o. i was having an idea similar krillen. Your char. should have one skill and the dragon the other. For example, Ryu has the power of thunder and Ragear has the power of Fire. get it? add the dragon's power to your stats and by the way, add your char. stats to your sig. so everyone knows what u r.

i'll give peeps time to help out this story. if they don't for a very long time, then u know what happens. anyways, i have drawn a quick sketch of Ragear!!! Some may notice he looks like Gyomon but that's who i based him on. check it out!

ShadowWing has asked me to start his part up in the story. Shadowwing is the evil guy who stole the Dragon Spirits.

Servant: Uh... Shadow Wing... sir...

Shadowwing: What is it?

Servant: The Dragon Spirits are becoming restless.

Shadow Wing: No really? Like I didn't know, Garo? Geeze. Sometimes I can think your the stupidest.

Garo: ...

Shadow Wing: Now get your sorry carcass moving and back to work!

Garo: Yes sir...

*Garo moved his sorry carcass back to back-breaking labor as Shadow Wing sat in his chair, thinking. Suddenly, a man named Green charges into the room.*

Green: Sir!

Shadow Wing: What is it now?

Green: I have just recieved news from the wise man!

Shadow Wing: Oh really? What is it?

Green: The wise man said that a band of warriors and dragons are destined to destroy you and get the dragon spirits back!!

Shadow Wing: And maybe the wise man has had too much ale every night. Thank you anyways for that kind of info though it will b no need to me since the Dragon Spirits' energy will soon make the ultimate power for me! HAHAHAA!

*Green backed up and ran, afraid of his master.*

Shadow Wing: Yes. Run. Soon, that will be what everyone's doing! Hahaha!

*Ryu shrugs his shoulders and sits down on the edge of the road and Ragear sniffs around the area.*

Ryu: Darn. Just when something good happens, a bad thing follows. What are you doing, Ragear?

Ragear: Me smellza something nummy!

*Ragear jumps up and runs*

Ryu: :eek: Ragear! Come back!

Silva: What's all that rucuss?

*Ryu turns to see Silva.*

Silva: Are you spying on us?

Ryu: Uhh... no! Never! :angel:

*Silva stares at him long and hard.*

Ryu: Uhh... heh heh. Gotta find Ragear! Bye!

*Ryu runs off down the road after Ragear.*

Silva: He's weird.

*Silva turns around and walks back to Shiva.

Later, Ryu finally tackles Ragear.*

Ryu: What do you think your doing!? Running loose out here! You could get hurt.

Ragear: Me smellza good stuffs!

*Ragear knocks Ryu off him gently and runs after the smell*

Ryu: Huh? *Sniff sniff* :tasty: I smell something good too! And I'm hungry! Wait up Ragear!

Cecil the young dragon tamer is flying on his dragon, A dragon named Afelra of the tunder dragon clan to be exact.

Cecil: Hem... you see anything intersting down there?

Aflelra: Yes i see a small town down there, shall i take you down?

Cecil: Yes... it has been a while since ive eaten, take me to a place with no people, dont want to hurt anyone.

Aflelra: Yes master.*He turns into a bolt of lighting and streaks down onto the small town strikes the ground and streak goes back up leaving Cecil on the ground.

Ryu::eek: :eek: How did you do that?

Ragear: Oww? Oww?

Cecil: Is that a dragon?

Ryu: Umm.. no he is my stuffed animal... got to go bye*Grabs Reaear and rushes off*

Cecil: I could have sworn that was a dragon oh well *Sniff* I smell something good!:tasty:

*Ryu ran around the corner*

Ryu: That was too close.

Ragear: Cwose!!

Ryu: Yeah. Now where is that smell coming from?

*Ragear takes a wiff of the smell again.*

Ragear: Me smellza foo' over there!

*Ragear points a claw*

Ryu: Right! Then let's go! We need a costume so u don't attract attention. Ah. Here we are!

*Ryu grabs some clothing from the alley and gives it to Ragear. Ragear dresses up and they enter the building. They walk up to the counter and sit down.*

Ryu: Man. Lost my home. This really bites.

Ragear: Rooie could live in me's box in ally.

Ryu: :rolleyes: Silly you, Ragear. I couldn't live in a box all my life. I guess... I guess we'll need to find another place.

Ragear: What wrong wit' box?

Ryu: Nothing but It's not good for humans to live in boxes.

Ragear: ?

