Guest QuickSilver
I have just seen an advert on CNX (for those of you in the UK) and it seems that the last episodes of the series are 'coming soon' and i aint sure how soon that is but i cant wait. I aint sure when they are going to be aired in America but if we finish it off before you do then 'haha' anyway, the sooner that DBZ is over the sooner they can get on with GT. Sniglefager
in the U.S., DBGT is coming this year, or so says my inatruction booklet for DBZ Budokai. I am looking forward to the last episodes, though. There's only like 10 left to go, right? Why didn't they just show them right away?
Manic Webb
They were taking advantage of the fans. You were forced to wait another couple of months before you can see the last dozen episodes of the series, and Funimation was hoping that you'd get impatient enough to go out and buy the last few episodes on VHS or DVD. Just a ploy to increase sales. I was so upset that they re-ran the episodes without finishing that I just stopped watching Dragonball altogether. I even stopped watching DBGT (unsubtitled, Japanese) on the iChannel.
TheShinje
Well, if it is a marketing ploy, then it didn't work on me. :p I'm getting the lates episodes here (beginning of Buu saga) hired out. So FUNi get no money from me :D
Sniglefager
whoa, the ichannel? Is that on satellite? Cause I have digital cable, and I've been wondering what channel DBGT was on

Well, I still watched Dragonball until they began runnin the reruns(I'll watch it again once the Tienshinhan saga rebegins so I can record it this time.). But I rarely even watch Toonami now. Only good thing on is Armada, and they're runnin reruns of that until next Monday when they'll be showin 10 new eps of that straight. But hey, I did hear that they were gonna show the last few eps of DBZ in late February/early March, so we only have like a month or 2 left to wait...which is STILL dumb. -D-
heh. to the guy who was wondering about the i channel...if you have digital cable(time warner), your i-channel should be 75. dbgt airs every wednesday night @ 9 or 9:30, i forget. anyway, there you go, hope you enjoy it, it still has about thirty to forty something episodes left, if not more, i dont watch them anymore. oh, and has anyone else heard that cartoon network was going to get Trigun?rumor or truth?D
Manic Webb
The iChannel is also known as the International Channel. Your Digital Cable menu should list it as IC.
Sniglefager
ok, I don't know, but 75 for me is a totally different, crappy channel. I don't know why, but I'm guessing it's because you guys live in a different state. oh well, I'll just have to wait to watch the American version

But the only problem is that my cable was cut off last week, so i'm hoping i get it by tommorrow. I can't wait for Dragonball GT to be released in England, i'm tired of going on the net and downloading Dragonball GT clips.:smirk:
