Since v7 is still a while away, I thought I'd provide a little facelift. As you can see, it's a bit darker...but it's not completely "black and white". So I hope it will please those who disliked the more colourful style. It probably looks more like v5, I think. o_O Anyway, I'm not yet done...I'm adding bits and pieces here and there. I like the buttons, and the darker colors definitely reflect the color scheme of the banner, obviously. I thought it looked a little odd before, so this is nice. Reminds me a bit of v4, which I really liked. :) I do like the darker colors over the brighter ones, but I liked the brighter ones too. I just tend to like darker colors for pretty much everything. And I especially like dark purples and blues, and this new color scheme seems to have lots of dark blue, so that's good. Although the buttons at the side of the main page are a little hard to distinguish at a glance. It was easier having two distinct colours for the new posts, no new posts icons. Apart from that, I like it lots ^_^ EDIT: Actually, they aren't too bad. I wasn't paying much attention when I looked at them. They are harder to notice than the older ones, though. It look great, and when I saw the site with the new banner, but the old colour scheme, I got a bit confused. I like the colours, and the button are looking better than ever. I've finished the gradients on the front page...though I'm not quite sure about the orange. It matches the banner exactly in terms of the actual colour data, but I don't know if it looks quite right. I might change it if it's too jarring for people. Anyway, I've addressed most of the other issues I think. Is there any way you could make it a bright box if there are new posts, instead of the same dark one? That snowflake thing WAS starting to freak me out a bit. I kept on getting reminded of the sucky gifts i got.