Ryu: Nevermind. Umm.. sir, can we have something to eat.

Bartender: What'll ya have?

Ryu: Anything that can be bought with... *Ryu looks through his pockets.* Darn. I'm broke.

Ragear: Broke!

Ryu: Thanks for telling me, Ragear.

Bartender: Well kid, we don't serve free food so you better get going.

*Ryu and Ragear walk out into the ally just as Cecil walks into the food place they came from.*

Ryu: I am starving.

Ragear: Tummy empity.

Ryu: It's pronounced Emp-ty.

Ragear: Empity.

Ryu: I'm too hungry and tired to argue.

*The moon started to shine through the clouds as Ryu and Ragear made it back to Ragear's "box".*

Ryu: It may be a box, but it'll do for now.

*Ryu got into the box and immediately it busted.*

Ryu: Aww man...

*Ragear jumped up next to Ryu*

Ryu: Thanks buddy.

Ragear: Nighty night....

*Ryu gets up and stretches.*

Ryu: I was right. Boxes don't work for me. Huh?

*Ryu looks out into the streets just in time to see Silva running past.*

Ryu: Hey! Silva!

Silva: Can't talk now.

Ryu: Huh? That's odd. I wonder what's in that bag.

Ragear: I smellza foo'!

*Ragear takes off after Silva.*

Ryu: Oh no! Stop Ragear! Leave the food be!

*Just as he spoke those last words his tummy growls.*

Ryu: Hehehe :blush: well... maybe I [I]should[/I] follow him.

*Ryu runs after Ragear. They later find Silva giving Shiva food.*

Ryu: Aww. Ragear! :flaming: You led us to Silva's dragon. You can't eat their food! It's impolite! Huh? NO RAGEAR!

*Ragear charges at the bag of food and starts munching on some meat.*

Ragear: me likesa foo'.

Ryu: Umm.. I'm sorry Silva. Heh heh :blush: . It's hard to keep him under control.

Silva: Yeah. It's okay. There's enough for every- Huh?:eek:

Ryu: Man this meat [I]is[/I] good!

Ragear: Yah! Meat nummy!

Silva: I guess you guys haven't eaten yet.

Ryu: My house was annialated or something by some gang called the Shogun Gunery.

Silva: Man! They can be such pains.

Ryu: Yeah. Now I have no where to go.

Ragear: Mowhere's.

Ryu: Yeah.

Ragear: Don't worry, Rooie.

Silva: Haha! :laugh: Rooie!

Ryu: :cross: Yeah. I can't get him to call me Ryu.

Silva: Hey Ragear, can you call Ryu "Ryu" for me, please!?

Ragear: Ryu!

Ryu: Great! He did it! Thanks, Silva.

Ragear: Rooie Rooie!

Ryu: :cross: Aw... hey Silva...

Silva: Yeah?

Ryu: Might as well start calling me Rooie cause he's not going to call me by my real name.

*Ragear starts jumping up and down saying "Rooie Rooie!"

Amber: *walking beside Kazul in the country side*

Kazul; *stops lifting her long neck up into the air, sniffing the air*

Amber: what is it?

Kazul: dragons....

Amber: where?

Kazul: nearby.....more dragons....

Amber: lets go! *climbs onto Kazul's back*

Kazul: *nods and spreads her wings to a large span, flying up going towards the villages*

Ragear looks through the bag for anymore food, then contents himself with chewing on it. He hiccups, and the bag turns into ash.
"Well," Ryu shrugs, "so much for leftovers."
"Nowwy Rooie," Ragear moans. He scratches his ear, then looks at Ryu pitifully.
"That's all right, young one," Shiva says, picking Ragear up on her nose. He slides down her back and laughs, stretching his arms out.
"Lie! Lie!"
"What?"
"Wanta lie!"
"Ragear wants to tell fibs?" Ryu looks at Silva for help.
Silva giggles. "No, silly, Ragear wants to fly."
Ragear runs around in a circle, his arms out. "Lie! LIE!!"
Before anyone can do anything else, a dark shadow falls over all of them.
"Lie?" Ragear looks up. "Oo! Lie!"
A large dragon decends next to them, a girl astride it.
"Lie!" Ragear says again.
"Excuse me?" the girl, Amber, says.
"Lie!" Ragear says once more, as if this explains all.
"He wants to fly," Shiva told them.
"He's a little small, don't you think?"
"Hey!" Ryu says, "Don't make fun of Ragear! Back off!"
"Is that a challenge?" the dragon, Kazul, rumbles deeply.
"Uh...." Ryu looks panicky, and glances at Silva.
"Don't look at me," Silva says. "I'm just the girl with the Draaqua."
"Well....?" Kazul says.

