some places with a few strands that here rather wet. He already done most of the available machines in this room, and decided it was time to work something more than just his strength.

Piro recalled the droid chamber Tonberry had first shown the group, which had interested him from the start. Sure he preferred a real, living opponent, but this would do. Not too mention the material these things were made of had to be harder than any of the people here. With this in mind, Piro made his way back out to the Colosseum hoping that not all of the droid chambers were already taken. He reached the next lowest level where Tonberry had said the entrances to the arenas were. He made his way past door that led to one, and could here some fighting happening within it. He walked further until he came across another door marked "Droid-Combat II". He could not here anything happening within it, so he assumed it was empty. He passed through the door, through a short hallway, and through another door. This one was heavy, made of a strong metal. There was no handle to it, but there was a palm-sized button on the wall next to it. He gave it a hit and the door slid open revealing the Droid-Combat Arena. He passed through its threshhold carrying his cloak, shirt, and towel with him. On the wall adjacent to the door, another button indentical to the other existed within a panel (probably to stop it from being hit during a battle). He opened the panel, and pushed the button as the door then closed. He grabbed his shirt from the bundle in his hands and through the rest against the wall, then proceeding to put his shirt back on. Piro walked deeper into the arena looking at the droids that lined the area. He figured one would be good for a start, so he walked up to the droid closest to him along the wall of the vast, circular arena. He opened a panel on its chest, seeing the level set at 1, and nodded. Ready to begin, Piro pressed the droid's power button and stepped back as the panel closed itself and the droid came to life. Piro did some quick, backwards acrobatics until he reached the center of the fighting grounds, and then stood in a general fighting stance as the droid approached slowly as its mechanics readied itself with a typical robotic voice.

Droid: Single opponent; Unknown origin... Power set at level 1. Training session: Begin.

By this time, the droid was only a foot or two in front of Piro where it had stopped and made its own stance to fight from. Piro smirked. The fact that he was a Creation obviously did not register within the droid's artificial intelligence. He figured that the power button is what the droid used to read the opponents information. Clearing these thoughts, Piro focused on the task at hand with a pleased smile, and begun this battle letting the droid start...

Piro: Hit me.

Tornait: I would heal you.....but that's not what I am.

Sabir: ...how comforting. Then tell me, what you are.

Tornait: The void.

Her head began to throb, and she grimaced. Just what she needed; another damned riddle to solve. Then again, Tornait could not lie any easier than Cinioris could. But he couldn't be literal. Or could he.

She quietly ticked off what she knew of the blessed beasts.

Chiri Cinoris of the five Winds, a Eagle. Symbol of Tai Henisa...
Laird Gan of the rose Dawn, a Horse. Symbol of Tai Mechery...
and Lee Sayi of the forever Night, a Dragon. Symbol of Loloth. There was no way he could be the void. That was Lee Sayi's job. Unless...

She swore to herself.

Sabir: Please tell me He didn't chain Lee Sayi.

Tornait: Sad but true.

Sabir: ....what happened?

Tornait: She was in the Sundering Seas...her domain, when He decided the time had come for He to break loose and get her back. When the darkness concentrated and the universe ended and began again...He was freed.

Sabir: Then what do I do? Can I free her?

Tornait: Of course not. Don't be a fool. You will never defeat Him. Not now. Your task is simple. You must unlock the door between you and your mother. Then you need to free Lee Sayi, and let them take care of the rest.

Sabir: I can do nothing then.

He looked at her quietly. Eyes flickering ever so slightly. Then he clacked his beak and looked away. And closed his eyes. Smiled. She propped herself up against the wall and waited for her body to regenerate.

The droid lifted itself higher on it legs with an arm drawn back as it then came down on a strong decent upon Piro who made no move to dodge or defend. The droid's 'fist' struck Piro hard across the left side of his face in the general area of his ear and cheek. Piro stumbled backwards and kept the retreat while he let the hit sink in and the droid followed. He could not help but laugh despite how much the punch hurt. He knew it might have not been the best idea to let the droid get a free hit in, but he wanted to know what its strength was like at any cost. This pain that he felt was the feeling of his increasing knowledge of the opponent.

