[color=deeppink] [size=1]I just thought it'd be fun to bring back an old movie. ^^ One of my favorites...

When I first heard about it, I really didn't think much of it since it was a musical, and I really never could get into musicals...

But when I saw this movie, it was amazing! Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor are both one of my favorite actors/actresses now, and Moulin Rouge is my third favorite movie ever.

[color=purple]Ah, defintely one of my favorites. Thank you Juuthena, you succeeded in making me smile. Which is a rare occurance in my depression.

Anyways, I absolutely adored Moulin Rouge. Nicole Kidman is my favorite actresses. I adore Ewan McGregor, it's my dream to just pinch his adorable little cheeks, though I'm not sure he'd appreciate it, coming from someone about 15 years or so younger than he is. :shifty: This movie always makes me smile, I love John Leguizamo's part in it. My friends think I am odd, well one of the reasons anyways, is because I walk around school singing the songs. While all my friends are singing The Misfits, The Exploited, and The Sex Pistols, I'm singing songs from Moulin Rouge.[/color]

Yeah, that was one fantastic film. I love the way all the songs were fed into it, and the combination of tragedy, romance and humour is just right. Yeah, I agree that Leguizamo's part was fantastic - Toulouse Lautrec! Heehee! Many happy memories.

And of course, Baz Luhrman was perfect for it, considering his past work. Great direction.

I thought at first I wouldn't like it cause I usually don't like musicals but when I saw it I absoultely loved it!:D Now I have downloaded almost all the songs from Moulin Rouge and I can sing to them pretty well by now (though I can't sing for my life). Moulin Rouge is my second favorite movie (of course the Lord of the Rings Trilogy is the first!)[/color]

[FONT=arial]*repeatedly beats head into the wall* I've been dying to see it since the last time I saw a thread on it here. and I even went so far as to go to Blockbuster to rent it. turns out that when I got home, the cashier had given me a completely different (and sucky) DVD >.<'. didn't go back though, cuz my mom 'didn't feel like it'. but yeah, I'd sure [i]like[/i] to see it, it sounds interesting.[/FONT]

Loved it. When I first saw previews, I was a little iffy on if I should see it. I decided not to see it. But then I watched it on HBO when it came on, and loved it. :D Love the music that is in it. One of my favorites.

That is by far the most genius song ever put into a musical.
I hate musicals, but a few are acceptable.
The song Nature Boy, with David Bowie and massive attack rules.

[FONT=arial]*laughs insanely* I saw it! dear Lord, I actually saw it! and I [i]loved[/i] it! one of these days when I get the money, I'm gonna buy that movie. Ewan McGregor is awesome. they totally duped him on the Star Wars trilogy deal. I cried during parts of the movie, and I don't do that for most movies. and the songs were great. I freaked a little when I heard 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' though, hehe. [/FONT]
