Really, this is just an easy cash-in. Just like what Nintendo has been doing with its GBA ports.

That's not to say that it's a bad thing though. It would be pretty silly if Sonic Team weren't updating the game [i]at all[/i] though. But for those who have only played SA2, I think you will probably end up enjoying SA a lot more if you're a fan of the old Sonic games.

As CWB correctly points out, it really does retain a lot of that speed from the original 2D games. Of course, it's far from perfect. There are so many things they could/should have done but didn't. Oh well...[/color]

Speaking of which, will there be anything new in SADX, like forsay new music, or different twists in the levels. I've got SA on the dreamcast, and I wont get SADX unless there's something new.

Back to the case at hand, we all know that the 2D games were better than the adventure......although there was one crappy game on the snes when you avoid traps, rings give you time, and mario is a checkpoint :flaming:. I forget what it's called and I don't want to remember. So not all the 2D games were prosperous.

One more thing, the only two 2D games I never played were Dr. Robotnik's mean beam machine and sadly, sonic cd. Aww well back to the auctions.

well, if you look back at the first couple posts, there is talk about 2 new charecters, but that probably won't happen. I do think that some new loops and alternate paths on the levels would make the game more interesting, considering I beat the DC version.

That game that you mentioned about Mario being the checkpoint and stuff? I never heard of it, but it sounds....er...interesting

This one might be better from the looks of the levels and I think I've seen the red robot before just can't remember. Anyway this one maybe cool but I like my Sonic CD the most.



Oh i just noticed that bird behind Amy in her snapshot if you can't see it look in the mirror reflection you can see it better that loos like one of those Flickies from Sonic 3D blast.