As Piro readied himself for real battle this time, the droid went into a charge and then proceeded to jump high into the air. Piro kept his eyes on it following its movement. As it shifted into its decent, Piro let it fall a bit and then moved out of the way as the droid's legs came smashing powerfully to the ground. It recovered and spun clockwise dragging a leg through the air. Piro, in a half-crouched position, blocked the droid's leg with his forearm and shot himself upward driving his fist into the underside of the droid's head. The follow-through had Piro in a small leap in the air as he thrust a kick forward at the droid's head. Unfortunately, the droid caught Piro's foot and swung him overhead throwing his body to the ground releasing a deep pounding sound. Piro arched his back as the impact rattled his spine. The droid lifted a leg into the air, and the next thing Piro felt was all the air within him being pushed out as the droid stomped upon his chest as it then slowly increased the pressure. Piro layed there letting his body take the beating as he found a short breathing pattern. After a few moments, he began to fight back attempting to reinflate his lungs to their full capacity. His entire body strained putting effort forth into this. The droid fought this resistance, but Piro was slowly winning this small battle. When Piro reached a comfortable position he clamped his hands around the droid's leg. It immediately begun to struggle trying to take its foot away, but Piro rolled his knees in towards his chest and shot them upward hitting the droid in what would be the groin. The droid flew back through the air and come crashing to the ground with a series of metallic clangs. Both rose to their feet at reletively the same time. The droid widened its stance and put its arms forward as its hands sunk into its forearms. Two shots of energy erupted unexpectedly from the droid and caught Piro firmly in the chest and it drove him back into the wall, nearly knocking over a dormant droid. The two beams dissipated as quickly as they came as Piro dropped to his knees. It was becoming obvious to him that this droid was just getting started. Before Piro could look up again, the droid charged at him at an incredible and unwavering speed. Piro heard the footsteps coming and looked up just as the droid came upon him. Seeing the fist drawn back, Piro instinctively ducked letting the droid hit nothing but air. Just as Piro was about to make his own move, the droid quickly countered with a knee to Piro's stomach. Piro's eyes bulged with his mouth gaping open. The droid let him stumble forward a bit before delivering a spinning kick to his back sending Piro back into the middle of the arena. Piro pushed himself of the ground as he let out a hacking cough and spit to the ground. He had not expected the droid to be this tough. Let alone have the capability to fire energy like it did. That really caught him off guard. He was going to have to take this thing more seriously. Piro stood up and cracked his spine and neck, and stretched his arms above him. He heard the droids steps come to a stop behind him. Piro turned around seeing the droid back in its fighting stance. Piro took some distance from the droid, and crouched into his own stance.

Piro: All right... Round Two.

At that, they charged at the other each with a fist drawn. Each swung at the other as the fists met exploding with a thunderous force that resounded throughout the arena...

She sighed and hummed to herself. Words chasing her quickly through the corners of the mind she had inhereited. Always singing themselves, never ending. Tornait clacked his beak against her shoulder gently and lighted on her knee.

Tornait: I could try to heal you...but it might just fail.

Sabir: Go ahead. I'm all for self inflicted suffering, but this is starting to be a pain.....

He touched her mind with his, and opened a psi link between them. Energy poured from her to him, and the spirit stone on her chest went ballistic. It began to hum and vibrate, rising from her chest to hover above her face.

The gaurdian of the void stopped immediatly and broke the connection. Darkness swirled around her body, neither painful, nor frightening. She sighed and rose to her feet. Energy around her was stronger than before, pain was gone, blood had dried to a blue crust, easily brushed away.....and she felt fine. She twisted her fingers around her wrists experimentally, then bent backwards until she was staring at the wall behind her.

Tornait: I'm a genius!

Sabir: Oh shut up. You'd take credit for inventing the wheel if Loloth let you.

Tornait: Oh can it. Just because Loloth is happy in the Halfplane, Henisa is satisfied with letting Cinoris represent him....and Mechery is in Punhar's atmosphere...doesn't mean a thing.

Sabir: And what about Him? Would He let you take the credit?

The miniature hawk looked away. Painful...biting words. The darkness of her father, and the sarcasim of her mother had clearly brought this to her. Only the agression supressed in her dam had woken this time....and her father's was in full force. A bad combination.

Sabirsing ground her teeth together in fustration. Tornait grimaced and flew to her shoulder. She held up one hand, and he walked onto it carefully, talons retracting. She stroked his long tail feathers gently, and his calmness flowed back into her.

Tornait: Don't worry. Mechery won't let Him continue.

Sabir: He is more than enough to destroy the Sacred Triune combined.

Tornait: But there are several ways to defeat him....and they haven't been fully explored. I was sent here to see what could be done with you. Your mother surpassed Ananda, amazingly enough....and the Sayjian from your father will give you the strength she lacked. We will find a way.

The battle raged on as Piro proved to be more of a challenge to the droid than he was at first. Sounds of fist hitting metal and metal hitting skin fluttered about as the droid and Piro made their way all around the arena exchanging punch for punch, kick for kick, and hit for hit in a fury of constant movement. The droid's fist planted itself in Piro's cheek as he rolled off it and spun in a circle delivering a powerful backhand to the droid. Both proceeded to perform evasive acrobatics getting themselves away from the other so to take a quick breather; or, in the droid's case, just re-evaluate the situation. Piro removed his shirt once more. By this time, it was torn, beaten, and battered from the fight. This is what Piro was made for -- To fight; and he was enjoying every second of it. He enjoyed how the droid did not use its ki power too often; mostly just relying on phsyical combat. Piro had not yet totally developed his control on his ki power, so he had a harder time retaliating the same way. One thing he did not like, though, is that these battles were completely grounded. The droids seemed incapable of going airborne... but perhaps that was on a higher level. The ability to fly was another thing Piro knew he had to work on. He can move around fine in the air, but he has found that it is more difficult to fight in such a position.

