"What the hell ARE you?"

Words the Predators hear every single day, haunting their dreams. The first time one of them had been killed in a millenium. The first time in a long while. Nereis sighed forlornly. The one that had died was his own father. He practically screamed out for the man. Yes, Predators called the males of their species men. Nereis sighed again. He was forced to recognize the laws of his culture. A predator killed in fair combat by a human is to be honored, not avenged. The human is to be honored above all." Again, Nereis released his wrath upon the race that murdered the only thing that ever mattered to him, his father. He continued his hunting, shredding skull upon skull from humanity's shoulders. He stared to the sky when a mysterious, bug-like shadow crossed the moon, heading right for him.

Nereis:Irth lock K'tlaran nah wer!* DIE SCAV!!!

He raised his claws, jumping upward and slashing through the carapace, aiming a laser through into the weak insides using his triangulated sight just above his right eye. The Scav was fried from the inside. Nereis grinned and went to work cleaning the skull. It would fetch plenty of northlaks...

Embyr wrapped her wings around her. It was not that the chilly wind of the morning bothered her, her folded wings just made her a little less conspicuous.
She watched the steel dome below her. It looked so harmless from the outside, but inside, Embyr knew, was a different story.
A buzzing sound filled her ears. Embyr irritatedly shook her head. Her master, if she called him that, needed her services again. Embyr had, more than once, thought of simply disappearing again, the way she did with other employers if she found a higher bidder. But there had been none so far.
Embyr was troubled as she spread her wings and made for the dome. Usually humanity swarmed for her services and those of her kind, but now she received incresingly less jobs.
Embyr alighted near the dome. Time to go see what her master needed now.

"The Hunt is no game. It is a way to win respect. It is a way to vent anger. It is no game!"

His father's words echoed through his head. He could barely believe it had been so long since his father's death. He sighed, releasing his fury. He could not hold onto it anylonger. His father had killed himself to avoid a dishonorable death at the hands of Major Alan Schaefer. The Predator race respected that, and they respected Alan Schaefer, whose nickname was Dutch. Nereis reached over onto the shelf, grasping his ysla* and downing it in one gulp. The swill was good, but the side-affects were weak compared to his homemade version of the popular milak*. He grabbed his claw-weapon and his mask, heading out of the base towards the field for the next battle against the Xenomorphs. He saw a human tha looked all too familiar to him. He lifted his mask and altered his vision from infrared to optic, recognizing Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer. He walked over to the man, actually feeling in good spirits towards the man, and made a bit of a joke with him using his guttural mastery of the human language.

Nereis:What the hell ARE you?

Dutch stared, almost laughing as he replied with the same words and annunciation Nereis' father had used.

Dutch:What the hell are YOU?

Nereis:He was my father. He taught me many things. But now we battle together, not against. But after the battle, I fear we shall not be on the same side for very long.

Dutch:It isn't my fault the damned assholes at Political Command decided to inhabit your planet. In my opinion, we already live on too many planets.

Both continued the conversation until the first wave of Xenomorphs spilled over a crest in the distance, heading right for Nereis and Ducth. Both grinned their respective grins and began to slaughter the horde, bit by bit. Nereis would gain very many skulls. As a result, he would get many northlaks. Maybe even a few trinaks...

Rion crouched in a corner as a pack of humans went by, they were on a strike/protist, and guess what it was about, removing mutants off their inhabited planets, or exterminating them. Rion was shaking with anger how could Humans think mutants had no feelings, and were just monsters. He had always hated Humans and that was no lie except for one and that was the widow that adopted him when he was 16, she was different from the rest, she understood him and protected him. But she paid for taking him in a group of humans came and killed her. Ever since then he had been in hiding and being hunted it was easy enough to hide from Humans, but with the Predators now collecting skulls, it was harder than ever Rion couldn't stay in place let alone a planet for more than a few days. Rion couldn't stand it any longer he would go where there wasn't hardly any Humans. With that he went to where the ships were docked.

After turning in the numerous skulls and healing the even more numerous wounds from the battle, Nereis returned home. As he slept in his straw mat-bed, he sighed, staring up at the stars through his pith-glar*. He made the motions that entranced him into a deep sleep, caressing the currents of air with the very breath from his lungs. He sat bolt upright in a matter of seconds, however, when his ears were met with the sound of a silent, still motion that only Predator ears could have picked up. He stared towards the source of the sound, seeing in his infared mask an area of slight cold, yet mild warmth. The traces of a vampyre. Nereis ripped his mask off, seeing normally the pale, gaunt face all too familiar to him.

Nereis:Asmodeus, what the Nirthak* are you doing here?

*Pith-glar = Tree canopy. (Prdators traditionally sleep and live in treehouses)

*Nirthak = Hell

Orien led his squad through the deoths of the Xenomorph hive. He and his squad had to destroy the queen Alien.
"God Damn aliens...Always making life miserable."
"Stop griping Hernandez. You of all people should take it easy. You need to keep that blood pressure down, remember?"
"Well, if I'm trying to keep it down why am I hunting bugs?"
Orien smiled grimly as his squad exchanged banter. He was no stranger to the Xenomorphs. They had wiped out his colony and he had lost an arm to one a few years back. He spotted something moving in the darkness ahead. He quickly signaled his squd to halt. They brought their weapons up, ready to fire at a moments notice. Suddenly a Alien burst from the darkness, charginf. Instantly several weapons were discharged into it. It slowly slumped into a heap on the ground. Hernandez stepped forward and vaporized the remians with a flamethrower. They moved on...

Syria:I hate traveling like this, I never seem to get a good meal.

She turned around and dropped the human the only provided a decent feast for her, but he still hadn't satified her appetite. But she knew she had to keep her cool till she arrived at the next port.