Ryu: Well... umm... what do u think Ragear?

Ragear: Fight?

Ryu: Yeah. Fight. You wanna?

Ragear: Fight!

Ryu: Okay!

*Ryu turns back to Amber's dragon and looks at it's feirce eyes.*

Ryu: How about Go Fish instead.

Amber: Nu uh. You fight or not.
*Ryu looks at Silva for help once again. He puts on the puppy eyes that NOBODY can resist. Unfortunatly, Silva could.*

Silva: Not my fight, Ryu. Or should I say, Rooie.

Ryu: Aww... being called names and being challenged. Man! Hey Amber, I have never fought before so let's call it a draw.

Amber: Okay, but your boring.

*Amber walks away with her dragon leaving Ryu feeling odd and Silva laughing.*

Ryu: What's so funny now?

Silva: :laugh: Hahaha! Your boring!

Ragear: Hehe. Bowing!

Ryu: ...

Cecil: Hey! It's you again.

*Ryu turns to see Cecil once again.*

Ryu: Uh oh!

Cecil: Don't worry you two. I have a dragon also. He's just not around.

Ryu: That's a relief, huh Silva? Silva??

*Ryu turns to see she's gone again.[I]Why does she keep doing that? Is it me?[/I], Ryu thinks.*

Cecil: Hey! You listening.

*[I]I must find her![/I] and with that Ryu runs out of the area with Ragear tailing.*

Cecil: Huh?

*[I]She could be useful if she knows about the Dragonial. And she has a dragon so maybe she could teach me a little stuff about Ragear. Hmmm... I smell meatloaf.[/I] *

Ryu: Huh? What is it Ragear?

Ragear: Me sense Ilva!

Ryu: Ilva? You mean Silva? Good. Show me where.

*They run for hours until they finally stop infront of a house.*

Ryu: Aww man. This is her house. We can't go there.

Ragear: Why not?

Ryu: It's impolite and not right just to- Ah! No! Not again!

*Ragear runs right in the house. Ryu follows*

Ryu: Wha?

*Ryu notices, the place is like a palace from the inside.*

Ryu: Whoa! This place could hold a King's ransom.

Silva: What are you doing here.

Ryu: Huh?

*Ryu sees Silva coming down the stairs. She wears the usual clothing.*

Ryu: :blush: Umm.. Ragear led me here. That's why! Yeah! Ragear! Right Ragear? ... Ragear?

*Ryu ran into the dining room only to find Ragear doing... what else but DINING!*

Ryu: No no no! Bad Ragear. Listen, Silva. I'll pay you back I promise. Once I get money but right now I'm broke and no place to stay so I'll find somewhere to work and stay.

Silva: Don't be silly. You can stay here.

Oops. I can't believe I forgot to add my stats to this thing. I put them in my sig but not this thread. well, here's Ryu's stats:

An hour later, Ragear is still scarfing food down. Silva watchs him with a kind yet bewildered look on her face. She rests her head on one hand.
"Ragear?"
"Scmff mmm! Munch scff mm-mmm! Mmm scff yhhh?"
"Where'd you come from?"
"'Rum ousside."
"No no no, where did you [i]come[/i] from?"
"'Rum place in allee wit bozzes." Ragear chomps on a chicken wing.
"No, I mean, (Uh Ragear, that isn't cooked)..."
Ragear hiccups.
"Never mind."
"'Coose me." Ragear grins, a little smoke wreathing his small face.
"Where were you before the alley?"
"Huh?"
"Where did you live before the alley?"
"Dunno."
"Why all the questions?" Ryu butted in.
"I want to know stuff," Silva answered.
"Well, I do too. Like about Shiva. And this place. It's like...like...dang, it's no less than a palace!!"
"Would you take 'I'm just special' for an answer?"
"Not really."
Silva sighed. "It's really complicated."
"I've got time."
"That's nice," Silva smiled. "But I don't. And you really don't either, if you plan to get Ragear trained."
"For what?"
"The Dragonial."
"Ahowneeall?"
"How do you know about it?"
Shiva turned her gaze on Ryu. "The question is, how do [i]you[/i]?"
"I've got a dragon, doesn't that count?"
Silva massaged her temples. "Too many questions."
"And not enough answers."
"Too much has been said already," Shiva commented. "Now let the embrace of sleep wash over you and carry you away on its current of dreams."
Ryu and Ragear were asleep in an instant.