Regardless, he had to focus on the now. The droid stood waiting for him to begin; and so he did. He ran towards the droid as fast as he could carrying both hands overhead fist-in-palm. The droid began to run as well with its fists at its sides. When in close proximity, the droid swung forward with both fists. Piro had anticipated the move as he lept through the air in a slow forward flip. By the time he was directly over the droid's head, Piro was straight up and down, and, with his hands still ready for attack, brought them to the back of the droid's head like an axe. The droid stumbled forward as Piro twisted his body and landed facing the droid. Just as he did, the droid dropped into a mule kick pounding both feet into Piro's chest sending him through the air and to the ground. Piro rolled himself backwards into a crouched position and lunged at the approaching droid grabbing it in a bear hug around the lower torso area, lifting it off the ground, and throwing it back down onto its back. The droid flipped itself up with and immediate punch which Piro narrowly dodged, but only to feel a kick to his side hit instead. Piro quickly caught his stumble and moved it into a cartwheel followed by a round off as the droid was dead on his tail. Piro quickly grabbed its head and lifted his legs into the air and drop kicking the droid's visage. Piro used the kick's backward force to flip himself over, but it was not enough and he landed on his knees. Piro grunted loudly at the unexpected pain, but continued the fight despite it. When he stood up, he found the droid standing at a distance with both arms forward. A stance that Piro had seen before, but something seemed different. The ki with this thing was about to expel gathered slowly first into a beach ball sized sphere of energy. Piro readied himself for whatever this might be expecting the worst, and then it happened; worse than Piro had expected. The sphere traveled at an immense speed that Piro did not comprehend to the droid's level 1 ability, but obviously he had underestimated. He searched his mind for any way out of its path or counter attack, but it was approaching too quickly to give him a clear thought. He quickly retreated a few steps and shielded his face with his arms yelling as he put more energy towards to defending himself. Just as the sphere was about to hit, Piro suddenly, and unknowingly, disappeared from the arena. He reappeared just after the sphere had passed in the same position he was in before. The sphere crashed into the arena wall, which absorbed the energy (probably to make sure these rooms are not made into rubble). Piro stood the way he was for a moment as the droid reared back. It seemed surprised at to what it had just seen. Piro carefully moved his arms from in front of his face, and looked around. He had not been hit, nor did he know what happened in order to evade the sphere...

Piro: ... Whoa...

After another moment of trying to figure things out, he just brushed it aside as he chuckled with an undertone of arrogance. A haughty smirk appeared on his face. He looked at the droid who stood waiting for Piro once more.

Piro: All right...

... he said as he lowered into another fighting stance...

Piro: Round three, and let us try and make this the last. I am getting a bit hungry.

The droid seemed to comprehend his words, but it could have just been him. It prepared itself, and round three began...

Sabir: ...you're saying I can summon her now.

Tornait: It's a theory of mine. Mechery herself never summoned one of her stars into battle. She doesn't know either. For all her divine knowledge...this was a never explored region.

Sabir: Shut up. Loloth never tried either. If you're going to point an acusing finger at a goddess, do it without four of them pointing back at you.

Tornait: I don't have any fingers...

Sabir: Must...control....Fist of death....

The hair on her neck bristled, and Tornait quickly ducked out of range. He grinned and waggled his wings at her.

Sabir: So now that you know not to draw my blood....shall we fight again?

Tornait: .....well, you're the first hybrid Laporin I've ever seen go into a bloodcraze. I have to ask Master Tonberry about this. Mostly because...I've never heard of anybody but perhaps a beast demon go into one.

Sabir: Yay...I'm so excited. *deadpan expression*

Rising to her feet, she shook back her short hair and drew out her staff. She leaned on it, then trilled at Tornait. He immediatly lighted onto her shoulder and nibbled on her ear.

Sabir: I'll give you ten seconds to take your beak off of my person.

Sorry for the wait, AJ, damn Otaku crashed on me when I posted my uuber-fight. <<;;

Flurries of punches and elbows commonly followed by quick one-two knee combinations were thrown in tight arcs to each other; Arano and Yulaw were giving it a good show. For a minute or two, the pair continued to sling out power-packed melee strikes, until Yulaw found a hole in the defense when Arano reared his right hand back for a devastating flat palm; Yulaw sent the proud Saiya-jin into the air with a swift uppercut.

Arano came, flipping backwards, to a dead halt, ki radiating outwards in a slight pulse of whence he stopped. Yulaw dashed backwards some ten meters. Arano smiled slightly, wiping the blood away from his split lower lip. The Locomotive drew his arms in, fists balled directly under his shoulders with his elbows crooked all the way in. He flew forward a mind-shattering speed towards his opponent, left fist extending forcefully.

As soon as Arano was in range, Yulaw, acting like his body was on fire, swung a hard left for all he was worth. The back of his fist caught Arano in the wrist, and sent his punch off course. But that was not the objective of this assault; Arano pulled to a complete halt mere inches from Yulaw, smirking. His left hand shot forward, a few centimeters from Yulaw's chest, fingers extended.

A pale, icy blue orb formed in Arano's palm, a tint of white circulating the center of the sphere. The blast shot forward, carrying Yulaw some fifty meters away, before it exploded in a furious display of awesome light energy.

When the smoldering smoke drifted away, Yulaw was on his feet, left hand rubbing his stomach gently. He muttered a curse or two before smirking, a trademark move by now, directly at Arano. Arano eased into a relaxed standing stance.

