[I]Iron chained his scooter to the fence at the ACDC school. He hated riding in a car with his bodyguards, so he had gone out the window to avoid them. He walked into the classroom and saw his friend, Yukio Tanaka. He walked over and sat down next to him.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Hey, Yukio! How's it going?"[/COLOR]

[I]Yukio looked over at Iron.[/I]

[COLOR=red][B]Yukio:[/B] "Oh, hey Iron. I've been doing pretty good. So what have you been doing?"[/COLOR]

[I]Iron folded his arms.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Well, I'm starting up my own group of netbattlers, called 'Deep Blue'. I've already bought the building, equipment, and I had the logo designed."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red][B]Yukio:[/B] "Sounds cool. But why the name, 'Deep Blue'? What does it mean?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "I don't know exactly what it means, I think it might have been the first computer or something. I just thought it sounded cool."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red][B]Yukio:[/B] "Oh, okay. So how many members do you have?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Not very many at all yet, I'm going to get my Alicense so I can go to Yumland and recruit some foreign netbattlers. You should join too, it doesn't matter what license you have."[/COLOR]

[I]Yukio sighed.[/I]

[COLOR=red][B]Yukio:[/B] "I would but my navi got deleted. I need to get a custom one."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "I'm sorry to hear that...where are you going to get another one?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red][B]Yukio:[/B] "I'm not sure. I'll probably try to get someone to post a message at the square for me."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Hey, I can have Magnetman post a message for you."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red][B]Yukio:[/B] "You will? Thanks, Iron. But wait, wasn't Magnetman banned from the net?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "No, he wasn't. The officials realized that it wasn't really his fault as much as it was my grandfather's."[/COLOR]

[I]The school bell rang and the teacher walked up to her desk.[/I]

[B]Teacher:[/B] "Quiet please. If everyone is ready we will now start the 'virus busting' lesson."

[I]The teacher looked around at the students and noticed an empty desk.[/I]

[B]Teacher:[/B] "Where's Nick? Does anyone know where Nick is?"

[I]A boy raised his hand.[/I]

[B]Teacher:[/B] "Yes, Hideki?"

[B]Hideki:[/B] "Ms. Mari, maybe he disappeared like all of those other people?"

[I]The teacher shook her head.[/I]

[B]Ms. Mari:[/B] "No, I'm sure he's fine. Lets get on with virus busting. We'll just cover the basics today, everyone jack in."

[I]Ms. Mari and the students jacked in their navis.[/I]

[B]Teacher's Navi:[/B] "I'm loading up the mettaur data. I'll explain as you start.
First, you have to send a chip to your navi. You can send more than one chip if it's the same kind or it has the same chip code.
You'll see an example of chip code in the next test."

[I]All of the students defeated the virii[/I]

[B]Teacher's Navi:[/B] "Very good, class. Now you will probably notice that not all of your chips are weapons. You now have an
'AreaGrab' chip. It has the same code as the WideSword. WideSword is a limited range attack, but if you use AreaGrab first, you
will steal a column from the enemy, giving you four columns and allowing you to get closer. After you have killed the first 2
mettaurs, you will notice that there is one more at the very back. Dodge and use your buster to attack this one, until your
custom meter fills up and you can choose new chips. If you do not have the chips you want, select as many as possible and choose
'add'. You will get more chips next turn."

[I]Soon, class was over and the students started talking to each other.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Come by my house later, Yukio and I'll show you the building and the Square that I bought for Deep Blue."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red][B]Yukio:[/B] "Okay."[/COLOR]

[I]The bell rang, and it wasn't long before there was a stampede of kids rushing out. After the chaos calmed down, a boy slowly walked out. He sighed and held up his PET.[/I]

[B]Shane:[/B] Rampage...

[I]The PETs screen slowly lit up, and after a few seconds of jumbled pixels a dark figure was visible.[/I]

[B]Rampage:[/B] ...What?

[B]Shane:[/B] I'm bored. Do something.

[I]Rampage screwed his face up and stared at Shane.[/I]

[B]Rampage:[/B] Like what? :confused:

[B]Shane:[/B] I don't know! Anything!

[I]Once again, Rampage stared at Shane. He then sighed and disappeared off the screen.[/I]

[B]Rampage:[/B] I'll go check your e-mail.

[I]A few seconds passed, then Rampage returned, holding an envelope.[/I]

[B]Rampage:[/B] It's off someone in your class.