Late that night, Ryu sat up in his bed. He was in a quiet room. Nearby, a wrinkled puddle of a blanket showed where Ragear had been. The door to the room was slightly open, letting in moonlight...
...and the soft sound of someone singing. Ryu got up and crept to the door, peering out. The main hallway laid empty before him. He slipped out to follow the singing.
Several minutes later, he found himself on a terrace, overlooking a large garden. To his right was a water fountain; silvery in the moonlight, the water poured down in musical tones. But none so musical as the ones coming from Silva's mouth.
Shiva hung over her, her eyes closed in blissful peace; Ragear was also there, watching Silva intently.
"'Rettie."
"Yes, it is pretty."
The three jumped and stared at Ryu.
"Thank you," Silva stammered.
"Are there words to it too?"
"I-I can't remember them."
"It was a song from her childhood," Shiva explained. "She always comes out here to try to remember it."
"I kept thinking it had something important to tell me," Silva admitted. "And now, with the Dragonial..." She trailed off. "Oh, it's important more than ever now that I try to remember!"
"Yes, it is."
"Who's there!" Silva shouted. Shiva growled deeply. Ragear bared his teeth at the shadowy figure that stepped into view, and even Ryu felt uneasy.
"A friend."
"You're no friend!"
"Aw, that hurts. Really." The shadowy figure snapped his fingers.
And that's when Ryu's world turned upside down.

[Warlock]

[I]Warlock rides on his dragon, Predator over a group of large mountains.[/I]

Warlock: "Sure you can't put on any more speed."

Predator: "I'll try."

[I]Predator puts on speed, and within minutes they have left the mountains. Warlock starts to notice Predator starting to fall asleep.[/I]

Warlock: "Wake up! Predator!"

[I]Warlock looked ahead, and saw the main street of a town straight ahead. [/I]

Warlock: "EVERYONE GET OFF THE ROAD!!!"

[I]The ground came closer and closer. 20 metres, 10, 5. Predator hit the ground and slid forward. He skidded to a stop, right in from of a boy near a dragon. [/I]

Hajime: "...That was too close..."

[Dragon Warrior]

Ryu fell from the high balcony as the figure knocked him off. He landed with a thump. "Rooie!" Ragear shouted as he saw Ryu just laying still on the cement ground.

"Hahaha! Foolish, little insects! The old geazer we call the wise man was right!" The shadowy figure stepped foward revealing his form: Shadow Wing. "Now you shall all die, starting with that girl." Silva gasped and then turned to Shiva.

"Ready to fight?"
"I was born ready." Shiva replies as she zooms into the sky and dives at Shadow Wing. Shadow Wing smacks Shiva away like an over-grown lizard.

"Well I dropped her like a bad habit." Shadow Wing laughs at the people below him. He leaps from the balcony and stands infront of Ryu's limp form. Ryu suddenly grabs his leg. "What in the- hey!!!" Ryu knocks him down to where he is and yells.

"Get him now Silva!"
"Okay! Go Shiva!" Shiva zooms across the sky like a silver streak and tackles Shadow Wing creating a chain reaction which sent Ryu flying towards Silva and Ragear.

"Argh! I am too weak right now. I never expected this! I will win!" Shadow Wing says over his shoulder.

"Sure you will." Ryu says. He turns and stares into Silva's eyes. "We make a great team."

"We sure do." Silva says smiling.

"Tine for foo'." Ragear interrups.

"Awww. Ragear, you didn't even fight! How can you be hungry! Your going to eat Silva out of house and home!"

"It's okay, Ryu. Go on and eat something Ragear." They watch Ragear run happily to the kitchen.

Shiva stretched her legs and said in a low voice, "I should get some rest. Good night Silva. Ryu."

"Night." Ryu and Silva say together. Shiva walks off to where she sleeps.

"Well, Shiva's right. We need sleep! Oh and Silva..."

"Yes Ryu?"

"Thanks for everything."

Silva smiles. " No Problem."

Amber: *riding on Kazul's Back*

Kazul: *running through the village trying to get out from a mod of people with steaks and pitchforks behind them* can't i just smoosh 'em!?

Amber: NO! u'll start a rocus...hurry u can go faster!

Kazul: *takes flight, amber slipping off and falling to the ground, kazul not noticing*

Amber: damnit! COME BACK!

Kazul: *can't hear her*

Amber: uh oh... *starts running from the mob of villagers* HEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OOO, this is good stuff! I'm gonna copy a version of this story to my pc when it gets long enough.

Silva wakes with the dawn, stretches, and walks out to the terrace. She is surprised to see Ryu there.
"Did you get up early this morning, too?" she asks.
"Well," Ryu replied, looking sheepish, " I kinda never went to bed last night."
Silva furrowed her brow. "That's not good. What did you do all night?"
"Stayed out here."
"All night?"
"Yeah, I just couldn't get your song out of my head. And you said it was important, even now? Is there some way we can get you to remember it?"
Shiva and Ragear have come out by this time too. Ragear rolls across the neat lawn, Shiva stepping after him.
"I can't remember anymore right now."
"But we can try, right?"
"Well, I don't--"
"This IS important, just like you said."
Silva rubs her arm, looking at the ground, wishing it would swallow her up. Shiva turned to the pair, noticing Silva's discomfort.
"Ryu--" she began.
"C'mon Silva," Ryu interrupted Shiva. "You [i]got[/i] to remember!"
"Ryu, look, I don't want to right now..."
"Silva!" He puts his hands on her shoulders. "[i]This is important![/i] You can't clam up now just because you have a bad feeling!"
"Ryu?" Shiva tries to interrupt, but is ignored again. Ragear pauses in play, his ears quivering in nervousness.
Silva slaps Ryu's hands away. "You don't understand!"
"Look, whatever is bothering you may be bad, but if we don't get this song out of you, things might get a lot worse!"
Silva glares at him, cletching her fists. Ragear walks up and sniffs at her. "Oo leeking."
Gritting her teeth, Silva brushs away tears angrily. "Jerk," she mutters, and flounces back into the house.
"Silva!" Shiva stands on her four legs, about to follow the girl.
"What was [i]that[/i] all about?!" Ryu asks.
"It was something I was trying to prevent," Shiva says solemnly. "Silva does not like to speak about her past, what she lost. If you had only listened--!" The Draaqua sighed. "What's done is done. We must fix this now."
"Wat wong?"
"I messed up."
"Rooie fessed uhp?"
"Yes, Rooie--ah, Ryu messed up, but we can--"
Ragear stared hard into the sky and growled.
"Ragear?"
He didn't move, but bared his teeth harder and growled deeper.
"Ragear! Shiva, what's going on?"
"He's back, they're attacking again!"
Ragear opened his mouth in a huge roar, as a large fireball slammed into the palace building they were standing outside of.
"[i]SILVA!!![/i]"

Silva recalled the first line as the fireball slammed into her home.

Three black, scorpion bat looking creatures flew in after the fireball. They screeched, bloodthirstyly, and dove at the three on the ground.
Shiva knocked one back with her powerful tail. Ryu dodged his, a few deep scratches on his shoulder. The third locked with Ragear, and they tumbled over and over.
Before Shiva's could recover from its fall, Shiva breathed ice on it. The scorpion bat clunked to the ground, an ice sculpture.
"No no no, that's cheating," said Shadow Wing as he came back into view. A wave of his hand had a whole swarm of scorpion bats attacking Shiva, holding her mouth shut.
Ryu picked up a piece of rumble from the ruined building and held it up as a shield. "We have to help Silva!" he hollered, as the scorpion bat tore his rock shield in two.
"Yes yes, but oo help us-ens?" Ragear whimpered. His bat raked its claws across his face and Ragear snarled. He hiccuped and spat a mighty blast at the bat. It was gone in an instant.
"Such power..." Shadow Wing whispered. "No matter, you're not my perogative today. The girl!"
"NO!" Shiva screamed, though restrained by bats. Shadow Wing stepped to the building, and was stopped by Ragear.
"Call your mutt off," Shadow Wing said. "The longer we stand out here, the longer the girl goes without air. She'll die if you don't let me through."
"And she'll die if I do," Ryu spat back. His scorpion bat lunged out with its tail, and Ryu collapsed into a poisoned sleep.
"ROOIE!" Ragear cried. He faced Shadow Wing, preparing another fiery blast.
"Little insect, you are too valuable to destroy, but you are in the way!" Shadow Wing spat. He summoned more scorpion bats to surround Ragear. "And now, the girl."