Arano: "How'd you like that, Yulaw? I call it Raigeki. It's formed by concentraiting a high amount of ki into a single point. It usually explodes on impact; it's very volatile, and I suspect the only reason why it didn't is because you put up resistance."

Yulaw: "I must admit, it packs quite a punch...."

With that, both fighters simultaneously launched at each other once more, barely scathed, and ready for Round Two...

He slowly moved his arm to the side and flipped the lever. The plate stopped falling and he stood up rubbing his head. "Well atleast i'm warmed up." He gave a quick waved to Shin and then turned suddenly his senses alive and blazing.

"Someones going at it." He could feel them fighting and he started walking down to the next floor looking for the source. He finally found the area Yulaw and Arano were fighting in. He leaned against the wall and decided to take a minute and watch a bit. He wanted to have a go with one of those androids but he needed to cool down a bit first. And it was a good chance to size up that half breed who dared to look down upon him.

Laird blinked at the surprising thought and spent a brief moment wondering why it had occured to him before returning his attention to the fight.

Shin was warming up, but he thought that this area wasn't much special. He felt energy surges everywhere, from his knowledge he knew their was definitely one fight, but he was thinking mabey even 2 or 3! He thought to himself "There must be more than this. Well this isn't everyone, so there must be other places." He grabbed a towel from a near by rack and walked out dabbing his head as he goes. His muscles were bulging, sweaty and all warmed up. He wanted to start "The Real Stuff" as he called it. He wandered about, finding his bearings, then he went down one level. There was definitely a fight going on there, he didn?t bother though, he was more interested in "The Real Stuff". He passed through a pair of big wooden swing doors, which were labelled "Gravitational Training" He wasn't sure what this was, but had a fair idea. He found the first door to his right to be labelled "Room #1" he wanted in quickly, excitedly and enthusiastically he pressed one of two buttons. He pressed a green rectangle and the door slid upwards with a hiss and smoke rolled out smothering his feet, revealing the round chamber. In the middle of the chamber was a huge machine, with many buttons and was bulky. Shin grinned and nodded, his face like one of a child in a sweet shop (candy store). As he walked through the door it snapped shut behind him, although, he didn't notice within his hypnotic like trance. He walked up swiftly to the machine. There was a "Main" button, so of coarse he pressed that firstly, on the small digital interface a greeting appeared and asked:

"Choose Your Gravitational Level."

As Shin pressed buttons, small beeps echoed in the circular chamber. He wasn't sure on what he was doing but he proceeded anyway. He finally pressed the "Go" button after allot of beeping, he was becoming irritated, but before he could even think, he was slammed to the floor as "100 Times Gravity Applied" was announced. Shin struggled to stand to his feet, he pulled himself up by the machine's edge, it was bending and denting where Shin's fingers were applying pressure. He quickly switched the "Off" button and his whole body was relieved of pain and pressure. His knowledge of the machine had raised slightly, so he set it to 50, he nods with pleasure and gets to work with sit ups.

If nothing else, this droid was fast. Valygar had been doing quite well for the first few minutes, or so he thought... but it occured to him now that the droid had spent those first moments of battle collecting data on Valygar. Now, every block or strike of manouver Valygar made only lead to yet another hit by the droid. It wouldn't have been so bad if the droid didn't pack such a punch...

Valygar sent an open plamed strike towards the droids chest... as he had done once before. The droid, with his own palm open pushed Valygar's hand over to the left. The droid then moved in to deliver a strike with his knee... just what he had done previously. Valygar vaulted into a backwards dive, his legs together, and he struck the droid at the base of it's chin. Valygar then landed on his upper back, both palms planted firmly on the ground, over his shoulders. The droid had stumbled back a few steps, and was regaining composure.

Valygar wasted no time. With a flick of his legs and a quick push of his arms, he was able to flip back onto his feet. In the same motion he arked into a dive towards the droid, both arms extended fully, fists balled. The droid caught both hands suddenly, and using Valygar's own momentum, pulled Valygar towards his own person and delivered a two swift knee strikes to Valygar's solar plexes. He allowed Valygar to collapse onto his knees, but still retained his grip on Valygar's hands.

Struggling to regain breath, Valygar calmed himself. He reached inside himself, searching once more, and finding that same strength that the others affectionately called Ki. He forced it outwards, through every pore, every cell in his body. It gathered inside him, he could feel it's strength, and with the slightest push he expelled it in all directions.

A bright blue pulse shot out from Valygar's person very suddenly, and the force of it was like a battering ram, too great for even the droid's mighty grip. He released Valygar's hands, and was sent backwards with immense velocity. Crashing into the wall, Valygar heard the screech of metal crashing into metal, and the droid's body buckled under the force of the crash. It hit the floor in a heap, allowing Valygar to regain his composure.

Valygar stood, watching, as the metal body of the droid started to bleep, and it started to rise. Within moments it was back, exactly as it was before, facing it's Dunmer opponent. Valygar clicked his knuckles individually, first right hand, then left... and then he crouched, waiting for the droid's attack.

Arano and Yulaw sped at each other, hovering mere inches off the ground. As they came within striking distance of each other, they both danced aside in a menacing circle. They touched-ground, and slipped loosely into their ready stances.

Yulaw: 'How about we try some floor action now?'

