Desbreko
Whee, I made a little site to host the photos I take with my new digital camera. Now everyone can see the wonderful pictures I take. Trust me, you won't want to miss these, lol. All of the pictures are 1024x768, so they might take a bit to load. Anyway, go to www.desbrekophotos.netfirms.com to view the site. It has links to all of the photos I've uploaded. So, what do people think of my amazing photography skills? :toothy:
Syn
The upper park ones are very good. ^_^
Shy
I really like your pics, "Tree through foggy window" is my favorite. Since I don't know mucb about photography I am unable to critique you, but these seem like a good way to start a hobby in photography. -Shy
GinnyLyn
Wet Dawn! That one ROX! Heh, I always wondered if people liked images like that--I know I do.
Spikey
I like all of them. But if I were to choose my favorite, Wet Dawn. That one is very good. Keep 'em coming, I want to see more.
Desbreko
Yeah, I like Wet Dawn too. I was actually just kind of messing around with the camera, and decided to see how a picture would turn out if I tried taking one through my bedroom window after I wiped most of the fog off. It turned out a lot better than I expected. Before I can take any more pictures, though, I need to get some new batteries for my camera. That thing sucks down four AA batteries faster than anything else I've ever seen. >_< I decided I'm just going to get some rechargables so I won't end up spending all my money on batteries.
Red
Wet Dawn and Upper Park Power Lines would be the two I like most. If I had to choose one overall it would be the latter, I don't know why I like it so much though.
Sara
I like the foggy window one...it makes a spiffy muted desktop. ~_^
MysticGohan
Sorry to say this, but most of the pictures you took were plain and dull. You should start off by getting yourself a little better camera, this all depends on how serious you're into photography. Also, try to get a subject in your photographs, not just a landscape of some hills. You should've moved more closely into certain parts of the hills and what not. I did not intend to burst your bubble, but those pictures need some help. Try to even photoshop some of them to get the pictures a little brighter. Look into the 1/3rd Rule to find out different and unique ways to position your subject(s) in your photographs. - MG
Desbreko
Well, first off, my camera was a Christmas present, and I don't have the money for anything better. (A good digital camera is damn expensive, especially for someone with barely any income). You also kind of have to remember that I am just starting out with photography, and I haven't had all that many opportunities to take pictures yet. I got a book on photography that I'm reading, so they will get better. Also...I don't have Photoshop, so that's kind of a problem.
MysticGohan
Well, from your first post, you seemed quite sure that you pictures were pretty damn good. I guess you were probably being sarcastic. What camera are you using? - MG
Desbreko
Yes, I was in fact being sarcastic, lol. *take out the box that the camera came in* ...It's a Mustek MDC 3000, apparently. It's just a little compact one, which I like, because I'm going to be carrying it around a lot, mainly for snapshot sorts of pictures. It gets up to 3.1 mega pixel resolution, though, which isn't bad. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I took some more pictures a few weeks ago, and I just now got them up on the site... If anyone cares...