[I]Shane stopped walking and scratched his head.[/I]

[B]Shane:[/B] Hm? I don't get e-mails off my classmates...They hardly even know me! :therock: Rampage, open it.

[I]The screen grew brighter, as a block of text popped up.[/I]

[B]Shane:[/B] Lesse..."hey Shane, u kno y Nick wasnt in class today? i think he disappeared! ive sent every1 else a copy of this email. try n find sum info, k? this is getting serious someone needs to solve this thing soon or were all gonna disappear! from hideki"

[B]Rampage:[/B] He sounds pretty worried.

[B]Shane:[/B] Got that right.

[I]Shane rolled his eyes and carried on walking.[/I]

[B]Shane:[/B] Just ignore it. He always worries about stuff. Anyway, we're home.

[I]The door creaked open as he walked in. The house was silent.[/I]

[B]Shane:[/B] Hey mum, I'm home!

[I]No answer.[/I]

[B]Shane:[/B] ...Guess she must be out. You know what that means, Rampage? :D

[I]Rampage gave a weak smile.[/I]

[B]Rampage:[/B] Oooh. I don't know. Maybe...Gamecube? :rolleyes:

[B]Shane:[/B] Yup!

[I]He darted up the stairs and into his bedroom then jumped onto his bed, put his PET down and clutched the controller in his hands.[/I]

[B]Shane:[/B] GamecubeGamecubeGamecube! Guess what I'm playing!

[I]Once again Rampage smiled weakly.[/I]

[B]Rampage:[/B] Ohhh...I simply have NO idea. :rolleyes: Super Smash Bro's Melee, perhaps?

[I]Shane grinned and lept into the air.[/I]

Misao quickly ran out of ACDC school with her long blue hair blowing in the wind. She sighed,

[i]"Another day of school... completed."[/i]

She smiled and looked around, kids were talking with one and other if they weren't going home. She spotted her friend, Akimara, or Aki as Misao called her. She walked over to her and smiled,

[i]"Sup', Aki?"[/i]

She said to Aki,

[i]"sigh... Hi Misao..."[/i]

She said sadly and quietly, looking at Misao with her big, green eyes.

[i]"Erm... Whats the matter, Aki?"[/i]

Misao asked confusedly(sp) lening her head on one said so her Burea' almost slipped of her head. But Aki simply shook her head and walked away. Misao sighed. Aki was having one of her nervous breakdowns again. She rumaged through her yellow backpack with the keychain of her favorite cartoon character, Spongebob Square pants dangling of the zipper. With a loud

She brought out her PET and the image of Roll, her Navi, grinned up at her.

[i]"Hiya, Misao."[/i]

[i]"Hi, Roll. Any new E-mails?"[/i]

Roll thought for a second, then walked off screen. Then, on coming back,she was holding an envolope,

[i]"Its from your friend, Hideki from class,"[/i]

Roll said as the text box appeared over the screen,

[i]"hey, misao.u kno y Nick wasnt in class today? i think he disappeared! ive sent every1 else a copy of this email. try n find sum info, k? this is getting serious someone needs to solve this thing soon or were all gonna disappear! from hideki"[/i]

Misao read slowly off the screen.

[i]"He's probably just sick today is all."[/i]

Misao said hopefully,

[i]"I'll jack you in when we ge- Oh, DANG! I've got to babysit Misai today! Mom's going to kill me!"[/i]

She quickly threw her PET in her bag and ran as fast as she could to her bike. Fumbling with the chain that bound it to the fence, she finaly unhooked it and jumped on the bike, racing down the street home. Within a few minutes, she reached the small-but-cozy white house, threw her bike on the lawn and walked inside...to find her mother waiting by the door.

[i]"WHAT TOOK YOU!? Well, anyways,"[/i]

Her mother shouted,

[i]"I need to go right now. Order Pizza or something, put your brother to bed at around 8:30. Love you, bye!"[/i]

She kissed her daughter on the cheek and walked out side to her car, quickly driving away. Misao slammed the door behind her, took her PET out of her backpack then threw it on the ground. She truged upstairs into her room. Her brother, Misai was sitting on her bed with his PET, talking with his Navi, Cutman.