Syria: Oh well it beats starving.

She jumped back into the darkness of the carrier and licked the blood from her lips trying to enjoy last morsels of her meal. As ske laid there she could only think of her next goal,To find Asmodeus and kill him. She had been on his trail for a few weeks now but always seem to be one step behind him. Now she follows the next clue. While on Kyros she heard of him blowing a Scavs reactor and knew she must travel into their territory but couldn't get there so easily and she was now bound for a planet in human territory hoping that he would try to come back and help them.

Sryia:*smile come upon her face**thinking*(At least while I'm there I'll get a good meal.)

She soon falls asleep in the cargo ship, awaiting her arrival to the human planet.

Orien and his squad slowly walked through the tunnels of the Hive thingy. Suddenly he signaled his squad to stop...
"What is it, Sir?"
"Something is following us. I can hear it..."
Two members of the squad turned and peered back into the darkness. Suddenly, he spotted a shimmering in the air...
"Holy S---! Its a pred!"

"No mutants can get on any ships,"

"What?" Rion yelled at the scrawny attendant.

attendant: "You heard me, now leave!"

Rion felt like squeezing his tiny neck, but he thought better of it, turned around, and walked slowly out of sight. But he was determined to leave and making sure that nobody was looking he slowly, trying not to catch attention slunk into a corner, watching for a ship that wasn't heavily packed, so that he could quietly, get on a ship.... Having arrived on the human planet, Sryia looked around for her next meal. Hoping it would come along soon. She Wlked through the crowds of humans but had to supress her will to feed, knowing that her true identity would be revealed. As she walked along she heard a little argument between two people and looked on in curiosity. I forgot how funny humans could be...She said as she continued to walk along. As she began to exit the building she remembered to look at the time before stepping outside. Luckily it was now dark. As she kept walking she caught the scent of a new meal. She walked over to a young human who seemed to be mad about something, as she looked at this human she noticed something different. Before she could think, the words were blurtered out...

Sryia: Are you a mutant?

Rion: Yeah and so...?

Syria: Sorry I've just never seen one before.

Rion: Well now you've seen one so go.

Syria: Well before I leave, it looks like there's something wrong?

Rion: I just wanna leave this planet. I mean you humans are so mean and I can't take it. But what would you know.

Syria: Well... I just know this. I know a ship to get you out of here. *Rion looked at her* But before I tell you, I want you to give me a little information, that is if you can?

Rion shook his head Yeah I can help?

Syria: Good, have you heard of a warrior named Alan Schaefer.

Rion: Yeah he's on the news all the time, but he's off fighing in the galaxy somewhere.

Syria: Thanks, and know for my end of the bargain...come with me.

As she showed him to the ship, Syria was tempted to kill him, but she knew she now had the information to get one step closer to her true objective.

Rion walked beside this human, but he could sense something different about her, in someway, he didn't completely trust her, but she seemed O.K. Better than alot of other humans. Besides she was letting him on a ship, then he could get away from this cursed planet, full of idiotic humans. Rion had his doubts about her, as with every single human he met, so he decided to tuck them away in his brain, but he promised himself to stay alert. Besides he wanted to help her, in anyway he could....

Sryia: No get on this ship. It'll take you away but be careful. You now have my scent on you. He may come after you.

Rion looked at the strange girl wondering what she was talking about, but within himself he knew this was the only way to leave.

Rion: Okay I'll go but tell me who you're talking about?

Sryia; If you haven't noticed I'm a vam-- No I can't tell you what I am for if I do, You'll have to die.

Rion jumped back, but stood his ground and asked the same question again.

Sryia: All I can tell you is to watch you back for a strange man. He may notice my scent on you and therefore you must'nt trust anyone else.

Within both Sryia's and Rion's mind was a sense of fear. For the first time Syria had made a friend, in a form more or less but knew that she was endangering someone else's life. Sryia turned and began to walk away.

Sryia: No go and be careful. Also beware of me. Next time I may not be so nice.

Rion watched her walk away, then sneaked on board the ship. He sat down behind lots of cargo baggage and packages, there he pulled his wolf-like tail out of his pants. After a while he dozed off, wandering vaguely where this ship was going.
Later he woke with a start when he heard voices complaining about how heavy some of the cargo was, Rion startled realized he had slept thoughout the entire voyage. He flexed his hands and feet making his sharp claws come out, then as quietly as he could he scaled the wall, which was difficult because it was metal, but he climbed up until he reached the ceiling, he carefully made sure that his claws stuck in the ceiling as he went upside down along the roof. Suddenly, his feet slipped as he was just over the men unloading. Clinging to the ceiling with his hands he tried vainly to get his feet back up, but he was to late, the men had felt and heard the whoosh of air, as his feet swung past their heads. They looked up and saw his feet, they grabbed them and pulled, Rion's claws slipped and he fell, only to be jumped on by nine more men. Rion tried to escape, which was being made extremly difficult with eleven men holding onto him. Rion snarled and bit as they threw punches and kicked at his head and stomach. Finally with two men holding onto each arm and foot, they had Rion held against the wall, while two other men were knocked out cold. The other was pulling something out of the aid kit, a long needle. Rion knew what it was and whimpered loudly, struggling madly at the people holding him, but he was held fast. He turned to face the one with the needle, who approached grinning triumphantly, slowly he felt his head being turned exposing the side of his neck, Rion started to shake with fear he closed his eyes, waiting. Suddenly he felt it peirce his neck, he felt the burning stuff injected into him, he howled in pain, then his muscles went weak, and vaguely he heard a voice say welcome to the Predator Home Planet, then he blacked out.