Arano: 'Sure. Hovering allowed: no flying.'

Arano pulled his right leg back, and onto the ball of his foot. He was constantly shifting his ankle, readying a hard kick of some sort. Yulaw stared at him, and smirked. He was twice as fast as Arano, and with flying barred, Arano only had his brute strength going for him.

Yulaw raised his guard, pulled back a leg, and bounced lightly and impatiently on the spot.

'Ding ding'...

Without reason, a faint beeping sound begins emitting from Tonberry's vest. He reaches in, grabbing hold of a small electronic-notebook. He flips it open, revealing a monitoring system of everyone's PSMs. Shin's PSM was flashing red.

Cactuar: What is it?

Tonberry: It's Shin! Fool, he'll be crushed like a bug at Fifty!

Acting with amazing speed, Tonberry rushed towards the Gravity chamber, grabbing the handle of the door, and pulling backwards with all his might. Straining himself to the limit, The door ripped from it's hinges, and a massive wave of Gravity hit the training room. Equipment was slammed against by the displacement effect of the Gravity wave. People struggled to stay on their feet--and some failed. Tonberry, on the other hand, trudged straight into the heart of the gravity well, grabbing Shin, and flinging him out of the chamber. The inverse gravity made it easy for the small green creature to pick up the large Shin. He landed outside the chamber, slamming into a wall next to Cactuar.

Tonberry turned to face the gravity control device. He noticed the manual override box, and knew he had to destroy it to shut down the device. Bolts of energy began exploding out of the large cylindrical structure, and the gravity waves started intensifying. No time left. The mechanism would implode, and take the Sanctum with it. Acting on a whim, Tonberry whipped out his Chef's Knife, and threw it at the box with such force that gravity was no match for it. The blade spun and lodged itself into the manual override box, shutting down the Gravity chamber. All was soon quiet, and the displacement waves dispersed. Everyone stood shocked (aside from the people fighting, as the Arenas have their own gravity settings). Cactuar walked casually over to the chamber, frowning and shaking his head.

Cactuar: This'll take a good week to fix. Circuts are blown everywhere.

Tonberry: Just Great. We're one G-Chamber short.

Tonberry walked over to Shin, a fustrated look on his face.

Tonberry: Perhaps next time, Master Shin, you'll just do away with the training and try to kill yourself in a more pleasant way, Hmm? Something that doesn't require an amazing amount of effort when I come to save you.

The small green figure moved away from Shin, picking up some buckled Equipment on the other side of the room, and shifting it back into it's rightful place. Cactuar chuckled, and began surveying the damage done to the Gravity Chamber.

Shin stands up shaking his head furiously from side to side as his eyes focus correctly again. As the green figure disappeared around the corner Shin arose, his muscles felt immensely powerful, after only one sit up...after which he couldn't move. He struggled with all his might, veins protruding the very skin, almost bursting with capacity. The small flash back ended. The rush Shin was getting was amazing, his anticipation to go back in and try it at 60 was exploding! He needed to use the G-Chamber, it almost became an addiction. He slowly walked forward and turned to his left, opening the door to Room #2. A small green forearm snapped in front of him blocking the way. Shin looked down to find Cactuar shaking his head.

Cactuar: I think you have had enough of the G-Chambers today.

Shin nods and sighs, his addiction fizzled out, it was the rush of the danger, pain and power. He placed his hand on Cactuar's shoulder, almost engulfing it.

Shin: I'm sorry, if there is anything I can help with.....

Cactuar: Uh, Yeah, can you just lift all of this gear down to my technical room for repair?

Shin: *salutes* Will do....

Sabirsing's ears twitched and Tornait immediatly took his beak off her ear. With slow deliberate steps, she walked down the hall into the Gravity area. Tonberry shook his head hopelessly.

Tornait: Looks interesting.

Sabir: Let me guess.....a macho thing posessed him.

Tonberry: Nice theory. I don't know.

Cactaur: Well, at least you won't have that problem. Eh?

Sabir: Well, aside from a fit of wild recklessness that takes my mind over when my blood is drawn....no. Not really.

Tornait snorted and she smiled at the two masters. She waved and walked back to her dorm room. The desire to train had been extinguished for the day.

Once inside, she casually locked the door, then crawled into her bed and closed her eyes. Tornait perched on the endtable and waited. For a long time. She opened her eyes and looked at him.

Sabir: Can you block a part of my mind?

Tornait: ...I've never tried. You've got to remember, I'm young...younger than your mother.

Sabir: ...I'm gonna die.

Tornait: I can try.

Before she could protest, black light enveloped her and surrounded her face. She opened her mouth, but the darkness filled it...and she closed it.

Both fighters were in the intense heat of battle as they constantly moved in out and of quick hit and run attacks. As they were in the second round, they exchanged hit for hit, neither party had the upper hand. One thing Piro had definitely noticed about the fight is that its challenged increased the more effort he put forth. It was as if the droid's skill level was not set at just one particular power, fighting style, mentality, and overall ability. It acted just as a normal person would; being able to fluctuate its power at will. Their designer and engineer must have been a genious to create such a system. Piro figured that the droids' separate levels were similar to that of the Saiya-jin's, as his Creator had described to him when he told of his past. Within one level ranged a whole possibility of skill and power; within another lay even more. Who knows how far one level actually reaches before it needed to put up a noth in order to become more difficult.