[i]"What're think your doing in my room, shrimp?"[/i]

Misai looked up to his older sister and stuck his tiny tounge at her tauntingly,

[i]"Mom said I could Netbattle you if you called me shrimp again, Misao"[/i]

[i]"No she didn't"[/i]

Misao added dully.

[i]"SO! I can if I want! Cutman can kick your 'Girly Navi' anytime!"[/i]

Misao raised her eyebrow and smirked,

[i]"You only have three chips, all minor defense chips. Chips that I gave you, actually. Now if you dont leave, you're banned from the T.V. for the whole night, AND you wont get any pizza tonight."[/i]

Misai's brown eyes went wide and he dashed out of the room. Misao Nodded victoriously and collapsed on the bed.

[i]"So Cutman thinks he can kick my but, eh?"[/i]

Said Roll annoyed. But stopped when an earspliting scream was heard from downstairs. Then complete silence. The T.V. was off... Misai was not making any noise. Misao sat up and grabbed her PET and dashed downstairs. On the couch, were Misai would sit, was empty. Only his blinking PET was there. Misao's eyes filled up with tears as she realised, her brother, like so many others she heard about on TV, was gone.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

Somewhere in town Geoff was walking around, obviously not trying to get to a certain place.

[B]Geoff[/B]: ...

Then a voice could be heard from the PET in his hand.

[B]Ryo[/B]: Something troubling you Geoff?

[B]Geoff[/B]: No ... of course not, you know I don't keep secrets from you.

Geoff pulled the PET to his face so he could see Ryo. Ryo eyed Geoff suspiciously, but didn't say anything.

[B]Geoff[/B]: It's just hard to try to act like a normal person when you don't go to school, you have no home, and both of these things at the age of fourteen. Sometimes I wonder what life would've been like if my parents didn't die.

Ryo didn't want to bring Geoff to think about that again, so he stayed in silence until Geoff sat down on a near porch to rest his feet.

[B]Geoff[/B]: Walking all day isn't exactly the greatest way to live my life though.

[B]Ryo[/B]: How long has it been like this anyways? You know, the days that start with us walking, and end with us walking?

Geoff shrugged, he knew, but he didn't feel like answering.

[B]Ryo[/B]: Well I think we've rested enough-

[B]Geoff[/B]: We? You just sit inside that thing.

[B]Ryo[/B]: That's not true! Sometimes I need to rest so I can think.

[B]Geoff[/B]: Does it hurt?

[B]Ryo[/B]: I should've seen that coming.

[i]Lan skated out of the school with his backpack slung on one shoulder, he always hated it when the teacher gave him such simple virus busting assignments, didn't she remeber? He was the one who saved the world twice! Oh well, this extra homework kept megaman in shape.[/i]

Lan: Hey, Megaman.

[i]The little screen flickered on and megaman appeared with an envelope in hand.[/i]

Megaman: You have some mail. Its from someone named Hideki. About one of your friends named Nick, he's disappeared, like all the others.

Lan: I know, once we get home we're getting on the net and doing some investigating, I can't believe this is happening.

Megaman: Me too.

[i]Lan approached his house, once he was inside he kicked off his shoes and walked up the stairs and to his room.[/i]

Lan: Okay! Megaman jack in!

[i]After a few minutes of downloading Megaman landed in Lan's computer on one knee, he stood up and brushed himself off and proceeded to enter the net from there. For some reason it seemed unusually quiet. He armed his buster and headed for the square with the upmost of caution.[/i]

Megaman: Lan? Lan. You there? Come on... Answer me!

Lan: Huh? Oh sorry, i ran down to the kitchen to get something to drink.

Megaman: Well don't do it again! You had me scared!

Lan: Oh sorry, you near the square yet?

Megaman: Just entering it. Man! Its busy as heck here! I better check out what's going on here.

Lan: Okay, i'm gonna go see if mom's back yet. I'll be back.

Megaman: Okay.

[i]Lan stepped away from the computer and headed for the stairs, he hadn't seen his mom when he got home but just as he was going down the stairs he saw her sitting on the couch watching tv.[/i]

Lan: Hi mom! You're not cooking. How come?

Lan's Mom: I decided to calm down on the cooking for now. Plus i'm watching the cooking channel for some great recipes to try out.

Lan: Okay, i'm on the net with Megaman.

LM: Okay dear, just becareful.

Lan: Okay.

[i]Lan bounded up the stairs for the computer, just as he entered the room he heard Megaman yelling.[/i]

Megaman: Little problem here Lan! A really big virus just popped up! It looks like a fire element one!

