Yu Yu Hakusho!
WARNING: This post may contain some information that may make you sick. Read with caution. I just got over the SF this week. First my mom had it last Monday (actually, the Monday before last) and then my dad got it after her, and then me. I got it on Saturday morning, last Saturday. I was so sick. And it just hit me right after I woke up. The last time I had thrown up had been when I went Deep Sea Fishing in the Gulf of Mexico back in 2000 and I discovered that one of my weaknesses is Seasickness. And now I did it again.....I didn't eat anything that day. All I did was just drink a little water and lay on the couch watching MIB II and Austin Powers: Goldmember. I started feeling better on Sunday and my dad decided that I was well enought to go to school on Monday. And no I wasn't! But I went anyway. And then he grounded me this week for not doing some stupid history homework when I WAS SICK. I guess he forgot that part. Well, it sucked, but I'm over it. Anyone else have it? Rain
Well, a few months ago, my sister got sick. She had some flu thing. And then my brother and his girlfriend caught it, his girlfriends sister, my mum and my dad. They all got over it, and I thought I was safe, but then about a week or two later, I came down with that flu. Well, at least I was only sick for a few days. Darn sis ><
Solo Tremaine
Yeah, I've been pretty ill recently too. My dad came back last Friday night with a terrible stomach ache, so he said. I didn't think too much of it until I heard horrible noises coming from the loo. Then I knew he was really sick, and I hoped that the rest of my family wouldn't too. Anyways, everything looked okay until Mondya morning, when I woke up at 5am with a rather bloated feeling. After spending an agpnising 50 minutes sitting on the toilet floor I threw up. The worst thing about it was the build-up. I just wanted to get it over with. Another fifty minutes later it happened again, with the same horrible build-up. This happened six times until I finally fell asleep and woke up to watch Outlaw Star at half eight. Then I fell asleep again. On Tuesday I woke up with my neck aching like anything. I knew it had been from lying down all day and night, but I could hardly move. I was feeling a little better, though, and was able to move around a bit, but still couldn't eat. Wednesday wasn't much better, and I'm still ill today. That sick feeling came back, too, after I ate a slice of bread >_< I know how you feel, YYH. It's not very nice. It's had me stuck in the house almost all week, and I'm going to have to miss fencing and gym, too. At least it means I don't have to go to school, but I'd rather go than face this illness again. Zidargh
Oh no, please do not tell me alot of people have gotten this. I had this for about two weeks about 5 days before Christmas, and it was the first time I've ever been ill for Christmas. It was the most depressing thing that had happened to me. But now I still have a cough from it. I managed to keep myself from vomiting somehow, but eventually I just broke out. And I apologise for getting into details about this but, most of it was indeed phlegm. You try to keep yourself from swallowing the stuff, but its a horrible habit to spit outside, so I eventually got the side effect. I hope you are better now. And also, sitting down and recovering after about two days DOES NOT HELP! I found I got myself better by gettinf some fresh air and exercise somehow.

Spikey
I haven't had anything this whole year. Reason being I don't go outside, or eat any nasty foods. But I do get headache's every now and then. But nothing serious, just some minor setbacks. I usually just play a game, and why the cutscenes I rub my head. My brother, awhile back had the flu. Then it lead to a horrid flu. Then it lead to surgery. They had to take his appendex out. Too bad nobody gave me attention at that time. Anyway, I didn't catch it, and I hope I don't. But if I do, so long for a week or two.
DarkMagician
I thought I had the flu a while ago, but I ended up being taken to the hospital in an ambulance. I remember them slipping the IV needle in my arm, but then I passed out. I knew I did because when I woke up, I was in the recovery room instead of the ER. That was my Christmas, I was bed ridden for a week and a half hooked to machines and IV's...lovely...and the doctors don't even know what made me sick! After like..5 million tests too yet...I'd really like to know, because it could have killed me...heh..all I was told was that my white blood cell count was almost down to zero, anybody have any idea what could have caused that? The Vampire: Ed
Yup, it's not a secret. Being sick sucks. I remember back when I was like ten I had managed to get a the flu, and I was setting new records in body temperatures. I felt like I was laying on a grill, and I constantly had to lay in a cold bath to keep it down. When not in a cold bath, I had to have several towels wrapped with ice on my head, chest, etc. It was pure hell. I threw up constantly, had stomach pains, head aches from coughing and sneezing none stop. I looked horrible. It may sound like the usual flu you'd get, but it was bad enough my parents thought I was going to die. Hmmm....sometimes I wonder if it really was that bad. Syk3
It's weird, I havn't been sick for the longest time. Over the past few years, I believe that the only time I actually missed school was when I would go on skiing trips. It was worth it, even though making up one day of school is a lot of make-up work on it's own. But I do remember one time when I had the flu. It was terrible; I just lied in bed all day, and when I would simply move my head in one direction, I would have to throw up. That really sucked. :( I think I lost about 20% of my body weight.
That's exactly how it happened to me. I woke up feeling bloated and then I went downstairs since everyone was up. I layed on the couch for like 5 minutes and then threw up. I just uttered a few weak words, "I'm sick Dad..." and threw up some more. My dad had on The Mummy Returns on our sattelite and I watched it for another 20 minutes or so until I puked again, and on the way I didn't make it....AND to top it all off, being as sick as I was, I had to clean it up. But I don't blame my dad for not wanting to clean it. And I did and thank god it's all over. I didn't throw up anymore after that, and it was all on Saturday. That very day when I was sick I discovered the Anime Street Cats or something like that....about the 2 girls living in Chicago with the gun shop and all.....that was a good way to pass time. I slept on the couch in my living room because I didn't want to accidentaly puke in my bed or anything....but I didn't puke anymore after that. I didn't fall alseep until 4:00 AM while I watched my YYH DVD's. That was one of the worst days of my life in a long time.

Rhys Mayiessen
Right after Christmas my dad came down with whats called the Norwalk Virus. Its been going around this area and I've seen some people at school that have had it. Anyways they say its very contagious and it comes out of both ends if you know what I mean. My mom, my brother, and I all had to wash our hands everytime we did something to make sure that we didn't get it. Luckly we didn't but it might be still around here somewhere...:nervous:

Rhys Mayiessen
No actually I live very far away from England. Ontario, Canada in fact. It first started over here in the Hosptials then it started to spead everywhere. You've got to look out...