As the fight had continued on, Piro found himself being more and more forced into using his ki as a source of defense and attack. By this time, he was getting used to it. He could not do anything too extravagant, but that could be worked on. He was also being forced to use a bit of flight as an evasive maneuver. He had began to suffer a few physical wounds; nothing too threatening, and so the fight continued...

The droid skidded backwards to a stop coming out of another quick scuffle immediately tossing two random balls of ki in Piro's direction. Piro reacted throwing a fist forward, which, upon reaching its extent, developed a semi-transparent lense of red energy. The droid's ballistics smashed into the shield and bounced right back off leaving faster than they arrived. Piro charged forward not far behind the orbs. The droid leaped high into the air as the two balls high there ground where it stood, where they were absorbed (just like when energy hit the walls). Anticipating a attack from behind, Piro took low flight into the air as a barrage of small ki blasts began to be fired at him by the droid like a machine gun. They chased him all around the air as he continued to evade them. He then took a sharp turn towards the droid taking the risk of a frontal attack while the attack at hand was still being operate. He dodged left, right, up, and down as the ki flew chaotically around him. He was faring pretty well and was getting within good proximity of the droid, but he was still not a pro at battle during flight which became eminent as a shot grazed his left shoulder. The force of the hit spun Piro into a barrel roll as his extremities flailed about. He passed under the droid heading for the ground, but if he was going down so was the droid as he wrapped his hands around the shins of the droid bringing them both to the ground with a heavy crash. The droid rolled uncontrollably free from Piro as he rolled in the other direction. Piro got to his feet. He was beginning to notice that this droid was becoming more accustomed to long-range attacking and defense, as well as airborne battle. It seemed as though it was monitering Piro's skill and exploiting what weak points it could find. Wasting no time, Piro charged at the droid trying to get back into close-range combat for a while, but the droid finished standing up and acted quickly by grabbing Piro's arm and using his forward momentum to fling him overhead and toss into the wall about fifty feet away. Piro hit the wall without and just slid to the ground then proceeding to scurry to his feet as the droid fired a solitary beam at Piro. It sliced through the air as it soon came into Piro's attention. He threw his palm forward to meet it and upon impact there was a slight power struggle, but Piro was able to deflect the beam away. Again Piro charged the droid with all of his might as his body developed a thin, red aura. The droid began hovering backwards in retreat keeping itself at the same speed Piro was coming at at it then unleashed an even heavier, and more random, melee of ki missles. Being that Piro was on the ground it was much easier for him to avoid them. Seeing that he was gaining no ground on his opponent, Piro leaped forward into a crouch and push off his legs into the air in constant forward flip. Once at a reasonable height he rolled out of the flip and came to an abrust stop throwing his arms forward emitting a ball of ki from his hands as his aura flared for that moment. The droid stopped its assault, and looked more closely into the air with a delayed notice of the sphere of ki heading its way. With no time to dodge the ball smashed the droids right arm nearly ripping it off the body. The arm became useless like a dislocated shoulder. Piro knew his shot was pure luck, as he was hoping for a haed or chest shot, but this would do. The droid tried to bring its arm back into comission as Piro began a fast, sharp decent toward the unsuspecting droid who had become too distracted. Retracting his left arm back with a tight fist packed at the end, Piro lined up his shot. Just before impact the droid's head snapped up in surprise as Piro pounded the right side droid's head with a solid left hook. The droid's 'face' took a slight dent from the impact. Its glass-like eyes shattered from the force of the impact as the entirety of the droid flew backwards crashing violently into the wall. Its body fell limply to the ground where it layed there as if it were dead as Piro came to a crash landing. Constant electrical snaps sounded, and every so often sparks would erupt from the droids now empty eyes. Those were perhaps the only signs that it was still operative aside from the occasional twitch in the circuitry of its fingers.

Piro got up and looked at the defeated droid. His eyes widened at the sight of the damage done. It was not necessarily a lot, but it was more than he expected.

Piro: Umm... whoops...

Piro scratched his head and examined the droid for a moment more. After he was finished, Piro brushed himself off and examined his wounds: some bruises, some slightly charred areas from energy hits, some cuts. None of them hurt too much. There was a constant stinging sensation on his body now, but the the initial pain was over. Regardless, he enjoyed it. Piro moved over to his things and first put his shirt back on, followed by his cloak. Now he just carried his towel with him. He made his way over to the droid who was still active. He rolled it over and opened the panel on its chest once more, and pressed the power button. The panel closed itself as the robotic voice came forth once again...

Droid: Single opponent: Unknown origin... Power set at Level 1. Training session: End.

With that, the droid's body eased as the snaps and sparks slowed to a stop. Piro left it sprawled on the floor near the wall. He did not want to accidentally cause more damage than necessary. So, at last, Piro released a final sigh as he exited the arena. When he came into the main hallway he looked both ways and decided to go left. He would then resume some calmer training. He had been going hard for several hours now. First in the weight room, then in the Droid-Combat Arena. His first point of business, though, was to notify either Tonberry or Cactuar that a droid needed a face lift...