Lan: Okay! Transform to WaterGuts form!

[i]There was bright light and then Megaman stepped out, he had just transformed into his WaterGuts form, he prepped his buster and charged a shot and fired! Thankfully this virus was a weak little thing.[/i]

Lan: Great job!

Megaman: Thanks..

Lan: Jack out..We're going to Yai's house.

Megaman: Okay.

[Geist]

[I]Iron and Yukio walked out of the school and grabbed their electric scooters.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "On second thought...let's just head to the building. I don't want a lecture right now."[/COLOR]

[I]Yukio nodded and they both went off to the metroline. A computer asked for their destination. Iron chose "Den town" and they both got a ticket. They reached the building in no time at all.[/I]

[COLOR=red][B]Yukio:[/B] "So this is it, huh? This is the Deep Blue central HQ?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Yep, this is it. Wanna come check out our net space?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red][B]Yukio:[/B] "Sure...hey, look at that."[/COLOR]

[I]Iron looked over to where Yukio was pointing. He saw a small, green building with two big glass windows. The sign on the building read:
"Higsby's Shop: Come and trade me your rare chips, huh."[/I]

[COLOR=red][B]Yukio:[/B] "I didn't know Mr. Higsby opened his shop again. Did you, Iron?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "No, I didn't either. Let's go check it out."[/COLOR]

[I]Iron and Yukio walked into the store, admiring the rows of chips as they came to the front counter.[/I]

[COLOR=darkred][B]Mr. Higsby:[/B] "Hi, Iron. Nice seeing you here. I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather, huh."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "It's okay. He made a mistake and now he's paying for it."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkred][B]Mr. Higsby:[/B] "Yeah, isn't that the truth. Anyways, the chip traders are broken right now, but as you can see, I have plenty of chips. So what can I do for you boys today, huh?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "I'd like two Areagrab A's please."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkred][B]Mr. Higsby:[/B] "Gotcha. You like to get in close, huh?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "No, actually I like to attack from a distance. I just want to make sure they don't come too close."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkred][B]Mr. Higsby:[/B] "Oh, then you might be interested in the PanlOut3 I got in. It cracks three panels in front, stopping any ground attacks from getting through; plus, it's the same code as
those Areagrabs, huh."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Really? Cool, I'll take all three of them."[/COLOR]

[I]Mr. Higsby rang it up, and Iron turned to his friend.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Yukio, you want anything?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red][B]Yukio:[/B] "I can't. Remember?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkred][B]Mr. Higsby:[/B] "Sure, right over there. Almost as good as a direct connection, huh."[/COLOR]

[I]Iron walked over and Jacked in Magnetman.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Magnetman, head over to the Square, we're going to post a message for Yukio."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][B]Magnetman:[/B] "Alright, Iron."[/COLOR]

[I]MagnetMan went to the square and checked the street board.[/I]

[COLOR=darkblue][B]Magnetman:[/B] "Iron, there are a couple of new posts. Should I open them?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Yeah. Go ahead, Magnetman."[/COLOR]

[I]Magnetman opened up the first new post. It read:

Kiddo: Strange navis?

"Has anyone else heard
the rumor of strange navis
walking around the net?
I'm not sure what they
look like or where they
come from, but I heard
that they were related
to all the disappearances
that have been happening

He then opened the second one.

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Those were pretty strange...Post the message and we'll get out of here, Magnetman."[/COLOR]

[I]Magnetman tried to create a new post, but nothing happened. He tried it again, and it still didn't work.[/I]

[COLOR=darkblue][B]Magnetman:[/B] "Iron, it's not working. I can't make a new post. Uh-oh."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "What? What is it Magnetman?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][B]Magnetman:[/B] "Viruses. Two Tuffbunnies."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Here, I'll send some chips."[/COLOR]

[I]Iron sent two M-cannons to his navi. Magnetman dodged the tuffbunnies' attacks and then deleted both of them. Iron jacked him out
after the battle.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "I'm sorry, Yukio. We won't be able to post your message now."[/COLOR]

[i]After Jacking out Lan and Megaman walked over to Yai's house, once he entered he saw a couple of his friends: Yai (of course), Mayl, and Dex. All three of them were sitting around a table in Yai's room watching the T.V.[/i]

Lan: What's going on?

