Well, I just got finished checkin this thing out on Encore Action(which is beginnin to show a good bit of anime on there. They've been showin atleast 3 episodes of Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 every Friday night, and now they're showing this. And lets not forget about Tekken: The Movie that they've pretty much been showing on a regular basis aswell.)and I must say that this was a pretty good mini series. The action in it was simply awesome. The story was pretty lovely to. It felt somewhat like watchin a female version of Cowboy Bebop, except they werent in space. Like a Law and Order type show or somethin.

But if you have Encore Action, and you missed it today, then it'll be on again the following days and times....

Credit goes to http://www.animeontv.com/myStations.php3 for the days and times.

But for those of you that did already get to see it, what were your thoughts on it?

It's a mini-series? I don't think that's right...

I haven't watched this series, and I've never really been compelled to go out and find it. But it seems I've caught an episode or two on the Action Channel back when I had cable. I don't remember liking it...

I think there's more, they just haven't shown it.

In terms of anime, Action Channel has shown...

episodes of Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo
the aforementioned three episode Gun Smith Cats story
X (which TMC and Showtime Beyond have been showing too)
Tekken: The Motion Picture
Twilight of the Dark Master
Brave Grappler Baki
Queen Emeraldas (or somethin' like that)
Metropolis
Akira
Ghost in the Shell
Bio-Hunter
And I'm sure I've forgotten something...

I've seen it a couple times on the action channel, I like it very much. May is my favorite, with all her traps and bombs, shes great. I liked that last fight on the last part/epp, it was great.

Other anime seen on the a.c. before:
Blue Seed
Akira
Princess Monanoke
Shadow Skill
Patlabor 2:The Movie
Black Magic M 66
Demon City Shinjuku
Ghost in the Shell
3x3 Eyes
X
Grappler Baki
and a lot more that I cant remember right now. Whenever they show anime, its good anime. Just wish it were more often and they always show anime in the early am's. That sucks.

Oh, something else I just remembered...

I believe (and for the love of God correct me if I'm wrong) there was a previous series. If focused mostly on Rally (though she went by a different name), and it may have introduced May early on as an enemy. Rally was more of a background charachter, though. I have no friggin' clue what the name was, and if someone knows, please tell me. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to dig through all my magazines tonight to try and find it!

YAY!!!!!!!
Now I remember the name!!!!!!
I was watching it last Saturday on the Action Channel.
I watched the first 2 episodes and then my dad changed the channel.
I really like the show. First one I've ever seen take place in America, let alone all the cars and stuff. Really cool show.
But that day I had the Stomach Flu and I was puking my guts out so I hardly remember any of the show.......0_o
Still, great show. If the Action Channel shows it again, I'll be sure to watch it.

Everyone always gives it so much praise, but it never seemed all that great. I've hard a ton of good reviews, but it's not that great, in my opinion...

It's cool it takes place in America though..^_^

I don't get that channel, but somehow I've seen GC anyway..