A few hour later, Sabirsing woke up, eyes focusing slowly. She rubbed them, then touched her face experimentally. Nothing seemed to have changed. Tornait...wait...was his name really Tornait? Yeah, it was Tornait.

Tornait: Hello.

Sabir: ...hi?

Tornait: Did it work?

Sabir: Huh?

Tornait: Oh dear...well, there's only one way to find out.

He hopskiped forward and bit down on her hand savagely. She yelped and jerked away, blood splashing on the ground. She nursed her hand, glaring at him venemously.

Sabir: That hurts!

He cocked his head to one side, then his eyes closed and he swooped into the air, winging around swiftly, doing several victory rolls and dives.

Tornait: YAY!! It worked! I rock! I am number one!! WOHOO!!!

She scratched her head, and looked at him sideways.

Sabir: Um...did I miss something?

Her fingers touched the back of her neck, and encountered raised ridges. Where had they come from? She looked in the bathroom mirror. Then shook her head. She must be losing it.

Tornait: Do you remember anything before this?

Sabir: I was fighting you, then you knocked me out. And I saw Punhar...and all that other stuff.

Tornait: Ahah....it did work. I think I deserve a treat.

Sabir: ...for....living?

Yulaw sprang into action immediately, stunning Arano with pure speed. Several punches seemed to form out of thin air, only to cap the Saiya-jin in the kisser dead-on, no warning. Arano was taken off guard, and stumbled back, his already-split lip gushing blood like a river.

A quiet "Ah, Hell" escaped from Arano's mouth, as he turned just in time to get what felt like a knee to the jaw; he spun around quickly in an uncontrolled jumble of senselessness. That one woke him up quite a bit. He pinched his cheek right quick, and pulled. Yeah, he was awake all right.

Several more blows plucked away at Arano's spine, all seeming to navigate directly to his spine. Fighting Yulaw now was like fighting two of him when they were previously fighting. A stunning kick came around, on course to peg Arano in the nose, but he was ready this time. He blocked the kick -- barely -- with his right forearm, but the blunt of the attack left a nice stinging in his wrist.

Yulaw came into view once more, some ten feet away. A fatal mistake. A ki blast, radiant yellow in color, hurled its way from Arano's right hand to Yulaw's chest, where it knocked him flat on his bum, not to mention give him a hellafied case of heartburn. His chest was slightly burnt and sensitive to the touch.

When Yulaw stood up once more, still reeking of smoke from the explosion, he came face to fist with a strong backhand, delivered from a very bloody Arano. Yulaw rocketed backwards, until his left arm shot out, and he sprung up on his hand alone. Launched some ten feet in the air, he descended sharply to the ground with a sleek crouch.

His left eyebrow rose slightly as he gingerly reached up to his nose with his right hand -- his only free hand due to his left was still on the ground where he braced himself from his impact. Yulaw smeared the blood that came from both nostrils away, and stood fully erect, and faced Arano while glaring furiously.

He dashed forward, the tips of his toes bare centimeters off the ground; he was hovering, as agreed. He ripped forth like a wave onto the beach; unrelentless, and began pummeling Arano with sprees of melee attacks. While Yulaw's attacks lacked power, in number, they were quite hurtful. Like ants; one will sting for a little bit, but many will put you out in no time flat.

A minute or so of half-blocked hits, Arano finally snapped. Energy flared outwards from his body, and quite effectively knocked Yulaw back several feet, and stopped his assault. But it only spelt the beginning of Arano's rampage.

Arano led off with an Earth-shattering right hook to Yulaw's rib cage. The blow could be heard from the observers' standing point; they all grunted slightly when they heard the hit reverberate inside of Yulaw. A left spinning backhand sent Yulaw in a tight corkscrew to the ground. He leapt up swiftly, not wanting to get stomped on or anything, only to get a hero's welcome; a smack in the face. Or rather, an elbow to the ear to be exact. Yulaw slapped an on-coming kick away with a strong forearm swipe, be he got completely clobbered by an axe-handle, Arano's knuckles seeming to chip away the back of his neck and fill the holes with a fiery pain which he had never encountered before.

The pair jumped back a foot or two, only to dash forward once more. Each had one last blow. Each of the fighters' right fists firmly planted into the other's cheek. They dropped their fists, and let their guards down. A break was in order. They left the Sparring Arena, to take a quick rest, but their fight was far from over.

From above, Tonberry still marveled at the duo.

Tonberry: "Most impressive..."

Thoughts slowly began to disaper from her mind, and she focused on the Spirit stone. It hovered in the air, held aloft by a black pedestal. She sighed and rotated her ears back until she could hear nothing but the sound of her own breathing. All movement around her slowly came to a halt.... Tornait felt like he was slowly suffocating, even though it was impossible....and he rustled his wings. The noise he let off was as loud as if he had bated...

Sabirsing paid no attention, and simply increased her concentration. If she was going to relax and figure out exactly what had happened to her....it was giong to be now.

Several minutes later, she had bypassed the mundane, and was finally in the astral plane. A pure white void, with no begining, and no end. She stepped out, and pressed her hands together. She felt like she was still in the ethric, but it was obviously not so. Centering her energy, she called out.

"Raiha."