Mayl: Another kid disappeared, this time it was in this town.

Lan: You're kidding me! Of all places! Well i'm gonna check up on this. Just stay here. I'm gonna go check this out on the square.

Yai: Just stay here and use my PC.

Lan: Okay, thanks. Megaman Jack in!

[i]Megaman once again returned to the world wide web. "Got to get to the square." He dashed off down the oddly shaped path in Yai's computer.[/i]

Megaman: Tell Yai she needs to quit screwing around with her PC! Its getting annoying navigating on this stupid maze.

Lan: Always the one to complain aren't you?

Megaman: NO! You're the one who always complaining when you have to do homework. Oh never mind! I see the acess port to the regular net. I'm entering.

[i]Megaman stepped into the access port but was blocked off from the rest of the net by a code cube.[/i]

Lan: Yai! Can you give me you'r password?

Yai: Yes, here it is.

Lan: I'm processing this to you now Megaman.

Megaman: Okay. Processing, done! Okay i'm heading for the square. I'll talk to you as soon as i get there.

Lan: Well its gonna be a little hard to avoid that because i'll be sending you stuff for netbattles.

Megaman: Oh, right...I forgot. Heh. Okay.

[i]Megaman set off for the square, on the cautious side of course. He soon was near the acess port to the square, after he stepped onto the port he was transported to the square.[/i]

Lan: Okay, first check out the boards.

Megaman: Alirght.

[i]Megaman walks past the various navis and into the board room and started looking at some various posts.[/i]

Megaman: Good lord! This place is getting some weird people on.

Lan: Whaddya mean?

Megaman: Well there are a few posts about some weird mumbojumbo from a bunch of strange odd people.

Lan: Oh, okay. Well becareful. How about you jack out. We're gonna go do some investigating.

Megaman: Fine with me.

[Boo]

OOC: Ive done a lil piece of MMBN2 so I know bou square and stuff.

Aerow: Yeah. Thanks Phoenix. I wander who's it from?"

Phoenix: Its about the missing kids... Seems someone else is missing as well.

Aerow: Lets just look if someone posted anything about it.

[I]Aerow walks to his PC and jacks in. The first thing Megaman sees is two mets.[/I]

Phoenix: Hah! Dont make me laugh!

Aerow: Take the Gutspunch, Icepunch and Dash. Let them stand behind eachother and delete'm.

Phoenix: Couldnt've done it better!

[I]Aerow uploads the chips to Phoenix and the chips transform to one. As soon as the two little mets stands behind eachother he uses the chip and the two are deleted.[/I]

Phoenix: Now to the square.

[I]They end up at the square and go to the message boards.[/I]

Phoenix: Strange navies huh? We can take'm. More....Glitch [un interesting]..... I cant even post. Must've been a Virus. Oh well.

Aerow: Lets search for something else then. Maybe higsby opened his shop?

[I]Phoenix jacks out and they go to the metroline. As they came in Dentown, they walk around for a while and then Aerow turns in an other street. Coming there, they see a green house with two big glasses.[/I]

Aerow: Its back allright. Hope he has some good chips.

[I]As they walk in they dont see Higsby behind the counter. Aerow goes to the counter and leans on it.[/I]

Aerow: Anyone there?

Phoenix: Maybe hes just in the back?

Aerow: Ill go see.

[I]They open the counter and go the back. There is Higsby... With two others.[/I]

Higsby: O hi Aerow.

Aerow: Got any new chips? And hi to you too eh... whats your names anyways?

OOC: I forgot that the squares weren't in MMBN. (The Square is like a little meeting place for navis. They can buy things from netdealers, talk to other navis, and post messages at the different boards.)

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Oh yeah, you go to our school, don't you? Do you want to join my group of netbattlers, Aerow?"[/COLOR]

[I]Iron handed him a card.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Well here's the card for my center, it has my e-mail address on it. The name of the group is 'Deep Blue'. E-mail me if you want to join. See ya later.[/COLOR]

[I]Iron and Yukio left the store and walked across the street to the Deep Blue center.[/I]

[COLOR=red][B]Yukio:[/B] "So, Iron? What are we going to do about the message? Can we just post it at your Square?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Yeah, we could just post it at Blue Square, but it wouldn't get as much attention as it would at the other Square. But I think there might be an item we could use to fix
the posting problem, so don't worry about it."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red][B]Yukio:[/B] "Okay."[/COLOR]

[b]Geoff[/b]: Greetings navi operators, I'm sure you all know about the disapearences. I'm not exactly sure what is going on, if you know one of the people who disapeared, or you know something about the disapearences, then answer back. You got that Ryo?

[b]Ryo[/b]: Yep, so who do you want to send it to.

[b]Geoff[/b]: Send it to the best of the net battlers of the town. One of them has to know something.

[b]Ryo[/b]: Okay.

Ryo goes off to deliver the e-mails. Geoff decided to sit down on a bench.

[b]Geoff[/b]: I hope something comes out of this. I've been board out of my mind for months.

He then looked up at the store next to him, and saw someone go in.

[b]Geoff[/b]: Man, this place must have good buisness with all these costumers.

Sasuke's computer hasn't been working for a week now, and he was getting upset. He was walking down the street to Higby's store to get some chips for his collection.

Sasuke: Man, I hope my computer can be fixed soon.

Then he remembered the last time he was online......

Sasuke: GATEMAN!!

Gateman's face appeared on Sasuke's PET.

Gateman: Huh? Sasuke, you seem a bit upset...

Sasuke: Of course i'm upset, you didn't happen to get a virus while downloading that battle emulator to my com puter did you?

Gateman: No way! You know i always check every file for viruses before I start downloading..

Sasuke: Well I hope I figure it out soon, cause we haven't Netbattled in a while and i'm gonna get real upset if my computer stops working.

Gatemon: How about I re-check it the next time you try to log on again?

Sasuke: Thanks gateman, you're a real pal.

Sasuke finally makes it to "Higsby's" and sees some other kids his age talking about their chips and previous battles. sasuke goes over to see what they're talking about.

Misao stared in shock at the beeping PET, and very slowly, moving her shaking legs to the PET. Cutman was yelling about where Misai was. Misao shook her head and swore to herself.

[i]"Roll. We are going to Higsby's to get new chips. Whoever took my brother will pay in a battle."[/i]

Misao said shakily, turning off Misai's PET.

[i]"Right."[/i]

Roll noded as Misao slipped her laptop into her backpack with her chips. She dashed out the door with her PET in one hand, the other clenched in a fist as fast as her legs could carry her. Finally, the sign "Higsby's Shop: Come and trade me your rare chips, huh." and the green building with two windows came into view. With one push she dashed inside to the counter. A few other kids her age stared at her awkwardly

[i]"Oh, Misao. Welcome. I have your chips you ordered, huh?"[/i]

Higsby took out a small box from the counter and handed it to Misao as she handed him some money. She tunred around to leave, when she saw the kids, some of them from her class.

[i]"Whats the matter Misao, you look...upset"[/i]

Asked Iron. Misao's voice shook as she spoke

[i]"My brother,"[/i]

She mumbled,

[i]"He's... gone."[/i]

Sasuke looked startled,

[i]"You mean... like those kids on TV?"[/i]

Aerow asked, confused. Misao nodded and turned to leave,

[i]"I'm going to go find the person who did it. I dont care if it takes me forever. But i'll do it."[/i]

She nodded to the kids and walked out the door,

[i]"Wait, Misao."[/i]

[b]Geoff[/b]: Huh? Oh yeah, okay.

[b]Ryo[/b]: What are you thinking about.

[b]Geoff[/b]: Well, if that store sells chips, then those people that went in must be net battlers. I'm sure there has to be someone in there that can help.

Geoff walked into the building that read "Higsby's Shop: Come and trade me your rare chips, huh."

When he entered he immediatly saw a group of people.

[b]Geoff[/b]: Uh... do any of you know anything about the disappearences?

OOC: I meant that I knew about the Square cause I had MMBN2 as a Rom ^^' thanks anyways :)

Aerow: O. Hi. Yeah. I heared about the dissapearences but there were no messages at the Square and posting didnt work either... Anyways: im Aerow.

Geoff: Hi. Im Geoff.

Higsby: Well Geoff. Here to buy some chips, huh?

Phoenix: Lets go to that 'Deep Blue' thingy. Maybe they know more about it.

Aerow: yeah. Well see ya Higsb! you too Geoff.

higsby: yeah, bye, huh!

Geoff: See you later.

[I]They leave the shop and go to the adress, written on the card. When they reach the building, Aerow turns around, as a boy tabs him on the shoulder.[/I]

Boy: hey Aerow!