A voice came back to her, the sounds lighter and softer than before. Sabirsing called out again. Even louder.... This time, something changed. A shimmering of light came from within the void and Raiha herself stepped out. Her form was the exact same, but the silver crown had been replaced with a filgeree of 7 stars. She gazed upon her only daughter and the two were quiet for a long time.

Raiha: Why have you called me?

Sabir: What did you do to me?

Raiha: I had to save you from the Ending. I trasnsfered your starseed into Cinoiris and sent him to Punhar. The rest you know.

Sabir: ...I have the bloodlust. Why?

Raiha: It's a mix of your father's blood, and mine. You are more Sayjian than I was, and you will have the strength of body I never posessed. You need to use it to your advantage. And when you do....your bloodlust will be replaced with something else.

Sabir: I can't fight. I'll either kill or be killed.

Raiha: You need to force your willpower upon yourself. Tornait can help.......more than he knows. Do not contact me until it is mastered....I can not help you again until then.

Her form disapeared into the white nothingness, and Sabirsing drew back into the real world, both terrified and upset. Her mind was a jumble of thoughts and memories that were not her own...and it wasn't fair. In the ethric, her feelings of the bloodlust were unlimited, but in the astral, she knew exactly what was going on, and didn't need to strain to keep herself under complete control.

Tornait: You need to work on your force of mind then....if you're going to overcome this. My cure was temporary.

Sabir: I can not control it. Yet. But I will.

The droid remained in a stationary position, so perfectly still that a humanoid being would find replicating it impossible. Neither opponent had moved now for almost a minute, and Valygar decided the droid was either waiting for him to strike first, or he was plotting out his own best COA for the next round. Either way, Valygar was growing impatient.

Springing forward suddenly from crouched legs, Valygar sped towards the droid like a ball shot from a cannon. Inches from the ground, the air around him was distorted from the force of Valygar's charge, and the sheer heat it generated.

Valygar drew his left hand back fully, keeping his palm open. He fully extended his right arm infront of his person, in anticipation of a defensive throw by the droid. It seemed to like those menouvers, using Valygar's own momentum to hurt him. And, with the speed Valygar was going, an effective reversal from the droid could mean paralysis.

Valygar came within two metres of the droid, and suddenly the droids arms shot up, gripping Valygar's extended right arm tightly. With amazing speed, the droid shifted it's weight onto its left side, preparing to swing Valygar round by his arm. At that moment, Valygar let a gleaming orb of white ki grow in his open left palm, which he then threw forward like a punch into the droid's chest.

Upon impact, the unstable orb ripped apart like a flash grenade, the power it generated making the very metal of the droid's chest soft, and it rippled like water struck by a rock. The droid's grip on Valygar's arm was certainly tight enough to cut off his circulation, it was so tight infact, that the droid's own shoulder joints would break apart before it's grip released... which is exactly what happened.

The droid was launched backwards, crashing into the arens wall once more, it's arms still gripping Valygar's right wrist. It slammed with square back into the wall, and, as if on an a spring, was propelled 15 feet back into the arena. Valygar still struggled to regain control of his own person, he was only metres from the wall and still going at an impressive speed, unable to stop his immense charge.

Once more he diped into the well of ki inside him, and, whipping out both arms, let it stop him like the wall would have, except the ki wouldn't hurt. He hit a dead stop as a light flux of red ki was sent outwards from his being. He lowered himself gently to the floor, and turned to face the droid, who, like a true warrior, was trying to regain his form.

The droid, now with a large dent in it's chest and two arms missing, scrambled desperatly to get to his feet. The blast Valygar had used would have ripped apart any living tissue, but the droid has not gone without injury. The dent in his chest had destroyed much of it's circuitry, and collapsed some valuable hydraulics. Valygar knew the fight was over... finally, and this droid needed fixing.

Valygar: That's enough droid... the fight's over.

With those words, the droid accepted defeat. It let it's legs go to sleep and it slumped back down to the floor. It seemed to Valygar that it was trying to speak, but the blast must have damaged it's speech circuits. He could hear a fan inside it working wickedly to try and cool the body down, and it eventually managed to blurt pieces of words out.

Droid: Si-le oppo-nt; Dunm-... Power s-t at lev- 1; tra-ni- sess-- end.

Valygar let his body relaxed, and he decided to try and find Tonberry to let him know what had happened to his droid.

Shin: So where do you want me to take this gear?
Cactuar: No need, i can fix it here.

Cactuar walked thru the opened the door and turned right down the hallway, disappearing out of sight, then almost instantly re-appearing, tool kit and sensors in hand.

He walked over to the G-Chamber and began pacing around the outside, inspecting panels and displays.

Cactuar: Not good at all...

Cactuar entered the chamber through a hole where the door once resided, and opened a panel on the back of the main computer.

Sabirsing quietly took out her staff, and drew the sharpened point across her wrist. Bright blue blood oozed up, then caked over. Tornait watched her eyes....they remained calm. But her lips tightened and she bit down hard.

Her eyes flickered red, then went back to silver. The hawk looked at her again. She was completely calm, mouth relaxed.

Tornait: Did it hurt?

Sabir: No, not my wrist anyways. The force of mind is there, but it hurts me.