Aerow: hey Zappy!

Zappy: Dont call me like that! Im here for a rematch of last year!

Aerow: Allright!

Zappy: Elecman! Zap'm!

Phoenix: Bring it on!

[I]The battle begins and they both choose their battlechips.[/I]

Aerow: Skullman3... yeah.

Phoenix: Allright!

Elecman: You wont make it with just skullman!

Zappy: thunder2 and zapring2!

Elecman: Chips received!

Phoenix: It begins!

[I]Elecman starts with his thunder2. phoenix keeps dodging it, but when he got too close to Elecman he got zapped by the zapring2. He steps one step back which costs him HP. he then uses the skullman3 chip. Skullman appears and shoots off his head, letting it land on Elecmans head. Right after Elecman recovered the hit, Phoenix started hitting him with his booster. Then their goug's got full again and they prepared the next attack.[/I]

Aerow: Allright! 2 M-cannons!

Zappy: Use this Aquatower!

[I]the next round started and Phoenix blasted off his first m-Cannon. It was a direct hitter! Elecman moved up and used his Aguatower. Phoenix dodged it, but then elecman moved up, so so did the water. Phoenix couldnt dodge it because he had too little space. But also, Elecman moving up, got Phoenix the chance to hit him again with his M-Cannon. He shot and.... Hitted! After just five more times shooting with his buster, he defeated Elecman.[/I]

Zappy: No! Not again!

Elecman: Argh!

Aerow: you should've letting him use his own technics. Not Chips. hes stronger that way.

Zappy: thanks for the advice. We'll meet again and then im not planning on loosing!

Aerow: We're not either. Right Phoenix?

Phoenix: Got that right.

Zappy: Bye!

Aerow: yeah, bye!

Phoenix: Now lets go inside teh building!

Sasuke felt a bit sorry about what happened to Misao's brother. He watched her walk out the door and go down the street.

Higsby: Oh! Sasuke, I have your new shipment of chips.

Sasuke: Wow, thanx Mr. Higsby.

Sasuke recieved a new Hi-Cannon R, Numberman v2, and a Zeus-Cannon. Sasuke left the shop to catch up with Misao.

Sasuke: She sure does walk fast....

Gateman: Well maybe you're just too slow.

Sasuke: No time for jokes now Gateman, I gotta find Misao. I hope she's alright...

Sasuke runs around the corner and finally sees Misao walking up the sidewalk.

Sasuke: Hey Misao! Wait up!!

OOC: Your welcome. I was just trying to explain it to everyone else.

[I]A blue-haired kid walked up to Iron, and tapped him on the shoulder.[/I]

[COLOR=red][B]Blue-haired boy:[/B] "Hey, Iron. A guy is here to see you; he has one of your cards, says his name is Aerow."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Okay, Kly. Send him in. I'll give him the tour."[/COLOR]

[I]Kly walked out of the room and brought back Aerow.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Hey Aerow. I'll take you on the tour and then you can tell me if you want to join Deep Blue, okay?"[/COLOR]

[I]Iron started the by showing the research lab, the server room, the soon-to-be-opened testing room, and the square, where his navi was able to jack in and post a message on the boards.[/I]

[I]After a few hours of playing, Shane finally jacked Rampage into the internet.[/I]

[I]Suddenly, Shane recieved another e-mail. He slowly picked up his PET and read it. It said "hey shane its me hideki agin did u find nething bout the dispaperances lol i cna not spell. newayz lke i sed plz emial me bck about nething u find. kthxbye.". He took a deep sigh and started to type in a reply. After a few minutes he was done, and sent Hideki an e-mail saying "Hideki, quit whining. How the hell should I know anything about it? Haven't you even bothered to check the Square yet, you lazyass. I'm no master hacker, I'm just an ordinary kid like you. In other words, your guess is as good as mine. I'll try and find some info as long as you shut up, ok?"[/I]

[B]Shane:[/B] *******.

[B]Rampage:[/B] You done?

[B]Shane:[/B] Yeah. It was just Hideki whining about me not doing anything. I'm guessing the reply he got from me is just about the same as what he got from everyone else. I'll bet he's just doing it for the attention. But what the hell, let's go find some info anyway. It's not like we've got anything better to do.

[B]Rampage:[/B] "Find some info"...As in "Hackyhackyhacky!"?

[B]Shane:[/B] Hell yeah! ^.^

[I]Shane stood up and closed his curtains then turned off the lights and sat back down at his PC. He then recorded a message saying "Sorry, Shane's not here right now. If it's Hideki, piss off. I'm doing it. If it's somebody else, please lave a message after the beep.[/I]

[B]Shane:[/B] Right, let's go.

[I]Rampage entered the square and looked around. Only a few Navis were there, and it didn't look like they were doing much. He glanced at the boards, but there was nothing interesting besides a certain post that caught his eye. It was posted by an annoymous member, the subject being "Glitch". He carried on reading, then grabbed a nearby Navi.[/I]

[B]Rampage:[/B] Hey, what do you know about this "Glitch" stuff?

[B]Random Navi:[/B] W-who me? Er...Not much really. I heard something about new Navis and Humans...But that's about it really. I don't mind that much. My owner only uses me as a diary and someone to talk to, so I don't think she'll disappear. I hear it only happens when people have their PET plugged into an electrical device. And she only lets me go here to talk my friends every now and then.

[B]Rampage:[/B] ...New Navis and humans...?

[I]A few more Navis walked over, and leaned over his shoulder. They started whispering to each other as Rampage looked at them suspiciously.[/I]

[B]Rampage:[/B] What are you whispering about?

[I]They gave each other nervous glances then turned back to Rampage.[/I]

[B]Navi #3:[/B] Er...We uh...I think I've seen you before...Y-you were breaking into-

[I]In an instant Rampage fired up his Laser Sword chip and slashed off the Navi's head, then used his Meteor chip to bring 5 meteors crashing down, instantly deleting any other Navi in the area...[/I]

[B]Rampage:[/B] Shane, log me out before the security gets here. Noone can know about this.

[B]Shane:[/B] I'm on it.

[I]He quickly inserted Rampage back into the PET and unplugged it, then sighed a long, deep sigh.[/I]

[B]Shane:[/B] Rampage...What's gonna happen if someone finds out, here in real life? I can't slash peoples heads off with lasers like you can. The police are gonna get suspicious about all these disappearances, and they're probably gonna start bumping up the security round this place. You know what that would mean?

[B]Rampage:[/B] Jail for you, hundreds of police drones for me.

[B]Shane:[/B] Exactly. Let's go see Higsby. Maybe he has some rare chips. And it shouldn't be too hard to get some extra cash, heh heh heh...

Phoenix: Nothing to lose. the name doesnt fit me, but... hehe.

Iron: then thats settled.

Aerow: I need chips. i forget to ask higsb bout it.

[b]Ryo[/b]: I don't know, no one seems to be able to help.

[b]Geoff[/b]: Don't remind me. No human ever helps. It's like this Ryo, Humans, are, bad. I can never meet a single good human.

[b]Ryo[/b]: Maybe you havn't looked hard enough?

[b]Geoff[/b]: Whatever...

Ryo stayed quiet after that. He wanted to say humans aren't bad, but, next to Geoff, he has never seen another good human.

Geoff walked to the Deep Blue central HQ.

Megaman: Not so fast, i just got a message. Seems like there is a kid named Iron walking around, you should go talk with him.

Aerow: I just got out the Deep Blue center and the next one hops in. hehe. Ever heard anything off Lan the past few days? I havent talked to him in ages man.

Phoenix: Ill just send him email. what do you want to say?

[I]Aerow gives Phoenix a letter and Phoenix dissapears from the screen a moment. Then he reappears and reports that the letter is sent.[/I]

Aerow: Ok. Then I hope he replies soon.

[I]After a while, they enter higsby's. They walk over to Higsby and he welcomes them:[/I]

Higsby: hi, huh!

Aerow: Got some cool chips?

Higsby: eh.... what kinda? offensive/defensive/healing... huh?

Aerow: offensive please.

Higsby: .... I dont know.... Not so quickly a chip that would satisfy you. i know you enought for that, huh.

Aerow: too bad. Well phoenix. lets do sumfin.

[I]They walk out of the shop after saying goodbye and then they walk in the train's dircetion.[/I]

[i]Lan looked over the letter, it was just a letter asking how he was etc. Lan looked it over again and then decided to head for the train, he bought a ticket the part of town so he could visit his dad. After buying the ticket Lan stepped on the train and was soon off towards his dad's workplace.[/i][/COLOR]
